Guys we’re gonna give you the full first hand look at this game and see exactly what it’s all about those of you guys that are Minecraft fans let’s see some love all the way at home in the comments I don’t play Minecraft all that often

But I do like the spin-off games a lot like uh Minecraft dungeons we got Minecraft Legends now so this is what I’m down for the whole open world creativity building stuff I haven’t really dabbled too much in it but that’s okay because we got something brand new

The uh allays come in play the right Melody on your loot and they’ll gather all right uh hold ZL to enter build View uh move together Zone uh shows up overlaps a resource press ZR to confirm the placement to gather Melody what are you saying uh-huh uh-huh wow

Okay yeah yeah gather from trees nearby oh okay so this is what I’m doing this is a tree oh okay so they’re like taking all the little Minecraft blocks from the trees and they just hook me up with all that stuff kind of cool make your way to the

Uh okay so how do I over here reach fiction you’re the glowing beam of light yeah okay so what am I doing here uh how do I do this great hey dude uh let’s do that again this time play The Melody for the Gathering Stone

I guess I’m gonna do that oh okay here we go gather from the stone pillars great great go do that is it any of these Stone pillars okay select the hot bar to gather Stone okay got it uh hold Z to enter build position The Gather Stone press ZR to

Confirm the placement to gather it oh that’s so cool how many of these little guys do I have one two one I see okay I will build some stairs all right so ultimately you’re using the Olay to grab like whatever blocks are over here and

Then we’re gonna jump in uh and do this navigate to the hot bar all right press uh build View and then we’re going to press ZR to start the placement then drag up on the ramp it just depends on how you look at it up

To fiction okay I think this is it yeah holy moly whoa okay so this is it no I’m Gonna Cancel that oh that’s so cool so you’re telling me I can do this and then I can make some stairs just like that okay great

So I mean I guess there is a little bit of building involved sure it’s Minecraft would expect stairs are going to save you a lot of time you’ll use flames of creation to call your friends use the Flames of creation to call your friends to battle yeah please open the chest

Okay here we go so we’re gonna press the Y button to open it now we’re gonna light some Flames all right okay so we found a whole bunch of wood and some like lapis Maybe so press down to the combat bar we’re gonna go oh press Zeal to enter build

View I’m gonna build this dude I think and then I’m going to let’s see gonna go that one we’re gonna go build this thing no okay so I spawned this thing yes okay spawn three Golems hold y to spawn Golems while standing near a spawner okay okay so great good great I just

Have a spawner over here and I have like little baby Golems here they’re new to battle but they rally behind you use your banner of courage to bring the friends over to me the Army is full I have so many of them quickly press y to have them follow you

Guys coming over here hey it’s like Pikmin now we’re playing Pikmin let’s go guys all right this is great this is perfect so this is like whistle for Pikmin all right if you want Golem to stop falling use your banner again to ask them to stop

Okay hold uh to stop your Golems from following you got it so I just hold the Y button and then they just kind of Park themselves there uh you can also use the banner to send your friends any direction you want how do I do that

Send them over to fiction or what’s her name press uh to send nearby golems in the direction you’re facing charge oh that’s cool except for this guy dude go over there yeah okay so this is 100 Pikmin right now that we’re playing great all right let’s go boys we good here uh-huh

Okay hello little friends this is interesting the idea of piglets inside the well is terrible so we created some false piglets you could practice on uh with the banner in combat okay so I know how to play Pikmin I don’t really know how to play Minecraft so I’m good

Oh if I’m covering up the UI I gotta be somewhere else man this UI is just in a very bad spot let’s take a look so I’m gonna do this I’m gonna spawn these guys Cobblestone spawner so it’s costing me lapis every time I do this uh-huh uh-huh your spawned Army is full

All right great I’m back okay boys hey where are we going come on Pikmin let’s go I don’t know what’s considered oh get him boys And I can help too yeah I think we’re doing work uh not really where I wanted to aim but I’m gonna open this cage really quick okay so my other little Golems are attacking other people this is fine get them boys and it’s not like I’m taking any damage either

