Hello everyone i think i’m live i think this is working i think you can hear me can you oops chat chat can you hear me question mark let’s make this text bigger okay i hope you can hear me i’m gonna wait to make sure people can hear me and then i’ll be good In fact let me do the um the latency test let’s see how long does it take for me to see what i do yes people can hear me okay so here we go latency test one two three four five six seven eight nine about nine seconds so it took about nine Seconds for me to see the clap that i just clapped okay so i have about nine seconds okay next question can you hear the piano that’s it do oh yeah that’s coming in a future video for sure but okay we we’re everyone can hear piano everyone here vocals this is beautiful I’ve got my audio session set up i’ve got minecraft set up i’ve got everything’s running everything looks good i’ve spent so many hours since the last live stream you guys it’s it’s been a nightmare but i’ve discovered some really amazing things so hopefully everything works today If i sound like i’m in a rush it’s because i honestly do not believe that 30 minutes is going to be enough for me to recreate jazzy no blocks and i’m feeling a little bit anxious i don’t think i think i’m going to fail today i think i’ve set myself up For failure but we’re going to do the best we can we’re going to see what happens so with that being said quick overview of today you’re going to see everything that i had to do basically to get jazzy noteblocks done so i’m going to start by just going to My minecraft world and showing you how i actually got the sounds because the last time i went live i showed my minecraft world but i didn’t really show you how i got the sounds and this time i thought i just had this thought a few days ago i said You know if i actually make jazzy noteblocks from scratch then they see me making jazzy noteblocks and all of the issues and problems that i ran into will be clear and we’ll have to troubleshoot or solve them and if there’s anything that doesn’t fit into this 30-minute video We can either save it for later or maybe i’ll ask you guys at the end what you would like to see in the next live stream okay so without any further ado it is 108 ish i’m giving myself 30 minutes okay breathe aaron you can do this we’re gonna go on your marks Get set go right so we’re going to start by going to minecraft and let’s make minecraft full stream full screen and let’s show you guys minecraft i hope this is working yes i think that’s working yes everyone can see minecraft great okay so i’m just going to start a New world we’re going to call this um note blocks live sounds sure um creative let’s do peaceful and world type wait a minute oops i didn’t want to cancel that great i’m already wasting time we’re going to call this note block sounds live creative mode more world options World type default customize this is what we want we want a preset redstone ready sure now let’s go classic flat i like the green grass okay classic flat use preset done done create new world and go okay so let me just make sure you guys can See and hear me it looks like my audio is still coming through looks like minecraft is still working okay let me double check the chat see if i missed anything important uh yeah okay so far so good you can do this aaron thank you i have my fingers crossed okay here we are What why are there slime spawning oh i should turn it back to peaceful mode okay options peaceful there we go all right back to game okay so what we’re going to need here is going to be very simple i’m just going to make a little circuit with some repeaters and some redstone to Just constantly play a no block and there’s a no block and i’m going to use some observers for sure there’s an observer that should be everything i need something to start the signal i just use a noteblock and i’ve never start single okay so we’re gonna get Um some repeaters there and so i’m going right back and let’s connect those together boom boom boom boom let’s make those all four ticks so i’m making them four ticks because when they’re four ticks then you know that there’s exactly 16 ticks total for the circuit to go around And i’m actually going to just let’s just do this um yeah let’s put this rest on the top there and then that red stone will trigger this snow block boom okay so if i turn this on it should work so let’s get a signal going into this thing You look at a note block and when i do something Great it’s going let me check to make sure the sound is coming to you guys yup the sound looks like it’s going out if you can’t hear any of the sound please let me know but i think it’s working if you succeed do a moonwalk what does your skin look like oh right What does my skin look like my skin looks like right now it looks like this but i do have a new skin that i’m working on this is one that i just found on some skin website for free and i kind of liked it i edited very little but that’s me okay oops All right so we got this playing and let’s stop it for now because that’s very annoying and now here’s the most interesting part is getting all the different sounds so we’re going to need in order we’re going to need the the click which is glass so the glass Block i’m gonna go white stained glass we’re going to need the snare drum oops i wouldn’t stare the sand block gives you snare so let’s get a sand there’s sand any kind of stone block gives you the bass drum let’s just choose that one chisel sound schedule stone And i’m going to use