In this video i bring you 25 things you didn’t know about crafting tables in minecraft like this video and subscribe to the channel if you want to see more videos like this oh and be sure to follow me on twitter and instagram to be up to date for when i post new videos Anyways on with the video the crafting table was added into minecraft in version in dev on january 30th in 2010 this means the crafting table is now turning 12 years old which is absolutely crazy to me man the first ever crafting recipe added into minecraft was definitely a strange one so crafting was First introduced in minecraft in dev and the first ever crafting recipe was a recipe for the arrow now to craft this arrow you would need eight apples in the shape of a chess plate like this yep i’m not joking guys this was the crafting recipe that started it all isn’t it just Beautiful back in the earlier days of minecraft in the alpha and beta days of the game the crafting table used to be extremely painful to break this was because breaking it with an axe made no difference to the braking speed which meant it took ages man okay i’m probably Being a little dramatic but it did take quite a while but then in version beta 1.9 a change was made to where you could break crafting tables with an axe which i’m sure every single player was happy about the smithing table is a block in minecraft that players can use to Upgrade their diamond tools and armor into the more powerful netherrite type now the smithing table currently looks like this but when it was first added in minecraft 1.14 it used to look like this now as you can see the old texture for the smithing table definitely closely resembles their crafting table texture Which likely meant this was a placeholder texture before being changed before crafting tables were added into minecraft players couldn’t well craft okay okay i’m joking well sort of so before crafting tables were a thing the only way players could craft was by pressing the b key on their keyboard That’s right pressing b meant players could use a 3×3 crafting grid to craft items anywhere they wanted to which now that i think about it made minecraft slightly easier because you didn’t even need a crafting table man back in the earlier days of minecraft pocket edition which is now known as bedrock edition Players were not able to craft stone-related blocks using the crafting table instead players on pocket edition had to craft their beloved stone blocks by using an old variant of the stone cutter now the old stone cutter looks like this and i’m sure many pocket edition players are getting very Nostalgic just seeing this block anyways moving on the crafting table can be used as fuel to smell items in a furnace now a single crafting table is capable of smelting a whopping total of 1.5 items which is absolutely crazy i know honestly just stick to using coal if you Are ever in a situation where you look underneath the crafting table you’ll instantly notice that the bottom texture is using the same texture as the oak planks texture i said texture quite a lot just then anyways let’s carry on wait what was i saying again oh yeah the Bottom part of the texture is the same as the oat planks texture but back in the earlier days of minecraft in the early versions of in-dev the bottom texture for the crafting table was actually different that’s right looking underneath the crafting table in indev would bless the player with the oak log Texture instead which looks extremely weird being on a crafting table but fair enough have you guys ever taken some time out of your day to just look and admire the crafting table no just me well if you are as weird as me you’ll notice that the crafting table texture Features a hammer a saw and some pliers now to me this has always been kind of strange also i always thought those pliers were a creeper face and i feel lied to after all these years man anyways do you think any of these tools should be added into minecraft if so let Me know in the comments which one you think it should be and why oh my god do you guys remember back to a time where whenever you leave items in the crafting grid after crafting they’d just be thrown on the floor when you exited the crafting interface now it wasn’t Insanely annoying actually you know what it was because there was a chance your diamonds could just go flying into the lava after closing the crafting grid which would just ruin your year to be honest okay sure 90 of that would be your fault and 10 the game but it was Still in the game so i can kind of blame it but yeah in version 1.12 a change was made to where closing the crafting interface would now return any items that you left inside the crafting grid to your inventory which was a change i welcomed with open arms let me tell you If you remember when the crafting table was called the workbench then you are a minecraft veteran that’s right from minecraft alpha to beta 1.1 the crafting table was officially known as the workbench however since version beta 1.2 we have called it the crafting table and it’s remained that way ever since and i Love it back in the earlier days of minecraft bedrock edition the smithing table used to be crafted by using one crafting table and one cobblestone however in minecraft today it no longer uses the crafting table as the smithing table is now crafted with four planks And two iron ingots not only that but in minecraft bedrock edition the fletching table was originally crafted with one crafting table as well and one arrow but yeah in minecraft today the fletching table is crafted with four planks and two flint the crafting table has gone through many small texture changes so When the crafting table was first added into minecraft it looked like this which looking back at it now is a very nostalgic texture but then in an early 1.14 snapshot it was changed to look like this but that didn’t last very long as it was slightly changed again in a Later snapshot for 1.14 but that didn’t last very long either as finally in 1.14.1 the crafting table was changed for a final time to look like this and it’s remained that way ever since the crafting table is able to naturally generate within a few structures in minecraft and those are as follows first Of all crafting tables will generate within a witch-hunt which is pretty cool secondly a crafting table can be generated within the basement of an igloo structure which is very lovely next up you can find some crafting tables in some small village houses which is mind-blowing i know who would Have thought villagers would have crafting tables what are you looking at i was complimenting you then finally a crafting table is able to be generated within the tents that generate outside the pillager outpost so if you’re good at crafting that tent be careful with those pillages man you don’t want to get A crossbow arrow to the face then finally on our list placing a crafting table underneath a note block will play a bass sound Do You Video Information
