The viral cookie chain teams with Mojang for six square desserts inspired by Creepers, Endermen, bees, pigs, chickens and grass blocks. The limited menu launches August 31 and runs through September 5 with pre-orders opening today.
Crumbl has officially partnered with Minecraft for a one week only menu that turns the game into dessert. Starting Monday August 31 and running through September 5, participating locations in the US and Canada will sell six square baked goods inspired by core Minecraft mobs, blocks and biomes.
The full Crumbl x Minecraft lineup
- Grass Block Cake: square cinnamon vanilla cake with chocolate crumb streusel, cinnamon brown sugar topping, brown cream cheese frosting and grass-textured frosting
- Creeper Key Lime Sandwich: two square lime cookies rolled in green sprinkles with lime frosting and Creeper topper
- Bee Lemon Poppyseed Cookie: lemon poppyseed cookie with lemon curd, lemon buttercream and Bee topper
- Enderman Cookies and Cream Sandwich: chocolate cookies with brownie and cookie pieces, purple marshmallow mousse and Enderman figure
- Pig Cherry Blossom Cookie: pink cookie with maraschino cherries, cherry cream cheese frosting and pig topper
- Chicken Cookie Butter Cookie: marbled spiced cookie with cookie butter frosting, cinnamon vanilla frosting and chicken topper
US customers who buy a qualifying 6-pack get one random Mystery Spoon while supplies last. A 12-pack gets two. The four possible spoon designs are a diamond sword, wooden shovel, golden axe or iron pickaxe. A special Crumbl x Minecraft branded box is also available.
Pre-orders open today via the Crumbl app. The chain calls it their first character license, a notable step up from previous brand drops. Expect lines. Crumbl drops already create chaos. Adding Minecraft mobs to the mix will only increase the frenzy.
The timing lines up with back-to-school season when parents and kids are both thinking about Minecraft. Whether the cookies taste good is secondary to the fact that people will absolutely post pictures of their Creeper Key Lime Sandwich next to their in-game creations.