only blocks that were in 1.13 or 1.14 whenever jazzy no blocks was came out because there are new noteblock sounds that did not exist yet when jazzy no blocks was written okay we got stone next we need bass any kind of wood gives bass Let’s just go with the wood plank jungle yeah and next we need guitar wool is the guitar sound let’s go with blue i like blue um guitar guitar we got bells that would be the gold block gold block we have xylophone which is the bone block We need flute which is the clay oh harp harp typed in harp any anything that’s not a pre-designated sound defaults to harp so i’m just going to use dirt because dirt is everywhere um we need flute clay is the flute block so let’s put that there and now what i’m Going to do is i’m going to just place down one of these blocks i’m going to turn this loop back on and then so now we can hear this and i’m just going to stand here and here’s the thing when i first made jazzy noteblocks i didn’t know Anything about redstone i didn’t know anything about minecraft nowadays i would not do it this way i would actually go into the jar files and just extract the actual original sound straight from the game but i didn’t know how to do it at the Time so i’m trying to show you the way i did it the original way when i first got the sounds i literally just built these sounds and i didn’t even make a loop with redstone i just placed a bunch of blocks placed a bunch of no blocks played them and recorded the sound And that’s how i got my original samples so i’m going to do something like that today even though i’m cheating by using some samples so we’re going to go over to audacity oh quiet minecraft stop okay so i’m gonna switch to another program called audacity which is right here Okay so hopefully you guys can see me and audacity yeah okay that looks good i think you guys can see me okay and you know what let me just make sure this is okay good now i can see me and audacity all right so in audacity this is not the program i originally Used but i discovered that my original program which is reaper which i can show you guys right here so there’s reaper this is the program actually used to do all of my sample editing um bringing things in everything but unfortunately i have not found a way to show you Reaper and record minecraft at the same time so because i’m using it for vocals and for keyboard and sending it to obs and streaming and all of this stuff so instead we’re just going to stick with audacity for today it’s free it’s open source it’s powerful and i think It’s definitely worthy so i’m gonna do is just set this up to record mono and we’re gonna start recording and let’s go back to minecraft there okay we’re on minecraft this is playing we’ve got that sound There i just got all of the samples done back to audacity audacity there we go stop audacity and if i zoom out this is everything it’s done okay so there’s the first click that is a that’s when it actually starts great one two three four five six seven eight nine nine sounds Fantastic so this is the way i originally got the sounds out of minecraft and i’m just going to export these as a wav file let’s put them someplace like documents and i’ve already done this once practicing just to make sure it actually would work so i’m just going to save Over the ones that i had yesterday save over it yes replace artist name this stuff doesn’t really matter afro oh wait no this is youtube i gotta use my actual youtube name aaron grooves okay boom okay so that should be done and now we can go to reaper And in reaper i can pull in all of these sounds so my documents and there’s the samples right there so if i play this yep we can hear everything and i’m just going to pause for a moment to double check the stream and make sure everything’s working that looks good comments Uh turn volume up or press blah blah blah do you play okay i’m assuming that this is working because i don’t see any complaints saying aaron we can’t hear you turn your volume back on okay yes oh shout out to melissa melissa is a pianist and we are friends and she Is helping me by just checking out the chat and moderating and hopefully over time i can find a few other people to help moderate but i’m very very happy to have someone helping because it’s already 117. oh great we’ve already spent 11 minutes okay so let’s jump back into this So back on reaper and i’m just making sure you guys can see what i’m seeing yes okay you can see everything great so this sample i’m going to first i need to see what i’m doing we’re just going to drag it up to a new track Boom boom right there bam got that get rid of the explorer we really don’t even need this up yet oh actually no we don’t need that up yet okay so i’m going to kind of skip over this next part but here’s a really big question for all of you If you would like to see how i built all of my sample instruments to play in my keyboard that’s a question i want to know the answer to because that would take a lot more time to explain than a 30 minute video so i’m going to Kind of skip over it i’ll show you one i’ll make one sample right now one sample instrument so let’s just take let’s do oh but another interesting thing is that since these are exactly 16 clicks apart and i know how long it takes to click 16 ticks in minecraft should be about Um let’s see that should be it one e and a two e and a three under four you know one two three professors that should be 16 ticks about that speed and because it’s because that’s the tempo that i use for this