This is an interesting game let’s just say that let’s just say it’s an interesting game uh what’s over here in the golden spot all right come on boys you too uh-huh repairing structures build a carpenter Hut near the fountain to repair it where’s the fountain press this building hot bar Hut

Maybe I’m gonna put it where this gold spot is space is occupied okay so we’re building this okay I don’t know what that golden spot is they did not explain that to me but I think I made the thing near the oh this is near the fountain to repair it

I think that works dude the piglands are mounting an attack the other villagers need you they’re attacking another Village well that’s rude okay so if I’m getting this right the main gameplay of this is going to a village attacking any random dudes so this is Minecraft Pikmin pretty much but with building

I don’t know with building structures I don’t know farming materials all right whatever we’ll we’ll give it a shot we’ll give it a shot I’m here for an hour let’s see what this game’s all about there’s a Golems swim yeah they do apparently okay I’m thinking of other

Golems like uh from Pokemon but that’s not a thing yeah don’t worry I’m I’m way ahead of that there you go now we’re sprinting okay whoa whoa I just went oh this Sprint wheat I think that’s what I just picked up like if I if I Sprint through the

Wheat it makes me go a little faster like this watch yeah eat some of that so it makes me go a little quicker all right I’m into that let’s let’s check this out let’s do another battle images in another Village it seems more piglets off again should we go warn

These boys Golem plank Golem foreign yeah let’s do some plank Golem spawner once he’s done building it I’m gonna I’m gonna spawn some plank Golems oh my Army’s full of like the stone Golem so I can’t necessarily do that so I’m just gonna break this down oh gosh

S are gone we thank you we good here penguins are gone go to the Village chest at the base of the fountain for a surprise Marine what is happening build defenses around the village shoots arrows at piglands blocks Piglet and attack allows you to enter and exit your defenses

Arrow Towers will work well okay so we got a little Tower Defense over here all right uh am I doing that now are you uh-huh here’s an arrow tower all right I’m gonna build an arrow Tower right now look at this Arrow Tower all right make it happen

So we got an arrow Tower over here great you need to to get some defenses up around the village cool okay I got you I got you here’s another arrow Tower I’m gonna put it yeah right there that’s good uh allows you to enter and exit your

Defenses what does that mean oh so if I built like um a wall around here I could potentially do that right are we good are we all set here like what do I what else I have to build man I don’t want to build a wall like forget the wall

All right I’m gonna make one more Tower the pig ones are closed don’t forget that your goal wait are they coming are they coming at us Gollum but there were golems all right cool man all right so we’re gonna stick around Where the piglands are here brace yourself come on boys oh so I I got the arrow I made like five or six Arrow things and now we’re gonna get attacked the Patriots will attack from all sides so be sure to check your company all right bring it on where are they

Where else are do I see these guys 12 seconds left I think we won oh look at these guys coming yo I’m gonna stop them right in their tracks get em boys the attack is over but some piglets remain all right so I kind of like this so far seems pretty basic

You’ve done it it’s saved you’ve defended The Village collect additional rewards from the chest special thank you for doing well well the piglands do not give up easily even now they prepare an attack upon another of our Villages but this time we have the advantage if you can shut down

The pigment Outpost surrounding the village we might be able to push back this invasion so I what I’m not understanding here is as I’m opening this up it says you hit the resource carry limit and cannot collect the resources from the chest what are you talking about oh because I

Got 250 of the of the blue stuff right over here all right I guess that’s cool all right let’s go man give me some fast travel or something so I don’t really know the health of my Golems so I’m curious about that I don’t really know the Golem limit

