5 Minecraft Christmas House Ideas!

What is it guys my students here and as you can tell by the title it is December 1st and we get in Christmasy that’s right today I’m gonna be building five different houses in different styles with a certain @ Christmasy winter theme to them now I’ll try and explain what’s

Going on as I’m building them but you probably sick of hearing me talk let’s get into the building now I don’t normally build things like this that are this small but this took me about 30 minutes to complete so very quick as you can see here in the time-lapse is

Already going up very quickly and I decided to use spruce as I feel like that sort of color wood is kind of Christmasy in comparison to the other woods in the game and one of my pet peeves is when people do the floor the same color as the sides of the walls now

I like to do a birch for a different color floor to the Spruce and as you can see there I went for birch this episode and right now adding a little fireplace because you know what Christmasy isn’t Christmas without a fireplace and a chance of burning your house down which

Wintry feel now this is a very cute Christmassy quick build that you can change up however you like so this next building is not very practical whatsoever actually it’s not practical at all to be honest because yes it is a huge Christmas tree with a house sitting inside it when has that

Ever been practical if you want to store some items in chess in here there’s not much space for that but here is what I am building I am starting out with a basic tree structure with some branches and stuff then I’m gonna add this house in for some reason went for these red

Sandstone stairs for the bits I don’t know why then add in the leaves this bit is the horrible bit I sped this up quite a lot because I really don’t like watching that while doing that because it’s very very painful to do but this build again took about 30 minutes in

Total so not that long I added a starter bit over the tree and some baubles and decorated the outside and the bottom with some presents as well and this build mainly just for show not really for living in but if you want to build something like this feel free to do so

Now you know when you walk down the street and you see one of those houses which has about 5 million Christmas decorations out front this house is probably something that they would like living in because I went for all the tacky boy oh yes that’s what I’ve named

It because this thing is cheesy its tacky it’s in your face and it’s made out of red and white because those are kind of the colors for Christmas I think and here I’m just decorating the outside of Christmas trees and sugar canes and just snow everywhere and I’m just trying

To make it look as tacky as possible and to add on to that tackiness we’re gonna build a big old Rudolph boy above the top of this house as you can see here right in the antlers and his face he’s got some quiet cheeks because he’s a

Kowai little Rudolph and yet it’s it’s a tacky build but I’m owning it I’m proud of it the Rudolph looks terrifying and nobody’s probably gonna want to replicate this but that’s ok now this is probably my favorite build that I did of the five today and it is

Of course the gingerbread house I got the inspiration from well gingerbread houses so obviously Brown being the gingerbread and all the colors and stuff like that being either the icing or like the jelly babies or whatever they put on gingerbread houses it’s been a long time

Since I made a gingerbread house I’m not going to lie now I really enjoyed building this one it was really fun to build a mess around of all the colors and make it look like an actual gingerbread house I even made some gingerbread trees you’ll see at the end

Don’t know what the buttons for I just thought you know what that looks pretty cool I’ll add some buttons on there and I think it did look pretty cool and yeah this one is very practical because it is huge so you can use this for whatever

You want you can place a chests in here you can put everything in here you could live in this house it is massive but in my usual style I did not decorate the inside you may say Joel that’s lazy of you and I will say you are correct that

Is right I am lazy also just decorating in the insides it would be very similar in each house so there’s no need for me to decorate the inside one by one as you’ll just see a very similar stuff I’d rather focus on building something on the outside that looks good because like

Everyone always says is what’s on the outside that matters I’m just kidding that is the complete opposite of the the saying isn’t it let’s be honest but this build only took about 30 minutes again all build so far have been under the 30 minute mark so it shows you how quick

You can build these things I’m not using worldedit I’m using only vanilla blocks as well so don’t worry if you are watching this at home and then you can go and build this as well on the latest version of Minecraft I use a lot of concrete in this that’s what makes the colorful

Blocks there as you can see here adding in some candy canes and decoration to the outside the snow is actually icing in this stance you know some sugar icing like coated on top sprinkle down from the skies above aka your hands I don’t know but in this reality it’s actual

Snow and I just made it look pretty on the outside and I thought this was a really cool build and I hope you guys enjoy this one too feel free to try and make something similar at home you can go crazy with this gingerbread this can be anything you want them to be

So this last build was the one that took the longest by far it took double of the other ones it took me about an hour and 10 minutes to build this and it is by far the biggest build as well as I went for a source of mansion / wooden mansion

Sort of theme and I didn’t really know where I was going when I started this build I never really know where I’m going most of time but I was just sort of going along building it and I was like okay I can see this working and I

Made this first bit here this sort of like start of like quite a big house it looks like a regular sort of house and I was like you know what I can add a little one of these onto the side so that’s what I did I started adding a

Little one onto the side as well which you can see here now you may notice it might pop up saying changing weather to clear a few times does because this new time-lapse mod I’m using is a bit weird like that but just thinking about okay I know it ruins the visuals but that’s

Fine so this house I wanted to go for a sort of really rich nice looking spruce mansion because I just love spruce it’s my favorite type of block in Minecraft I don’t know why I just always build with this wood rather than oak and when I was

Building it I had in mind I want a Christmas tree inside and I wanted it to be big enough that I would be able to fit a Christmas tree inside it and that’s exactly what I did the Christmas tree is gonna be next to it the big

Glass window I’m adding in here just because from the outside it’ll look cool from inside it’ll look cool as well as you’ll be able to see it from both perspectives i until sort of like have a balcony on the top floor for this to work I had to have a balcony on both

Sections of the house actually don’t know why because I just sort of put the glass in the wrong place and I just sort of built around it now if you’re watching this video to get some ideas this house probably is one of the easiest ones to build in fact although

It’s the biggest and took me longest that’s because there was just so many blocks to place but it’s very simple very straightforward and I think the final effect is really good and I really like how it’s turned out and there’s so many ways you can customize this house because there’s just so much

Space and you could build off the other side of another little one you just go huge you could have multiple sections of this house with multiple Christmas trees you just go wild why not add all the Christmas trees you want in this house you’d have one in the bedroom one in the

Downstairs but here’s the Christmas tree that I decided to build quite hard to see it from here because it’s so enclosed inside this small space but it really did take up the entire length of their house and it did have a gold star on top of it as well and unfortunately

You can’t have small baubles on it I guess you could use the heads that you can spawn in and have bubbles that way but instead I just went for some concrete for now I really wish I had used the baubles as you can add the little present heads in and as well but

Unfortunately as I said earlier I am not much of a decorator I like building these grand things but decorating them oh that is where I I just can’t do it I’m just not very good at decorating but I am good I think at building gardens outside and this is one of my favorite

From the section I didn’t a load of those two block high flowers plus some bone meal on the ground and a hedge and then just surrounded it with trees to make this look like a real woodland mansion you’d find it amongst the wood and added in the snow afterward and I

Think the effect this had was really quite nice so here are the final builds all in one world we have the little cottage we have the Christmas tree we have the tacky boy oh the gingerbread house of course and finally the wood lund mansion which I’ll show you what
