Hello everyone my name is pixel riffs and welcome back to the Minecraft Survival Guide I hope you’re all having a good day in today’s episode I’m starting off by actually doing some detailing and decoration for the laay cave where the Aly river is from the previous episode and I’ve decided to

Start decorating it with a pattern of tough and mossy cobblestone and a few other things to help this little structure blend in with the environment because obviously right now it’s kind of standing out to something that looks very plain and teex Tech and I want to make sure that it looks more natural

It’s up here on the mountain and the mountain really deserves to have some sort of like natural looking cave on it instead of something big and Industrial like I like how natural this area looks and I don’t really want to change that so far I’ve just kind of made this

Quarter circle of tough but I think it looks okay so far it’s sort of blending in with the landscape of the rest of the Stony aspect of the Hill quite nicely and I think on top of this I want to build a large custom cherry tree and The

Roots can dangle down through the cave and maybe over the mouth of the cave a little bit and that will disguise the fact that there is Blue Glass and water streams up there and everything looks a little bit more uniform once you get inside and a short time later we are all

Done I really like how this came together this is a kind of cherry Bonsai inspired tree above this cave and I think that worked out pretty well I’m sorry I didn’t go through the whole process of building this but it was more of an improvised thing in future we’ll

Have tutorials for custom trees and a bit of landscaping and stuff like that this is just something I had to do for me because I’ve been doing a bunch of mechanical stuff recently and I really felt like doing a little bit of building but I’m trying to get back into my

Groove and decide what exactly I want to do with the builds around this area I knew I wanted to keep the Mountain Natural feeling so while I wanted to make something like a Pez dispenser to kind of accompany the mechanics of what we’ve got with our Alay storage I felt

Like something a bit more natural and something cherry tree inspired was going to fit so overall though I think I’m really happy with this nice use of cherry leaves and wood and the mangrove Roots dangling down into the cave I also decided to expand a waterfall on this

Side and had a bit more tough jutting out from between that to kind of split the waterfall in different ways decided to do that so that it would cover up the fact that from a distance you can kind of see the blue glass inside of there

And so the eye is sort of tricked into believing that that’s just a bit more water maybe a sort of mountain spring in there if you’re looking at it from a distance and I suppose there is technically water flowing inside of there because that’s where the laaz

River is but anyway that’s going to be it for that project for now though I want to focus on something different we’re going to go back to the end today and resummon the dragon both because there are a couple of things we missed in the original dragon fight that it is

Possible for you to do and also because it will open up another end gateway to the outer end islands and I could really use that because my supplies of shulker boxes are running a little low and I want to expand the amount of them that I

Use here in my Ender Chest right now I still have a few bits and pieces of loot from the Woodland Mansions occupying some space inside of here and I have a couple of empty shulker boxes but I’ve started using some of these to take over for my bulk storage chests over here in

The storage building so where I’ve gathered too much Stone and it would end up flooding the entire system here or going into the Overflow chest I’ve decided to tuck a bunch of it away here in this shulker box which is going to compress what is effectively a single

Chest of stone into the space of a single inventory slot in a double wide chest I think the other thing I have in such large quantities is dirt so I did that around here as well yes there we go but that’s accounting for two shulker boxes so I can’t really use those for

Anything else right now and so my supplies of shulker boxes are dwindling a little so today we’re going to return to the end and we’re going to respawn the dragon in order to do that we will need a couple of supplies first of all we will need some Eyes of Ender of which

We have a couple in here and we can always grab a few more by bringing some Blaze rods with us to the end and killing a couple of Enderman the other thing we will need is ghast teers so I think I have a couple of those in here

We will need a couple more it’s possible I have some in here where I’ve been brewing my potions but no we’ve used up the one for some potions of regeneration and we will need to go to the Nether and get a few more well that affords us the

Opportunity to have some fun with the spy glass because there are actually three advancements for using the spy glass in different settings which I think begin right here yes there we go we need to go to a jungle and look at a parrot through a spy glass then when we

Go to the nether looking for gusts we can look at the ghast through a spy glass to get the follow-up advancement and finally we can also get an advancement for looking at the Ender Dragon through a spy glass and that will be one of the things that we didn’t get

To do in our original fight so we’re kind of taking a roundabout way of getting to the dragon but our first stop is going to be over here adjacent to this mountain where we should have a jungle biome the jungle biome is home to a couple couple of

Unique mobs one of which is the oselot that you see down there kind of a non-table cat variety although if you give them a fish in the same way that you give a village cat a fish you got to stand very still and then wait for the

