remember they’re all up higher than this Um I can check I have a chart man I forget that I’m like like I’m organized and stuff uh um okay the next the uh the next one we had was on floor six let’s stop by floor six mostly Mangrove wood all right I’m just grabbing Mangrove wood and that that’s all that’s All uh we’ll we’ll build it out of purely Mangrove wood uh for CJ all right gas was one that we just did um this was this room actually turned out like pretty flipping good dude he’s got one of the the rooms that doesn’t have a window uh other than these little slits Here so we went into it pretty good I like it he used stole a conduit um yeah that one’s good uh the next floor that has a room finished is all the way up floor 19 okay um which one was the other one I which was the one oh Tinsley Tinsley did you Were you here to see your room I don’t I don’t know if you’re here now even I don’t remember uh but this was Tinsley’s the other one we did last Stream So it uh it came out get you a brown Bed uh something seems off about the height of your room to me but yeah CJ you are um so we have three blocks of glass between the two pieces of copper but you built yours based off only having two so you’ll have an extra block of Height um which isn’t going to hurt anything you’re just going to have an extra block of height that wasn’t in your build um all right raise the roof what do you want above the do you want the Sandstone showing through like where you have the air gaps is that supposed to show Sandstone there then this is our dump chest Um yeah cuz that’s that’s the only question the only thing I don’t know uh the answer to Is What like am I supposed to have more mangr shown black glass okay but that’s not going to that’s not a roof block you’re not going to get air you’re not going to get Ceiling like you don’t get air access you’re just going to see the slabs of the floor above you Right Dr Pepper is great all right um yeah there’s no Sky you’re in a you’re in a skyscraper on the fourth floor there’s like no direct there’s no Sky access um I’ll leave Sandstone for now and we can change it out if you hate it but I feel like it’ll be Fine um all right so we’re going with should I do the walls or the floor first I feel like I need what’s a what’s a good wall look like the walls are made out of randomly rotated Mangrove logs and with the occasional stripped log in there Too um that that’s what I see I don’t see a pattern it just looks like it’s randomly rotated mangrove Vlogs With mixed in stripped um So okay um I wanted those to all show bark on the outside so that’s why I put those in like that but I did want them to be randomly rotated Um okay I don’t know if that’s too much of the stript for your liking CJ uh you seem to have like less of it but we’ll whoa thunderstorm yeah that’s definitely way too much um all right I’m going to have to just focus on putting in Mangrove logs Okay all right then I can come in here and punch out oh wait I could have just stripped them oh that would have been a duh I’m an idiot I could have just uh stripped them but all right that seems about right to me uh then we’ll try the same thing on this Side all right um um all right okay hit this with a there you go just a few of those right there uh good good good all right uh next to do the Floor I’m going to cut out this floor here think the reason I did the walls first is so I didn’t end up uh doing a piece of the floor that would be covered by the walls right cuz if I had cut out the entire floor first I would have I Would have placed logs here where those slabs are when we don’t need them um so we’re good without those but I will have to probably do something underneath these very far Corner edges um what are you trying right so then these need to come out as well and they should be whatever the Floor is there we go yeah expensive coffee ohoh my mom uh for Thanksgiving we went over you know we visited family my mom has a uh Nespresso maker just like the little pod things Nespresso pods I’ve never uh I think I’ve heard you guys talk about those Before but I’ve never tried them they were all right they’re like little K Cups but different shape and I think for espresso not for drip coffee or whatever um all right so we wow that’s this is a really long and skinny room uh did I build this wall in the right place Yeah I did I need to make pod available on your site yeah you sent me your link I haven’t a chance to look at it CJ all right um also are you looking for me to tear it apart or like be nice about got it all right I need to see what the Floor is going to make out of this uh what the floor is going to be made out of uh I guess first is I’m just going to do the entire floor in logs are they all going the same direction I think they are uh all right Looks like all the floors is going in the same direction oh I just realized I needed to grab those wood pieces for the um over here CJ’s entire identity is coffee indeed so I can put these there and right this will that’ll do and then from the outside right you can see The floor all right I wow I didn’t actually realize that the floor was made out of the same as the wall Cup O Joe oh my God uh how’d you know Master cup of joe yeah we definitely don’t have enough Mangrove logs ah I mean I don’t think we Have any more