Hello my name is green and today i want to show you six hidden rooms and they’re actually all inside this very building in front of me and the first thing you’ll notice is that it’s quite a sizable house and the reason is you need a lot of space if you’re going to be Making some hidden rooms you need to make sure that the space you have available can compensate for all of the extra rooms you’re going to add so having six hidden rooms this is actually quite a big house so what we’re gonna do is take a look around this house first And i want you to see if you can find any of the hidden rooms around the house so it’s got quite a nice interior there’s a little study in here and bearing in mind some of these rooms have absolutely nothing in them at all there’s a bit of storage underneath the Staircase which is on the left hand side of the building there’s a dining room here some details a kitchen on the right here and everything in it matches a particular theme if we go upstairs there’s a spare room on the right here hasn’t got particularly much in it and If we head on upstairs to the third level there is a single bedroom because this mansion is just owned by myself so we’ve got a nice bed here and that’s pretty much a small tour of the house so i wonder how many entrances to the six hidden rooms you have found i think The interior looks great and you may not even suspect that there are a bunch of hidden rooms so the first one is actually here in the study if you put some items and a specific item at that inside not this shulker box but this shulker box it actually starts a timer And opens up the door this is a new technique obviously because shulkers are new and sorry to anyone that’s not on the pc version when shulkers are added i’m sure that this will work for you on whatever console you play on as well so i’ll go over how this works in a minute But essentially it works as a timer you need a certain amount of blocks and for this one we’ve used spruce and you put it inside the shulker and it starts the timer so once all of those blocks have fallen through it closes the door so let’s take a look At how this works the shulker boxes are used as a decoration texture on the bottom and that’s what’s going to be our facade for this hidden room if people check them they won’t actually see anything in them at all you actually have to put items inside now if someone’s raiding a base They don’t typically put things inside chests so if we go ahead and put the items in it opens the door if we go downstairs we’ll take a good look at the redstone so this could seem a little bit confusing but it’s actually quite simple so we’ve got our shulker box and Directly underneath it we’ve got two hoppers we need a specific combination of 1 1 1 and 18. that creates the item detector as it passes through into the chest that’s why there were two on the left it needs to be 1 1 1 1 18. and then this is the configuration of redstone With comparators and repeaters and redstone torches it’s fairly easy to copy or mimic and this was what will send the redstone signal all the way to the piston round the other side so how you put this together is determined by what hidden room you have so there Probably is a lot better ways to make the redstone and i’m obviously not talented in that particular field of minecraft so if you can make this more compact and better please please do and this is one of the more complicated rooms i want to show you today some of Them don’t even have any redstone at all so there should be something for everyone on every console because obviously shulkers aren’t in everything yet so let’s go back to the house and we’ll go to the next room available let’s head over to the kitchen you may have thought this one in particular had Something because it’s a little bit obvious so if we take a minecart we actually use this detector rail and put it on the stove we use that as a decoration for a stove fairly frequently so people may overlook that in general but if you put down the mine cart it Opens up the door sending a very simple redstone signal and then when you’re done you leave remove the minecart and the fridge goes back to normal so let’s take a look at how we make this the shulker boxes are here again to sort of keep the texture consistent throughout The house and keep everybody’s suspicions down low so we know that we put a mine cart down on this quote stove to activate it but what’s really going on here you may have noticed the furnace or piston texture inside the wall now that’s intentional because right behind that particular detector rail is a Sticky piston with a redstone block on the back and there’s a bunch of them there to sort of make it look a little less suspicious and make it look like the texture everything in that house is in theme and to deter people from being suspicious about certain things so when We put the mine cart down it extends that redstone block to start the circuit and turn off the piston to retract the fridge away from the door so that’s what it looks like from the outside and inside but when we remove the minecart it stops that again and the Pistons extend to bring back the fridge it’s kind of a simple design and it does need some tweaking so let’s go back into the house and find the next one and it’s right next door you might have been suspicious of this one but probably not for the right reason There’s a little painting down there and if we put an electron we can use a bug to go through a one sized hole a one by one tunnel and this is pretty cool i think people might find that hole find it suspicious perhaps but they might not know how you actually Go through it and that’s part of the fun it’s a little bit glitchy but after a bit of practice i was able to do it almost every single time i tried so let’s take a look at how this works you need to get yourself an elytra or elytra however you pronounce it And you need to set up a tunnel system so you only need a one by one space because everyone knows you can walk behind