Good day folks it’s cortezerino and today I’m going to show you how to build this Japanese house and this one and these ones and those ones in fact today I’m going to show you how to build all 27 of these Japanese houses so how on Earth are we going to do that well this is going to be a bit of a Choose Your Own Adventure tutorial so we’ll Begin by building this Foundation for our house and then after that I’ll give you three different options of what to build next you can see The Veranda around the Outside is different on every house and then we’ll keep doing that so you can choose to build the one that you like the best and when we’re finished you’ll have a fully customized house but the great thing is you can also use this as a stockhouse so let’s say you’re Building a great big town and you need lots L and lots of houses to populate it what you can do is build four or five or 10 or 20 of these all at the same time and then you can just go ahead and start making them all just a tiny bit Different so they all look like they belong in the same Village but they are all unique and of course there’s nothing to stop you from tinkering with the design and making even more variations don’t mind the castle in the background that’s spoiler and this is how the builds look without shaders and You can find a link to a materials list in the video description but what I’ll do is I’ll just have the quantities you need to build one of these base houses and then for all the different variations I’ll just list the different materials that you might need but they Won’t have the amounts okay let’s get started we’re going to begin by building a rectangle of stone on the ground and you could also build this out of dirt if you wanted to because we are not going to see it so the dimensions for this are nine blocks by 15 and when you’re Deciding where to place it just allow four blocks on every side for the roof okay now I want you to come along To Each corner and just on the edge here we’re going to place Spruce logs and there will be 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 blocks tall With a a stone block on top okay so your front door will be on one of the longer walls so decide which side will be your front and then come along there and go 1 2 3 4 5 six polished Basalt on that side and we’ll do another six on this side so All facing straight up in the middle we’ll put three Spruce planks and on the bottom half of those planks we will do spruce slabs and then go back to your polished Basalt and we’re just going to run a rectangle of these just around the outside of our Stone and staying at the Front we’re going to come along to this corner and place one two stone blocks then a sea lantern and another two stone blocks and we’ll do the same on this side now I’m using sea lanterns but we’re not going to see these they won’t be visible so you can use any light Emitting block that you like then we’ll come along to the side walls we’re going to do two Stone here sea lantern in the middle of the wall and then finish with stone and we’ll do the same here so two Stone sea lantern and 1 2 3 Stone now For the back wall we are going to go 1 2 3 Stone then a sea lantern and another three sea lantern and finish with three okay grab some white concrete and we’re going to come up to this top Spruce log and we’re just going to place a concrete In on the diagonal and from here we are going to run a rectangle so when you get to the edge of that Spruce log turn the corner and keep going until we’ve connected all of this up and that’s how you should look when you are done so now Come along to one of the shorter walls and just at the top of the basalt we’re going to place a dark oak slab there and one on that side then looking at the slab from the side we’ll place two upside down dark oak stairs and then we’ll connect them with dark oak slabs And we’re going to build the exact same thing at this height right here so just below our white concrete go ahead and do the same thing and then exactly what we’ve built here go ahead and copy to the opposite wall and then we’ll come around to the back wall and we’re going To begin with a dark oak slab at the top of the Bal this time we’ll look in this direction to place our upside down dark oak stair then 1 2 three slabs and then in the opposite direction another dark oak stair so we’ll do the same over here So slab stair one two three slabs and a stair and then we will connect them then we can come up the top here and just below our concrete we’re going to do one two three slabs knock out the middle one then look in this direction and upside Down stair same here 1 2 3 knock out that one up side down stair and then you can connect them and then for the front door we’re going to look at our Spruce from the side place an upside down dark oak stair on each side like so then We’ll go one two three slabs and another on the end same here 1 2 3 one on the end and then looking toward our Spruce logs and upside down stair on each side and then up above we’re going to have our upside downstairs in in the exact Same place as the ones below so we’ll start with a slab and an upside down stair slab upside down stair then you can run your slabs all the way along and then you can look down to see where your upside down stair is and knock out that Block and just do a matching one above so the same right there okay come to where your front door is and with