Maybe I’m covering up the UI it says Five Little Angels I don’t know what the heck that is I got 890 of something dude I don’t know all right we’re going Sonic Speed every time we go through these little things here All right we’re figuring this out let’s go to the Forest Friends A mud puddle no thank you I need some wheat there we go there’s some wheat right there super wheat okay so now we’re going into the jungle biome I could jump straight across here yeah you know what I do like this game it just takes a little bit of getting used to

Don’t you worry about it I’m working on it all right is this a new piglet Outpost I hate to admire their engineering but those blazewell towers are pretty dangerous and their range is impressive right here get up there with a ramp all you have to do is play the right Melody

Yeah I gotta build a ramp they’re shooting arrows at me oh gosh oh gosh get them boys hey where are my boys at help where did all my Golems go well that’s rude all right I’m gonna go build a ramp first and then I’m gonna go summon some more Golems oh

Okay good built the ramp all right all right we’re gonna go uh Stone Cobblestone Golem spawner right here sure sure go for it um what is this can’t be built on that terrain okay good so I’m gonna spawn over here I lost all my buddies man what happened where’d they go

So I’m wasting all of my my spawned Army is full how is my spawned Army full what this is all I have just these three what are you talking about okay good so there’s a thing that you can do called recall in case they’re lost somewhere in the Overworld you

Could hold the a button and recall them so thank goodness because I was gonna say dude I lost all my Pikmin all right let’s go friends attack get em boys yeah I’ll lead the charge come on Golems yeah what’s this guy want take that piglet right out you guys got him

Okay so they’re doing some sort of work these guys aren’t doing anything get over here so if I press ZR and aim to where I want them to go I could send one to focus over there uh I could charge yeah I could just send one to go oh so I

Can kind of pick and choose the amount of characters to charge in a certain area which is kind of interesting okay okay understood I’m kind of understanding this now kind of understanding the game right so uh I can charge everyone oh yikes little creepers I don’t want to deal with a

Creeper they’re gonna blow up my guys Interesting the world is waking to the war where will this lead why has the text speak spoken like later than the cutscene what am I missing here this game like needed another week of development man that’s kind of what I’m low-key thinking here all right anyway we’re moving let’s go friends

All right so uh yeah with the ZR button I don’t think the game taught me that but with the ZR button you can you can kind of throw one unit at a time wherever you want so I guess that’s kind of cool nether spreaders pollution they create makes air breathable for the piglens

Oh yeah well we don’t want them to breathe so let’s just do this you have to beat them nether spreaders man do it boys are they is that working yeah I don’t know if this is actually oh yeah yeah so these guys were working absolutely they were all right come on attack

Okay I can see I can see this oh I see cobblestone Golems are great for destroying buildings they’re great for destroying buildings but the plank Golems are good against destroying Pig limbs so if there’s a big old piglet Army we want to be able to do that so yeah I guess

That’s cool I don’t know if it’s exactly like Pikmin where I could separate the species right like that would be really smart I feel like you can separate them and then I want these guys to go over there I want the plank guys to go after the piglens I don’t know man

And I keep on referencing Pikmin because that’s exactly what this game is funny oh thanks Joseph thanks for hanging out all right we good here friends let’s get out of here we just defeated the something or rather oh no there’s more oh dude go get these guys thanks

These look like little gravelers from Pokemon which is I’m all about it and they kind of do look like Golem too we ready okay well you guys are attacking that oh you’re through the wall okay so we made it through the wall get them boys good

Yeah you gotta help out because if you don’t help out these Golems are not so good against piglens yeah you can’t just stand by idly take some guys on two for one two three three hits on a on a piglet I’ll take on this little this whole army

Man it’s like I got a diamond sword over here excellent good job friends Okay so this is another fixture build a ramp Cobblestone golems all right great let me pick this stuff up oh I have Max yeah I’ve got Max 250 of this material whatever it is so I don’t necessarily need it hey hey what are you guys doing you’ll do my guys alone

Dude I this makes me just want to play Pikmin [Laughter] this is my Pikmin one two and three good job apply the right pressure apply the right pressure and even the tallest tower will fall thanks knowledge curious creeper is back and they bought a friend what do you think they’ll do

