Welcome back to redstone in 60 seconds i’m animus jay and today we’re talking about the basic ways of powering redstone take a piece of redstone over top of a stick in the crafting area that’s going to make a redstone torch redstone torches are capable of powering blocks above them and Adjacent to them the only way to power a block below a redstone torch is to put it on the side of another block just like this on a crafting table if you do a three by three pattern with redstone that is going to give you a block of redstone Blocks of redstone are capable of powering in every single direction below beside and above put a stakeover piece of cobblestone will give you a lever put a piece of stone or a piece of any type of wood and that’s going to give you buttons both buttons and sticks are capable of Powering the blocks below them and beside them as discussed in the previous video all these methods are capable of providing power for 15 blocks of redstone dust just remember that the button is a temporary pulse whereas the lever is permanent on that’s it for today the next one we’ll be talking about redstone Repeaters Video Information