temporary blocks we’re just going to place three up there in the middle and then three bamboo trap doors and you can flick those down and remove your Temporary blocks and then we’ll put our temporary blocks just there on the basalt and that’s so when we place our bamboo doors from this direction the door handles will face the way we want them to so now holding shift with Birch trap doors we’re going to place three Across the top then two on each door and then you can go ahead and flick all of those down and now we’re going to do some windows so staying at the front we’re going to count into the third Basalt and place a dark oak slab then Look in this direction a right way up dark oak stair with a dark oak trapo and you can flick that up and the same thing looking in the opposite direction now just above this we’ll Place three temporary blocks and I’m just going to leave them there and we’re going to put A dark oak slab in the middle and then looking from the sides to upside down dark oak stairs so go ahead and do the exact same thing on this side okay now we’ll do the windows on the sides and this will be the exact same on the Opposite wall so you can build these at the same time so on top of the middle Basalt we’ll do a dark oak slab then looking in this direction dark oak stair with a trapdoor and in this direction dark oak stair with a trapo and then we’re going to look in the opposite Direction and do the same thing so stair trapdoor and stair and trapo now we’ll need five temporary blocks just above and then we’re going to repeat what we did down here so slab in the middle and then two stairs in that direction and two stairs in this direction so that’s How it should look when you’re done go ahead build that on the opposite side and for the back wall right in the middle of Basalt here we’re going to place our dark oak slab and then what we’re going to do is just build this thing again that we just did on the side Walls but this window is going to be a little bit bigger so once you’ve built the same window as we did on the sides what I want you to do is add an extra two temporary blocks to each side and then what we’ll do is a slab on the Basalt and a slab on the temporary block the same on this side and then looking toward our window we’re going to do a RightWay upstair and one upside down and then our trapo so go ahead do the exact same thing right here and you can just leave all Those temporary blocks for the time being so now we’re going to come to the inside and come along to the stone block right in the corner and what we’re going to do is add 1 2 3 four stripped dark oak logs with a stone block on top so do That in each Corner okay once you’ve got all of those in look toward our front door and each side of the door on top of this St we are going to do pillars of four stripped dark oak no stone block on top this time then I want you to look Toward our back wall and what we’re going to do is right next to that dark oak we’re going to do another pillar and we’ll do the same thing on this side and then staying with our strip dark oak we’re just going to run logs across connecting our stone blocks at the top So keep going until you’ve done a full lap of the building okay now we’re going to do some crisscrossing of our windows so this will be the same in each section even though some are wider than others it’s all the same we’re going to start with a line of brown carpet right there And then we’re going to put a line of dark oak trap doors on top of the carpet and holding shift we will do a second line of trap doors so we’re just going to keep doing that in every single section where we have wind Windows okay Once you’ve got all of those done look toward our front door and we’re going to place three upside down dark oak stairs and then switch to dark oak slabs and we’re just going to run these all the way around and once you’ve done a full Lap with those you can come up above and we’ll put on a ceiling so just place a temporary slab there and then we’ll do a slab out and you can break that one and we’re just going to cover up this section with Spruce slabs and that’s how It’ll look when you are done so now what we’re going to do is grab some Spruce logs and we are going to connect all these stone blocks up above and what you could actually do here if you really wanted to save materials you could add an extra stone block on the end there And then just place a stone block every second block because those blocks will not be visible so you can do the same thing starting with a stone block block and then every second block so that’s if you really want to save materials but for the materials list I’m not going to Bother with that I’m just going to have all Spruce logs okay come along to a corner and what I built here I want you to copy to every single corner so at the same height as these dark oak slabs we’re going to place two dark oak fences Those fences will have upside down dark oak stairs on top with a dark oak trapdoor in between them then holding shift on top of the trapo we’re going to place some dark oak planks and then we’ll have a dark oak slab coming out on the diagonal and then against our dark Oak Planks on each side here we’re going to do a dark oak fence gate and open it up okay once you’ve built all four of those come along to any sidew wall and what I built here I want you to copy to every other wall so against the white Concrete