Picture this you start up a brand new minecraft world for the tenth time this week as you got bored of the last one again you go onto youtube and subscribe to smallish beans wait that’s not part of the script joel oh sorry uh you built the same starter House in the same biome you always do you play the world for a few hours and then you get bored and you start again wow doesn’t that sound miserable but it’s the circle of minecraft if only there was someone out there to give you inspiration for building in other biomes Well it turns out that person is not available right now so instead you have me someone who will try their best to give you some ideas first off we need to figure out what biomes are suitable for a starter base joel is an ice spikes biome suitable of course not it’s disgusting What about an ocean don’t be stupid look there’s no land well what about the gravelly mountains what is wrong with you look at this does this look like a good foundation no we’re going to start with the jungle bio because this biome is a-okay in my eyes So for all of these starter houses i’m going to be using items that are relatively easy to get by that i mean no never items no end items just mainly items you find in the overworld so let’s kick off with this jungle build now first things first you’ve got to clear some space In a jungle i use world edit here in survival obviously you just knock it down with your hand and your ex etc and the problem i have with jungles is that mobs just seem to come out of nowhere because of all you know the leaves and The rocky terrain etc so i decided to add a wall around this starter base here in hopes that it keeps it a bit mob proof and for the build itself we use some jungle wood some granite and some terracotta the terracotta is a bit trickier to get but i think it’s not Super hard if you’ve got a shuffle really is it as for the design it does have two floors but the second floor is very small and just has a bedroom on it it’s very compact and also a positive is you can have all your stuff with inside this wall Meaning it’ll be nice and safe at night let me quickly show you the interior so normally when you add a wall around your build it makes it kind of annoying to get in and out so what i’ve done is i’ve put four entrances we’ve got one on every single side As you can see over here just to make it easy to get in and out of your base i also lit it up with these sort of tiki torches here hopefully if i set the time tonight yeah you can see it’s very nicely lit up in here mob Shouldn’t spawn you can always light up a bit more i also added a couple of doors to get in you can see we’ve got an entrance here and an entrance over here as well i always find it’s useful to have more than one door to your house As you’re not always coming from the same direction so if we head inside the front here you can see we’ve got a little chest storage area here i didn’t really know what to put here and you always need quite a lot of storage at the start so i thought i’d just put A load of chests here which you can sort if you want but i also put a load of barrels over here as well which are very useful for just sorting items out and also look quite nice we got your furnaces your blast furnace everything you’d basically need in a starter home And then the staircase up here leads to your bedroom adding some jungle leaves to remind you you’re in the jungle and also we’ve got a nice little balcony here it’s only tiny but you can see out around the jungle area very lovely it’s a very compact build for the jungle Next up we have the dark forest biome this biome is dark and also a forest and quite like the jungle it’s very much full of dense areas so once again i have to clear out a little area and also do a little bit of terraforming not Anything too crazy and then i made about three mistakes of trying to build a mushroom before finally getting to a one i liked because yes that’s right we are building a mushroom house here i think this is a really cute base very easy to make just using some Diorite and some red wool as the main blocks plus adding in some birch as well inside oh and also some white wool as well and honestly this is one of my favorite bases it’s only small so you can’t really fit too much inside it but it’s actually got more Than the last base as it is slightly bigger thanks to that big old head of the mushroom there i also decorated the outside with a bit of coarse dirt which is quite easy to make all you need is gravel and dirt and also some barrels and some hanging Plants and there you have it a very cute little mushroom base i’ve hung some lanterns coming down here which i think look really cool plus i hung a barrel i don’t know why i thought it looked cool oh and also i hung these saplings in these pots here and put some hanging Leaves as well just add a bit of you know extra color to this build a nice little pond here as well obviously i’m not using any bamboo or anything but you can put some sugarcane around there bamboo is found in the jungle and also quite hard to find so for a start base Unless you’re in the jungle not using bamboo but inside this base we’ve got a very nice dark oak stripped wood floor obviously a lot of dark oak out here isn’t there yeah i think you’d be fine for dark oak also just got some basic stuff like we had in the over bay some Storage etc upstairs again just a bedroom very simple nothing too crazy but there’s another floor which you have a base didn’t have enough here we have an enchanting area where you can get your level 30 enchantments also store your lapis in there if you want it’s a very small Kind of narrow base but perfect if you want to settle in a dark oak forest and look it kind of it kind of blends in kind of not really but kind of next up we’re going to be heading to the desert and the good thing about the Desert is there’s no trees so we don’t have to clear any trees we can just start building and that’s exactly what we did using some sandstone some acacia wood because often by a desert you will have a savannah so that’s what i’m going off here we’re also using some More granite and as you can see this looks hideous so i changed it up because it was just looking quite terrible but we got a design i was pretty happy with in the end it’s got some more simple roofs but i think it actually ended up looking really really nice Now normally i’d like to use some more color