Then they have to upload content on YouTube and will get sponsorships and cash will flow, but it’s not as simple as they think. And if you are already pursuing then what are things you should take care of! You will know that too in this video. Please LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE to this channel to watch more such videos. See I’ll definitely say that Esports growth got a boost after 2018, especially due to the games like PUBG and Free Fire and then pandemic. Actually during the pandemic people realized that Esports could also be a great career option, but will Esports really be a good option for you in today’s time? If you have skills, The simplest answer is yes, but if you dig deep, you’ll understand the main problem, every teenager of these days wants to go to Esports, but there are only a few who became established only 2-3 people get success out of a large number of players And those who won the trust of the audience and became a brand that’s even lesser, like Ankit Panth, Mortal, etc. So when you’ll become an Esports player, you’ll win tournaments and share the prize money but it’ll take a lot of time to make your identity due to the increasing competition in India And I can guarantee you that here on every street every other person has created their gaming channel. As you all know that a good network connection is very important for competitive games and if you think that you’ll become a pro player with 1.5 GB/day data of Jio or Airtel, then the chances of this to happen are very low. Apart from the skills, a good network connection is as important As dips with samosas and you all know that every household doesn’t have Wi-Fi facility, especially those who live in rural areas, their data pack doesn’t even work properly so there’s no chance of Esports and middle-class families also can’t afford Wi-Fi monthly charges, and if we talk about the infrastructure, Then you should know that you’d need a good PC for a quality gaming good but not the one with high specifications but at least as much as that online games will run without facing technical limitations like lag or overheating problems. Let’s talk about CSGO which was the foundation stone of today’s top players, To run this game online properly you’d need minimum 4 GB ram. Yes! There was a time when it used to work in 2 GB ram but after the regular updates, to run this game smoothly you’d need at least 4 GB ram or more, And along with this, processors and all which are not even cheap. Bootcamps or gaming offices are only in metro cities and every person can’t leave his house behind. Now this is the major reason and due to this many of our talented players count not get into Esports, and their talent remains buried inside You also know that to make a career in a particular field or to become a successful person family support plays a vital role, And I don’t think Indian parents consider Esports as a career option because their point of view is very different, they are from the generation where gaming didn’t even exist, only Bollywood movies used to be there. Here I want to say something nowadays there are few parents who understand Esports and support them too, But the count is as little as the mangoes in a Starbucks mango shake and I don’t think I’ve to tell you anything about society’s comments. I know that it sounds really demotivating but it’s the harsh reality. If you wanna become a successful Esports athlete then you have to be in a big YouTuber’s team of current days or have to play for a reputed organization And to get into that team you have to work really hard in individual level, so that you can showcase your skills in best way possible and successfully make your place. To perform fairly for that team on a regular basis would be a challenge because you have to face different competitors And have to win the game as well. One thing that many people ignore but it’s as important as other things to know, every digital device’s screen affects our eyes tremendously, hence many people suffer from eye problems during long screen time. In fact, I’ve also faced many problems during casual gaming when my eyes get watery, Then just imagine that it’s necessary to practice for 5-6 hours for Esports players and how many problems they have to face to remain competitive but still, I won’t call it a big hurdle because in other jobs like software engineering or any other computer jobs There also you have to sit in front of a computer for 8-9 hours daily and the screen time is high there as well. Now another big issue is Government’s support. On one hand, Government is building a task force like AVGC, so that gaming and Esports can be promoted in India with the proper framework but on other hand the most popular Esports games in India, BGMI and Free Fire are banned here And these mixed signals from Government often confuse the players, so those parents who allowed their children to pursue Esports as a career, they also get skeptical due to so many problems and instability in career. Well, these are the reasons, Due to which Esports is a risky field to pursue as a career in India. If you like anything in this video then give you feedback in the comment section. See you in the next video. Till then, tata bye-bye. Video Information
