Hello everybody my name is 101 DT broadcast gaming aka the bluebelly praana and today I’m going to show you all how to make a potion of swiftness in Minecraft 1.9 this is Minecraft 1.9 – fully compatible with all other minecraft 1.9 versions now you very quickly switch to game-mode survival Alright so I’ve got all the ingredients that you need here so let’s take them all out this is how you make a full effect potion of swiftness so first of all what you need to do is you see you’ve got the blade right here you need To put it in your inventory or a crafting table and you can get the police powder and they all come back here thank you this wolf you’ll see once you put it in it will this bar here will fill up and this is basically like the Bar and once this bar goes to zero then like or once this bar runs out well then you have to burn with a blaze powder end so now what I’m gonna do is I’m going to put all these water bottles in we’re going to turn this into an awkward Potion which is the first step to making a swiftness potion so what you do is you put the nether wart in and you wait for it to do its bubbly thing hello so yeah that’s pretty much it until until we’ve got the awkward potion that should hurry Up and then as you can see when this goes thank you it gives a little sound effect but the bar hasn’t gone down that’s because it’s only like an awkward potion it will go down when you make things like potions of swiftness or potions of fire resistance or strength Or something so the next step is you leave your Awkward potions in there then you put your sugar inside then you wait and now I’m if I’m correct the bar will go down very slightly and once that buyers at zero I said this before but I’ll say it again Once that bars at zero you’re gonna have to find a new place powder so yeah whoa sorry folks who just had to cough all right we’re done yes we have done and that Bart’s gone very slightly how’s it yeah I think it has all right See now you’ve got to you’re a potion of swiftness that’s that’s like you can drink this now if you want and it will give you a speed boost wait let me just shrink it see and now you can see I’m faster but that’s not it if you want to see how to Make it longer then you put redstone in and you can do this for three and it will still cost the same amount like you can put one in but you could also put three in and it will cost the same amount of resources so I’d always recommend putting three in so yeah Because otherwise you’re kind of wasting resources you know you can see the bards gone down yet our bars almost certainly gone down all right now you can see it is longer than what it was before so now this one will last for eight minutes themself three minutes and now if you Want to make it smash so you can affect multiple people then you put gunpowder in then this will turn to a splash potion so yeah and I believe you can also put glowstone as well but I put redstone well you couldn’t 1.8 but yeah This is 1.9 now so yeah put this in and this will be splash the time will go down and yeah I know it doesn’t go down that’s strange it used to go down and all right as you can now see you could jump and splash this on multiple people you could even Splash this on a sheep if you want it to go okay all the sheeps now got a swiftness on him so yeah that’s basically it so that is how you make a splash potion of swiftness if you enjoyed it I really appreciate it if you did leave a like or if you learned Something new please also leave a like and tell me what you’re gonna use the splash potion or swiftness potion for so I’ll thank you overnight for watching and I’ll see you next time thanks bye just go there bye Video Information

Hello everybody my name is 101DTBroadcastGaming and today I am going to show you all how to make a potion of swiftness in Minecraft 1.9 this includes extending it with redstone for added effect. Potions of swiftness make you faster including swiftness 1 and swiftness 2 swiftness 1 lasts longer but swiftness 2 makes you go faster. The wiki says about brewing: By placing one or more bottles in the lower three slots of the brewing interface, an ingredient in the upper slot, and blaze powder in the fuel slot, you can distill the ingredient into each bottle and brew potions which may be consumed to grant an effect to the player.
Every potion starts with a water bottle, made by filling a glass bottle at a water source or filled cauldron. Using blaze powder, the next step is to add a primary ingredient to create a base potion, which is usually Nether Wart, which creates an awkward potion and has no effects. By brewing a second ingredient into a base potion in the same manner, you can create a potion with a working effect. A third ingredient may be added to make the effect more intense or last longer, or turn the effect harmful. Gunpowder can be added to a potion at any stage to convert it to a splash potion, which can be thrown (or fired using a dispenser) to disperse its effect in a radius. Finally, dragon’s breath can be added to a splash potion to convert it to a lingering potion, which can be used to disperse its effect in a bubble. Each brewing step takes 20 seconds.
Each blaze powder used as fuel provides 20 fuel points. It costs 1 fuel point to start brewing one ingredient; this fuel point is not recovered if the brewing is halted due to removing the ingredient or the potions being brewed into.Base ingredients are the starting point of all potions. Nether Wart is the primary ingredient added to water bottles at this stage, as it is required to make most of the potions. Fermented Spider Eye allows making a Potion of Weakness. All other base ingredients do not allow making anything useful.Secondary ingredients imbue an Awkward Potion with a particular effect but do not alter potion duration or intensity. When added directly to a water bottle, any of these ingredients will produce a Mundane Potion (with the exception the golden carrot, which can’t be brewed into a water bottle to make a potion). Modifiers change the potion’s properties. The “longer duration” and “more potent” versions of a potion can be forever interchanged.A “corrupted” potion usually does the opposite of the original potion. Potions of Invisibility are considered a “corrupted” version of the Potions of Night Vision. All primary potions are created by brewing a single ingredient with a water bottle. All potions can be combined with gunpowder to create splash potions. Instead of seeing at maximum brightness, you turn invisible.Tertiary potions are created by brewing an ingredient with a secondary potion or another tertiary potion and can be combined with gunpowder to create their throwable splash potion counterparts. Swiftness extended is: Nether Wart → Sugar → Redstone
