🤯 Unbelievable Fog Texture Pack Revealed in Minecraft Bedrock!

if we’re being completely honest every time we’ve ever reviewed a texture pack with the word Shader or Shades in the name it’s been a little bit hit or miss and that’s because we’re kind of waiting for Minecraft to release the official Shader support but until then Minecraft still haven’t even released a brand new texture pack this week and that means that I gave it a vote for you guys to choose which texture pack we will be reviewing today and with nearly 65% of the votes the texture pack that we are reviewing today is Shader like Fog by Hero Pixel Games it currently costs 6609 tokens which is equivalent to £329 in my local currency and it says step into a scene of stunning realism and HD sun and moon illuminate a world cloaked in Mist with diverse blocks and animated foliage all exquisitly retextured for an immersive experience realistic atmosphere HD sun and moon realistic fog block variations animated grass and leaves everything retextures retextured sorry 12 skins use it in your world have fun I was really thrown over by the poor grammar at the beginning of that but let’s get this texture pack [Music] reviewed so loading in the resource pack now I can say that Shader like fog has been out for just over a month and a half and we never got around to reviewing it on the week that it was released it was given to a different pack I can’t remember which one it may have even been voted for at the time but it’s comeback round again and we are here in the title screen we’ve got a nice background picture being floated around I like that little um header card as well that Shader light fog looks very very nice it does make Minecraft look small though so maybe they need to make that a bit bigger cuz by Hero Pixel Games is pulsing out to the right but it looks very nice here I’m liking the blue I’m liking the transparency behind as you guys get to see my save games this load into the world it doesn’t seem too crazy of a loading time but there is usually an error that pops up there it is as actually some perfect timing and I don’t know if it’s my Minecraft build I don’t know if it’s how like texture packs are doing it now or if there’s a Minecraft update that’s ruined a few things but a lot of texture packs seem to have a lot of Errors we immediately load in we got a rather nice Sky there quite realistic clouds compared to what you would normally get and there is the fog that you would expect as well it’s not too overpowering it’s quite in a way it’s actually kind of minimal from how I remember previous fogs as well some fogs can be overpowering a little bit too much but this is yeah it’s quite nice you know it’s it’s soft on the eyes in my opinion looking around as well so we’ve got the weird purple Birch some packs do this I don’t know why Birch gets changed to a weird color sometimes but it breaks up the monotony of the green takes your eyes away from the delicate touches of brown as well then you got the sea the ocean the river looks all right yeah I mean it’s a very nice atmosphere to begin with so let’s get down there and let’s check out the passive [Music] mobs so we’ll come over to this mountain here for now and obviously as we check out some passive mobs we’ll also be checking out some of the blocks that are down here it does say we’ve got animated grass and leaves so just trying to have a little look around it’s a nice polished maybe even a minimalistic texture of dirt here not too crazy the flowers they look nice as well I did notice the stone down here looking very polished very polished and when I say polished I’m talking like polished and theight Polished uh diorite we got creeper there that’s a little bit for later on yes it’s a very minimalistic texture pack at the moment do we have animated leaves yes we do we have got it’s a it’s a small touch nothing too crazy nothing to take you out of it too much but as well we are here for the passive mobs that’s even more delicate of animation there okay so we’ve got a donkey right here and yes very polished it’s a very clean texture in my opinion they’ve added what almost looks like brush strokes but it does look very clean very deliberate on how that’s looking when we go over here we got some bunnies we don’t normally look at bunnies minimalistic polished again and now when I say polished right I’m talking about look you got the outline of the mob very clear you’ve got a clean central it just looks very very smooth is probably the best way to put it now do we have any more of the usual mobs the sheeps the cows the chickens or the pigs oh yeah we’ve got a sheep over here here we go so just having a little look around again it looks very clean very polished not really sure what’s going on with his eyes there he’s looking up and outwards okay well as long as you know what you’re looking at mate that’s fine um we’ve got the clean smooth wool as well got the black feet okay I mean it looks nice it definitely looks nice it doesn’t feel like this texture pack is going to be changing a ton of what makes Minecraft Minecraft it does say everything is retextured though so I’ll be expecting to see some changes on everything but it definitely looks like it captures what Minecraft is and the actual I’m trying to think of the word the vanilla of Minecraft oh we’ve got some cows down here okay we got some speckled cows not not bad at all I’m just having one second that is yeah okay so there yeah the block variation is in full effect here as well block variation is very good I do like block variation oh there’s a few different variations okay that could be very very good but we’re here for the cows so we’ve got the brown and the white speckled nature how does the face look the the white speckled Parts seems to become more prominent as you go around I he