✔️ Minecraft: 8×8 Redstone House (FULL HOUSE TUTORIAL #1)

Today we’ll be building this redstone house hipster door that’s awesome look at me walking right through compact elevator we’re going up easy super smelter i got you item elevator look at those bubbles yo what is going on guys and welcome back to my channel my name is twis

And today we’re going to be building this 8×8 tiny redstone house check this thing out guys it’s sleek it is modern and it has redstone jam-packed in there yes 8×8 and it has redstone you heard me right this thing is going to be so fast and quick and simple to build

That you’ll be able to enjoy this redstone house in survival mode it’s also a great house to start building if you’re new to redstone and you don’t want to create a whole mansion i really like it but either way guys if you think the house look cool

Our minecraft world yes it is a real house it is just as beautiful as the cinematics and look at this thing all the way around i quite like it i’m not gonna to my horn too much but i thought i came up with a very sleek design and it does have some amazing

Textures to go along with it now if you’re worried about those textures do not fear because you could recreate the same thing using flows hd i am using stratum which is a paid texture pack but flows hd has the exact same textures at least for the blocks i’m using

But there you go guys all this awesome glass the wood and that stone that like gray black stone with the white i think looks very sleek and modern and the roof is uh quite simple but it gets the job done now we want to see the redstone right so let’s take a look

At that thing first things first obviously we have the doorway so check out the door guys we go ahead and just drop an item right there onto the floor and boom a two by one hipster door opens up and we walk on through now we’re inside of our house this

Gorgeous area i just threw in some random decorations you could do it however you like but we have ourselves some smokers and some smelters over here as well as barrels and then on this side we have a seating arrangement and a painting so we can just sit over

Here and enjoy that lovely view wow that is an incredible view actually uh to close this door we want to just grab another item and drop it right here onto the corner and boom there you go that is our door obviously like i said very simple so it’s just enough aesthetically pleasing

To be you know not too much of a hindrance so on the outside it looks fine on the inside you see just a gap over here but for the amount of time that it takes to build i think that is worth it but either way let’s continue on over here over that

Trap door which we’ll get back to right after we take a look at what’s behind this door so if you open up this door it’s going to be a very tiny bedroom with an armor stand and a crafting table some again basic decorations but this room includes another awesome redstone contraption

Which is right beneath my feet so if we stand on this block right next to this crafting table we could go ahead and click on it and then it’s going to take us down yes it is an elevator it’s going to take us down into the basement into our mining area

And look at this place guys we have some awesome decorations scattered around the area map and all of our tools for mining there’s our mine down there which of course is for role play you can take this as deep as you want and back here we have the third redstone creation

Which is going to be an item elevator with a conveyor belt so if we go ahead and say for instance grab ourselves a lot a lot of iron or say we mined out 64 iron ore uh in our mind we come over here and drop it into our minecart look at this

Put it into the minecart and it’s going to be taken up to the top floor so you can see it being taken and you can hear it maybe in the background but let’s stand back on the elevator right on top of this block here and then right click on that button and

We’re gonna head back up to the top into our room look at that guys super simple exit our room open up this trapdoor look down towards that chest and look at that guys we have our iron ore being placed into our chest using our redstone item elevator this thing’s really cool i’m

Also going to show you guys how to build a super smelter in the basement so in total we have four redstone creations but either way let’s go ahead and now take a look at how we build it now i do recommend you watch me build it before trying to build it

Yourself that way you know exactly what to do now the first thing is that we need to create an eight by eight space have mine right in front of me once we have that we want to grab our oak locks come over to the right hand corner and build one

Right there go two blocks over and place on another oak log go one block back and all the way down to this side and place another log just like that place one here at the corner and one there at the back and that is pretty much our pillars outlined

And we need to build this up until it’s four blocks high so that’s one two three and four and then we build it up until it’s four blocks high this is why i’m saying guys wait until after the video to build this because it’s going to be so simple

Once you understand what i’m doing okay so there you go those are the pillars next thing you want to do is grab some stone slabs and basically connect all of these pillars using an upside down slab so check this out guys we’re gonna connect all of these together very very simply

