Welcome to episode 32 of Baz Brick VR
Today we look at the collaboration of two major companies. The set is 21105 which is The Village. The set is also called Minecraft Micro World The Village. The set launched in late 2013 and retired at the end of 2014. It is the second of the Minecraft Micro Worlds but it no longer was part of the Cussoo range. The set has 466 pieces and 3 exclusive microfigures. Maybe given Minecraft is block based the village looks like a great representation of the actual game. Each of the 4 sections has caves under and a different scene on top that can be moved around in any combination you want. You have 2 village houses, a farming area and a mountain as the four parts. The set originally cost $50 Australian dollars, 30 pounds or 35 US dollars. The set itself being micro is small at only 12 x 12cm or 5 x 5 inches.
The designer was Steen Sig Anderson who has since 1981 been involved in 119 sets including most of the early architecture series so his eye for detail has always been amazing. Easy to build but a nightmare to dust I have to say it makes a great display and especially next to the other sets in the series.
