100 Players Simulate Civilization TRAPPED on a Space Ship in Minecraft

Many a civilization has arisen from the wilderness only to fall in a blaze of glory or a pile of ashes be it during the stone age middle ages or the nuclear age the trajectory of civilization does not differ greatly from age to age history doesn’t usually repeat itself but it often rhymes

Now several hundred years in the future or perhaps a long time ago a group of players is thrown into an entirely new scenario with a whole new set of challenges to overcome in this video i present a new social experiment the spaceship scenario 100 players are trapped on a massive spaceship stranded millions of miles from civilization their ships suffered a malfunction during the ftl transit between planets causing it to revert to real space with many critical systems heavily damaged will the players be able to successfully repair their ship and

Get underway once more or will they succumb to the dangers of outer space and slowly go mad as they watch their crewmates fall all around them to attempt to fix the ship players can scavenge materials from various resource rooms and mob spawners located throughout the vessel however they also

Have to contend with an unexpected invincible guest on board with them I added a morale system to the game that will automatically enable pvp if it drops 30 points and will trigger the losing scenario if it drops 80 points failing tests and dying will lower the morale score and since the event is in hardcore if you die then you’re dead The game started out with 100 players on the server but part way through the event i was forced to lower the player cap due to the performance dying with so many players confined to a 400 block long map if you want to explore a version of this

Ship the players began to disperse to various different regions some of them stayed around in the hangar to examine the task board to see what has to be done first but many of them just ran right into the back of the ship finding rooms such as the reactor room and the

Armory one this one person found the armory it’s very lucky it gets first pick of all the gear to be had in here a few players wasted no time in finding one of the first mining rooms as well although one person found a room that

Has some mining in it but it’s not the mining room i think they uh a little bit confused with the kind of room that it was to be fair they can break spruce logs so it’s not like that’s illegal meanwhile back in the main hangar the players who stayed there instead of

Leaving were probably regretting their decision as the invincible aliens showed up at that point and started chasing them around wreaking a little bit of mayhem most of the players were able to run away from it except for this one poor person here by the name of zizzi

Oh and there they both go i think i might need to respawn that alien one new alien later a group of players who weren’t getting chased around by the alien quite yet were happily fishing and or swimming in the hangar deflector shield that uh it’s interesting that that works out but it

Does in fact they were just having a good time just kind of chilling a bunch of other players were all the way at the back of the ship actually in the tail you could call it the tail a large group of them were making their way up through

The ship on their way to the command bridge to go and see what’s what a bunch of stuff will show up there later however most of it isn’t really there at the moment nevertheless this did not deter the small army of crew members and soldiers who arrived at the command bridge

And who should reappear in the main hangar bay but our old friend the invincible alien back to chase around and terrorize the players who still had not left and this time the attempted victims of the spider would be the group of players who had been swimming in the hangar deflector shield

They actually did a really good job comboing it into a corner and just went went to town on it for like a solid 10 seconds keeping it in the corner but of course it is invincible so it did not work out in the long run and it eventually

Escaped while all the spider fighting was happening one of the soldiers who happened to have a very nice 212th clone super skin and or commander cody skin was just hanging out in an att in the interior and several other players were making their way through one of the secret passageways they’re scattered

Throughout the ship and in fact one of these players nick redstone would be the first person to make it all the way to the front of the ship past the blocked off nether portal and into the custom another biome of course making it to that is no mean

Feat you have to go through a lot of secret passageways to actually get there and once you get there you have to not die to the blazes or walk in the fire or fall in the lava which i mean if you’re not asleep at the keyboard it’s

Not too hard it only took one blade skill for them to get their first blaze rod and it wouldn’t take long either for more players to arrive to help out with the gathering mc creeper over here was using an item launcher to launch themselves into a water stream inside of the items they’re

A little bit confused but they got the spirit by this time the resource room locations were pretty common knowledge and players were going to and from both of them to get various resources from the one with the wood you can also get food and crafting supplies and then of

