Okay in this video we are going to be making particles that rotate around the player uh if you watch the video on rotating particles this is going to be very similar but with a little difference so let’s just make the same as we had before for rotating particles we are going to summon An armor stand uh three in front and we will give it a tag tags we will call it follow player so i think you can guess what this armor stands going to be doing there it is let’s pop down one of these let’s pop down another one Uh let’s put a lever on top needs redstone it’s going to be a repeat we are going to execute uh as any entity with the tag follow player floo player follow player that’s better and we are going to execute as at itself run teleport itself to the same x and y And we’re going to spin it round i don’t know three let’s try that done go it’s turning great next bit always active chain execute at any entity with the tag follow player uh run particle let’s use let’s use flame this time flame and we’re going to use the little hats The carrots in front let’s say three in front let’s say two in front how big a spread 0.1 on the x not 0.1 on the y naught point one on the z um what speed let’s just say one how many particles one done oh what’s going on there well it’s Definitely going round that is probably the speed let’s give it a speed of zero that’s much better okay it’s going round and we only really need to add one extra command block and the command block we’re going to add will teleport that arm stand to us chain always active chain Execute and we’re going to execute at the player at the player and we are going to run teleport any entity with the tag follow player where we’re going to teleport them to the players coordinates because we’re running at the player xyz there we go Now if we do an f5 we can see the particles are going around me well that looks ugly so let’s make that arm stand invisible let’s press punch get rid of it let’s make the arm stand invisible in this evil 1b done summon him excellent now we’ve got some flames going around us But there is a problem and the problem is that i’ve moved if i stand still that armor stand is still in front of me if i try and right click on this command block i can’t open it because the the armor stand is intercepting the click it might be invisible but it’s still There if i move back if we run forward quickly we’ll escape away from the armor stand and then we can click on the block but if we’re standing still we can’t click okay so that’s not very good we need to fix that and we can let’s kill that arm stand kill At any entity type equals not player don’t do this on your map or you will kill everything that is not the player arm stands item frames all sorts of stuff now let’s not use an armor stand let’s use an area effect cloud area effect cloud these can’t be interacted with It’s already invisible so let’s get rid of the invisible tag and we know it doesn’t matter where we summon it because it’s going to be teleported to us okay so summon area effect cloud at the block and give it the tag follow player done let’s try this this is running And this is targeting things that are tagged so it’s going to target that area effect cloud now will this work no okay why is it not working well we don’t have an area effect cloud if we try and kill that kill at entity type equals area effect cloud You’ll see no entity was found why why why why area reflect clouds need a duration how long are they going to live duration let’s say um 100 done let’s try that there he is now i think 100 if that’s ticks that’s gonna be five seconds and he’s dead So we can summon it let’s summon it for longer but you might want it to stay forever so you understand this is ticks so 20 second 20 ticks a second that’s one second my area effect cloud will now live for one second will i even see him there he was This is an integer so if you want this to last as long as possible the highest number you can have for an integer uh 2 1 4 seven four eight three six four seven i believe two one four seven four eight three six four seven i think that’s right You can always google search maximum integer there we go now here is going to last well for a very long time if you divide that number there by 20 you will get seconds it by 60 you’ll get minutes divided by 60 you’ll get hours and you’ll find that This is a very long time this is more than long enough what happens if we put it higher let’s put it to eight so we’ve gone one higher let’s get rid of this cloud that’s here one higher up didn’t even see him doesn’t exist nope okay So that’s not working let’s try and kill him again no entity was found so that is our maximum number that will be more than long enough there we go and we don’t have that problem now that we had with the armor stand we can click on everything so that is how we make Particles rotate around the player Video Information