that um that jazzy latino blocks i use Just the fastest tick speed for note blocks and that’s what i got so if i do that it should be i think it was 150 beats per minute oh but i don’t want to change the speed of this you stay and then let’s change the tempo to 150 And oh it changed at the wrong spot change it at the beginning sometimes software is not as smart as you hope yes so okay so see what happened here now every measure lines up with one of the samples because they’re exactly 16 16th notes apart so that’s the beautiful thing about this And then we can just cut this off at the end of this measure boom if i turn on my metronome you probably can’t hear the metronome but i just turned the metronome on and it’s just ticking so you can hear the samples playing on count one of every measure So let’s just for demonstration purposes let’s take let’s take base okay let’s take the base so let’s pretend that i cut all of these out and everything was fantastic and i had the base here and i exported this as a sample so let’s see how do i export this with You guys being able to see it i don’t know if i can easily so i’m just going to go to the screen untitled render you probably can’t see me doing this i’m just doing selected media item i’m rendering it and exporting it as its own separate file Called it untitled um now that that is rendered i can go and find it in the where would it be it would be in bounced i bounced reaper two bounced where i bounce all my files down and untitled which should be here we go untitled there’s my base sound here bass So there’s the bass sound so what i would do now is i would take this and i would want to drag it to a track so let’s pretend that i had let’s take this my keyboard and we’re just going to copy this entire thing so i don’t ruin my original and This one we’re going to call unrecord enable that one this one we’re going to actually get rid of this get rid of that we’re going to drag in the base boom it made a sample this is a program called contact is very powerful it’s not the only way but it’s One way it’s the way that i use because it’s very powerful and very flexible and if i go into the little wrench here you can see that there’s tons of options and basically this is what i did for all of my samples i took the sample that i needed I dragged it to the correct f-sharp because in minecraft they’re all on f sharp and then i raised it up two octaves to the other f sharp and now i have my range yeah i can barely hear myself i’m going to turn the volume up but that’s basically how it works so What i’m going to do now is i’m going to skip all of this and i’m going to just jump forward to pretend as though we had dragging all of our samples nope we had dragged in all of our samples and we were ready to actually make music So i’m going to skip quite a bit right now but like i said let me know in the comments if you want me to show you how i built the samples themselves because that definitely is a very deep dive and i have a couple of ways to show you One way is that i found a way to build samples with reapers built-in tools so where you don’t have to buy any extra software or buy an extra sample equipment if you have logic or cakewalk or fruity loops or ableton live or pro tools or reaper like i do Any sampling instrument any digital analog workstation the aw daw almost all of them have some kind of default sampler that comes with the software and audacity is not really for sampling it’s just kind of lightweight the one that i just recorded the minecraft samples in that is also free though in fact i’ll Put these things in the link in the description after this video is done so with that being said i’m going to skip forward now to the point where i had already dragged in the flute sample the sand the click all of these things and i have my Instrument set up and i’m going to skip over the part where i put my drum set but i’ll show you how the drum set works so let’s go back to reaper boom yes the pressure is definitely on because we’re already halfway through our time and i’m not I haven’t even started making music so it’s time to make some music you guys let’s get rid of all this let’s go to this and i put in some quick load instruments let’s full screen this there we go now it’s bigger yay okay so i’ve dragged all of my contact samples Sample instruments that i made into this folder so the first one we’re going to need is drum set and by the way drum set is not a default why does it always do this for some reason they can’t find the original samples which doesn’t make any sense because they are right In that folder when i redirect it to the folder it finds them and all the other minecraft sample instruments that i made they don’t have that problem just that one anyway so now that i have the drum set set up so what i did with this was i mapped keyboard to Specific drums certain keyboard pitches so this is the bass drum i have two bass drums snare low tone middle tom hi tom these are all just the bass drum sound just in different registers and then we have the snares which is the sand i put sand on here and then the low sand Click um higher click the highest pitch click and then we have for the hi-hat high-pitched snare drum so when i put these together i get something that’s kind of like swing all right so let’s actually start by doing that oh i should label these if i don’t i’m going to be Lost okay we’re gonna call this minecraft dash copy drum set and then we are going to just yeah let’s call this omni so it