Oselot to approach you once you fed at some fish they will trust you a little bit more and they won’t run away quite as frequently but the other inhabitants of a jungle biome can’t be found in these sparse jungles they have to be found in the more dense jungle areas and

Those are parrots which you should be able to see occasionally flitting between the trees in bright colors and parrots are very small and the jungle is very dense so they are occasionally difficult to spot but I think I just spotted a blue one coming down from this

Tree over here so yep there we go let’s see if we can get a look at it through a spy glass there we go is it a bird I think he’ll find it is so with that errand taken care of I’m going to fly to my Savannah Village portal and we’ll

Make our way through to the nether but while I’m here expensive though they are I’m going to buy a couple more ender pearls just to get that task out of the way now and let’s hop on through to the Nether and go looking for gusts and of course the portal to that Savannah

Village did emerge in a Soul Sand Valley which is the ideal environment to look for Ghasts since they will spawn here more frequently than they do in any other biome we simply have to follow the whimpering noises which is a lot easier to do now that we have elytra and

Instead of using a bow we can actually swoop in and take this ghast out with our looting sword this should hopefully encourage the gas to drop more than one tier although that time I think it only dropped one we got a bit of extra gunpowder though of course I am going to

Do the other thing I said I was going to do which is look at a gas through a spy glass and then we can swoop in low Dodge these fireballs and take out the gas that brings our total to four gas tiers and while we could stick around and farm

Some more I think it’s time to return to the Overworld where we will convert one of these blaze rods into two blaze powder so we can bring our total of Eyes of Ender up to four and then we need to go and get some glass supplies of glass

Are pretty low these days so I’m going to smelt a stack of sand and hopefully that will do and then once we have enough of that glass we’re going to look to our crafting table where the end Crystal recipe has become available you need seven glass around the outside One

Eye of Ender and one ghast tier and that will get you a single end Crystal we will need a total of four to respawn the dragon before we do that though the most important thing to know about end crystals is that they are incredibly explosive much like the end crystals

That you destroy on top of the obsidian pillars during the dragon fight one of these can be incredibly destructive and so you can’t just place them anywhere they can only be placed on top of blocks of Bedrock or blocks of obsidian only one of which the player has access to in

Survival so you’ll only ever be able to place these manually if you put them on top of a block of obsidian unless of course you are down at the bottom of the world where the Bedrock layers are or you return to the end to place them on

The Bedrock portal which is where we are going right now but what I will say is if you end up placing one of these things it’s not possible to obtain it again and anything that you use to damage it whether that’s to pick it up you just punch it or a projectile or

Something like that or using your tools is going to cause the thing to explode it will deal damage to blocks in the area and it will deal an immense amount of damage to you at close range so just be careful and don’t say I didn’t warn

You at this point however we can take the nether tunnel back to the stronghold where we’re going to return to the end dimension for a rematch with the dragon we’ll return to the stronghold we’ll Dodge around the silverfish spawner and we’ll hop on into the end portal where

We should enter as we have before on top of this obsidian platform as usual the end Islands have their fair share of Enderman and in the center is the return portal that we can use to return to the over world around the edges of this on the four cardinal directions adjacent to

The central pillar we’re going to place an end Crystal on each of these four sides and once we place the fourth Crystal we’re going to step back and watch the dragon’s respawn sequence in action you’ll notice that this pillar over here is looking kind of flat what I

Have done recently is Harvest a bunch of obsidian from this pillar and you’ll notice that when the dragon’s respawn sequence begins that pillar fully regenerates so any obsidian that you have have harvested from these pillars will be completely regenerated along with the cages on top of there and I

Think an Enderman just got taken out by that Crystal regenerating and the explosion there but once the respawn sequence is complete the dragon should reappear the fog will cover the end once again and it is up to us to fly around and destroy the crystals flying around

With elytra though is going to make this a cakewalk compared to our original dragon fight so it should take us no time at all to get these crystals destroyed in fact this is kind of a fun challenge if you want a more novel way of fighting the dragon is to see if you

Can stay in the air the entire time and only attack the dragon from the air instead of landing on the ground now I haven’t brought in a firework rockets that I think I can sustain that completely and it looks like we’ve just got these two caged crystals left

Because there are gaps in the iron bars above those caged crystals it is possible to shoot them from above if you want to do an extra daring stunt but of course it is always possible to shoot them from below as well like we did in

Our first dragon fight so there we go I think I got that one yeah but of course one of the other things I said I was going to do is take a look at the dragon with a spy glass to get the is it a plane advancement and that’s completed