just at the top here next to our Spruce we’re going to do a dark oak slab and place one every second block and they will have dark oak trap doors in front and then in between we are going to do dark oak fences now on top Of our trap doors we are going to place sea lanterns or any light block that you like then in front of the sea lanterns upside down dark oak stairs and then against the stairs we are going to place dark oak fence gates and open all of Those up so that’s exactly the same on every every single side to start with your dark oak slab and build the same thing and I’m using all of this hidden lighting because it makes the build look really nice when you’re using shaders so if you never play with shaders perhaps You don’t need those although it will help with a bit of Spawn proofing so now what we’re going to do on each side of our sea lanterns we’re just going to place two dark oak planks with a dark oak slab on the end and just do that Until you’ve covered up the side of every single sea lantern and that’s how you should be looking when you are finished so now what we’re going to do is on this slab in each Corner we are going to place a stone block or whichever junk block you’re using Because we’re never going to see that and then just in front of every single sea lantern we are also going to place a stone block and then we’re just going to connect all of these stone blocks with deep slate tiles so when we’re done we’re just going to have a great big Rectangle and staying with our deep slate tiles come along to a corner and just to the side of that Cornerstone block we’re going to place a tile and then we’re just going to place one every second block until we finish next to that stone block and you can turn the Corner and just repeat the process until we’ve done a full lap of the building okay what I build in this corner I want you to copy to every single corner so grab deep slate tiles stairs and we’ll place two of them right way up against that stone block and then behind this Stone block we’ll Place Another on the diagonal and then behind that we’ll place two then on top we’ll do deep slate bricks and another one then a deep slate brick slab back to our deep slate bricks and then we’ll put a slab on the diagonal just there so that that’s how It should look go ahead build that in each Corner okay you can see our dark oak slabs down here on top of each of those we are going to place a deep slate tile slab and we’re just going to do that on every single side and then you Can grab some deep slate brick stairs and starting against this deep slate brick in the corner we’re going to place a stair right way up and then we’re just going to place one every second block until we finish in the same spot and you can turn the corner and keep going and Then we’ll switch to deep slate brick slabs and we’re just going to place these in between the stairs that we just put down and once again do that on every side okay come along to one of the short side walls and what I build here I want You to copy to the opposite side so not the front and the back just the two side walls so against this top stone block here we’re going to place dark oak planks and just run them along until we connect right there then grab some stone blocks and starting here we’re going to Build them up on the diagonal and once you’ve placed five you can come down here and do the same thing and these should connect just like that so then you can grab a dark oak plank we’ll put it right there in the middle then looking from the side 1 2 3 upside down Dark o stairs and the same thing right here then grab deep slate bricks and up the top we’re going to place a brick on each side then looking from the side one 2 three deep slate brick stairs and then down the bottom here another deep slate Brick just like that and we’ll do the same on this side so one two three stairs we’ve got one brick there already but just down on the diagonal from that we’ll do another brick and then then just on the end here we’re going to do a deep slate slab there and another brick Slab right there and we’ll do the same thing on this side so slab and a slab and we’ll continue building these so once again what I build on this side copy to the other so looking from the outside of the building against that top stone block we’ll place an upside down Deep slay tile stair and then against the other stone blocks we’re going to do deep slate tile blocks so just go all the way down there when you place the bottom one place a deep slay Tile slab on top and then another Tile slab just Down there so we’ll do the same on this side so 1 2 3 four five blocks and a slab on the last block and another slab down there and then grab deep slate tile stairs and against the dark oak we’re going to place a right way up stair on The end and another one on this end and then we’ll skip a block and place a deep Slade tile skip a block place Place Another and another and then in between these we’ll Place 1 2 3 four deep Slade tille slabs and then we’re going to Place five more on top of these stone blocks just like so okay once you’ve done that on each side come to the center and we’re going to place a stone block against that top stone block then a cracked deep slate brick then a stone block and we’re just going to alternate Like this until we connect over there and when you get to the end grab deep slay tile stairs and we’re going to place