records on all midi channels not just on channel one there we go that sounds good and now what we need is all the other Instruments that we need to make this work i’m gonna need another drum set another drum set i’m going to need bass bass in fact let’s just keep going we need bass we need guitar comes in next then we need the melody so we need bells xylophone and harp I’m gonna set flute harp then we’re gonna need the flute and we need the flute synthesizer okay i think that’s all of them so let’s go ahead and get these done got bass guitar guitar next this one’s going to be bells next this one’s going to be xylophone Next yes so this is the tedious process it took me forever to figure out how to make this work and label everything labeling takes a long time bells xylophone um harp harp harp flute and the flute my custom flute as i call it flute synth synth pursuit flute synthesizer okay so let’s Go to this first one the second one and the third one should all be good oh and you know what i’m going to do i’m going to make all of these to where when i whenever i choose that track it automatically starts reading my midi input from the keyboard So automatic record arm when track is selected so that way as i switch around wherever i am it automatically starts recording on that track okay so let’s go to this one this one should be base minecraft base where you at where you at where you at where you at right there Okay so i probably should have given myself a rule that i was not going to build the samples on this because i just took too much time but let’s keep going and see how far we can get in the next 12 minutes okay guitar in fact you know what instead of Bringing all the instruments now we have the instruments that we need so we got the first drum set and let’s get some music here so 16th notes at 150 beats per minute is the same as triplets at 200 beats per minute so 200 beats per minute is triplets It keeps doing that at random places i wanted to do it at the beginning why won’t you read my mind delete no but you 200 beats per minute got it okay all right i don’t think you guys can hear the metronome nope you can’t hear the metronome but It’s going tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick i could throw in a click track for you to hear that but i don’t really need to oh now that i said that i have to do it okay track met metronome metronome metronome metronome metronome make sure To mention the metronome where’s the file menu insert track insert track template track i’m looking for the metronome item you guys probably can’t see the menu unfortunately the way it’s set up track from template why is the metronome click source it’s called click source okay great so you see this click source Down here we got it we got to click source now you guys can hear that yep i see the audio going through great so let’s just drag that out to eternity and let’s get rid of this if i can get rid of that why can i not get rid of whoa i put Everything on the side here that is weird can i just switch to yes switch to another template and now i can see everything beautiful okay so oh the pressure is on we had like 10 minutes [Laughter] oh my goodness we have like 10 minutes left well let’s get let’s get some drum Beats down and uh where is the first drum set there we go first drum set and i can get rid of that track don’t eat that anymore get rid of the samples don’t need that anymore okay all right let’s get ourselves let’s just make this a two bar loop cord That sounds pretty good and now i can turn that click track off great and now we need the effect let’s see one two two two two three two four it goes eight measures in the original yeah i guess we can keep it like the original So let’s just drag this out to bar 17 for now there we go and then let’s have at bar nine we’re gonna have this guy come in with a so let’s get a two bar loop for that oh i know what’s happening it’s on overdub i don’t want to overdub i just Want you to record that’s pretty good that’ll work for now and then let’s drag that out and then we need that bass drum which really glues us all together let’s drag all of this out just a bunch for now and this should come on bars 17 or the Bar before yeah the bar before two three four actually i want the loop to start there i want it to be four bars and let’s just start let’s turn on the pre-roll Oh wait a minute ah i’m recording on the wrong thing go down to that track this is nerve-racking Okay that worked Whoa gotta quantize this to triplets Okay that sounds good all right so we got the basis of our track down And these tracks are are probably too loud but that’s okay for now we’ll just leave them as they are Let me check the chat um all right seriously those just making sure i didn’t miss anything I like the song yes yes yes yes yes okay it seems like at least there’s a um There is yeah i don’t see any complaints about the sound so it’s nice that means people can hear it yay i’m going to continue all right so i said 30 minutes and uh it’s almost to our 30 minute point from the time i started actually streaming minecraft but i’m thinking Maybe i’ll just check in with you guys in the in the chats after this to see and i’ll just ask a question or so but for now let’s at least get the bass drum i mean not the bass drum but the string bass and the melody i think we can do that Easily in just a couple of minutes so let’s go down to the bass and let’s make sure it has the right sound yes it’s on bass great so this one’s going to be starting