The trio of advancements we can get by looking at stuff using a spy glass the other thing we could have done which I haven’t brought with me actually is get hold of some Dragon Breath by bottling up some of the dragon’s breath that lands on the ground when the dragon

Shoots its projectiles at you I was pretty eager to get this dragon fight going so I didn’t turn the rest of that glass that we got today into glass bottles so we’ll have to come back and do a third dragon fight but I’m fairly certain that’s something that will be on

The agenda later at this point of course we have all the right equipment to take on the dragon so I’m not all that worried about stepping in here and dealing a couple more hits of damage with the sword there we go and the dragon knocks us up into the air for a

Little bit of an extra boost and we can follow it around with the bow shooting at it as we go just be careful about colliding with the dragon while it’s in midair because of course it’s still still going to deal a fair amount of damage to you and knock you away pretty

Far but our second dragon fight is already almost done and I’m going to be looking to the skyline around here to see where the next end Gateway is going to generate once we have taken out the dragon once it’s on the portal though it’s impervious to arrows so we need to

Come in and finish the job at close range we’ll go for the legs this time since that’s a bit of a safer option for the dragon leaving the portal doesn’t deal nearly as much damage though and there we go that’s our second dragon fight all complete deleted now let’s see

If we can take a look around and get a bead on where our next end Gateway has generated H where is it going to be there it is right over there okay so a little bit to the what is that to the West uh to the southwest of that central western

Pillar you’ll notice that this time we don’t get nearly as much experience from killing the dragon either previously it drops about 12,000 experience which is enough to get you from Level zero to something like like level 60 in this case though it only dropped a handful of

Experience it drops about 500 which is still a decent amount like it still got me from I think level 30 something to level 35 but it is not quite as much as we might have expected previously from the dragon fight so that’s something to bear in mind the dragon isn’t the XP

Farm it appears to be at first glance however the true reward is perhaps this thing over here because we now have an end Gateway that points in a different direction and while of course the end islands are all linked out there so it would be possible for us to explore from

This portal to the area covered by this portal it certainly helps to have a shortcut out to the end islands and if we end up fighting the dragon more times if we end up fighting it a total of 20 times we will end up with 20 end

Gateways which is the maximum amount you can have spaced out evenly around the central island this one is out over the void a little bit it might be that there’s enough terrain down there for us to respawn on it but it’s certainly a little difficult to scaffold up when I

Haven’t really brought much in the way of building supplies with me no worries though because I’m going to top up on fireworks real quick and we can actually fly directly into this portal let me eat a golden carrot or two before I do and we can attempt to fly through this

Portal or if we simply hit the Bedrock we can float down into the portal and get on through to the outer Islands as we’ve done before I’m going to take the coordinates of this Gateway just in case it is the only spot where we can find

Our way back but of course now that we’re here in the islands with rockets and elytra we’re going to be able to explore a lot more easily I’m going to head out in the same direction that the portal took us in search of my first end

City and from there we will once again explore in a grid in the cardinal directions as ever the one thing to be aware of is the durability of your elytra making sure that is fully repaired before you take any daring flights over the void but as we go it

Looks like we are running into some occasional end gateways which is perfect we’ll have plenty of options for making our way back to the central island and here we go an nend city has come into view so Prov provided that this isn’t one we have attacked before which I’m

Fairly certain it will not be we can swoop on down here take out some shulkers oh apparently aggro and Enderman in the neighborhood and the shulkers at the gate have already multiplied by hitting each other a couple of times as they tried to attack me well once again making sure we attack

Them with a looting sword is going to be a great way of guaranteeing a couple of shulker shells and if you want to you can take advantage of a little exploit in which you hold a looting sword in your main hand but fire a bow from your

Off hand and you will still get the loot effect applying to your ranged attacks that’s also a really great way of taking out Ghasts for additional ghast tiers whilst you’re farming for end crystals so keep that in mind if you feel like going to the Nether and getting some gas

Tiers with the shulka Watch Dogs taken out it’s time to climb the central tower and it looks like as we get to the top here we should be able to take out this one shulker and then explore the arms of the city around the outside because

Weirdly this Tower here is the one that everything else branches out from kind of a weird anti-gravity look to it but this is something we didn’t get to cover in the previous end cities we’ve raided because none of them generated with the room we are about to enter inside of

This room you’ll find a few shelers hiding in the corners but behind these two end rods that are jutting out over here you will find both a loot chest and an Ender Chest which can be really useful if you haven’t brought an Ender Chest to the end yourself but you want