is all over the front of this guy okay now this guy his eyes are different to the Sheep size okay I don’t think we’ve got much in the way of 3D no it doesn’t look like it the nose isn’t sticking out that’s okay doesn’t promise it then we got the pig oh the pig looks a little bit dirtier I guess that’s through the shading he’s got a face on the side look there’s the eyes the nose and the mouth but he looks a bit dirty I suppose that’s because pigs are dirty animals I guess but the brush strokes and the shading very very deliberate here oh he looks sad don’t be sad bro it’s okay you definitely see the animated a lot more here though look at this with the grass yeah okay this looks nicer here with this animation the movement which has always been something my mcraft has lacked is movement it’s a very static game is there there’s no animations there they haven’t animated the two block High flowers which I feel like I’ve seen in other texture packs also that doesn’t look like it’s connected but maybe I’m nitpicking anyways um it does look with the movement does look very very cool though I cannot deny that is there a chicken around here okay so we managed to get to two chickens here as well just have a little look around Bo now this is definitely a reach when they say everything GRE textured I mean the chicken is very hard to look at in general and see changes he’s he’s he’s doing that weird run that that everybody does in memes um I suppose it does look polished they definitely haven’t changed much about it though oh that’s a nice sand texture okay I can I can live with that all right so there’s been a little bit it’s a bit weird very polished very minimalistic changes now they don’t normally survive for me when it comes to texture packs minimalistic changes don’t normally do too good but I’m learning how to do Shader packs better than I used to so it’s not going to be a takeaway from it that there’s only minimal changes to the mobs it’s very polished this is definitely about atmosphere this is definitely about Sky Block like the sky BLX and the fog and stuff like that and then you’ve got the variations as well so there’s enough to get you know into let’s go and find a village and see what Villages look like okay so we are zooming in on to a village and that is the second time I wonder if that’s come out in recording that’s the second time the game has started I don’t know if that’s because the pack is quite big I’m not actually 100% sure how big the pack is this time um or if it’s my PlayStation who knows but it’s definitely worth noting that that’s the second time it’s started look at the blocks so Cobblestone okay I I like pling Stone a lot better than I like cobblestone in all honesty but I’m is that that is mossy cobblestone so that’s not a variation do we get variation from this it would be very difficult to do variation and keep everything marked up it doesn’t look like it where’s all the variation maybe it’s subtle variation I’m not sure um again though the textures do look the wood textures look very very polished Cobblestone I could live without the Cobblestone to be honest it’s just very noisy very very noisy hi there we’re just here in your house hope you don’t mind we’ve got diverse Villages so that’s good I feel like I haven’t said that in a while we do have diverse Villages this guy he’s very inquisitive questioning everything type villager here I saw I saw I saw his facial expression okay come over to here oh they all are okay now that face would get that facial expression would get very um very very boring very quickly in my opinion um let’s go over here what is this is this this is white terra cotta that’s a nice texture for white terra cotta and it’s very the outline makes it clean makes it polished just having a look just want to step back a little bit just to try and get it all in yeah it’s definitely keeping the mind craft base vanilla Textures in heart here there’s not too crazy changes it’s not too massively different we’ve got this guy look see that face again for the third time why are you looking like that bro I don’t know I do not know they’ve definitely kept villagers at the heart like Minecraft based villagers at the heart of their designs though and I can respect that but it does show you that this basically is secondary to the fog to the animations which is absolutely fine I mean 660 mine coins for this as we look at the Iron Golem here it’s one of the cheaper sides of a Shader is pack so you know we that that all counts to be honest with you you also get 12 skins I haven’t looked at the Skins I don’t know which ones they are you’ll see that in the Minecraft Marketplace looking at the Golem though again very polished but again very minimal it’s nice though I I actually like this this is a very very nice Golem I do like the kind of two-tone nature the two-tone shading it’s very very nice nice yeah I’m I’m getting more and more kind of secure in the fact that this is just kind of this is like a Minecraft plus this is definitely not here to change how Minecraft looks drastically but just to give the overall effect of having shaders currently available which Minecraft doesn’t want to make currently available for us on Bedrock it seems but I can respect it I can definitely respect it and it’s quite affordable so far um let’s turn it to nighttime and let’s see what the Hostile Mobs look like [Music] oh we’ve got a very very nice Moon here that is very nice indeed that that must be the HD Moon that they were talking about I didn’t notice it too much with the Sun but definitely noticing it with the moon um oh that is see that’s the atmospherical nature right there that looks nice just looking up over to the distance through the fog and you just see that ominous structure very very nice I did want to just say as well apologies if