them upside down against the stone blocks and then against the cracked blocks we’re going to place dark oak trap doors just against the tops of Those and do the same thing on this side okay come along to one of the longer walls and what I built here copy to the opposite side so you can see we’ve got these two stone blocks just against the top stone block we’re going to place Deep SL tile blocks and run them all the way along now in front here we’re going to do a block and we’re going to continue to place one every second block then just in front on the stone we’re going to switch to deep slay tile slabs And cover up our Stone then in between our blocks we are going to place more deep slate tile slabs just like that and then just up here we’re going to place more deep slay tole slabs so you can sort of see the pattern with making in The roof just go ahead and build that on the opposite side and to fill in the rest of the roof this is pretty simple so you can see our four stone blocks on the diagonal we’re going to place four deep slay tile blocks against those just Next to those blocks we are going to place 1 2 3 four deep slay tole stairs and we’re just going to repeat that so we’re going to go blocks and then stairs whoops that was upside down that’s better and just keep doing that until we’ve filled in the entire roof and once You’ve filled in all of the roof on each side come up the top and we’re going to place polished balt lying on its side right in the middle and just extend it until it finishes just above that deep slate stair we’ll do the same on this Side and then when you get to the end place two temporary blocks on top and we’ll put a polished deep slate slab on each side then break that one and we’ll switch to a deep slate brick slab just above then break the other temporary block and another deep slate brick slab And then just either side of that we are going to place polished deep slate walls so that’s how it should look build the exact same thing on the other side okay that is the base of our house complete now it’s time for you to choose which features you want to include in your Build so option one will be this wood wooden Vera that runs all the way around the building option two is a smaller Veranda at the front with jungle leaves running all the way around and then the third option is a stone Veranda with some flowers planted around the outside Okay to build option one I want you to grab some Spruce planks and we’re just going to place them against the stone all the way around the building and once you’ve done that switch two Spruce slabs and just against the top half of our planks we’re going to run our slabs all The way around and once you’ve done that just at the front and the back of the building we are going to add an extra line of slabs so don’t do this on the two side walls just the front and the back okay come around to the side wall And what I built here I want you to copy to the other side wall so looking away from the building we’ll place an upside down Spruce stair and the same on that side and then we’re going to place a slab and then looking toward the center of the building we’ll do another upside Down stair and then one two slabs and another stair so we’ll do that again over here so slab upside down stair then one two slabs and another stair and then three slabs in the middle and once you’ve done that on both sides you can come to the back wall and starting on The end we a slab then skip a block then two slabs skip a block and three slabs same thing up here so one slab two slabs and three slabs and we’re going to start with our stairs looking away from the building then switch Direction look in that direction and switch direction Again just like that so same on this side look away from the building stare look the other way another stair and look this way another stair and then 1 2 three slabs in the middle and then for the front wall we’re going to start with a slab on the end Skipper block two Slabs and then three slabs same on this side one two and then one two 3 in the middle here we’re going to place a spruce plank on each side with three Spruce stairs and then on this Gap in the end we’re going to look away from The building place a stair and then look the other way place a stair same here so on the end look away from the building and then look toward it then on top of our Spruce planks at the front we’re going to place fences with lanterns on top and then it’s pretty simple we’re Just going to place a fence every second block running all the way around the building and you can connect those with fence gates and that’s how you should look when you’re done okay option number two we’re going to begin the same way just by running Spruce planks all the Way around the bottom of of the building okay just on the front wall in front of the spruce planks that we just placed we are going to place another line of spruce planks and then on each end we’re going to place a spruce stair with a Plank beside it and we’ll do the same thing on this side so Spruce stair plank beside it and then we’re going to do two upside downstairs and a plank and another two upside downstairs and a plank and we’ll do the same thing from this side then for the middle three Blocks we’re just going to place Spruce slabs on top of our planks right here we will do fences with lanterns on top and then we’ll do a fence every second block and you can