at bar 33 hey that primes this one’s going to be starting at 33 Yeah there we go 33 249 because that’s 16 bars boom and show all of that get rid of that and let’s drag all of these out and there’s a couple of things missing from this because they’re supposed to be a drum filled doom so i haven’t put that in yet and if we Have time maybe i’ll add in the drum fill but for now we’re just going to the base because we don’t have time to do anything let’s see if we can get this base correct on the first take I think i actually had one little mistake in there but that’s definitely good enough Yep you see my little mistake little extra note get out of here Yeah overall this is pretty good we’re gonna go ahead and quantize it quantize just means line it up to the grid because you know we’re humans and there’s latency and there’s all these kinds of things and we never play a perfect time as human beings but this type of music Especially noteblock music should be in perfect time because it’s time to redstone so i quantized everything to exactly the redstone grid that sounds pretty good so let’s go ahead and add this guitar next and let’s drag all of these out for another 16 bars let’s see okay guitar i remember the guitar Oh you know what we have to actually turn the guitar instrument on guitar guitar guitar guitar this is actually kind of fun i should have given myself like an hour because i was definitely overly ambitious to try to do 30 minutes yay guitar works beautiful okay guitar See if we can get this on the first take that doesn’t sound right what did i do for the guitar wait how come this isn’t deleting when i click delete something’s going on here record mode to input okay there we go that should fix it i hope G augmented seventh okay we’re gonna go with that second attempt Ah just a note hey that sounds right Quantize that to quarter notes You can hear that note that i missed where is that there right there there’s a missing note let’s copy you over there Fixed it’s the beauty of midi the beauty of midi is that you can fix anything at any time of course it takes time how do you remember and play the bass line for memory um at this point you know i just know how it sounds so i’m just playing The way i remember that it sounds and i played it i think i practiced it at least two or three times just to make sure i wouldn’t be completely dying during this live stream and the same thing with the guitar because i remember i can just hear that sound in My head i’m not sure if this is supposed to be for guitar pitches but i think it is it sounds right to me it could just be that yeah i’m not i’m not really sure if it’s three voices or four voices but the um the tonality is the same the Chord itself is correct so let’s move on melody yay let’s move these forward another 16 bars Okay i think i think i’m going to get the melody and i’m going to get the first crazy food solo and then i’m going to check in with you guys because i think that’s probably going to take us pretty close to time but i think you’re getting a really That’ll take us to i think we’re already at about 30 minutes from the time i said go so even though i’ve only spent about 10 to 15 minutes of that actually making music in in reaper this is still kind of cool to see how the process works so Hopefully this kind of answers some of the questions about how i got my sounds how i recorded them how i got them into to um reaper and how i use them in my keyboard how i map them to actual keys so that was the purpose of showing you How i actually did it and building it from scratch but i do want to make that melody happen so let’s see here we go right here this melody is not 16 bars oh you know what i haven’t set up these instruments yet okay let’s get the xylophone here Los alas los alas alosalo no what i’m not the wrong thing no i’m on the right thing yeah bells bells bells did i call the glockenspiel why didn’t i see it oh bella with no s great and now we need xylo xylophone beautiful and now we need harp you we’re going to Change to harp heart part par part o h after g yeah the screen is so small from where i’m sitting i’m sitting about maybe five to six feet away from my laptop so i’m looking at the screen on my laptop from this distance and i can see it but it’s it’s really Small i wish there was a way to make these letters bigger on the newer versions of contact you can make the gui bigger but on these older versions everything is just so small and this is me i put my screen my display at 125 last night Just to make it a little bit bigger and i still can’t really see anything okay harp works let’s get rid of the effects so here’s the thing finding out how to make this melody sound good took layering so i have the bell the xylophone and the heart mixed together If i didn’t do that it probably wouldn’t sound as good and let me make sure to make sure i know what that i think that’s it okay here we go Okay that’s not gonna work we have um i can’t make it loop i have to let it finish the phrase great job aaron and let’s try this one more time See the first time was perfect that time was a mistake that’s not good enough Okay that will work and hopefully it’s close enough to where if i quantize it it lines up perfectly to the grid so eighth note triplets Quantize Okay i think that’s good enough so now the flute now this was a lot of fun finding the harmony that made this really come to come alive as a melody the flute is the only only note that’s not playing d c d c d d c D e flat c d c the flute