paintings with the sign in them anyway so to make it less suspicious we have the one by one because not everyone knows about this little trick here so Once you put the elitra on you need to do a very kind of weird jump and it will take you a long time trust me it does work it took me a good few times to get this right you have to jump and sort of crouch and Basically glitch your way in after a lot of practice you will get it down though and then you travel really fast through that little tunnel and then you’re into your secret room and once you’re finished you do another jump to try and get back in and you can See that i failed a few times as well holding down crouch allows you to sprint through the hole at a really odd speed so anyway that is roughly how you go about it so we have a bunch of paintings on the wall to make this look a little bit less suspicious Like i said earlier everything in the house is to deter people all the little details are there as a distraction underneath the staircase however there is another hidden room there’s a bunch of chests if you put an item in it opens up a floor panel and then you can take The item out and eventually the redstone signal will cancel and you will have a closed door again this leads to another room however there is a window there so people can probably see this from the outside but this house is just for demonstrative purposes only once you’re Finished we’ve got a couple of pistons that let you out again into the main hall let’s have a look at how this works the redstone for this is actually very very simple i’m not quite sure how it works i’m a little ashamed to admit but you put it in And it opens up the piston right there the redstone behind it though is incredibly simple we have one piston and a comparator the opening of the chest or rather putting the block in the chest sends a signal and it’s a normal chest by the way not a trapped one it sends a signal To the comparator which then sends the redstone signal off to retract the piston now that is a very cheap method of doing it the thing is when someone raids a base how many of them put items in chest much like with the shulker box one people tend to take items not put items In so that’s quite a nice hidden room but upstairs we have the room with absolutely nothing in it and i think everyone should know how this works you just throw an item behind the painting and in you go it opens up a piston this is actually a very simple and very well Known redstone contraption or trick and hopefully i don’t have to explain too hard but i’m going to show you anyway just in case you don’t know now i have the elytra on and i’ve got a very simple piston extractor and it kind of glitches i mean we use the elytra glitch to get Into the other room so just be careful when you’re making your escape hatches so we’ve got the painting here now behind it there is another sign so that we can throw things behind it it actually passes straight through the wall and onto a pressure plate on the other side which then sends The redstone signal to all of the pistons there are so many ways to design this and anyone with redstone knowledge will probably have a much better method than the one used here this is just for demonstrative purposes only it’s an incredibly simple and well-known idea for making a hidden room however i Thought i’d include it in here anyway next up we have the highlight i think of the hidden rooms because you don’t need any redstone at all now this is using a bit of a glitch and i’ll explain how it works in a minute but if you get just the right spot in This bed you fall straight through now i’m not sure whether people would work out that this was a hidden room under here but there’s always the chance of that this was originally designed by another youtuber called red normster who is a very good youtuber and i’ll link his video down in the description He made this for a decorative purpose only but i thought this would work really well to hide a room underneath so let’s see how it works because it’s not something i’d come across before seeing his video so it looks like a pretty cool bed design which is what he intended it To do but because it uses four fences or more you can jump straight through the middle if you’re very precise so underneath it looks something like this but how do we get that sand to be in its falling state but still resting on top of the fences well it’s actually Incredibly simple there’s no trickery here you put the sand on top of the fence and allow it to fall just one block and it will sit on top of the fence for you the only issue is it does start glitching out it starts sort of going up and down and vibrating very oddly To fix that all you have to do is read log and then it’s fixed and i don’t think it happens to anyone except the person that is around it when you make it so that was the final design that i wanted to show you for this video a big Thank you to red normster and i’ll leave his channel in the description everyone go and say hello to him i did ask him permission to use that design so that is it everyone at first glance this house does seem like a very over detailed house but when you look into it there’s Actually a lot of secrets here and i hope i hope i hope i hope that there’s at least one design here that you weren’t aware of and can either use as a hidden room or maybe you’ve got something even more creative to do with It than what i’ve used it for here and i do apologize to you redstone buffs out there that know how to make things way better than me and the crew uh having said that a big thank you to the crew just me pearl and bopbox in particular Helped me put these together along with coming up with some of the designs hopefully some of these are new and that i’m not just late to the party so all six designs i think were pretty noteworthy for this video thank you very very much for watching everyone and if You’ve got any ideas for videos please leave them in the comments below Video Information
