5 Must Have Minecraft Sculk Machines!

Hi everybody how you doing this is me your boy this coke sensor is one of the most fascinating minecraft blocks of all time with this simple block right there there are so many different redstone contraptions that you can build like cool simple wireless doors that are simple and wireless but did you know

That there’s more to life than just redstone doors oh boy a lot more in today’s video i’m going to show you five a cool must-have skulk machines even better all these things are insanely easy to set up but at the same time impressive like this first one are you

Looking for the most dramatic ambiance creating hallway in the entire game a hallway with lighting the lights up as you walk through it well then this is the hallway for you this hallway is so easy to set up and it’s cool as you walk through the hallway the lights light up

And then as you keep walking through the hallway the lights don’t light up like they turn off as you walk away from them yeah beautifully put so the nice thing about this machine it’s so easy to set up check this out so inside of here

Is my hallway on top of the hallway i have a redstone lamp then a skull sensor then a wool block then i have another skull sensor and below that sensor another lamp and that’s it it’s a simple pattern repeat it all throughout your hallway and you’re good to go now the

Nice thing about this thing it doesn’t have to be inside of a hallway you could set this up inside of a room you could set this up inside of um a room maybe your base is a little bit more outdoorsy well you could totally set this up along some kind of pathways

So then when you walk down that path at night time the lights light up as you move down the path a path like that i mean chef’s kiss it’s simple it’s cool and it’s a big redstone contraption all in one because of how the skulk sensor powers things you’ve got a lot of

Options here you could have a lamp sitting right below the skull sensor and that’ll work or you could have a lamp sitting right above the skull sensor and that will also work you could also have lamps on the side of the skull sensor yeah there are so many different options

Here one thing that i do recommend for this one though is wool blocks if you have wool blocks in between your skull sensors wool occlusion will kick in and your lights will light up as you walk down the hallway if you’re not really worried about that dramatic lighting

Following you effect though you could skip the wall all right i don’t know what it is about another portal that just like turns on uh automatically in front of your eyes but like it’s cool of course once the nether portal turns on you could step into the portal and go

Into the nether or even better you can just turn the portal off take a step back and give it a second walk up the staircase and do it all over again and watch this portal turn on then turn it off and turn it on and turn it off again maybe

Because it’s so cool all right so this one has a little bit more to it than the last one to set something up like this these are the materials that you’re gonna need two dispensers two redstone dust an observer a skulk sensor a flint and steel a water bucket and then of

Course the materials to create another portal so obsidian you’re also probably going to want to have wool blocks for wall occlusion oh yeah then a button or some kind of power source so that could be a button a lever a pressure plate uh it doesn’t matter at all okay so you’ve

Got a lot of options there are many different ways that you can work this into your base i’m just going to go ahead and throw one option together really quick for you so first things first start by creating another portal here we have a portal that’s cool then

Behind this portal we’re gonna place a temporary block over here and then a dispenser facing into the portal on the other side however big or small your portal is place another dispenser no matter what you do though make sure you have at least one block of space in between your dispensers that’s important

On one dispenser doesn’t really matter which one we’re gonna go ahead and place a temporary block and then place an observer and then remove that temporary block this is gonna power the water so we could turn off the portal whenever we need to down below there in front of the

Observer we’re gonna place redstone dust redstone dust and then over here would be a wall i would probably not build this wall out of grass blocks i would build it out of whatever my wall is but this button when i press that it’ll update the observer which will dispense

Water dispense water that means we need a water bucket inside of that right there so if we go ahead and press that water is dispensed and then picked back up if you want to trap the water inside of your portal which you know in my opinion is a pretty smart idea then

You’re going to want to do something like i’ve done over here on this nether portal i’ve gone ahead and put slabs in front of the portal so i can still easily walk into it but the water doesn’t spill everywhere so maybe we go ahead and put some slabs in front of

This portal you know keep the water inside of it that’s a good idea and then we can actually go ahead and fill that in too uh so we don’t have the water spill out the back now take a seat because this next part oh it’s insanely

Advanced it’s gonna be tricky to keep up with so uh we have a dispenser on the other side inside of there flint and steel right next to that we’re gonna go ahead and drop a skulk sensor then uh in survival minecraft i’m gonna go ahead and walk up to this portal and

It’s lit and that’s it and then i go ahead and unlight it and there we go and then i go ahead and walk up to it and it’s lit again it’s lit again it’s so simple and it’s perfect now let’s go ahead and take a look at my bigger design over

Here in the middle i put two dispensers this is simply for aesthetic reasons and then down here i have wall blocks occluding the skulk sensor a little bit also over here on the front of the build if i go ahead and remove these staircases i’ve hid more wool blocks

