Hey guys, I wanted to showcase some more mods for Minecraft 1.16.5, that I either haven’t mentioned before, or are relatively new. I know this version is still somewhat popular, but a lot of these mods will be available for other versions too. You can find the link to download these in the description below. A while ago, I showcased a video on how you can turn Minecraft into a Fallout game. And now I’ve found a mod that would go great alongside that pack. It’s called Bunker Down, and it will cause you to spawn in an underground bunker when you create a Minecraft world. They feature some new blocks, like Ceiling Lamps and Airlock Doors. They’re designed to promote living underground, and a new Crop is also added called Underroot, which can give Logs. If you install the Decorations and Furniture mod, then you can find over 500 new blocks and items added into Minecraft. These fit under lots of themes, like Roadworks, Storage, Shelves, Displays, Halloween items and more. Lots of these items have decorations too, so you can sit on chairs and store items in cabinets. Some other noteworthy features are some new variants of Melons and Pumpkins, as well as a new structure spawning in each dimension. Tax Ocean Villager adds some Ships to Minecrafts Ocean Biomes. There’s quite a few variations, and these might spawn passive mobs like Villagers, or hostile ones like Witches and Pillagers, On these Ships, you’ll often find lots of loot inside of Chests or Barrels. Some of them make up new NPCs entirely, having their own custom trades, like the Sailors and Captains. Either way, it makes those lifeless oceans more interesting to explore. Another mod to change Oceans is Endless Oceans, Aquatic Adventures. On the Ocean, you can find what looks like a Yacht, with an NPC on board. They can trade lots of Ocean-related items, but once they reach master level, they’ll trade Jet Skis. You can place these down on water, and apply a dye to them for some customization. 6 new creatures can also be found in Oceans, like Blue Whales, Spot Billed Pelicans, Bottlenose Dolphins and African Penguins, and more content is expected to come in the future. Villager Workers will allow you to hire workers who gather materials for you. To start, buy a profession block from a Villager like Farmers, Masons, Shepherds and Fisherman. When you place it down, an unemployed Villager will interact with it, becoming a worker. They’ll then need to be hired with Emeralds. By right clicking on a worker, they can be set to follow you. Sneaking and right clicking will allow you to open their inventory. In this example, I’ve hired a Farmer, who I can give Seeds and Water. It’ll then go and create farmland, and plant the Seeds, finally collecting the Wheat once it’s grown. You can hire Miners, Lumberjacks, Farmers, Fisherman, Merchants and Shepherds. Cold Sweat adds a temperature system into Minecraft, with your current temperature being Shown in the middle of the hotbar. Lots of factors can cause you to be hot or cold, like the biome you’re in, and the blocks that surround you. Some new items and blocks are introduced to help manage your temperature, like Waterskins, Ice Boxes, Boilers and Hearths. If you become too hot or cold without trying to mitigate it, then you’re going to take unavoidable damage, which will kill you. Timeless and Classics is a gun mod, and is mostly inspired by Mr Crayfish’s Gun Mod. It adds an assortment of weapons, like the DP28, Thompson, Kar-98K, RPG, Scar and a lot More. These guns already look really realistic, as they’re 3D and come pre-textured instead of being a flat color. Weapons have a recoil, and attachments can be applied like Scopes, Muzzles, Stocks and Grips to improve their overall accuracy. You can start crafting these weapons inside the Workbench provided by the mod, which makes It a simple process. In total, there’s over 60 weapons, making it one of the most comprehensive gun mods available. A mod that will change the Nether is Bygone Nether. Firstly, you can find some new structures, like the Catacombs, Citadel, Fortress and Piglin Manor. Hopefully, this will stop the Nether being a quick in and out experience, as they’re worth exploring for loot. You can also find some new mobs spawning, like the Warped Enderman, Piglin Hunters and Piglin Prisoners. Now, Netherite can be gilded inside a Smithing Table, and you can find more blocks like Warped Nether Bricks and some new Blackstone. Not a lot of information is given about the Adventure Structures mod. But it seems to add lots of locations to your world, which are full of hostile creatures. You might come across houses, dungeons, forts and more. These might be inhabited by mobs such as Chicken Warriors, Yetis and Creep Golems. You can find structures spawning in all different biomes, and there seems to be quite a lot included. These are made up of lots of new blocks, and you can also obtain the Chicken Armor set. Natural Decor will change a lot when it comes to the outdoors. Firstly, there’s all new plant-life which can be found throughout each biome. There’s new species of flowers, bushes, bundles, trees and cactus. Some other new biomes are included, like the Botany Fields, Shrublands and Wetlands. As you collect these new flowers, you can turn them into Bundles and Dyes, or display them inside some new Pots and Hanging Baskets. A few other items worth mentioning are new Walls, some decorative pavement blocks and Steve’s made from Hedges. Thanks to Mega Meteors, Meteors will randomly and rarely fall from the sky, with there being 9 different types. Depending on the type of Meteor that falls, different items can be obtained. As an example, equipment can be crafted from Metalite, Omega Crystals, Raritanium Chunks, Icenit Crystals and Firenit Crystals. Some armor sets will even allow you to fly. Eventually, you’ll be able to defend your world with Meteor Protectors. A few other items and creatures exist, and it might be fun to install this mod just for a challenge. Hex Lands is a new world preset that can be selected during the world creation process. With it selected, your world will be split up into hexagons. This effect can be activated in both the Overworld and Nether. Within each hexagon is a single biome, with them also being bordered by walls. The effects are definitely more noticeable in the Overworld, and who knows, maybe you’ll really like playing with this style of generation. Better Fishing Rods adds a few new Rods, each of which has its own ability, like giving Regeneration, Jump Boost, Emeralds and more when getting a catch. Each Rod can also be upgraded with a Lucky Pad, giving you the Luck Effect. Overtime, getting catches will level up your fishing rod, which enhances the ability of each rod. There’s a chance to fish up items like Enchantment Bundles, which can be opened to receive some Enchanted Books. With Guards Craft, you’ll want to craft the included recruitment desks, which allow you to summon melee and ranged guards. Inside, you can hire different Guards, like Swordsman, Lancers, Bowmen and more. These cost Crowns, which can be obtained by smelting Gold Nuggets. When you have purchased a Guard, you can place them down. They’ll take out any nearby hostile monsters. By interacting with them, you can make them stay or follow, and take up a defensive or offensive position. Eventually, you can have multiple Guards defending a base or Village, and the mod also includes some new weapons and defensive blocks. Cursery introduces 19 new Curses, which can be applied manually, but also have a chance of being applied through Enchanting. Some are the Curse of Explosion, which gives a chance for an item to create an explosion. Curse of the Undead can set you on fire in daylight. The Electrified Curse might summon a lightning strike which hurts you. And the Loose Curse might cause tools or weapons to be thrown on the ground instead of being used. But there’s a lot more, and it’s worth installing. I want to cover another video like this soon, which will showcase more mods for this version. In my recent poll, 20 percent of my audience said they’re still playing on Minecraft 1.16, but I’m always working on videos for the latest version too. Video Information
