Did you know in bedrock edition there’s a hack to allow named locations to be put on a map you’re going to need a cartography table an empty map a glass pane and color concrete of your choice now go to the top of whatever you want to name And just take the color concrete of your choice and name it for example house base spawn we’re going to get rid of this later but for now just type out whatever you want it to say now take your empty map open it to reveal the name i have spawn at the top You’re going to go to the cartography table keep in mind once you do this you can never change the way that the map looks again this specific map you can always make a new map okay so we’re going to put the map in the top we’re going to put our glass pane there Now it’s a locked map and we’re just going to click it and there we go now we have our location locked where it says spawn simply erase all of your writing and check your map again and you’re going to see the writing is still there hope this helps Video Information

Full tutorial on How To Name Locations On A Map in minecraft bedrock edition (MCPE/Xbox/PS4/Switch/Windows10) survival world. This method uses a cartography table to lock maps in place after we have named our locations using colored concrete above the areas we want to name. Java has this ability already by naming banners, but us Bedrock players needed a workaround to get map markers, so here it is.
This video was recorded on my xbox series X in the 1.17 version of the bedrock beta but also applies to 1.18.