Down below the stairs this is so the portal will only light as soon as i step up onto these stairs right here so that part is totally your call it’s completely up to you how dramatic do you want your portal lighting to be if you’re going for very dramatic simple

All you need to do is put some wool blocks in front of the portal maybe below some staircases or something and then it only lights once you get close to it if you’re a little bit more okay with this portal just really lighting wherever whenever the skulk sensor sees

You then don’t worry about wool blocks at all it’s totally your call and completely up to you depends on how your base is set up i like this contraption a lot i thought it was pretty cool when i was setting it up i also like like all of the other contraptions there’s no

Subliminal message in like any of the things that i’m like saying let’s move on it’s sad moment so sad i wish i could take credit for originally coming up with this one because it’s mind-blowing once you know this one your life is literally changed and i don’t even know

Who did originally because i’ve seen it done so many times but it’s so amazing if you’ve never seen this before prepare to have your mind blown so check this out i i have a room right here this is like part of my house uh whoops yikes uh

Hi here i have my room and uh my base yeah it needs a little bit of work there’s a void on the other side but my room inside of this room is just a wall until i take the flower out of the pot then i go up the staircase spin around

Over here and boom the treasure the secret all of my valuables all of my profits completely hidden away from everybody else they’ll never know and it’s all perfectly seamless too so i went through that one pretty quickly there check this out i put a flower back

In the pot staircase pulls out of the wall door opens up in the corner and then secretly and i fell again i really should fix my base it’s great this one is so cool so to set this thing up you’re gonna need these supplies right here this time around i’m not going in

Exact amounts and you’ve got options all right spoiler alert for the mind-blowing trick as soon as you see this one your life has changed forever so if you don’t want to see it like skip ahead like 20 seconds 30 seconds skip ahead a little bit anyways here we have some sticky

Business right there and then i have staircases these sticky pistons are going to move the staircase out of the wall now right now this would be insanely obvious if i filled the wall in like this like it’s obvious there’s staircases no tricking me at all however

Once i do this oh boy once i do this it’s changed that’s completely well it’s not secret yet add a couple blocks to this wall on the top and the bottom so you know you don’t have a super obvious diagonal in the middle of nowhere and there you go perfectly secret seamless

Whoa the redstone wiring behind the super secret high-tech wall always so simple to solid blocks right behind the sticky pistons and then to provide power of course redstone dust on top of those blocks now all we need is a way to actually activate this thing that’s pretty simple too skulk sensor what i’m

Going to do is go ahead and place the skull sensor right there connect the redstone line to the skull sensor and there we go as soon as the skull sensor sends or something like me moving around over here the wall the staircase is activated but that could be a problem

Right now just me walking around it obviously reveals the staircase that’s not secret enough how do we fix that well well a couple strategically placed wool blocks will create some wool occlusion effects going on and it’s perfect and now i continue the wall up and i’m a little bit better check this

Out moving around over here jumping around nothing until i move on this spot right here but wait nothing we need a key the cool thing about this secret staircase is when it comes to a key you’ve got so many options one key that i like is the

Flower in a pot i feel like it’s not obvious at all another key that could potentially work is a note block to place a note block down ring the note block the skull sensor sees the vibration and the staircase opens to finish everything off we need of course

A doorway into a secret room right now we have a staircase that pops out and i guess the staircase could secretly lead me up to this high platform but a secret room secret room is 100 the way we’re going to place our door perfectly in line with the staircase around a corner

Now it’s building time what we’re going to do is go ahead and place a temporary block right there temporary block right there and then finally one more temporary block right there remove the two middle one sticky piston sticky piston remove that right there on the

Back side of this thing or on the side side of this thing totally your call we need to provide power to this door providing power there are many different ways this is the easiest way in my opinion redstone torch right there solid block redstone dust now all i need to do

Is come up with a way to turn this torch off with the skulk sensor and good news it’s easy we start over here at our final piston we’ll start by stepping down and then we step down again then we go ahead and run a couple more solid

Blocks over to the side of the block with the torch then it’s redstone dust time now depending on how far away you are from the skulk sensor initially this might not cut it the power might not be strong enough to fix any of those problems redstone repeater now it might

Take a little bit of trial and error you might have to mess around with things to figure out how you can get your power strong enough to reach it but once it does you should end up with something that looks like this right here then

Over on the front side if all of my power is strong enough i ring this and the door opens and then i run up easy as that of course like this is still insanely plain but that’s the concept right there now you can go ahead and