logs in use uh oh no the front wall you sent me yeah the front wall here um has got to be wait hold on one two 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 your wall it it’s one Block skinny your your model is one block skinnier um than it should be it’s seven well it’s including these right including the walls this front wall would be nine blocks across yeah the inside is seven but so that would mean your front wall needs to be eight blocks or nine Blocks cuz it’s seven plus one on either side it’s fine it’s going to be on the left side because it needs to be on the left side for your door to be right um all right uh here we go cuz you have to have we have to basically have like this So that your door is here and your door isn’t tucked into the corner right you don’t want that um unless you do um all right and then got another wall thingy here and oh I didn’t grab orange glass dang it throw in some of that here I’ll Just yeah that’ll look good I didn’t grab any orange glass so now you have a space here for the window and a space on the side of the door um I don’t know if you want the window bigger eh it’s fine um I need some sort of lighting up in Here uh so let’s start with hopefully yeah we can start with your lighting so shroom lights um and then I believe slabs and stairs and trap doors all righty H where’s the first light positioned relative to the door Okay So yeah your door your lights were based off of it being even I’ll just go for three instead of two um right oh wait they wer they didn’t go right flush with this anyway or I could go for one instead of two um so it looks like you have an Entire trim of this all the way around the whole place um obviously where some places it’s going to be cut out because of some other thing but for now I’m just starting with this um then you go for a line of those and you put in some of That and trap trap trap right and then where you have the air gap we’ll just leave the uh the Sandstone exposed and then you come here we have lighting and then like that with the Sandstone above it look honestly looks fine I think that’s a color that doesn’t hurt it Um and it lines up perfectly to the other side that’s good don’t know if I have enough trap doors for this whole thing but can always craft more and if we run out that means we we need to go three trap doors left all right I honestly think the Sandstone is not Bad and the Sandstone not not a bad compliment so you do see a little Edge there that we can’t get rid of but that’s fine so from this POV right honestly that looks pretty nice why did I sound so Surprised excuse you chat all right Um all right so now he’s got all these tables around here um it won’t be visible well I’ll make a point to look at it all right yeah we’re running really low on logs um we got a lot lot of planks to craft a lot of stuff still though Um I’m going to need these stairs I’m going to need the Pistons I’m going to need Spruce fences and aelia boes not going to need any more of those um and then I’m going to need normal fences all right and I should be able to make this first Booth section here so me Start off with this now yours are two blocks tall and we now have room for three so I’m assuming you probably want me to variate just two blocks and three blocks tall um so seat seat now the thing thing is right you have an extended piston There how the heck am I supposed to get out of this without leaving a block behind um I can take I can take some of these with me now this one will be able to hide with honestly I’ll grab levers instead of redstone blocks but they’re going to Take up the same amount of space see this one I can hide by putting a lever there and pist oh crap screw it uh um maybe redstone block is going to be the best solution and I’ll just kind of put it well that one’s fine but other ones I might have to end Up putting it like underneath the seat underneath the seat would probably be fine especially if I did it on both sides then it would look good um yeah that doesn’t that’s that doesn’t hurt uh all right here I can do the same thing as well yeah if it’s up against a wall Super easy to just put it there um then fences we go one all the way to the top and then we grab these throw that again that’s fine I got well right you probably have yours underneath but a block underneath this piston is the roof of the person above right um So and I doubt they want me to put redstone blocks in their [Laughter] roof um all right so that’s this first Corner does look like you want some paintings up but we’ll come back through with paintings and signs and doors and windows later cuz I still need to get The windows I didn’t bring that um all right so then you have another one I can’t tell it’s right here that’ll actually give us more room to Walk This Way which which would be nice did I bring the fences I did so the fences will go here uh is the sign behind me supposed to Flash oh uh so that is something that happens with that’s a problem with some LEDs is they uh you know if you know how electricity works lights aren’t on they you you’re you know you have 60 H Hertz electricity or 50 htz electricity which means it it flickers on 60 times a Second in America right um and that mean and it’s out of sync with the frame rate of my camera meaning that it flickers it’s a