connect those with fence gates and we’ll do the same on this side and then grab some jungle leaves come Around the side here and next to the spruce we’re going to start right there we’re just going to run these all the way around and feel free to wherever you want to just add a little flare of leaves like that but otherwise we’re just going to go all the way around the Building and finish in the same spot just next to that Spruce okay option number three we’re going to begin by running Stone all the way around the bottom of the building but it won’t just be Stone what I want you to do is just randomly mix in some andesite and some Cobblestone into your stone and once you’ve done that all the way around come to one of your shorter walls and what I build here copy to the other short wall so against the spru we’re going to start with a stair and then another one beside it and you notice I’m mixing the same Blocks so it’ll be Cobblestone stairs Stone and Anders side stairs and we’ll do the same thing from this side and then we’ll place a block beside those in here I’m going to plant five rose bushes you could use any tall flower that you like and then I’m going to place jungle Trap doors so I’m placing them against the rose bush and flicking them down and then we can come around to the back wall and I’m going to place a stair beside that one so it curves around and then we’ll do an extra one and a third with a Stone block and we’ll do the same thing on this side so one stair in the corner then a second then a third and a stone block and then I’m just going to plant rose bushes all the way along there and once again put a jungle trapo in front And then for the front wall just in front of our door we’ll do three Spruce planks and three Spruce slabs we’ll do a stair on each side with blocks beside those and then we’ll do a corner stair and just one other than a block and we’ll do the same thing over here we’ll Do a stair in the corner one more stair and then a block and then in here we’re just going to plant our rose bushes and three trap doors so there’s the Third Way of building it complete let’s move on to your next choices so now we’re choosing the color of our house we’re Doing the wall design so you can see this one’s got polished balt right down the bottom but the rest of it is white the next one the polished Basalt Rises quite a bit and then we’ve got some white up the top and then the final one The polished Basalt goes all the way up with just a tiny bit of white so choose which one’s your favorite and we’ll build those okay option number one this is the all white building what you want to do is everywhere where you can see the balt there just build up these white Concrete blocks as far as you can so you’re adding four more concrete blocks on top of the basal okay once you’ve built those up all the way around you can come to the front door and place three white concrete right there and then these temporary blocks we had Earlier just go ahead and replace all of those with concrete and once that’s all filled in you can see on each wall we’ve got these upside down stairs up here what you want to do is look from the side hold shift and place three dark oak Trap doors below it and then flick them all up so it just connects in a little line like that just make sure you’re facing in the right direction you don’t want to place three like that and flick them up and it doesn’t connect to the upside down dark oak stair so just go Ahead and do that on each wall so on the back wall that looks like that on the side walls we’ve just got two of them and then there are four of them on the front wall all righty now it’s time for option number two so what we’re going to Do this time is on top of the basalt we’re going to place one two three Basalt and then a white concrete on top so do that for all of these and once you’ve done that all the way around you can place three white concrete above our door and just replace all of these Temporary blocks with white concrete okay now I want you to come along to one of the short side walls and we’re going to begin with a dark oak slab just at the top of that polished balt and we’ll do another one there then looking from the side we’ll do an upside downstair Then looking in the other direction another upside downstair and then we’ll do 1 2 3 4 five dark oak trap doors and then looking in this Direction one two trap doors flick them up so it connects to those stairs and on this side another two trap doors so go ahead build that on The opposite wall and the back wall is a similar design so you can see how upside down stair we’re going to do a matching one just underneath it with a dark oak slab on the side and over here same same thing matching stair with a dark oak Slab and then you can run your dark oak trap doors all the way along this just creates a little bit of a separation between the basalt and the white concrete makes it look a little bit nicer and then under this stair just look from the side place in your two Dark oak trap doors and the same over here and then for the front wall it’s going to be the same thing so we’re just going to place the stairs in the same direction as the stairs above so we are just doing a matching one just like that On the ends we’re going to put in a dark oak slab and then we’re going to run our dark oak trap doors you’ll have to hold shift here to place them against those bamboo trap doors and