What’s up everyone salt here so I have a tutorial for today on how to get to the 1.16 nether as quickly as possible everyone knows it’s coming out this next week and super excited but anyways let’s go ahead and get on to the tutorial here so this is the fastest cleanest way and The easiest way to make a nether portal that I’ve seen this is done by dream on his youtube channel go check him out he does a lot of cool videos but this is how he does his portals and there wasn’t a lot of explanations on how to do it so I figured I would do it at Oriel on it so what you want to do here is find a lava pool like I’ve found here in this Plains biome here and you want to find a strip before lava here now this is key and you want to place up a lock right Here so you want to have a block of cobblestone or whatever it is that you have in the early game and then you want to take a bucket here so as far as what you’re gonna need is you’re just gonna need some building blocks of stone Pickaxe a water bucket and a flint and steel I almost forgot to mention that but it’s only for iron and you can get straight to the 1.16 another but anyways you place this buck here place the water bucket here and then you want to break this cobblestone break the two blocks Underneath and then you want to grab your lava here and click some underneath and what this does is it creates the base for your portal so you got your bottom two and then your first two for the top section right but anyways this is very important here this Next part you want to stick three blocks up from this right here this obsidian right here on the right side and place a block over it next you come over to the left side here with this obsidian and you place two blocks right here so what This is gonna do is when you place your water bucket right here is it’s gonna stop the water from spreading everywhere and killing your lava pool and it’s also gonna make it so that you can build the portal here so you pick up a lava bucket Place it and you place it in place it’s like we need a four portal here and then you pick up the water right just like so and just like that you are into the 1.16 never like that so this is really easy it’s by far the best message method that I’ve seen but anyways guys I hope you guys enjoyed this has been salt if you want to see more videos like this please hit that subscribe button and if you enjoyed this video please hit that like button helps out a lot but anyways guys I’m gonna be coming out with a tutorial On resetting the nether because some people don’t want to delete their old worlds and start a fresh ones so I’m gonna be coming out with a video on how to delete the nether but not your overworld or and dimension but anyways guys this has been salt and I’ll see you later Video Information

In this video I go over how to build Nether Portals ASAP to get to the 1.16 Nether which releases June 23rd! ————————————————————————————————————————— The best method I’ve found was done by a YouTuber named Dream, many of you have probably heard his name. He has an awesome channel so go check it out here! https://www.youtube.com/user/DreamTraps ___________________________________________________________________________ (Edit) I’ve become aware from the comments that this portal building technique may have been invented by someone other than Dream. That said I’m not going to bother going through hundreds of hours of speed running footage to verify this. But I’ve updated the title just in case.
As for the thumbnail, I’m not going to bother changing it.
First and foremost because Dream in large part popularizing this building technique. Second, it fits the video because Dream is regarded by a large part of the community as one of the best players out there. As such it fits the video since it’s a tutorial for aspiring speed runners and Dream fans alike. Third, and most importantly of all, I’m lazy. This is one of my earliest videos so I’m not going to bother making a new thumbnail for an old video. ————————————————————————————————————————— Anyways enjoy the video! This has been Salt, I’m out!
