Jumping into a new let’s play and this is all the mods eight and boy oh boy is there a lot a lot in this mod pack now I’ve gone over and looked at several of the mods in here and I can tell you that this pack is jammed packed with new mods

That you might be familiar with um and definitely some good old familiar ones from the past and some Recreations of some mods that you might be familiar with as well I mean there is a ton of cool stuff in this mod pack and uh it’s not only just your general Tech pack

Right this is the Overworld Pack full of all kinds of goodies including RPG related things so we’re gonna have a ton of fun in this mod pack there’s so much to explore there is just two there’s just too much to talk about in the pack so how about

We get started right now I’m in this beautiful archwood Forest I’m of course here with my friend Pig and uh well I just got myself some food so I think we should Venture off and uh maybe find some new things as we uh experiment around ooh there’s

An orb I think this is from Elemental craft there’s all kinds of cool things in here and oh there’s a new mod that I’m really excited to get into it’s Space Mod so there’s a space mod in here yeah are these mini melons they’re tiny little melons oh it’s exactly what the

Mod’s name is delightful oh my goodness now just like with any playthrough first thing we need to do is find a place to settle down that’s usually the hardest part next is going to also be building but let’s first find our place to call home for right now and there’s tons of

Space to do that I think oh my this is what I’m talking about off in the distance this massive massive structure there’s going to be a lot of exploring to do in this pack hello little fellow oh he hidden his shell oh do we get too close he hides

Oh that’s adorable I’m just a little bit overwhelmed at the moment there’s just so much so many cute things going on at once now I will definitely be coming back to explore this thing first though we’re on a mission to find a place to call home

Early on oh my gosh I just can’t there’s shivas oh no I want one so bad I don’t have any bones oh they’re adorable I love this mod and this is added from Cork I just love these guys they’re so cute you know what I think this area is

Actually gonna be the best place to sort of get started because ours is such a powerful mod we should definitely dive into this first and uh it’ll give us a pick and all kinds of stuff but first we had to do a few vanilla things you know

Break wood make some chest make some tools do a little bit of uh well mining till we get iron and all that fun stuff oh boy that’s a fancy thing when we do uh when we complete an advancement oh it pulls up something fancy look at

That I have enough to get ourselves a stone pickaxe oh it happened again oh it’s so exciting when that happens well time to go and continue mining till we find some iron now thankfully in this pack there’s vein Miner which you hold down the grave key which is underneath your Escape key Boop

Now let’s not forget to be efficient now and to make some tiny coal for our furnace yes acquire Hardware finally I’m uh doing something with my life and inquiring things now that we have ourself an iron pick uh things are things should move a bit

Quicker now so we should be able to mine a bit further and hopefully find some more resources ah isn’t it iron pick of course it is now there are some quests in this pack all you gotta do is open up your inventory and click the quest

Button or assign it to a hotkey and first things first you’re going to end up on the welcome screen and all you have to do is accept this and we get a little XP and it talks about um all the mod eight offers a curated Modpack experience for those who like

Kitchen sink style mod packs which I absolutely do and with this there are tons and tons of mods listed here and I don’t even think all the mods that are in this are listed in this page but several of them are um and just a few tips and tricks we can

Click that go ahead and get some things started there’s already some things to reward plus the uh all the mod book so inside the book this is our first edition book here and this talks about all the all the modium tools and things that we’re going to experience through this pack as

There’s some there’s uh there’s some mods that are related to all the mods which are pretty cool now keep in mind that this mod pack is in the 1.9 and 1.19 or 119 version of Minecraft so this is the latest version as of the time of the recording of Minecraft uh that’s not

Snapshots so the warden exists in 119 and that’s something that I’m gonna have to consider when mining down because I could potentially stumble upon the warden early on that would be horrifying now as I’m mining I should go over some of the mods that are in here and I have some uh I

Have quite a few like notable mentions here um so as far as tool mods go right we have quite a few we have silent gear and Redstone Arsenal and then of course mining gadgets those are just a few because there’s several mods in here

That of course add tools as we go as far as big mods go we have create thermal mechanism reliquary uh we have RF tools we have Corey plus which is kind of cool it’s kind of like a BuildCraft Quarry mod there’s also productive bees new manicraft mystical agriculture modular routers mine colonies

Um Iron furnaces of course as a favorite in here integrated Dynamics absolutely wonderful as you can see we just mined this mystical agriculture we also have industrial 4 going immersive engineering hostile neural networks if you’re unfamiliar with that it’s a really cool like single mob farm sort of mod really

Really nice we also have FTB industrial Contraption which is an ic2 mod deep resonance which is a throwback man that is a throwback that is a power sort of power generation mod I believe man that’s been a long time since I’ve used that mod uh and then we also have

Computer craft and apotheosis as far as like some of the major major mods that are in the pack now there’s another one that I didn’t mention I wanted to save it till last and it is called Astera which is going to be sort of a Galacticraft style mod which takes you

Into space I mean that’s that’s pretty cool and uh yeah man I’ve been I’ve been kind of waiting for some newer uh updated uh updated mods you know as far as space goes because I love space Minecraft mods but as far as power mods go of course we have RF tools power and

Our mechanism and several things like that that I’ve mentioned the major power of course we have the power mod then of course for magic mods we have a cultism uh our Nouveau Roots Mojo to Sky which I I butcher that every time and then we

Also have the uh hexa High hex high hexa high which is a witchcraft mod I believe I’m saying that and then evil craft and Elemental craft these these are all fantastic mods by the way can’t wait to get in them as far as decoration goes we

Have a lot of them in here a lot of them supplementaries of course fantastic simply lights oh look at that we just counted ourselves some more of tool stuff simply lights uh we have uh chisel which is a re-chizzle I guess I should say which is a chisel mod uh cork which

