$10 vs $10,000 OVERNIGHT SURVIVAL CHALLENGE

Today we’re doing a ten dollar versus ten thousand dollar overnight survival challenge you guys are gonna love this video because we’re actually doing four different budget challenges within this video to complete the overnight survival challenge for the first budget challenge we are doing survival shelters we’re

Each going to take a turn dropping the ball down the plinko board and whatever money amount you land on is the budget you get to build your shelter it’s not just justin and i we’re here with isaac andrew you dropped first i’m imagining a five is gonna be in the near future

A little gazebo type deal so just get 12 of these and just make a big cube and then cover it in some tarp or something five dollars for this oh we got to get green it’s either going to be the floor or i cut it in half and have the wall i spent

All my budget on these three things all the lumber cost me 40 bucks so i still have 60 so i can get four of these and hopefully that’ll be enough to cover all the walls i have a thousand dollars i’m gonna buy two of these massive industrial sized shelves because i want

To make my survival shelter two stories why am i helping you i say some of his budget should go to labor yeah these each being 340 that equals 680 meaning i still have money left because i need to build some walls to make sure it’s secure from the storms

The shelves aren’t really that comfortable so i’m thinking using these like foam tiles i’m on sale too i’ll take them all i probably lined the outside with walls so it’s like a big luxurious structure we’re back from the store with all our shelter supplies it’s

Time to get building we got to build our shelters before we can move on to the next budget challenge [Applause] so i’m gonna do a big ol cube frame hopefully gonna put up some of these walls i’m gonna set up my two shelves and make a two-story layer as you can

See they have five shelves i think i’m gonna remove this one move this one you got the second story i got one built now i gotta build another one just to show you how sturdy this is this is sort of like my go-to cheap shelter you get some paracord wrapped

Around some trees then you build like a frame curse you low budget this is my type of build no tools required all i need to do is slide these little metal pieces into the other brackets holds itself together ah money the ladder you know it’s free

In the woods sticks two going down this way that should give enough support if it doesn’t work well this is a pretty tough one-man job these are eight feet tall so i can’t even reach the top of them i’m literally almost done with my build and i’ve only

Been doing this for about 10 minutes yes i’m almost done with my build isaac you ever done a fort in walmart in the shelves no you guys you have to somehow prop this one up well then i also stand this one up and then prop this one up

Guys i never really worked any kind of construction so please don’t make fun of me oh what the heck that will do look man i gotta get back to my build one of these games looking bad you should the cube i got this set up now

Tiles well i got the plastic initially on it’s not real wind resistant putting a little bit of a mess two half walls no roof no floor flooring installed guys this is turning out a lot better than i thought and probably cut a hole in the ceiling so i could climb up to the

Second story three half walls basically i’m gonna be safe from any wildlife overnight i have all the nice breeze coming through this is all coming together very huh oh shoot it’s all blown away what’s going on it all fell off all right now i’m going to put a piece

Of plywood over here so that way i have a roof so i’ve taken out one of the flooring pieces i’m going to cut off this end that way i can crawl from the first floor up to the second floor dude perfect crap is this

Put a little angle to it so we got now kind of a sloped roof going hey dustin are you gonna need these boxes if you want them you can have them look at that guys that is perfect oh my gosh dude i can’t see we are all

Done building our shelters time to start with andrew who had the lowest budget look at what i have built the only flaw is that it’s not very wind resistant climb on it this kind of reminds me of those uh like rainbow tarps as a kid you’d throw up

And like sit under it i never threw up in them but i know what you mean oh yeah i threw up all the time it’s pretty decent right and we have a little like holes here for some just airflow but all in all this side is pretty much closed

Up so is this gonna be open all night yeah no just so i don’t suck big plastic bag oh that’s smart i think it’s pretty waterproof as well i am impressed andrew oh bro you just wrecked it stop pull your foot out slowly get out you’re not

Welcome back i gotta do some quick repairs you completely unfasten the wall next up we have isaac who had the medium budget i built a beautiful gazebo i’m actually pretty excited about how it turned out we even have a roof it’s sloped so if it does rain it’ll just go