To stash some of your gear away so with the shulkers out here taken out a couple of them have ended up teleporting to the outside and might actually be cloning themselves out there so we should probably keep an eye on any others that start warping their way in here we can

Take a look at this chest which oh contains some kind of disappointing loot to be quite honest it’s only six gold ingots and a bane of arthropods five sword now I’m going to leave that there in the meantime though I will take this ender chest with me and add it to our

Collection don’t forget you can break those down into obsidian if you want to as well so you don’t even have to use them as ender chests they can basically Be an Effective source of portable obsidian and now that we have a lra we can actually be much more effective in

Taking out any shelers that are hiding below the structure like this one one which seems to have taken up residence underneath this part of the building and we get a shulker shell from that one as well so I’ll just use an ender pearl warp down and get that but the general

Rule of thumb with these nend cities is that if you find any of these outer buildings that have three layers to them those are the ones that contain loot chests and ender chests and unfortunately that is the only loot we’re going to find in this city since

It terminates in a small Tower there and there we don’t have any more three layer buildings on the arms to either side so the only other stuff we can expect to get from here is the shulker boxes themselves which I’ll absolutely still get because they’re sort of the reason I

Came to This n city in the first place but at this point I am conscious of the fact that I’m running fairly low on food and I don’t believe I have a backup supply of food in my Ender Chest right now that’s one of the reasons I want

Another shulker box actually basically I want to make sure I’ve got a lunch box with me when I go on more dangerous Adventures like this another really useful way of combating the levitation effect by the way if you find yourself getting stuck inside one of these buildings with the shelers levitating

You everywhere you can simply place a bucket of water against an adjacent wall and the flow of the water plus your ability to swim in water will counteract the levitation effect and that can be a really useful tip for raiding these end cities especially if you’re up some of

The taller Towers where the chance of fall damage is potentially lethal and having now taken out all but a couple of shulkers in this city I’m going to cut my losses and leave it there we’ve got an odd number of shelers but I have one more City that I would

Ideally like to find and it’ll be one with another end City ship so that I have a backup elytra in case of emergencies in case I lose this one or I die somewhere far away and I need to fly back in order to recover my equipment so

While I’ve still got durability on my shield and a little bit of food left we’re going to fly south from this city we’re going to just follow one cardinal direction keep a lookout around us for any other end cities and hopefully we should find one with a ship that’s going

To grant us a second elytra and it looks like this city here is just the ticket it’s got one big loot Tower right there and it has a ship waiting for us over Yonder oh and there’s another ship opposite oh wow what a pair of cities

And that one looks massive we’ll have to come back and raid that one there’s at least three or four layer cake buildings there at least one massive central tower as well and another ship over there so that we could get another elytra it’s tempting to fly over and get that one

Today to be quite honest with you but for now we have our second elytra right there we’ve got a bunch of diamonds and gold in this chest as well a bunch more diamonds in here that’s nine diamonds total plus a diamond helmet and our Shel friends have found their way back inside

Yep there we go I’m going to leave the Iron Equipment and the you know beetroot seeds and Saddles and stuff in here for the moment I’m not too worried about this the main thing I want to do quickly is pick up the brewing stand and we’re

Going to take the dragon head off the front of the ship to confirm that we have raided this one but I’m definitely taking the coordinates of this site here we’re at negative 297 – 2731 we’re definitely coming back here to raid these cities but I’ll do that

When I’ve got a bit more food and a bit more Shield durability for now the only thing I want is one last shulker shell to complete the set I’ve got in my inventory so I have an even number and it looks like the shelers on this ship

Are going to be stingy and not give that to me well no worries we’ll swoop down to one of these smaller Towers looks like we’ve got one shulker on the roof here let’s see if we can get a quick shell from that one we did fantastic all

Right that is enough shells for nine more shulka boxes but with my shield in this condition and a minimal amount of food I think we’re probably going to wrap up there we’ll find a convenient end Gateway return to the Overworld with our shulker boxes and see what else we

Need to store unfortunately for me there was a convenient end Gateway very close to the city I had already raided so let me just step up onto this we can duck using a lightra and instantly we’re back through the portal fantastic well let’s head back to the Overworld let’s take

Our shulka shells with us and let’s wrap up the episode there for today oh and it turns out we’re not even back at my base we’re back at the Village because I slept here when I last visited well folks that’s been an action-packed episode we got ourselves three no four

Advancements cuz we got the end again for respawning the Ender Dragon of course we got the three spy glass advancements we’ve returned respawned the dragon and gotten ourselves some more shulker shells and I even got to do some building at the beginning which felt kind of cozy and nice as far as I’m
