Complex advanced professional all the ways to describe your awesome build sub but i have a question how do you do it all you’re always building so quickly i never have time to figure it all out okay sub i want you to pretend that i’ve never built a house ever cause i want You to show me nine starter house tips you can use to impress your friends in minecraft There’s no advanced materials in this video you’ve not reached diamond and you’ve barely got enough iron to survive so you have to be sparing but you still need to impress all of your friends when they come by you don’t want them thinking you’re a noob number one Okay so placing wood i think i know how to do that it’s pretty simple after all but wait sub why haven’t you crafted all your logs into planks you get more planks and logs so you get a bigger house right ah i see so you can use wooden logs in the Corners of your house you can even use them to create mid-wall beams and frames to make your build feel a little bit more outlined it’s going to take a lot more law gathering but it’s worth it to provide some additional details and changes in texture say goodbye to your Plain wooden boxes bye bye [Applause] number two [Applause] with some structure the house is coming together but something looks a little off all houses need a roof after all there are all sorts of roof designs but you’ve gone to a pointy one using stairs here can be really helpful and two Stairs also come together to form a point finally sub has outlined the roof in a different color block providing a more realistic looking rim that’s so much better Number three What is great and all but perhaps it’s a little overrated you’ve just destroyed my house so it’s clear that you agree sub when building your house things like walls and levels can begin to blend together or look repetitive consider gathering some different blocks from out in the world there are all Sorts of different colors to suit the style you want that wood didn’t contrast too well on its own and it looks boring you’ve replaced your first floor with varying stone blocks to create a scattered patchwork effect your favorite color is green after all so i’m not surprised to see you went with dark Green terracotta for your second floor none of this takes much work and all of your friends will love that you went the extra mile Sub wants you to go the extra mile and make sure that you’ve subscribed to the channel he makes these videos to make all of you better minecrafters number four if you want to add some windows you might do what this noob is doing he’s just plonked some glass blocks down and Called it a day but you don’t like that do you sub i guess you should teach him some basics Glass panes look a lot better if you want to add some depth to your windows you can use wooden slabs and stairs at different angles to create wooden frames ledges and even archways Walk a while and find some sheep using those shears from earlier grab some wool for banners you can even use those flowers you grabbed as dye to make some stained glass windows with banner curtains Number five i’ve tried decorating my house with some long grass what do you think no fair sub i worked hard on that i think it’s time for those shears again this means you can grab some leaves to make bushes around your base you can add vines but leaf blocks just Have more of an overgrown feeling Especially when drooping and dangling This house is starting to look much more natural and won’t stick out as much in forests I knew there was something i’d forgotten flowers there’s every color of flower you can think of in the game and you can find them scattered throughout a bunch of different biomes No one likes a boring flat floor either why not add some levels to your areas employ some high-rise platforms or even a balcony even one to two blocks higher can change your house layout from noob to pro open plan houses can turn out to look incredible with enough practice and it’s A lot easier for your friends to take in and enjoy Number six okay i’ve been following your steps the house looks perfect now and it’s all thanks to you wait that wasn’t it what’s wrong with the house now the shape ah when looking at other great minecraft builds of the past you’ll notice that buildings can have multiple levels and These levels can extend outward or inward to create more depth to your build this may look complicated but experimenting a few times with some random shapes can bring you closer to a modern looking house than you might think randomness can fuel creativity why not shut out a level here or add a Balcony there the possibilities are endless and once your ideas get flowing you can take that next step to becoming a builder number seven What’s a home without a fireplace am i right there nice and toasty ah oh ah the house is now on fire great perhaps something a little more fire resistant can help clear some space in your wall and get smelting into bricks bricks aren’t too great on their Own but as an addition to other builds they can fit right in Create an opening and place campfires to get that fire and smoky effect last but not least is the chimney polished granite is a similar color so can help vary the design a bit more finally some trapdoors for padding let’s just hope that they’re fireproof too number eight Okay i’ve took all of your tips sub i’ve made my house as good as it can be i think it looks great Okay i am just about ready to give up what now of course furniture that’s so important how could i have forgotten decorate your house to make it a home organize your storage and designate your rooms some carpets wouldn’t hurt either you’re using a lot more materials now so Why not add an automated minecart station that can send you up and down your mind quickly it looks like you’ve gone for a smelting room and an enchanting room Number nine it’s getting late sub your friends won’t appreciate not being able to see anything inside your house lighting it up a bit should do the trick torches torches everywhere that’s better sadly sub thinks the torches are overrated or at least when they’re just placed willy-nilly all over the walls What do you suggest then sub you can use iron nuggets to make a few lanterns they create a subtle lighting effect and adds more of a moody atmosphere why not add a gravel pathway too to help guide those weary friends of yours redstone torches are also great For creating a more dim light perhaps more suited for a romantic date it all makes sense now i can build just like you sub well maybe not exactly but at least it’s a good start i think i can impress at least a few of my friends With some of these neat tricks it looks like this noob is really happy with you too you should give him a high five oh sup what have i told you about high-fiving people with your diamond sword they don’t appreciate it Do You Video Information