Course we’ve got the other resource room that’s got all of the ores and stuff both of which happen to be on a five-minute timer and speaking of five-minute timers this one just tripped right here and refilled the ore mining room just in time for a ton of players

To arrive and begin stripping it of resources once more the reactor room was seen as small but steady trickled players run by the objective to see about potentially fixing it and the traffic would only increase with time as players got more and more resources A small group of players were conducting a science experiment at the back of the ship involving what they thought was an entrance to the ventilation system because there were trap doors that you could use to go into crawl mode unfortunately for them uh those trapdoors were for decoration and that

Opening right there is actually the unused opening to the unused item sorting system which is still present in the back of the ship in other words that person required a bit of rescuing the player who didn’t require rest green though was mc creeper as they decided

Wisely not to plunge into the pit of guardians and salmon i mean the salmon aren’t a problem but there’s a lot of guardians down there that might not be advisable to swim next to so instead they ran back into the engineering room for the engine and we’re gonna just

Assume there’s no like radiation or anything back there clearly a five minute timer is way too long when confronted with a small army of players like we see here at the ore mining room as they completely stripped it and had to wait for several minutes just for it to reappear so they could

Begin to process over again [Applause] Not all players were in the resource mining rooms though and not all of them were getting chased around by the spider and the hangar some of them had struck out on their own and were exploring the upper levels of the ship for various resources scattered around in item frames

This one player in particular decided to go on a super long journey through the network of secret passageways all the way from probably the second or third highest level to almost the opposite end of the ship using just secret passageways throughout the event several players took up the

Role of good samaritan and decided to use a bunch of the resources gathered from the mining rooms to block off the falling hazard that is the bottom hanger but those good samaritans also had their counterparts and other players who purposely stood next to the edge of the hangar wielding fishing rods attempting to

Fishing rod people into the void but anyways moving on another sub-group of the players were to be found happily playing among us simulator running into and out of the vents at various points across the ship and even a few of them decided to do a bit of food sharing like the good

Roommates that they are Poor bob jr little did he know that he was about to be subjected to the very embarrassing fate of getting stuck in a boat for like three minutes meanwhile at the very front of the ship in the nether room we find obi-wan kenobi himself judging by the skin

Battling the blazes in a desperate attempt to acquire the blaze rods necessary to fix the ship it looks like the desperation translated over a little bit to the attempted climbing of this ladder elevator or the uh the lack of climbing that we see demonstrated One very brave player decided to exit the secret passageway vents at the underwater exit in the guardian pond which i must admit i was not expecting due to the obvious danger posed by that attempt i was not expecting a giant spider statue in the front of the ship to get

Erected either but i was happy to see that the players had almost finished blocking off the entire bottom hangar unbeknownst to most of the players a small but super kitted out group of people have been forming in the very back of the ship in my original living

Quarters on the venator when it was a survival base which means that it happens to have a lot of useful things which is probably why they were there actually you know what they’re probably just there for the oxolotl aquarium they didn’t remain there to admire the oxolotl aquarium for very long though as

Along with a bunch of other players they made their way to the reactor room specifically to the reactor fixing objective and it looked like they had some plans in mind to attempt to fix it which they executed not long afterward after doing a bit of clustering around

At the opening one player by the name of polynuclear chucked in some redstone blocks and some blaze rods in the first reactor fixing attempt And in fact it was the only reactor fixing an attempt because it succeeded on the first try the first task had been completed with only one attempt they were also able to enable the reactor with the newly formed lever that appeared on the control panel that lever

Also activated a beacon which gave all players nearby resistance too before everyone had even had a chance to take a look at the task board a player had already made an attempt to fix the engines which succeeded first try as well they were now two tasks done

In addition to turning on the beacon the lever that was flipped in the reactor room also enabled players to turn on power to other ship systems so that they could be fixed such as gravity and lights many players had had a chance to stop by the task board to see what had

To be done next and what had to be done next in fact was gravity and light fixing two different groups of players formed pretty early on one with the goal of fixing gravity one with the goal of fixing lights and each task requires some different items so they were able