There you go and connect these as well and then for the front one over here we just want to bring this out until it touches this front pillar so look at that pause the video and um you know study it but either way here we now have a

Frame basically like 10 completed what we want to do is first build out this wall since it’s the easiest grab ourselves some stone stairs and place them down just like this right side up and then place some of them facing upside down so there you go and it should create this

Very nice looking wall grab yourself some regular glass and build out a line just like that and we should have a gap now in this area don’t worry about that we’ll fill it out but for now let’s go ahead and come over to the front section and place down some glass right over

Here until you have a gap yet again and then place down some glass just like so grabbing another pillar place down some of our oak just like this all the way to the top and edit it in that’s uh orientation so basically just do what i did

And then we could grab ourselves some cord slabs and place them upside down in this area just like that start leaving a gap between the top block and this block and then building it out on the bottom as well so basically all upside down slabs and towards the back it’s very simple we

Just need some white concrete and we just need to fill out the back wall with plain white concrete so there you go guys all the way to the top until we have a gap yet again so now we have this cap wrapping around the entire building how do we solve this problem well

We grab some more stone slabs and we place one right over here so right side up but one outside of the building so i’m gonna extend this towards the front and then build out just like this wrapping around the entire building hiding that gap so as you can see

Right around the entire building it’s looking good so far let’s continue building this thing we’re going to need the other variety of oak wood the one without these faces check this out if you just fly around and you can see that this one is just pure oak wood

We want to grab that first and come over to the top of these blocks and just extend it by one so now the pillars are five high so there it is and then we need to grab some more oak logs and build out just like this basically connecting all of the

Logs up together bam and bam and obviously over here you want to place down one block like that that variety and just extend this all the way around so now it should look something like this so far so good grab ourselves some more smooth old quartz and then leaving a gap of

One slab we need to place it right over here and just wrap it around the entire building so let’s go ahead and just do this it’s gonna be really easy just placing it on the bottom of that oak wood block just extending this and if you’re on creative mode obviously

Going to be a lot easier and bam extended out one more and look at that guys it’s coming together for sure grab yourself some white concrete and build out this area just like that uh either way that’s going to be the structure we just need to place some

Glass over here to complete it just like that leaving a one by two gap now comes in the redstone which is going to be the best part so we’re going to build the item elevator first i pre-dug my hole but i’ll show you guys how to do that we first need to stand

In the doorway then dig out one two three four blocks and then dig down two more and then jump down into this hole and then destroy one block facing the wall then we need to place on a chest over here and this is going to help us

Clear out the entire area once you have that you want to dig six blocks down until you reach to the bottom and then once you get to the bottom right beneath our chest we want to place one block over here just to mark our location

And then we want to clear out two blocks to the left and one block to the right and then six blocks towards the back including this block so one and then five more towards the back so that’s going to be one two three four and five there you go

And then once we have that area cleared out we want to um also clear these blocks next to our chest because we need room to work and then we need to come on over to the back center block count one two off and then grab our dropper and place it facing up right

Over here grab ourselves some hoppers and place it going into our dropper that’s facing up grab our redstone comparators place one coming out of the dropper going into a redstone repeater going into a sticky piston which is facing towards the right with a dropper or sorry with an observer on the

Face of it let’s grab our observer and place it facing towards this direction as you can see and then place another one just like that once you have that you want to grab some redstone dust and place it just like this now to test this thing out

What we need to do is just drop some items into our item hopper as you can see it’s going to basically dispense the items until there is nothing left inside of the dropper so let’s just go ahead and um remove all those items bam and bam so that is a very simple uh

Uh system to create you want to just reset this very quickly here there you go just like that and then continue building up the system by grabbing some glass basically surrounding this dropper with a glass to contain the water and then building this all the way up to the top

So just to make it simple building it all the way up there you go and one more so it’s very hard to work in these confined spaces but you guys could get the job done we need to destroy one block like this grab ourselves a hopper and place it going into that chest