I’m rambling apologies if I sound weird I don’t feel too great today but we’re going to push through and get this review done we’ve got some uh Hostile Mobs spawning in so we got this what the hell is that oh my Lord from the goofy arm movements to the broken neck to the to the face look at this this guy is the definition of if you keep making that face one day it will get stuck like that oh wow okay so we’ve turned into a bit of a comical nature here um right oh okay that’s yeah all right wasn’t expecting that as we come over here what’s with the faces the faces are weird what is this okay I know it said that this is a uh everything is exquisit exquisi let me speak I know it says this is exquisitly retextured for an immersive experience but the faces they’re taking me out of the immersion other than that though trying to take the whole thing in is it’s a nice color palette of the spider the skeleton looks all right let’s see if we can see it from over here let’s check this guy out skeleton again weird face but no yeah I like the transparency I like I like the rest of the body just the faces are they’re killing me here man they I’m trying to be serious this is a serious report we’ve got a creeper very minimalistic kind of looks like he’s got a go te but fair enough um yeah it’s very minimalistic doesn’t change too much on the creeper I like the creeper I think the creeper might be my favorite um yeah I don’t know I wasn’t expecting the faces on the skeleton or the zombie um I’m just trying to scramble for an opinion on them uh let me go back in and have another look this zombie I mean I like the neck crack adds a bit of ominous nature to him I guess but what is going on with the face I can forgive the arms as well you know I can the face is just I wasn’t expecting it now if you’re expecting a super serious Shader pack this will take you out of it if you’re open to a bit of comical this will be a nice little addition um it’s going to be completely up to you how you feel about it I’m not 100% sure how I feel so I think I’m going to leave that one up to you uh let’s head over to the Armory and let’s check out the weapons and the armors so we’re here at the Armory and looking at the world generation looking upwards the sky looks very very nice now looking down from where we are the whole world seems to have a bit of a foggy tint I don’t know if that’s coming across in the video but it just feels like there’s like a blue to every block I guess which just makes it feel a little bit foggy I like the ores though the ores look very very nice I’m not seeing too much block variation everywhere around though there are block variations you can see it just here this is just the normal grass block and you’ve got one two three four for the base so we’ve got at least four different block variations there straight away so that it’s definitely here but I’m not seeing it in many other blocks I don’t know maybe somebody can comment down below if they’ve used this pack to let me know what kind of level of block variation we’re dealing with but I do like the ORS that is gold right yeah that is gold yeah I do like the yours the yours are nice um heading over here to the armors now so we’ve got lever leather looking very basic very basic in its standard style but then as soon as you get to the different colors I like this yellow one you know I do like this yellow one with the brown outline it’s nice The Cauldron looking smooth the quarts looking smooth as we look at the wooden weapons the weapons looking massive here absolutely massive different shade to the wooden armor stand I haven’t mentioned that in a while I do like when those two match because it’s wooden wood but it is what it is we’re looking at the chain mail again minimalistic changes but I like the transparency I like that they’ve kept that still massive armor sets uh weapon sets even sorry okay doesn’t look like there’s any changes across the weapons iron okay it’s a little bit noisier but it is it is polished you got the little glistening colors in here as well it’s a good color style and you got the weapons again massive and it’s it seems to be that one pixel outline that makes it huge I could be wrong but again no changes to the different weapon Styles it’s a little bit disappointing then we’ve got the gold armor sets gold armor sets are very bright you’ve got the the cuff links or the wristbands whatever you want want to call them here very Regal and Almost Royal here same again on the weapons though so we’re not going to spend too much time there diamonds I love this diamond color my voice is starting to crack so I apologize if I sound different but yes that is a very vibrant color right there I like that I do like that I’m I’m a sucker for the vibrant Diamond color the weapons though they could do I don’t know man the weapons need a touchup they’re massive the colors a little bit too vibrant maybe I’m not sure and there’s no progression between each of the weapon sets which again is minimalistic Minecraft I guess actually thinking about it the weapons in base Minecraft I don’t think they change too much either never right now never right looking beefy looking very very strong that is nice and then again for the weapon sets yeah it just again this just secures the fact that weapons and armors and this pack in general it’s not not changing too much and that is not a negative I have to keep saying that that is not a negative we’re focusing on fog we’re focusing on atmosphere we’re focusing on Sky we’re focusing on variants and animations just remember that 660 M tokens to make it feel like we have shaders in Minecraft see guys I’m learning I’m learning what these Shader packs are about they’re not the same as normal texture packs they don’t change everything they add atmosphere I’m learning the comments are