it’s a camera thing it’s it’s it’s it’s a physics issue with camera refresh rates and electricity HTS uh polling rates whatever it’s Redonkulous um all right wait I’m trying to figure out um what it looks like behind here oh that’s definitely not right is that right I don’t know anymore I just what’s up dudes uh I’m going to just bring this all the way up um bring those across right bring that Down right I think that gets yeah that that does it well I think um and then we’ll obviously I’ll go grab the door um oh I actually had more trap doors on me just slightly more but more nonetheless so then you have this door here and oh I also didn’t grab the Normal sign non-hanging sign which goes right here and it says a line of equals Authorized personnel regular lights don’t do it but LEDs yes it’s a problem with LEDs because LEDs um yeah LEDs don’t always have that problem there definitely are um uh anti-flicker LEDs um I when we got that sign I just didn’t think about it I I Assumed I the the the I assumed that a sign maker for or who like directly advertises um you know making signs for like stream logos and stuff would have a uh anti flicker LED but um but whatever Um okay now what is the rhyme or reason to your floors changing CJ yep yep by you can’t trust nobody um all right so what so I see it’s in these spots on all the floors that you have water logged trap doors gosh dang it Oh my God you’re going to this is going to make it a pain for the people with the floor beneath you cuz when I rip out their ceiling it’s going to pour water down on them uh but I mean that’s not that big of a deal um I didn’t bring water buckets Um well no reason that no that’s not what I meant by reason I meant like pattern not rhyme or reason you know it’s like a uh whatever um I’ll figure it out um it looks like you have occasional like so right here from what I can tell you have doot Doot doot followed by doot doot dude and whereas these two would be those oh this one too because it’s underneath but then this one would be nyum with that right uh you did it at random oh it totally looks like you have some sort of pattern Which is maybe why I couldn’t figure out the pattern because it looks so close um okay I’m deciding that’s good enough um I need a brewing stand in here I also two blocks forward you have a spruce trap door um then here is a spruce trapo and then here’s some nyum the thingy a bob and then here is Some nium with a thingy bought and that is going to be visible from the outside so love that uh and that’s it all I’m missing from this is oh um the singular chest would go there you will be able to see down into the floor the room belows ceiling Through that crack technically so if they change out their ceiling to something really jarring it will be visible but you know that’s just part of the part of the uh fun here uh all oh and then brown bed will sit right here a singular brown bed no his lights are in the Ceiling um it’s perfect appreciate that and then yeah that’s this is uh literally it oh wait is this supposed to be a oh it’s supposed to be a going to do a simultaneous 1.2.2 and 1 1203 release for replay mod or something like That um and I’ll probably update Straight to 1.2.3 then um and Skip 1.2.2 but the question is should I still release a kernel pack for uh 1.2.2 just so that there is like a version of it that does exist but like I will have never played on it um Observer and raw gold Block M cuz I feel like I shouldn’t skip is our first like realworld use case for harvesting the Amethyst Farm are you ready we’re going silk touch through the entire amethyst farm this is going to take this is going to take an hour all right let’s go going down he get blaze rods oh man uh that pick has 2023 durability it does all right so we’re at geod number One um did that just grow up right in front of our eyes we need to harvest all these with silk um and the mine cart is off and racing now I find uh that this is honestly we’re not going to have any medium-sized ones or small siiz ones are we we’re Only going to get big ones from this Harvest huh and I’m doing a full Harvest because I said so all right like I know I could probably just Harvest one little geode and be done um but I’m doing a full Harvest because I want to so that way we have extra we have Leftover I will harvest those little ones if I see them because um well otherwise how are we going to get any of those [Applause] sizes see chat this is one of the reasons why we built the farm the way we did right so that we can come through and harvest It with silak touch if that’s what we happen to need right is that’s one of the that’s one of the main benefits of building um manual one is the ability to use silk touch all right so we’re done here but I am going to jump up there and grab those All right and we’re ready to move on see we don’t even past that again don’t even know for Sure There definitely is a good amount that aren’t fully fully grown though that we’re getting Um it does seem like we’re getting a bit further away from um the ones that we would have had loaded right see the ones that are like in in places that are further away from where we actually load constantly uh they’re going to be the ones that have like partially grown Crystals um which if we were here for the shards that would