like some blues or bluey greens in this sort of build but i’d have to use warped planks or prismarine which is quite hard to get so instead we’re sticking to this sort of orangey yellowy vibe and you know what I love it i think it looks awesome and it’s only small but i really really like it i added in some cacti is obviously cacti quite easy to get and i also did in this sort of like you know little watery grassy area here with some dirt Etc i thought that was just quite a nice little extra bit you could bring yourself you’re gonna need to hydrate if you’re gonna be living in the desert so you want some water nearby other than that the house itself is quite basic nothing too crazy about this We got some rabbits around the back here which we’ve collected from the desert and stored we got a back door of course and we just got some lanterns etc and that’s about it for the outside let’s head inside now where i’ve actually put our bed on the bottom floor here i Thought this was quite a nice change you can sleep in your bed obviously i can’t jump up on there because this is in the way but we’ve got a land under there as well so it’s nice and lit up all your basics again some storage everything you’d need no enchanting Table on this one because we have enough space but we do have this lovely balcony look at that looking out over the world and we’ve got another one over here looking out over nothing and then finally we’ve got this section up here which is some more chest you can Get in because these are stairs and and a window which is quite low so it’s mainly just for looks on the outside but either way a nice functioning desert starter base i think that looks really cute next up we have the giant tiger biome a vine with trees hmm Maybe we should clear that out yes that’s exactly what we’re gonna do as we did right here and for this base i thought i’d go for more of a tower and it took me a while to get it right as you can see here but eventually we settled on Some cobblestone and musty cobblestone as there is loads of mossy cobblestone in this biome along with some spruce of course i mean we’re surrounded by spruce we’re gonna use spruce and i decided to make a watchtower with a sort of rocky tower at the bottom and at the top it’s kind of Neat and tidy and not overgrown because this is where you do all the watching from i used some oak wood for the roof but apart from that most of the blocks are found in this biome to be honest it’s quite a simple build however it is quite tight inside as i Will show you now here is my tower i think it looks pretty good i’m happy of it i’m liking the spruce trap doors i just love spruce trap doors who doesn’t like spruce trap doors right they’re just the best block to be honest we’ve used a bit of granite and brick Here luckily there’s a load of clay in the water over here so making some bricks probably wouldn’t be too hard as it’s just so easy to find in rivers like this but apart from that every other block is kind of simple apart from a few inside we’ve got a load Of storage in here but as i said it’s quite compact crafting tables some more barrels for storage smokers uh that’s very very tight space but you can head up we’ve got a bedroom which is usable we’ve got some decorations some more storage as well in case we run out A hanging plant because there’s not really space to put many things anywhere and finally up here we’ve just got a plant and another plant and then we can look out across the world but a very compact base in a very uncompact biome and from here obviously you could have other buildings Like your barn and your farm and your enchanting area and stuff like that i’m just really happy with this i think this is quite a nice base and i really like how it matches the trees right the trees here are very tall and i feel like this base symbolizes That tallness as well so there you have it the giant tiger i guess this would be fine for a normal tiger as well except you wouldn’t get as much bossy cobblestone next up we have the snowy tundra now i saved this one for last because it’s quite a sort Of mix of all the other woods and stuff we used in the other builds because you don’t really get any like wood in this sort of area you get the spruce trees nearby but i use some dark oak as well because it just looks quite nice with the spruce in My opinion but the one thing you can use to your advantage in this biome is the snow for the roof and it took me a while to get a look that i liked but using the layered snow you can sort of make a cool effect originally i went for quite a neat Effect and i tried snow around the outside it didn’t look good then i went for a sort of rough effect like this and i think this looks really nice i wanted to create like a cozy warm cottage and i think i’ve done just that especially the inside of this one i Think looks really nice also we added a lovely little spruce tree on the outside as well oh so pretty cute build in my opinion also this may look like a lot of like detail and stuff i just sort of just randomly placed this stuff and i think it Actually ends up looking quite cool so i do like that it’s it’s really quite easy to do we’ve got a little fire pit round here we’ve got another entrance over here it’s it looks better from this side actually this place i think yeah maybe then this side either way I think it looks pretty cool overall lots of fences around etc the small little pine tree here we have a little bench as well we’ve got some water over here which is frozen into ice i did actually place that as water a little balcony deck thing here and Then inside it’s probably my favorite interior so far we’ve got our little crafting area chest room here furnaces over here and then we’ve got this little sort of balcony area up here with our bed which is very cozy you can look down to the rest of the House gives me a very wintery cottagey vibe and then over here we just got some random stuff for decoration oh yeah i really like this house this is really cute i’d love this as a little starter base i could see myself living in this sometimes you got to do Things for decorations sometimes you’re going to do things for purpose and this has a great mix of both in my opinion so there you have it the snowy tundra house so there you have it guys i hope i could give you some inspiration today thank you so much for watching hope you liked The video make sure to leave a like if