Fill things in with more blocks add some kind of staircase behind that secret door add a secret room look i played the game for like a long time now i don’t think this one will ever cease to amaze me a completely wireless secret staircase and a door

It’s so cool like i could just watch this happen all day it’s so simple too ah life is good i’ve just finished running three olympic pacers lapis around my house outside i’m feeling good charged up now i’m on my minecraft server wait what’s that you think this

Is the same world that i was just in no you’re lying you’re lying you’re wrong this is a server our next contraption is most useful on a server so here i am over at my boy greg’s base oh greg not really the best builder this is your

Storage building hey it’s not much but i guess it works there’s a chest if i were greg i would know to walk over here because something’s going on with this floor right there but here’s the thing i’m not greg so i don’t know i want to

See what’s in that chest so i go ahead and walk right over here and oh that’s nice greg fire resistance uh oh my boy you got me again no greg you trickster you you’re lucky i’m not the admin because if i was the admin i would ban you immediately that

Was violent a slightly less explosive version of this design something that maybe is a little bit more single player friendly excludes the tnt and only has good potions to build this one we’re looking at a material list that looks something like this right here in non-exact amounts the type of potion

Totally you’re called the tnt completely optional if you’re going to trap route and you’d like to be able to easily rebuild this one then consider using obsidian as well for this one we’re playing with a silent skulk sensor so if you didn’t know you can actually silence

The skull sensor by submerging it in water that’s all you need to do so what we’re going to do is place the skull sensor somewhere down below the floor and then put water on it now anytime i activate the skulk sensor i mean it’ll activate but we won’t hear any noise to

Make this trap activate in specific directions wool occlusion again if i wanted to i could make this trap activate any time i walk over here by excluding a wool block on this side or if i wanted to i can make this trap very very exclusive meaning it only activates

On this block right here by placing wool blocks on the floor if you’re going with wool blocks directly on the floor maybe do the entire floor out of wool blocks to make it a little bit less obvious except for the block that you want people to walk on to trigger the trap if

They walk on wall the skull sensor won’t hear it arming this trap is insanely simple so down here below the floor we’re going to start with an observer looking at a block except this block needs to be a note block when the skull sensor gets activated it’ll power the

Note block we won’t hear anything because there’s a block right above it but the observer knows what happens then behind the observer all i’m going to need to do is run a red zone line over to something it could be a block of tnt could be a dispenser really whatever

You’d like if you’re going to the dispenser route and you’d like to you know not have a dispenser sitting literally right on top of the floor and that’s pretty simple place the carpet place another carpet right there and then all you need to do is move over this thing the dispenser will dispense

Whatever splash potion you just put inside of it and then you get the effect but remember you’ve got so many options here whatever your mind can come up with for a trap do that maybe it’s tnt maybe it’s a potion maybe it’s a block that opens up and then somebody falls through

The floor no matter what you end up going with for this one just know that you’re actually kind of evil our final contraption today it’s so cool and it’s so easy to set up too look at that double jump boost right up to this platform and even better i could

Keep going a simple motion activated jump boost this thing is so cool and it’s so easy to build in fact it’s so easy there are no materials well i mean there are materials but i just didn’t put them in the chest because i can list them to you you’re gonna need a skull

Sensor you’re gonna need a sticky piston a slime block and then blocks around the slime block that the slime block cannot move so you could do jukeboxes you could do obsidian you could do glazed terracotta you could do honey blocks i will admit that if you’re chaining these

Together the timing can be a little bit tricky to get just right but with a little bit of practice you should be able to pull it off and it kind of works as a way down too you can jump on the slime block and then crouch to get back down that’s so cool

Maybe even more cool instead of a jump boost thing it’s just a trampoline i can just stand on this thing and kind of jump kind of forever the applications for this one are crazy maybe like an obstacle course or something you’re running through and you need to run and

Time your run just perfect to be shot up into the air or maybe you’re just setting up a base a storage room and you want to be rocking it up to the second story this thing it’s so simple and it’s compact down here below this thing if

You’d like me to break it down for you it’s literally a skulk sensor right next to a sticky piston and on top of the sticky piston a slime block all around the slime block are blocks that the thing can’t move like jukeboxes and that’s it over here one block back i’ve

Got a ledge this ledge would have something up on top of it maybe it’s another launcher maybe it’s just i don’t know like a set of diamond armor or something one thing that i will say if you’re stringing these things together to jump and jump and jump again then

Consider placing some wool blocks in between these things to get some gold occlusion going on without wool occlusion your timing can definitely get messed up a little bit also consider starting with carpet and maybe landing on wool too this one is so simple but because it’s so simple honestly this