suck but because we’re here on a silk touch run you know that’s actually quite Good If you haven’t seen this farm that I uh am using before uh the the whole point of it is the sh the stuff’s falling on the ground hitting those trip wires and a mine cart is picking it all up automatically so I don’t have to worry about like my inventory picking them up Or my inventory getting full or anything like that um I just throw it all or I just let it all fall on the ground and the minecart will get it and anything that um does go in my inventory all I have to do is uh throw it in a chest at the end And the Minecarts will take it to the uh where it needs to go now it can some of these geod are so large they can be the minecart can get overwhelmed when I’m doing uh the fortune uh version of this getting the shards but not doesn’t it does not seem Like with silk touch that we have that problem uh which is a good which is which is good it means we’re getting less but you know we’re we’re only getting one Shard per Shard now so which makes sense so I’m not even trying to pick up The stuff that’s on the ground but I just happen to be um and then when that happens I I come to the end and I throw it all into this into this chest and it gets handled and I move on and now I don’t need to worry about Collecting all those that were on the ground I don’t need to worry about collecting uh you know any of the ones that I threw in the chest they will all end up back where they belong um I do think I will have to like actually double check um that all the Mine carts get sorted because we’ve only ever done like one real Harvest before um and then we did have to go fix some mine carts after that um chat do you want to see me check that or do you want me to just like trust it Obviously like I can’t uh check it right away cuz it could take like up to uh 20 minutes or so after I’m done for the Minecarts to like completely finish making their rounds um so I can’t check it right away or else I might get in the way and bump some mine carts Unintentionally um check it I mean theoretically it should all work and everything is perfectly correct and but like the thing with Minecarts is like like a lot of things in Minecraft is even though like you have it set up absolutely right absolutely bang on they just sometimes just don’t do what you expect Him to right somehow a minecart loses its momentum going around a corner or somehow a minecart uh um gets um you know skips over a rail or the timing of a actually most of it is like uh the logic for the turns if it’s if it’s trying to decide Whether a mine sh Minecart should turn or not uh sometimes the mine cart can be moving too fast we left a whole bunch floating up there but nothing I can do about it now all right keyword should mhm fickle I thought that was a u when I read It I didn’t see that that was an eye at first I was like dang I didn’t know that was a word yeah we’re definitely getting several different sizes here these geodes are in more obscure places or they’re lower down or something that’s causing them to not have been loaded long enough to fully Grow every Shard and like I said that would be a problem if I was here trying to get um shards but I’m here trying to get the crystals themselves with silk touched so getting the different seeing this farm and what do you think of it you were There yeah this uh entire Farm was actually a sid trck for The 500 Club Tower so like we’re still we we started The 500 Club Tower got to the drown Farm portion of it and needed tinted glass so we sidetracked for like a while to make this entire farm and then we uh Then we got back to the to the farm uh to the drown Farm got the got the tower finished started doing the rooms and then immediately have to come back and do a harvest of the farm um again but with a different pick see we planned right for being able to do it With both a efficiency pick and a silk touch pick and we did a lot of uh or a fortune pick and a silk touch pick and we did a lot of fortuning’s silk really um so we were completely out of it as soon as the first room that wanted some in it comes Up uh which is just ironic that we spent all this this time here already during this same project and then just didn’t have any of these but we’re here now came in for the Redstone part that’s what made me follow you oh I love Redstone Stuff if you had asked me what kind of like content creator I was going to be like 10 years ago I would have said a a Minecraft Redstone or you know I would have I pictured myself like as a mumbo jumbo or an Exuma void or a raise work Or something I well back then raay didn’t really exist I probably would have put myself like hoped I would have been on par with Mumbo um I’m obviously not there but I did go a lot more into building and stuff than I ever thought I would Dang it didn’t mean to do that see some of these I’m harvesting like multiple times it’s slowed me down but like me The question is Chad are you going to be surprised with how much of this we get um and or don’t get like how much are you imagining is going to be in the shulker boxes waiting for us and like do you think you’re thinking of do you Think the farm is like going to produce way more than what you are estimating or do you think the farm is going to make like way less than what