Grab some more glass and place it on the left hand right hand side obviously to contain the water and also we need to place some blocks on top of our chest just like this now we can’t obviously place a block over here so what we need

To do and also to make it look better grab some stone place it on the right and left hand side and then what we could do here is grab some of our slabs stone brick slabs and place it just like this and we could use this one because it

Looks a little bit better and then for the floor we just need to build it out like so and just leave that open for now because we still need to add the water and just build this out like i’m doing right over here now to add in the water we just come

Back towards the outside of the house and grab ourselves a water bucket grab ourselves some kelp and some grass or some dirt so let’s go all the way to the bottom place our grass block by holding shift and space place our kelp or actually place our water first right on this block only

One higher than this glass i’m standing on that way the water runs into our hopper we need to go all the way down place our kelp and then once uh we do that extend it all the way to the top and then destroy all of the kelp with the grass block

Grab ourselves a block of soul sand place it at the bottom and we should now have bubbles shooting all the way to the top so there you go that is going to be the item elevator and now we could basically cover up this area so what we need to do is

To place down our grass blocks like that destroy some of this glass and cover up the area and boom we now have the item elevator we could finish off building the actual conveyor belt a little bit later but let’s just finish off the floor by using some white concrete just this area right

For now just like so and actually leave the space open because we’re going to build our doorway next so that’s pretty much the item elevator next thing you want to do is clear out this area all the way nine blocks into the ground so there you go i dug out the entire

Floor now let’s build our doorway we need to first grab some colored blocks and build down one two and three then add a block on the fourth destroy the first three blocks and place down two sticky pistons right on top of that build out one two three four

Right over here destroy the three blocks and place sticky piston on the face just like that destroy the block at the back grab some more blocks of your choice build out two over here destroy that block over there and build out one more so you have a

Space like this and then you want to build out two over here two over there and then grab yourself some redstone dust and place down three bits of redstone dust just like that grabbing yourselves a redstone repeater place it facing towards this direction on a three tick delay and place another

One over here on a four tick delay once you have that you wanna grab yourselves an observer block holding shift and space right click to place it down just like so and place another one right over here and the arrow should be pointing up finally we want to come down over here

And place another observer this time with the arrow pointing downwards grab some more blocks of your choice and place a block right over here so the observer is sending a signal into that block being caught by the redstone repeater and then a block right over here which is going to get a signal

From this observer in this location now we just need to grab ourselves the blocks that we’ll be using for our doorway in my case it’s going to be white concrete and place it right over there and then grab ourselves a lever and place it right in this area

Right click and it’s not going to work because i forgot one thing which is going to be an observer block in this location so let’s just destroy that to reset the system we need to come on over to this side grab an observer block while looking

At that bit of redstone dust just right click on it and place an observer with the arrow pointing towards the sticky piston replace the concrete and try it one more time and it should work there you go there’s our doorway and then once it’s deactivated it takes

It back into the ground so that is the doorway now we just need to add the inputs first things first we need to find that input block it’s gonna be this one right over here once you do that grab some blocks of your choice and build out

Two just like this giving us some room to add in a repeater and then a redstone comparator and then place a block down here and there grab your dropper place it facing towards the wall then you want to place a dropper facing down right in front of that so there you go

It’s facing down and then one facing up and then a hopper going into the bottom dropper now we grab a random block place it inside that dropper and it should activate our system taking a stone button place it at the top dropper hit that button and it should now

Turn off so that’s our t-flip-flop created then we need to just extend or fill in this area and add in our hidden inputs to this top dropper so add in a redstone repeater over there just for you know guidance to help us dig out some blocks on this and to see

Where exactly we want our input to come from so i put it on this block on this end so let’s um or actually on this block so let’s just mark this with a blue concrete block there you go dig down and clear out the area

And once we have that we want to grab another block and count down one two and three and on this third block place on a chest on top of that chest we want to place down a hopper on top of that hopper we want to place

Down a rail on top of that rail we want to place down a minecart with a hopper and then we want to basically surround this so it doesn’t get pushed off by accident which i’m about to do in a second okay nope i managed to not push it off