Oh good thank goodness Overworld travel is so slow okay here we go check this out knowledge what are you doing out there are working on a little something extra to help the hero didn’t know there were little bunnies in Minecraft it’s cute they are perfect they won’t be as friendly with the

Piglets I assure you that okay is it is it just me or is like is are the voices delayed from the cutscenes like what is happening is it because I didn’t update my Nintendo switch why Mossy grindstone Golems are excited to join you but I’ve you’ll need a special

Resource to build them I’ve written a Melody for you you’ll just need to build the right Improvement what are you talking about Open Your Song Book add the Improvement gather iron what is this wonderful now go ahead and turn the pages there you go now choose the structure

That improves a loot to play choose the structure you want uh to improve your loot to the playly iron Melody great now go ahead and build your iron improvements now go ahead and build your improvement gather iron enables gather out a lays to collect iron each additional Improvement

Allows you to carry 150 iron iron unlocks Advanced structures that can be used to spawn grindstone Golems Mossy Golems the first upgrade guns 25 iron and enables Village chest look in the forest and uh okay okay Improvement is a gather iron what are you talking about me ant this is everything okay your

Relationship with the alleys with every new Melody your relationship with the Lays grow this tune will help mine iron you can use it to build all sorts of instructions now you have access to iron you can build all sorts of stuff okay so I got iron I’m planning something I Know

It uh I don’t know which one of these is iron but sure okay well let’s go can I fast travel to it what is this piglet Outpost is that where I want to go yeah that’s exactly where I want to go okay so I can’t fast travel to it okay so I don’t

Really know what just happened I don’t know if that’s just me not being in the Minecraft Universe to understand why I need an iron for all of that or if it was the lack of instructions on all of that but it says now I can find iron cool I guess

I can build some really cool grindstone Golems I don’t really know the difference in a grindstone Golem and a Mossy Golem so I think that the grindstone Golems are just a stronger version of my little guys and then the um the mossy Golems are probably a stronger version of the wooden ones or

Maybe they have uh entirely different abilities whatsoever it hasn’t been explained so we’ll have to find out together move okay so the iron is the one that’s uh that I have 25 quantity of okay that makes sense all right so I want to find out how I’m going to build

Right underwater now that you’ve got the hang of using the banner oh come on what was he saying they can give specific commands to specific allies you just need one type or if you need one friend to get the job done yeah the banner that’s what I’m

Talking about that’s what I was I was trying to find out or anything hold Banner view direct your nearby mobs to charge hold this in your mobs to focus on a Target press a or X uh either button to send a single nearby oh let’s see let’s see let’s see oh gosh

I’m gonna see what this does oh so that’s actually way better yeah that’s way better if I did that then just like press the x button so I should be able to use the banner menu and do some better work changing but to what end is not yet clear to me to me

Good job boys all right I want to try to build some other like some other guys right so if I go over here I have new things I have a well house I have a masonry not enough resources to build the masonry permanently turns nearby Wallace Towers into stone with significantly

Okay that doesn’t help me out with anything gather Stone gather iron and Improvement gather Redstone gather Diamond okay that’s interesting for battle Yeah so I’m gonna do a grindstone Golem spawner it says spawns grindstone Golems fast charging disruptors that stun enemies very effective against ranged mobs oh interesting okay and then the mossy

Gollum spawns Mossy Golems support mobs that clear debuffs and and heal Allied mobs okay so they’re they’re not just yeah interesting I mean I’m good with these boys so I’ll just do a couple more of these how about this I’m gonna I’m gonna do this I’m gonna do some grind stone golems and

Spawn a couple of them okay yeah yeah we’re going we’re into this already let’s go boys fascinating so now I’ve got two types of Golems here this is actually really cool uh I gotta read the description of the grindstone Golems but uh I think it’ll be fine okay