To maximize their efforts by splitting up to get different stuff after a bunch of resource gathering a group of players began attempting to fix gravity by throwing in a bunch of melons among other things however this would go down as their first failed attempt at fixing the task thereby lowering the

Morale by one point another attempt was made which also failed bringing the total morale lowered by gravity to two but on the third attempt they would succeed thereby clearing every one of their effects and returning everything to normal which also includes fall damage they can’t just jump down elevator shops now right

After they fixed the gravity i was forced to go and break a few command blocks not related to gravity but related to the power being restored someone was spamming the lever and filling up the chat with power restored as one player put it we get it

I think the power is restored now yup you guys in chat are right it is restored like two dozen times right on the heels of fixing gravity an attempt was made at fixing the lights which unfortunately failed the first time but that wasn’t the only thing lowering

Morale as one of the players wearing one of the 212th clone trooper skins unfortunately met their untimely end at the hands of bob jr as they were trapped in a secret passageway a large group of players also discovered that the map was built with blast furnaces that they could use to smelt

Stuff instead of the nasty furnaces i provided them which was probably smart and was probably the best use those blast furnaces were ever put to it certainly weren’t worth it for the decoration i’ll tell you guys that don’t ever build with blast furnaces in survival it’s not worth it i’ve made

Like 4 000 of them that just don’t do it many attempts at fixing the lights later they were able to succeed at the cost of a large amount of morale however at the very least they can see pretty well now After the death of that one 212th clone trooper member bob jr decided to go into a bit of retirement in the corner of the resource mining room for oars even when he was blocked in and people tried to start hitting him he literally did not care just happy to sit up there and

Chill in a tiny little spot despite the best efforts of players they were unable to hit bob either and they contented themselves with mining while a large group of other players decided to block off and fill in the entire guardian pond which was probably a good idea it’s just not something i expected

But they successfully trapped the guardians underneath everything eventually bob was pulled out of retirement and into a block for like a minute and a half it was very unfortunate for bob just sat there suffocating in the ore room until a hapless player mined into them and freed the spider which immediately

Did what spiders who are invincible dude they went on a rampage and chased several players halfway across the map A small group of players who were kitted out and had a diamond armor and been collecting a bunch of resources it holds themselves up in the secondary command bridge technically the flight deck for the hangar where several of the other tasks were located the next task after gravity and lights they made several

Attempts to fix it but after several failed attempts and a few random deaths the pvp was about to be enabled this caused a flurry of distress in the chat quickly followed by multiple deaths petty squabbles broke out among large groups of players that resulted in various deaths from time to time but

Players on their own were not much safer either as they were likely to be picked off some players even decided that it would be a good idea to start hanging around the escape pod just in case that morel dropped another 41 points down to the abandoned ship

While some players had taken to hiding in various nooks and crannies in the vents an interesting situation developed in the back of the ship from on the three different levels of sorting system one player hold themselves up all the way at the back a bunch of other players

Were on a different level they were all pretty much kitted down iron and on a level above them was the diamond armor players but the iron armor players also had managed to capture bob jr in a boat again with the morale dropping into the teens from the ever present pvp deaths and a

Couple more task failures many players were congregating in the general area around the escape pod room including on the levels above it but then without any warning a catastrophe struck the light suddenly shut off again leaving everyone in darkness a large number of players began erecting a wall around at the

Escape pod room presumably to fend off the horde of players who would be arriving shortly meanwhile a small contingent of them were still extracting food from the one of the resource rooms and one brave soul decided to make their own personal castle in the meng hangar bay props to this guy

But with their morale dropping under 10 and so many players in the escape pod room small scuffles started to break out further dropping the morale and bringing them closer to their doom eventually all hope was lost and they accepted their fate all they could hope

To do was make it into the escape pod and survive the explosion Foreign this concludes our social experiment or does it while many of the players did not make it off the ship around 15 to 20 of them did manage to get to the escape pod before the explosion and now you’re probably wondering what happened to those players now well neither of us