And it looks pretty nice i thought i can stand up in yours that was my main goal all right justin you got the big baller budget as you can see the outside is solidified with plywood because this is a two-story jump port i got a door here

A little worried about the size of this hole this is the first floor i’m hoping as well that i get a big baller amount for comfort entertainment food this is going to be the entertainment zone i don’t want to sleep down here don’t want to be close to the ground because bugs that’s

Why i built it upstairs we are now on the second story safe from bugs bears and any other weird sasquatches outside oh gosh spider literally now it’s time to move on to phase two which is comfort and entertainment and go first five five five five five five five five five five [Applause] i took your number [Applause] i’m gonna make this the best most entertaining five dollars i’ve ever spent yeah come on andrew you can do it don’t encourage him get a good one come on so i got 50 bucks 2500 for this guy and five i’m trying to decide if i want to

Go full comfort or full entertainment or 50 50. we’ve got sleeping bags i’m trying to start if i’m gonna go sleeping bag and pillow or if i want to go like blankies and pillows first thing i’m gonna get is this sweet looking tech tip i’m actually pretty good at

Fingerboarding and so i might have to give you a little sneak peek later on i found this cashmere blanket it’s a hundred and twenty dollars throw it in sure i’m gonna grab all these i’m not finding anything that cheap i mean this towel is twelve dollars we have to spend

The night in these little forts so i think i’m going to go with this nice tough and neat mattress i’ll give you 200 of my budget you can somehow transport that wait why does andrew get that i can transport things well arm wrestle for it isaac i have a

Proposal if you give me twenty dollars from your budget okay the next plinko board drop whatever amount i get i will give you half of it half of the whole drop for just 20 bucks sounds like a deal to me all right yes i mean i could get a low baller

About getting an air mattress and then i found this it’s only three dollars i want to find a game that i can look forward to playing these things look kind of cool a dinosaur excavator this blanket is on sale for six dollars really good deal guys we’re not kidding right now isaac

Literally fell asleep over here in the chair isaac my man fell asleep back from the store with all of our comfort and entertainment time to get our shelters decorated you guys don’t really have much to decorate yeah i only had 25 dollars pal yeah i well i didn’t

Have much either step one inflate my mattress step two install blanket step three install lights and step four set up the entertainment oh yeah Guys i am mega bummed i had so many big plans for my shelter such a little budget for my pillow i got this three dollar uh pool seat thankfully i was able to have enough money to get some lights i got a blanket and then i also got an activity for some entertainment

This is gonna be a great pillow tonight i have these awesome led changing lights i’m gonna hang them up here on the second story we’re making really good progress here on my horse hut oh purple that clashes you can’t see this on camera but it is slowly starting to

Rain right now me and andrew already done so i think we might be safe from the rain isaac might be in trouble this is really nice i am nice and dry in here and i am so comfy i got the nice lights oh i could sleep right now take an afternoon nap

Right off the edge they got a they got like a plastic on the outside as long as these don’t get fully soaked i think we’ll be good for the night so far so good guys inside of my shelter is completely dry aside from this wall

But that’s not a problem as long as it doesn’t get me wet we’re good guys my drainage was working but these plants are actually making it drain right into the bed we must have snacks keep in mind whatever budget justin gets he has to give 50 of that to isaac

Cool how about the sun’s down see all my lava lamps it’s gonna be a vibey overnight this seriously looks like a uh airbnb gazebo like in the middle of the jungle i would stay here i’d pay [Applause] oh this will definitely sustain me overnight but i’m gonna be hungry beverage time

I have no other food so if we can’t figure out the grill how it works i’m gonna starve i’m so did you turn on the switch i smell gas we got flames got my glitters and my blizzos we’re gonna have a little cookout what’s good about right now guys

Attack and defense way of going about things with these knuckle sharp punchers not sure what they’re called that’s the official but on top of that i got a bonus item this thing for my survival weapons i got one ranged unit this is the slingshot whoa if i’m shooting i’m getting some

Good hits or missing doesn’t matter but the target’s still coming what if it gets close i ditched that whoa nunchucks ah oh is that foam yeah no i was also thinking long range weaponry so i got this super sick pack of cards i get attacked i can defend myself
