akirby80 – Top 10 Minecraft Pixelmon Resource Packs (1.8.9) – Minecraft Pokemon Texture Packs

Hey there what is going on guys Kirby here so today I have 10 total resource packs for you to use in pixelmon which is obviously great for those having trouble trying to find a pack there will also be time stamps in the description for you to click on to skip to each pack

If you don’t want to listen to me ramble and whatnot about the packs just show you that you can get through the video quicker for you to enjoy and and you know click through the packs at a your own will I guess so I hope you guys enjoy thanks for watching

To start off I have the pixelmon faithful add on of course faithful is an incredibly popular resource pack for vanilla minecraft or any type of minecraft for that matter and this addon just continues to provide to that I know many people are probably looking for a more Pokemon e

Pack but we’ll get to those I just wanted to share this pack for some who you know would enjoy to continue to have that faithful minecraft feel this pack read textures items in the game including all of the ball textures the PC the healer some tools and other pixelmon items in blocks

There is also an add-on that is separate to this faithful pack that adds in faithful apricots textures so you can check that out too again I wanted to add these two packs into the video before adding in a more Pokemon ish feeling pack BT craft also commonly known as fax is another popular

Minecraft resource pack that you know has support for a number of different mods and also has various different versions for without different resolutions you can add in sphax textures for all of the different items and tools within pixelmon and you can find which resolution is best for you by

Checking it out on the BD craft download page and it will just give you a suggestion for your computer there which is obviously great for you it makes it easier for you to download which one is best for your computer alright so next up I have a pack that is for 1.7.10 but

It works perfectly fine in one point 8.9 also just make sure you are using Optifine along with pixelmon that shouldn’t be a problem because you can download the Optifine pics back in the pixelmon launcher just to make it easier for you this pack picks them on legacy

Ads in a number of different things to give you a new impossibly improved pixelmon experience if this is your type of pack this pack features better water and skies a unique and improved battle GUI unknown particles four mega pixel Mon all new Pokemon paintings a completely new soundtrack new sounds for

Things like the healer pokeballs the PC and more next up we have the poky box resource pack pokey bugs is a full resource pet or almost full resource pack because I’m not sure if it’s 100% completed the creator of the pack changed not only the pixelmon items and

Blocks but also the minecraft blocks in the game it definitely has a very Pokemon feel and cartoonish type feel the GUI is in the game have completely changed in this fact so overall you can see this pack definitely changes the game and gives you that pokemons feel

That you may be looking for when you even just like our walking around in game so it’s really cool the next four packs were created and released by the same person they were released on the pokéballs forum and the official pixelmon mod forum so they are similar

And they are different in their own ways and you’ll kind of understand what I mean by that when as I continue talking about them so the pack on screen now is based off of the blue and red pokemon game so this is the blue and red pack as

You can see it contains an updated GUI but along with that it contains an updated sprites for characters so the pack reader actually recommend using the pokemons from this generation these this version of the the game that the pack is based off of so you could use it on like

A server that is based off of that game or a world or mapper or something like that so for for blue and red you could use it in Kanto there is a comparison between the game and the pack on screen right now so you can just get a feel of

How they compare to each other on screen now is the yellow version of these packs so like the previous ones were based off of the red and blue games this one is based off of pokemon yellow the packs also update moves descriptions and the pokedex entries and the TM numbers so

The TMS are actually renamed in order to match the game stamps so for this case it would match yellows TMS and whatnot that actually probably took the creature probably a bit of research and time and effort to do so that’s pretty cool I really appreciate that there is a

Comparison between the pack and the pokemon yellow screen now just like we did with the previous pack on screen now is the gold and silver versions of the packs and this one is obviously based off of the gold and silver games and this one is probably my favorite mostly because I

Was a gold and silver kid so it brings back kind of those memories that was probably the game that was most memorable for me and I played both of them growing up and I just spent a lot of time on them as recommended prior Johto is probably the recommended mat

For this pack and there is comparison again between the pack in the game on screen now for your reference to finish off these packs there is a crystal version of the pack so obviously based off your pokemon crystal so we’re in order to wrap up this like kind of

Series of facts I have I’ll just say what these packs update so it updates the GU eyes like the battle GUI the Mojang loading screen PC boxes and more it updates the sprites and replaces them with the ones from the actual game from that specific generation and it changes

The text for move descriptions pokedex entries TMS and the title screen so finally to end off this little series of facts there is a comparison between the pokemon crystal version of the game and the pack on screen so now that we have all of those packs

Wrapped up let’s finish off with my two favorite pixelmon resource packs this bag here is the pokéballs pack pokeball errs is a pixelmon network server that includes multiple regions survival adventure custom plugins and mystery dungeons and this pack was posted on the pokeball arrggh forum by drops lee a

Staff member over there and it features some incredible changes into how pixelmon looks and feels in-game in addition to how the pack looks alone the images that were posted on the download page included shaders and it makes it look even more epic so if you want to

Try out shaders with this I do highly recommend it because it looks absolutely amazing this pack definitely adds a unique feel to the poopy baller server and pixel mod in general and it’s easily one of my favorite packs for pixelmon and I do highly recommend checking it

Out as it feels so complete and gives you an interesting experience in pixelmon to finish off this video I have my favorite resource packs per pixel mark to me it just feels the most complete and it just overall feels the most like a Pokemon game and it gives me

The best experience of while playing this pack here is the official project Pokemon resource pack project Pokemon is a collection of pixelmon servers that replicate the original game in an MMO type of experience there are a number of different servers that you can find with more plan for the future and this pack

Is recommended for those servers along with their custom NPCs that you can download you can download this pack with or without music whichever you your preferences and of course as you can see this definitely puts Pokemon into minecraft with all these textures this pack does so much

Great and even the little things that the like like the color changes between biomes it all just looks really cool the pack is just so well made and personally I feel like it gives you the best Pokemon feel it gives you the best feel while exploring and just playing the