There you go it’s a little bit darker in here so let’s grab ourselves a torch really quick boom there you go and now we just need to take a signal from this by placing down a block right over here with a comparator just like that going into a repeater

Whoops going into a repeater into a block and then redstone dust right at the bottom so let’s grab some redstone dust and place it wrapping around just like this so now when we go back to the top let’s go back up and drop a item into that block and get sucked into the

Ground and it activates our system and when we do it again it deactivates it or opens up the doorway so that’s one side now completed to finish this up we can just cover the floor bam and leave that for now so you know exactly where the input

Is and do the same thing on the other side basically grab yourselves some blocks of our choice i’m going to use white and you’ll see why in just a second build out one like this one more and then extend it all the way down to this corner

One block like this one block over here or redstone repeater and then a redstone repeater going in like so destroy the block at the bottom and place redstone dust all the way along here and then from here you want to place on a bit of redstone dust

Here a block on top of that a comparator going into this block and then you know what we have to do so we need to first come on over to this block which is where our input is going to be located and we can replace some of this

And then count down one two and three yet again on the third block we’re going to place down our chest so let’s grab our chest place it right there any direction it doesn’t matter hopper on top with a rail and then a minecart or hopper in

A mine cart and then surround this bad boy so it doesn’t go anywhere and boom we now have another hidden input and we can test this thing out by dropping a block and there you go drop another one and it opens back up so there’s our hidden input now we just

Need to finish off this area clear it out and build the bottom section with our two remaining redstone creations so i’m going to show you guys how to fill this in because it could get complicated what we need to do is come down to this piston right over here and start

Building a wall just like that extend it all the way down to that first observer and extend it all the way until you get to the top until you can build no more and boom there you go then you want to extend these blocks just like this creating a ceiling and

Covering up that chest from the bottom as well and then towards this wall you just dig out a two by three area so that’s where your mind is going to be and then on this side two blocks or actually one block away from your observer we’re going to build that

Minecart system to do this we grab some blocks of our choice and as well as a block of redstone place a block of redstone one block away from that hopper just like that a block right over here one there there there and all the way down this line once we have

That we want to also place a block of redstone like so power rails on top of our blocks of redstone with regular rails going all across this area so boom there you go then we what we need to do now is basically grab ourselves some white concrete

Place it right in front of that rail to stop our um minecart from flying off destroy some blocks over here just to give us some room to work with build up one more and then two back destroy the first two blocks place down a chest like so

And then grab ourselves a minecart with a hopper and then place it on this block and it’s gonna just gonna go back and forth so just hit it there you go wait what’s happening go back and forth come on there you go it’s going very slowly but it’ll pick up some speed

As it hits the other one so boom and now what should happen is when we place down two bits of redstone dust in there should grab the redstone send it towards the item elevator and extend it or disperse it to the top chest so boom there you go very nice then we just

Need to fill out this area and also fill out the floor by the way so now since we’re filling out the floor it should be eight blocks until we get to the top and we’re just gonna fill this out with our white concrete for now and also grab some torches

Because it’s kind of dark in here and that is that now we just need to build the elevator and the furnace now for our elevator we want to come to this block right over here and replace it with obsidian once we have that destroy one two and three blocks and extend this

All the way down to the bottom so there you go just get rid of all of those blocks including the one on this side and now we want to replace this with our obsidian and then come back down to the bottom and dig down five blocks let’s dig down one

Two three four and five grab ourselves a torch and continue to dig this down one two three four five and then over here as well one two three four five and here and then two back just to give us some room to work with yet again grab ourselves some obsidian and place it

Right at the bottom connecting up to this side wall replace this with obsidian as well destroy the blocks on this side and replace it with obsidian going all the way to the top just like that and you could place some white concrete over there to signify the floor

Come back to the bottom grab yourselves some slime blocks let’s go ahead and do that place them on top of our obsidian and make sure that you replace this with obsidian as well because the slime blocks are going to get caught on it so let’s just do that

While we’re at it place down our sticky piston facing up right over here and a sticky piston facing down right over there with two more slime blocks on top of that grab a block of your choice and build out two blocks right in front of that slime block and then two blocks right