teaching me this thing hopefully it’s coming across well in terms of the armor sets they’re nice they’re very vibrant colored the diamond is my favorite the weapons are a little bit a little bit too big In fairness a little bit too big um and the the Diamond feels a little bit too vibrant but it’s all right it’s all right um let’s head over and check out what the armor trims look like so we’re here at the armor Trims and now these are meant to be gold armors with diamond trim but the trims on the armors are all looking very white you don’t get that diamond feel silence still the noisiest one out of everything and that’s the only reason why I know it name is because it’s always noisy yeah I don’t know how I feel about this one rib looking nice though I like rib rib changes the colors a little bit so it looks nice but again I’m not getting that diamond feel at all from here why isn’t it why isn’t it vibrantly Diamond it’s very very weird very very weird let me know what you guys think let’s head over to the Red Zone and see what the Redstone looks like so we’re here at the Red Zone and immediately what I’m seeing here is very polished blocks that’s good that’s what you want really you want it to be clean you want it to look smooth and you don’t really want it to change the world when you’ve got a pack like this the Redstone Block I’m liking the little detail on the sides it makes it look like a deliberate block maybe even used in building maybe you can find a use for this the Redstone Dust not a solid line more of I suppose more of like a a poured out or sprinkled out design okay there’s not too much you can really say about it the repeaters the comparators just smooth polished maybe even a little bit scientific looking Pistons looking smooth yeah smooth all over the place The Observer block okay The Observer block keeps the face almost gone kind of monotone maybe uh and then the dropper and the dispensers they just look crazy they look weird I’m not really sure what’s going on with those then the daylight sensors and the target blocks to be what you expect to be honest with you as usual this section not really the most eventful very difficult to say things about Redstone but if you use Redstone let me know if you’ll be able to use those and let’s head back to the main world and see what the never looks like right so we’re heading into the ne and if that’s what we have to expect for neck in the background there I like it let’s see it’s taking a little while to load in and so far this texture pack has been a little bit middle of the run a little bit average in my opinion this this call it a Shader pack this Shader pack has been a little bit average okay so Soul Sand is just a flip of normal sand interesting obsidian looks nice the portal I could live without I don’t really like it when they split the portal into individual blocks like this like at least deliberately I prefer it when it’s more of an actual I suppose one tile instead of six at least gives off the impression but you know what it’s not terrible we’re in a Soul Sand Valley oh we’ve got an Enderman over here hello this might be one of the biggest changes going oh I like that I like that you look nice dude why do you why are you that that you look kind of nice okay as we have a little look around now how are we looking for fog I feel like the never has fog normally anyway I’m not noticing anything too crazy oh my Lord oh no no don’t turn around don’t turn oh no what have you done to the gh’s face I don’t get it I don’t get it why have they done this to the faces and not mentioned it anywhere you’ve got realistic atmosphere you’ve got realistic fog HD sun and Moon and then you’ve got cartoon faces is very very weird it’s a bit it is immersion breaking now if this was a funny faces pack or something like that I’d love these faces these faces would be great they’re really funny they are funny faces but it’s I have to question is this the pack for it okay um wow wasn’t expecting that in terms of the atmosphere of the never it’s ominous and that is kind of what you would expect from the never you want to fear the never in my opinion it’s supposed to be the hell Dimension and it’s definitely ominous but look as the purple comes into sight or the actually yeah it’s purpley red isn’t it comes into sight that felt like a nice transition that did feel like a very very nice transition it does look good it the world looks good I’m not making any apologies for the faces I don’t like the faces in this pack but I would like those exact faces in a different pack it’s the overall presentation that matters let’s head to a fortress and see what the rest of the mobs look like but I don’t know if it’s the atmospheric fog or if it’s the color style but this Fortress if you go back not even too far like right there you would have to really be looking for that Fortress to see it which I suppose is definitely a win for the fog in my opinion cuz as you get closer yeah the atmospheric nature of this pack is very very nice you cannot deny that at all we’re going to come down here though again just still polished bricks this guy’s got a cracked neck and weird Bobby arms as well okay um I don’t know man why would you go such a comical effect for the mobs when you’ve gone so serious on everything else I’m not sure as we’ve got the blazes oh man I’m scared to look at this guy oh look at that oh my good Lord okay the face oh all right no their face isn’t too crazy his face isn’t too crazy all right I thought I saw something that I didn’t see his face does not look too crazy I like the smoke is there variation no no no no he looks the same okay that certain angle like right there maybe the face looks weird but it’s not too bad and then when you get to the Wither Skeleton what is going on why do you look sad your eyes are almost