Oh yeah what’s going on everybody my internet semi working today for now how’s it going how’s everybody doing we ready for some twitch rivals it’s been a while it’s been a while since i’ve been in twitch rivals i’m not like you know the best minecraft speedrunner on the planet but we have fun

And i get to hang out with some different peeps today usually i’m with like jevin and hypno and those dudes cub fan but today i get to hang out with false and iskall in stress which is awesome we’ve kind of shaken the teams up a little bit said you know forget about

This north america versus europe we’re hermits let’s shake them up and see how we do and so today’s gonna be a little different it’s gonna be fun uh twitch rivals is cool if you guys don’t know what it is it’s there’s like 20 teams of four we’re gonna be competing in like

Five different game mode styles in minecraft to see who’s the best on the block [Laughter] and uh and there’s some prize money on the line there’s some there’s there’s sixty thousand dollar prize pool uh so depending on where we place we could get a little taste of some of that moolah

But we’re not going to be ultra competitive today i think uh we we mainly want to just have some fun and uh yeah i mean we’re all competitive of course but you know we’re not gonna go crazy uh you know we’re just gonna have some fun and hang out together and and uh

All right false is gonna be competitive i’m along for the ride i’m going to let her carry on what block what type of block uh we’ll say quartz we’ll say of course it’s best block in minecraft right so internet today is looking it’s looking good all right uh internet story

This week okay here’s the song you want the saga we got a few minutes saturday i had a dunkin stream playing mario kart about halfway through that stream my internet just tanked and i had like one megabit per second upload speed and that’s not enough to stream at least not

At a decent quality anyway and so i had to cut out midstream and sunday i was checking the internet it was back to normal so i thought oh they must have just been doing some maintenance on it or whatever everything’s fine streamed monday monday stream was great perfect quality internet was fine

Tuesday rolls around it was time for skizzleman and i to do a naked and scared season 23 kickoff live on twitch and as i was talking to him in voice on discord he noticed i was real body checked my internet it was bad again back down to like one meg

So had to cancel that stream of course i was pretty upset so at that moment i called cox communications which is my internet service provider said come on you know come on out to my my place and figure out what’s up with my internet i also checked with my neighbor and he was

Getting the same problem same issue so when the cox dude came i said look there’s no need to come in my house the internet issue is on the for the entire neighborhood and so he went out and checked the uh the outside bits and he came to me afterwards and he’s like

It’s bad it’s bad i ran all sorts of tests and you’re getting 30 packet loss and all sorts of other issues he mentioned and he’s like since it’s affecting the whole neighborhood i’m gonna put in an emergency order but it’s still gonna take him a few days and i’m like dude

I got a competition tomorrow i gotta be in twitch rivals there’s money on the line can’t do anything better than that no so i’m still waiting for them to come actually fix the neighborhood until then i’m like on in this internet that’s on shaky ground it could it could go it

Could go in the middle of the stream um so if if all of a sudden we start getting buffering and i’ll look over and i’ll see some drop frames and stuff i don’t know what’s gonna happen i don’t know what’s gonna happen in order for me to participate fully in twitch rivals i

Have to be live like 100 of the time well maybe not a hundred but anytime i’m in the match i have to be live i think it’s their way of like making sure i’m not like cheating or something so if internet goes down and i’m going to

Let my team down i’m like i’m more nervous about the internet than i am about the actual competition like i told my wife before we started i’m like i got this like pit in my stomach that i that i don’t usually get before these things and this is this is

Mainly due to like me not knowing if my internet’s gonna hold out for this so and this event could go like four hours potentially so that’s that’s a little nerve-racking right i don’t have a hot spot and it’s upload speed that’s hard that’s hard to do uh it’s it’s hard to do so