you’re estimating um I mean obviously you have an estimation but do you think like your number is the most it would make or do You think that number is the least it would make really um cuz there is no four Fortune here right it’s just silk so what you see is what you Get there will be at least one piece you know um Luffy would Agree Chad did you see and it it’s just it’s just so nice to see it’s just so nice to see that happen Um to them um though I I I did I did end up uh buying um Magic’s Christmas present um online she knows what it is it got delivered today um Best Buy uh TV deliverers uh brought it in kind of hard to hide that size of a bot [Laughter] Um we were going to buy it anyway though that was going to be her Christmas present regardless of if it was cheaper on Black Friday um So what Geo number is this eight all right so we just passed the halfway mark finishing geode 7 there we’re going to start from this furthest away point out on the ledge I’m on the ledge of Geod a new Roomba ooh nice I actually got uh my old Roomba working uh the day before we uh we left so we used to have just a a vacuum robot right and then when we got the new flooring in our house the we we no longer have any Carpet on the on that floor so we um we bought one that’s like um mopping and vacuum combo like Robot vacuum um and it sucked it’s horrible it was not as good at vacuuming and the mopping was was even worse and it was slightly smaller so it was getting stuck Every single night we’d have to find it so we ended up just stop look stopping looking for it and it would never get a chance to do its thing uh so then uh I actually got our old one set up for the first time in six plus months or or so Um and let it run back to back to back nights while we were gone Um and it got the whole house real clean or at least we hope it did yeah yeah these are amethyst buds um these are all from geodes and we just uh mined around the buds and then we built this entire Farm around all the geod that we did all this for Uh you can’t create more of these you have to find them but they’re very common like I have uh 14 geodes in this Farm all link link together and all of them are underneath my base um and these chunks are 116 chunks so that means all 14 of these generated Below y0 when the game was updated in 118 so like if this was an area that had geodes um all the way up to you know y40 or whatever the normal height is for them and not just below zero we would have so so many more so like I’m sure you can Find at least a couple under your base I’ll be my base is massive so 14 of them underneath it is is nothing but um you’ll definitely be able to find some either directly under your base or within render distance under your base uh I you can you can actually watch Uh the vods from where I built this entire amethyst Farm uh on my YouTube channel uh all the videos of the streams of me doing this and figuring out the Redstone and all that is all there then again there is also like actual tutorials by by people on YouTube um which will be a little bit more straight to the point and not like several hundred hours of videos but but if uh you know you got time to kill views to do we’re just here vibing dude y yeah I got all of these under my base so They just uh slowly grow up over time as I exist in my base and then today we needed some so here we are doing a full Harvest oh crap I fell ah this is one of the geod where Bedrock got in the way and we had to leave some out where the Heck is my stairs here they are bro I just did the exact same thing oh I almost didn’t hold down shift in time all right yeah I actually had to break a couple geod for the string and then we obviously left a couple in the floor um as decorational pieces Which if you’re using amethyst buds as decorations that’s how you know you’re rich [Laughter] rich I can’t believe there’s no way to claim them though or like to pick them up like you know people found out how to get suspicious gravel and suspicious sand like during the snapshots you know When they were first added and Mojang didn’t fix it uh so like I can’t believe nobody has found a way to obtain a uh an amethyst bud yet like I get it they’re not Falling Sand so like that’s probably the main difference as to why people Were able to figure out the the sus blocks but at the same time man we there’s ways to obtain bedrock in survival but not amethyst buds I guess there still isn’t a way to obtain the reinforced deep slate either too so I guess there’s a few things in The game that need to be made obtainable I mean they don’t need to be made obtainable it would be nice if people found out like a a uh you know something some cheaty way to get it it’s a way to cheese it not cheat but cheese it you know um I mean if you’re willing to cheat to get it all you got to do is slash give right if you uh if you got cheats enabled can I get that one I can all right that’s it same with spawners oh yeah I can’t get whoa almost threw away my Carrots spawners have been a thing in the game that you haven’t been able to obtain for ages you right what’s the use I mean t glass is the reason I built this whole thing um but like we need the actual shards for Decor or the crystals today for Decorations is what we’re actually doing this Harvest for um we built the farm for