too big for your face it is just a flip of the white white skeleton which is what normal Minecraft is so you can’t really take it away again all right the Magma’s not too bad I don’t know why you’ve done this to the piglin face what about the hoglin hoglin doesn’t look too bad that’s cool we’ve got that little glitch where they don’t actually walk all right it’s a mixed bag it’s a mixed bag I got to be honest with you my defenses are up because of the faces on the mobs I don’t like them in this pack I like them but not in this pack um other than that again the atmosphere very very nice very very good I liked the way you could barely see The Fortress in the fog of the never that was very very good and I feel like it just adds that extra layer of exploration um and then for the rest of it not too many changes from base Minecraft which again is what you would expect let’s head over to the end and let’s see what the Ender Dragon looks like okay so we’re moving into the end now and W that was weird all right so compared to the ne I feel like endstone is a lot more noisier let’s get out of this little box oh wow uh what is going on oh my Lord what has happened to the void it’s like a graffiti overload I don’t like that I do not like that anything that lets you know that the void really is just a box I don’t like it man I do not like it at all this is just no no thank you no and and it’s everywhere as well other than that though looking at the Enderman again we saw him in the nether it was a very I like this color I like the color scheme his face looks nice he looks kind of scary kind of ominous I can’t get past this void this is crazy let’s try and get out of here quickly looking at the ender dragon keeps the same color style as the Enderman and as the End Stone Crystal we never look at these but that looks nice all right look at this guy he looks like or she looks like sorry that she is molten laa very very hot right here it’s a nice color scheme in my opinion it’s been a while since we last saw an Ender Dragon where the color scheme was completely changed she looks very very nice the tail is this has to be my world the tail was broken in every pack she looks nice though I have to get out of here I hate oh my Lord let me go here let me go here here we go uh no here yeah right here we see less of it I hate the void the void is disgusting what have you done to that void just changing things that you wouldn’t expect to be changed other than that though the Ender Dragon looks nice Enderman looks nice and you know what endstone might be a little bit noisy but it’s not terrible no real sign of fog and I really really wish there was fog here let’s head over to the ancient city and see what the warden looks like so as always just light up the world and let’s have a little look at the ancient city so immediately we’ve got blue skull not too much drastically changed from the ancient city it’s very polished though it looks like a very clean structure it’s very easy on the eye I do like that the blocks I I you know what I I do like this smooth polished nature the clean blocks they look so good they look very high definition in my opinion I think what we’re going to have to do is just get this Warden out here and let’s just hope that it doesn’t have a goofy face all right so here we go we have a warden spawning immediately I like the color design oh no he’s got a weird face why does he have a weird face no so I was I was going to say I really like the color palette I really liked how it looked in general it’s not too drastically changed from vanilla Minecraft but it’s definitely smoother but then why have you put that goofy DWP face on him oh I don’t know I do not know I you know what I had good I had a good feeling about this Textra pack I really really did even though it was only rated a 3.3 from about 100 reviews I really did think this was going to be a strong texture pack and I really want to find a Shader pack that like recently that I really really like so far my go-to is still realism shades when it comes to Shader is packs I really like realism Shades everything else just comes up short for me in terms of this pack as a Shader pack I’d give it I’d give it a high seven the fog the atmosphere the world the animations nothing is overbearing nothing changes to Crazy it still looks very very nice I would call it very very good as a texture pack I think it brings it down to like a five or a six I think we I’m going to settle on a seven and lean into the Shader side of it more than the texture side of it I hate the faces in this texture pack if it was a goofy texture pack I would love the faces the faces would look really really good but you’ve gone for immersive experience you’ve gone for realism you’ve gone for realistic you’ve gone for high definition and then you’ve gone for goofy I don’t think it adds the character that you were expecting it to add I think it takes away from the experience in my opinion um M might be wrong though let me down let me know down in the comments I love to read when people think differently from me and it always proves that I’m wrong to be honest with you you guys are the Geniuses down in the comments and I love to see your opinions of it um but as a sh pack I think it’s a nice Shader pack I do I like the Sky Box I like the fog I like the atmosphere I like the animations nothing’s too crazy nothing’s too out there nothing’s like overbearing taking your eyes and I just remember two things about the fog and the the World building looking at The Outpost from afar looked very ominous very very intriguing and interesting and looking at the foress looked very very intriguing as well so I like that about it so I’m going to settle on a seven the Shader aspects look good the texture pack aspects take away from it in my opinion let me know