is playing f so that flute is first of all the flute is not making any noise right now because i did not set it as the flute flute where are you at where you at were you at we don’t have time for this Yeah um i knew that i was not going to get this done in 30 minutes but you know what maybe we can have a part two yes that’s what it’s gonna be we’re gonna have a part two i’m gonna finish this if people want okay so the options are finish this Or do you think that you kind of get the idea now that’s those are the questions so let me finish this flute melody i mean harmony and then let’s put the flute the first flute synth solo in and then we’ll stop there for today Okay i think that’s correct i’m not 100 sure but i think that’s correct i have to go back and listen or look at the music again but it’s something like that that’s very close and that quantized solicitors sound like all together i’m excited we’re gonna for the first Time we’re gonna hear the full melody with the beat with the bass with the guitar quartz so beautiful the only thing i haven’t done is mix them so there’s a chance some things are going to be too loud or too soft and mixing is another beast it takes a Lot of time a lot of energy but for now let’s just zoom out and just make sure we can see everything Yeah there’s definitely some things too loud But overall this sounds pretty good we definitely want to take the harp down That sounds better Okay i think you guys can hear everything i really hope you can hear everything let me just make sure that everything is going to reaper to obs to obs to obs 2bs yes it is that would have been very embarrassing if all of this you guys couldn’t hear because It wasn’t actually being sent to this one track which everything that goes to this track goes to my stream okay so um i’m gonna go ahead and put in that the first flute solo because i have to if i don’t i think people probably will legit be mad at me like aaron how Could you not do the first flute solo that’s the crazy part where green jumps up on the thing and goes crazy okay i have to put in the first flutes until the flute synth solo yes when i speak fast i sometimes stumble upon my words but let’s do it okay flute synth Yeah this balance is not right now Guitar is way too loud Now we’re getting somewhere bass drum is too loud Okay now we’re getting somewhere that sounds pretty good everything’s still a little bit too loud because this is distorting so i’m going to take everything down oops from you all the way through and take everything down a little bit Okay nothing’s distorting that’s good news so let’s leave it like that for now even though it definitely needs a lot more tweaking let’s just put in the food solo and then we’re going to call it a day and let’s get the flute flute where you were you were you flutes and flutes and Flutes and flutes and foods flute flute synth So with the flute with the flute i put this um the wheel to control the octave and that’s how i got that slide at the end so that’s how i got the slide at the end and now we are ready to record the flute except the fluke part is really fast and To get accuracy and timing there’s no way i’m going to be able to play at the speed just in this with this keyboard maybe with the xylophone i probably could what’s it is that right yeah i’m not gonna be i can kind of play it but i’m not gonna play it up tempo And get it correct no it’s here yeah i think it’s there okay so i’m gonna do something that we do in the recording industry often slow the tempo down and record it at half speed i even put a keyboard shortcut just to record things at half speed so uh let’s see here Let me make myself bigger for just a moment because i know you guys can see what’s happening over here but i have a wheel and a pitch bin knob so so i’m bending that little or i can go up a host up or down a whole step and with my wheel here I can go forward and back and that gives me an octave and i can reprogram those to anything i want but those are the ones that i chose for jazzy noteblocks because i thought it would be the best for what i wanted to do with the flute Okay so let’s go ahead and record that and then let’s wrap it up um half speed that is so funky okay so first of all let’s make sure the music actually completes the phrase that could be important there you go and now let’s try recording this flute Okay i can do this i can do this um or not oh i went to the wrong track back to the food track I’m not sure if it starts there or here i don’t remember which octavius starts in let’s see I’m gonna start it here Okay i’m gonna start it there and it may be wrong but that’s okay this is a remix Oh you know what happened it cut off the last note and i made that mistake in there let’s do one more take and this time i’m not going to have a loop record i’m just going to let it record until it’s until i stop it Okay i think that was overall pretty good but unfortunately i don’t know if i can quantize this easily because some of those notes were 16 and some of them were 30 second triplets or 16 triplets That is a mistake hit two notes at the same time that’s actually pretty close to 16th notes good job aaron so let’s go sixteenths and let’s quantize that boom and this will definitely sound better if you know what i should probably don’t need to worry about tweaking these right now Yeah i don’t have to tweak right now let’s just see if we can quantize everything except for those 30 seconds right there if we quantize these two triplets that looks like