Video Information Minecraft’s Quartz was the first Nether Ore added, which used to look like this. Unlike Netherrack, fire does not burn forever on Nether Quartz Ore. Quartz looked like this in 2013, but changed to this in 1.14. Two Quartz Slabs placed on top of each other is stronger than a Quartz Block. Quartz Blocks were first revealed in this screenshot.