On top or in front of this slime block grabbing yourselves an observer placing it down just like this and as you can see the face is going to be pointed towards the back wall do the same thing for the bottom with both faces or actually i did that backwards with both faces

Pointed towards the back so there you go face and face and it’s going to go all the way to the top automatically and stop at that obsidian so that obscene is actually what’s stopping the elevator from lifting up your entire wall so it’s very important that you have that

Right over there now to send it back to the bottom let’s first destroy this wall okay i guess invite yourself in destroy that wall and um uh move the llamas away from you let’s uh let’s get rid of these guys sorry but you’re interrupting the video okay he’s just gonna he’s just gonna

Chill at the bottom okay so uh back over here you want to destroy the block that’s right behind her obsidian clear out this area and then finally destroy this block right over here which is going to send the elevator back down and once you have that you want to

Destroy these two blocks over here this two over there that one right over there grab another white block place it you know back in that position we can destroy this black one for now destroy this one grab ourselves some redstone dust place it right over here there and right

Over here actually no uh place it just in those two areas with a piston just like that and a block just like this and then grab a button from your inventory and just test this thing out so if we hit this button it should extend and then we just need

To fill the floor back in so let’s just fill the floor back in leaving a gap obviously for that piston to extend and activate our observer block fill this all back up cool and just get rid of these guys out of our construction area hey how’s it going

Come back over to this block on this side destroy two destroy one more one more and basically let’s clear it out so we can add in another input like so and build up a spot like this replicating what we did at the top piston facing towards our a regular piston facing towards the

Front of that observer block then we want to build one like this build one out like that one like this so just like a one space and it’s pretty much going to go down to activate our um piston so let’s place down some redstone just like this

Bam and then test it out with a stone button there you go it’s gonna just pause for a second and then go all the way back up to the top now we can replace the floor using our floor material which is going to be white concrete so if you come to the top

Stand on this block hit that button it should take us down as you saw when you hit that button we go back up the only downside is that you can’t fill the space back here so what i do is i just replace it with very dark blocks in my case it’s

Going to be obsidian might as well keep it all looking nice and clean replace these blocks as well and bam and this should be very nice once it’s completed so there you go and i just leave that one white so you can actually see the block

And i also fill these out as well and make sure when you destroy that top block that you replace the redstone over there as you saw i just you know destroyed it then grab some white concrete extend the wall like so that way we hide any redstone any visible redstone and create a

Convenient little room towards the bottom for us and then we could add one more there and then grab ourselves some red carpets let’s grab some red carpet and some red wool boom i think the red wool is gonna be here and then the red carpet’s gonna be in all of these areas so

There you go and wool over here then we need to grab our oak logs yet again and place down our oak logs just like so it’s kind of dark now but place place down another torch and do it sideways like so and dig dig one more out like that and then

Behind these blocks we want to grab our glowstone and add our glowstone right over there and then you can just continue building this however you want this is pretty much just going to be your mind for my sake i’m just going to block it up and on this wall we’re going to create

Our smelting system make sure you also replace these bottom blocks so it looks nice and clean and obviously when you have your staircase and when it’s going down you’re going to put your stairs right over here there you go so we have our area for our super smelter let’s get to building this

Thing first things first place down a chest right over here with a hopper going into the back of it then extend this by three so those three hoppers are going into that first one grab your blast furnaces or your smokers and place it right on top of those hoppers

Grab some more hoppers and place three of them going into the back and then three of them going into the top as well just like so grab some blocks place two over here and one over there two over here and then one over there you want to

Place down the rails at the bottom first so they don’t connect so place on a powered rail regular rails and then a powered rail and then a power drill at the top regular rails and then a powered rail and then you want to place down or destroy these and place a powered rail

Um you know an easy way to do this is just to block it off there you go instead of you know doing all that complicated stuff let’s uh do that again bam and destroy those and check that out they don’t connect so they have to be the same length once you