purposes of tinted glass though that’s why it’s so large we literally just need like a dozen of these crystals today but we had absolutely zero of any size so I opted to do a full scale Harvest of just Crystals with silk touch so that way we’ll never run into this problem again and we will forever have enough crystals um cuz that’s the kind of uh thing I do when I’m low on something m Doing so good this Shield’s just massive dude I love it some of them are just so so so large can I get that no definitely can’t I’m I’m going to be able to reach it from below I bet So so many crystals so little sanity I’m losing my brain I’m going insane all right I told you guys this would take like an hour didn’t I I wasn’t kidding either how long’s it been since I started this it’s right and there is going to be quite a bit that get stuck on top of blocks that we’re not able to get to for this geode But it is what it is it comes with the Territory it’s better to have mined them with the chance that they fall onto the ground uh than to just not mine them at all right Seeing the ones that fall on the walkways I pick up with as I walk down that’s why we start at the top and it’s losses they grow on Buds so we just have all the buds here from the Geode these are these Bud blocks are just inside the geodes surrounded by normal amethyst blocks and you have to expose all their sides that’s why they’re all crazy shapes cuz they just naturally generate like this m After this geode I think I need to take a quick bathroom break cuz I started this right around the halfway literally just went by here because we sent it and like it missed so if if it if it works while we’re standing here it just means That some of these are like really iffy I guess and that occasionally like you just got to keep letting them run their laps and they’ll eventually work maybe um oh shoot there is still some in here though so this was sent out um while this was still running Right probably because of the timer and then the minecart has not made its way back in yet jeez so we’re just going to wait again I could go in free cam looking for it but uh this is this is where that other one’s going to go there was two doing The circling and this is uh the other one this is this is the second one we got to fix shoot it’s 12:30 oh my God we got to get through this and then it’s chat was that the yeah do you see it right there the hitbox of the minecart caused the rail to turn early like the hitbox of the minecart Caused like how is that even a thing dude the m cart’s hitbox triggers it worked that time see like it just the hitbox of the mine cart trigger uh triggers this detector rail before the minecart actually gets a chance to make the turn like how am I supposed to Combat that combat that dude I don’t know I do not know I feel like the problem is I shouldn’t have this here it should just be triggered off of like this but then if we don’t have it it’s a yeah it’ll solve itself over time like it’ll just keep doing laps but the Problem is is now that this is actually filling up right we’re going to be sending this on another lap here very shortly um and then it’s going to probably because of the orientation or something it’s going to cause it to Circle over and over and over again uh but all the Rest of them are going to be in here except for that one and that one’s just eventually going to do its thing though luckily Mojang did do a thing a while ago right where they uh um supposedly fixed the reliability on Minecarts I think it was a 119 snapshot Where they fixed the Minecarts reliability so that they actually like um keep their momentum when they entered unloaded chunks and stuff like that a lot better um but we’ll see I’m just finishing my my lap around this to see if all the other mine carts are in place um I’m Fairly certain that they are um it’s just got to be this one mine cart now that just got back to that station’s got to fill up be sent on its next lap around and then unload and then get itself back where it belongs I probably should AFK um oh oh Look I should probably AFK somewhere in the middle of this uh Minecart system just so that excuse me I got the hiccups uh that Minecart has a has enough attempts to uh get itself back where it belongs some of them have depending on if they’re facing north west east or South um they some have one some have two detector rails um it is a the problem of them not working is dependent on their orientation some uh like if they’re if they’re facing north north south uh like for example they might need the second detector Rail and they won’t work Without it just because of the default state of the rail right cuz a rail when it has a uh has an intersection like that um I don’t know how uh like it’ll prioritize being a Northeast turn right but if you need it to uh yeah I guess the solution would be Going in re rebuilding them all in the same orientation that doesn’t have the two detector rails like that would be the ideal solution right every single one that has two detector rails rip it out and replace it with with uh the orientation that only needs one and then it would be more Reliable crap that is the solution I I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before but that is wholeheartedly the solution uh do you guys want to see me fix that or