just run those all the way along and then like before we’re Just going to put our two dark oak trap doors underneath our lines of stairs and that that’s how you should look when you’re done so time for option number three and for this one everywhere we’ve got some polished Basalt we’re just going to add four more polished Basalt On top and once you’ve done that come to the front door and we’ll do three polished balt lying on their sides and then everywhere where we’ve got a temporary block Place three more polished balt but have these facing straight up so just run around replacing all of those and then to decorate our Side walls it’s very simple just underneath any of these upside downstairs we’re just going to place one two three dark oak trap doors making sure they’re in line with the stairs so just go ahead do that on every wall where we’ve got an upside down stair up The top so when you’re done you should be looking just like this so remember at the start of the video when I said the there were 27 different designs for houses there’s actually 81 I just didn’t want to have to build 81 houses for the intro so our next choice to make which Doesn’t really affect the outside of the building just the inside we’re going to choose our floor so this is option number one a bamboo floor option number two is an oak floor and option number three is birch okay option number one grab a stripped bamboo block and what We’re going to do is place two of them lying on their side at the front door like that with another one facing in the opposite direction and then we’re going to follow this pattern just placing them every second block and then going in the other direction like so and then we’ll Reverse it like this you get the idea we’re just crisscrossing the whole way until we fill in our floor and now we’re going to do our Oak floor FL so we’re going to look at these two dark oak pillars near the front door and grab some beehives and looking in the same Direction I am we’re going to place two beehives like that then a stripped Oak log against it and two more beehives and then next to this pillow we’ll do the same thing so two beehives an oak log and two beehives and then starting next to this sea lantern we’re going to look Toward our front door and place beehives all the way along and then for from here it’s pretty simple we’re just going to place stripped oak logs all facing in this direction just lines and lines of them and keep going until youve filled in your floor and option number three Our Birch floor so just in front of the door I want you to place one two three stripped birch logs lying on their side and then right in line with the door we’re going to place five like that then skip two blocks and place another five And on this side skip two blocks and place another five and then we’re going to look in the other direction and we’re going to place a long line of them all the way down here then we’re going to skip a block do another line and then once again skip a block And do another line and then to fill in every other spot we’re just going to look toward the front of our building and place them all in in this direction and that’s your last floor complete let’s move on to our final choice to make and that choice is how to decorate This empty part of our roof so here’s the design for option number one and option number two is a little bit fancier and finally option number three okay to build option number one we’re going to look just behind that lowest dark oak stair and place a white Concrete block and we’re just going to place them all the way along now just above that we’re going to place Spruce logs and all of these will be lying on their side and just above that 1 2 3 white concrete then grab dark oak fences and place one on each side okay for Option number two come to the inside place a temporary block there with a spruce log on top then break that and have two more Spruce logs on top of that and then we’re just going to fill in the sides with white concrete then come back to the outside stand in the middle here Look to the side we’ll Place one trapo then flick it up and then holding shift we’ll place two dark oak trap doors and flick them up and we’ll do the same on this side and then right in the middle 1 two three dark oak fences and the final Option is super easy grab some dark oak planks and just behind that first dark oak stair the one down the bottom place in your dark oak plank and then just against that we’re going to place the fancy new chiseled bookshelves and we’re just going to fill In the entire area and that is it guys that is all of the options complete but you don’t need to stop customizing there so on this house I’ve added a few other options so you can keep making your houses different so you can hang lanterns from these fences in the Corners you can scatter plants all around the building wherever you like you can even hang some from chains although don’t think you can do that on Bedrock so go around making all your houses different you can add a door in the middle and of course you can decorate the insides with different Arrangements of furniture so I hope you had fun with this tutorial guys you’ve either made your perfect house or you’ve made 10 perfect houses and you’re well on your way to making an entire Village so thanks for watching leave a like on the video if you enjoyed it and I’ll see You next time Video Information