Have that you want to build a block up like this because you don’t want the minecart to fly off of it come back over here destroy that block and build one up like this and then one up over here and let’s make some room for us to see what we’re doing

Grab ourselves and we have to replace this block by the way but place down our redstone torch here and there that should power the rails and do the same thing on the other side come back over here and replace this block with obsidian and then we need to pretty much just

Grab our hoppers and push them along or they’ll take off on their own then we need to grab our chests and place down two chests right here a block over here and two chests right over there you can destroy that if you want but i’m just gonna pretty much fill out the area

So we don’t see anything we don’t see nothing through the cracks we just see a black wall so let’s just fill this out and also replace this bit of dirt here because you’ll be able to see from the outside and that one as well so let’s just test

This out we need to first grab some fuel and some more i have them right over here the back one is going to be our fuel whoops uh we need to place the fuel there and then in the front place are smeltable items so there you go and

It should start working and distribute those items evenly and once they have cooked you see that they’re all dispensed into that furnace now to fill this area up we just need to place our blocks just like this obviously we want to keep this open and then we want to maybe have a ladder

Or something to to reach the items all the way at the top but we could cover this part up and bring it down like that and we can also extend this one more if we so choose and then if we grab some slabs some smooth slabs

We could be able to do this grab let’s just finish up the decoration here ladder bam bam and like this and i sort of like seeing it but i’m gonna hide this minecart for now just leaving that once area so you know you could know exactly where to

Add your items in over here you can add a upside down staircase so let’s add the staircase that should work there you go and finally last but not least grab some glass because you want to see when those furnaces are actually working so check this out guys

Bam that is our super smelter now completed instead of having a painting there we now have this epic fairness now comes time to finishing up this design and building out all of the remaining bits that we forgot so i’m going to empty out my inventory into this chest right over here which by

The way we could place a staircase upside down to make sure we could access this chest boom let’s just place all these items in there we need to grab some cobblestone so let’s grab some cobblestone we need a slab and a regular uh block so let’s place down one block here one block

Right there and then the slab like that and then we place our item frames you guys get the idea and you can place whatever you want in that area and down here what you would want to do is also extend it just down by once make it look a little bit nicer

Hit this button go all the way back up to the top so as you can see this area is open so what we want to do now is build out our floor just like so grabbing some more stone leave an area open right over there do this and do that

Grab our trap door not our tarp door our trap door place it right over here as you can see you can now access oops you can now access that chest and all of our items are in there and then we build this out and actually let’s let’s try this one more time

So we know exactly what we need to fill in so yeah you want to make sure that any blocks in this area is going to be obsidian so we need to fill this out with obsidian because it brought down the entire wall and also made the system get stuck

So um let’s update that there you go it’s going to go back up to the top and then we could just fly through using spectator mode and then replace the floor bam bam there you go replace those and yeah that should be good we just need to

Finish off the top floor you have to keep this you know bit of redstone here obviously we could cover it up a bit or clean up the area a bit but that’s pretty much all you can do and you have to leave that one to uh be grass so uh let’s come back

Down here hit this button fly up to the top so you can finish out this building we want to come alongside this space right here along this pillar and just build out like so extending it all the way up to the roof and then on this side placing down two

Uh glowstone blocks or just one if you you know like it to just be one and then you want to place your door right over here come back to this area get rid of those blocks and replace it with white do the same thing on this side

Right over here as well and then around the entire outside of the building you want to put um what i used was cobblestone so let’s uh go ahead and use cobblestone for the outside of the building not the interior so as you can see as i’m wrapping around the building

We have this cobblestone just to make it look a little bit cleaner a little bit nicer and you can replace this one as well because you know exactly where that block is going to be bam bam all the way around until you get oh until you get to the llama if there’s no

Llama there just uh carry about your business and bam there you go all the way around now it is pretty much done it’s up to you how you actually want to decorate it but if we come back to the outs oh we actually forgot a spot right here

It’s up to you how you actually want to decorate it but that’s you know to your own imagination but there you go there you go guys that’s basically going to be this 8×8 redstone house i hope you did enjoy it it was a fun build if you want to see