nothing got significantly destroyed hey that actually sounds great except i don’t like for some reason i decided to do vibrato here Because i was at halftime and at half time i had so much time i was like hey let’s do some vibrato but we don’t need to do it out of there let’s just take that out that’s better okay so now let’s get rid of the midi and ladies and gentlemen boys and girls Um youtubers and youtube viewers um and people who identify on different parts of the spectrum of human sexuality i have to get out of that habit of saying ladies and gentlemen okay because i am 21st century aware yeah getting off off track okay so anyway let’s we’re Going to wrap this up by just playing not from the beginning but just this last part where the melody and the flute come in and then i’m going to check the comments and then we’re just going to say goodbye and um i’ll look at the comments later Oh by the way i will go through and check every comment every single comment that is left today i will check so i’m going to go through watch this video back and just see all the comments so if you have an idea or a goal or a preference You can let me know you can also comment under the video once this is done and it’s just on my channel like normal and then let me know if you have a preference for what you would like to see next should i finish jazzy noteblocks Do the rest of this track or should i move on to something else like noteblock battle and those are the main two questions like finish this or move on should there be a part two or should i move on that’s the question okay so let’s listen to it Um you guys probably want to see the reaper too huh okay you can see I just remembered something So i just remembered something in this flute part those opening sixteenths they should each be really short they should not be so long i can’t make them any shorter than that instead of being instead of being legato they should be staccato And when there’s you get that articulation but i’m not gonna do that now because you know so this is the thing you can you can take any amount of time to keep tweaking these things and modifying them forever and ever and ever there’s no limit to how much time you Can spend creating anything and for those of you who are artists or musicians or even athletes you already understand this but um in noteblock when making jazzy noteblocks i had to at some point say okay aaron this is good enough you can leave it here or the melody sounds good or that flute Part sounds good but even after i finished jazzy noteblocks and i came back earlier this year and did the one hour jazzy noteblocks i actually tweaked the melody a little bit so if you listen to the original jazzy no blocks and you listen to the melody on the one hour Version the one hour version is slightly better the flute part is just a little more detailed it’s a little more shaped so um this has been a lot of fun it took i think i did about 42 minutes of actual making minecraft samples moving things around and recording stuff And then i did like nine minutes of talking upfront or something like that so thank you all so much for being here this is a blast i’m gonna leave a question in the comments just saying let me know what you would like to see next would you like to see me Finish this song with a part two or would you like me to move on and maybe i’ll list another idea and uh i think that’s all i hope i’m not forgetting anything huge thanks to the help from the moderator huge huge thanks to people who um joined The stream and huge thanks to people who came and left comments and joined early you guys make me feel like you know got some potential here we got some youtube potential so you got to find fun things to do things that are fun for me and fun for you So i’m really interested to know what you guys think and what you would like to see in here and yes i guess i’ll play you out as normal play you out with something i will play you out with um somebody had made a request for green’s blues And somebody had made a request for green’s jam so chicken concoction greens jam or greens blues i’m gonna go with greens jam because that piece yeah that’s the one thank you all thank thanks so much you are amazing yay okay you guys are the bomb and like i Said i will go back through and check all the comments later on so you don’t have to worry about spamming the same question 50 times to make sure i see it i’m going to see everything uh yeah so 2021 i’m going to focus more on youtube Try to see what i can do and what kind of fun creative outlets there are for me to discover and now let’s switch back to a sound that isn’t a sound that’s a little more natural like this one up here yeah midi keys do oh that’s it What is it i need to start practicing this more often because those are some nice changes to play over do Oh electric piano i’m gonna mute my microphone and just play some greens jam and then in the stream have a fantastic day everyone and i will hope to see you in the next one peace out Do Yeah okay green’s gem that’s gonna be the one i’m gonna actually practice green’s jam and get that down the melody and the quartz really get it down that’d be fun all right you guys later in stream Video Information

What better way to show how I made Jazzy Note Blocks than to ACTUALLY MAKE Jazzy Note Blocks? I can’t believe I didn’t think of this sooner. 🤓
This means I’m starting with an empty session and no music whatsoever! To be honest, I’m not sure if I can pull this off, but we shall find out soon…