Has way more than just decoration uh Mr Crayfish furniture mod because everything doors trap doors all that stuff and then framed blocks which is a way to make any block look like anything I guess as far as exploration mods of course we have some major ones the Twilight Forest of course standard but

It’s interesting to see blue skies in this mod pack um I have played through blue skies and it is absolutely fantastic so I can’t wait to do it here with all of these other mods because I’ve only done that in better Minecraft now small ship’s mod

Is a way to Traverse which is going to be really really cool iron jet packs which is of course another way we can get around and then of course the artifacts mod which adds a mini so many different things honestly it’s really hard to explain what those do like all

Kinds of trinkets now as far as storage goes there’s a bunch in storage sophisticated storage yeah that’s a new one and I can’t wait to get into that uh then of course we have our standards refined storage the addition for refined storage reborn storage applied energistics um there’s gonna be uh integrated

Dynamics has a storage thing um and yeah just many other things including sophisticated backpacks danks and also I have functional storage so yeah there’s just a there’s just a lot there so that’s just barely touching just some of the major mods that are in this pack because there’s over 300 plus

Now of course because this is in the new version of Minecraft well we actually go below why level zero and I think the best place to to mine for diamonds and everything is like down to Y level 56 like negative 56. so we have a ways to

Go to get down there we’ll probably run out of our iron pick by then hopefully we’ll find some iron but it looks like we’ve got tons of materials like I’m finding diorite and all kinds of stuff down here ah nothing like a bed to call our place

Home yep before night falls I’m gonna go ahead and set my spawn point and we should be ready now it does look like iron is best found around why level it looks like y level uh 16. so I’m gonna go mining around 16 and that’s all we

Really need to get started with uh nouveau so I think that’s what I should get started with kind of spooky don’t have any weapons to be able to fight off mobs zombie go back go go away I don’t I don’t have time to deal with you right now

Can’t do this but I did find iron look at that very nice monster hunter we still have to find a little bit more iron here wow the strip Stone cave is beautiful oh there’s just it’s just so nice looking and we should yeah should definitely find iron ore spread all throughout this area

Just like that oh some glow squid very nice I’ll take some of that oh my gosh and I think I just found my first diamond it’s it’s a diamond but it’s still it’s it’s diamond and it’s deep slate nice wow our first diamond how lucky

Oh boy when you come up for Mining and it’s nighttime out yeah yeah definitely time to take a nap oh sweet dreams so with our freshly found iron it’s time for me to actually go hunting for a little bit of uh sugar cane and I also need to kill myself a

Couple of cows so I can make a book so we can get into ours hey look there’s sugar cane right there Now to make our novice spell book which is what I want to get into all we need is a book and all of our basic tools and Bam we have ourself a magic book what a wizard Harry now with our book it is time to make our first spell so I’m

Gonna open up the book you have to set a hotkey to do this and uh we’re gonna call this mine and because I’m going to be creating a mind spell so that way I can trick things that seems to be pretty good um we can also use this to harm things

As well so we might create a spell to do that but our first thing is going to be touch and break and we can create that spell and now we have a mind spell now I have mine set to my mouse buttons on the side to open up the book and then to

Open up a will this I have set to V and so that way I can select mine and it will allow me to mine now if I have some my offhand it’s going to try and place that block as well but as you can see I

Can now mine and my Mana runs down quite quickly but it is really nice for mining deep slate because this really doesn’t care how hard the block is to break it’s just going to break it now let me preface that with saying that if it’s too hard such as higher than Diamond

Level yeah if you can’t break it with an iron pick you’re probably not going to be able to break it with uh with this either until later on now we did go into our Quest so we might as well well complete this and get the worn book and

Get ourselves a potion of Mana regeneration for basically nothing which is pretty awesome it did say craft our first spell we can go ahead and select that as well and then right here it talks about Mana now thankfully I know a little bit about this mod so it’s not

Going to be too bad archwood it wants us to also get into and thankfully we already have that as well so there we go we’ve just completed a bunch of quests thankfully we’re in and we’re in an R Nouveau I keep saying ours but that’s just how how like an American

Pronunciation would be and so that’s why I call it ours Nouveau I think it’s called Art Nouveau though now when it comes to setting up our first little base I’ve got this idea in my head I’m actually going to keep things fairly simple and I want to create a path

That utilizes these trees right here in combination and utilizes this area as a place to call our first little base this should be pretty cool so I just ended up eating an Elderberry and turns out the more a variety of food you eat the more Hearts you get in this

That’s gonna be pretty cool that’s gonna kind of push me to want to try and craft every different type of food so uh so far this is what I have let’s call it a tree house so I have the wood leading up I have some platforms which are gonna be

Pretty nice so I can have furnaces and a bed and all kinds of stuff in here but yeah this is sort of my uh my Art Nouveau tree house which is gonna be perfect for this now let’s go ahead and craft some awesome chests now unfortunately we can’t just use the

Regular planks we actually have to use a piece of gold inside to be able to get an archwood chest um so it does use a little bit of gold but I think it’s gonna look really really nice especially with all the contrast of everything else going on ah

It is a very nice looking chest I just realized this apparently I can you know take it down a notch in the dark mode setting just by clicking this very nice I like this like kind of gray that feels really really good but on in other words

Let’s go ahead and dive into more of ours Nouveau now one of the first things we can make that is going to help Propel us through this mod is going to be a scribes table this thing allows us to create spells for our book now I need to

Figure out what’s the best way to lay this out like right there yeah so we can click our book on here and this is going to show us basically all the things that we can make um and we can the spells that we can add to our book and this is actually where

We craft them as well um so what’s one of the first things we can do I mean we can make a crafting table so it says levels required three it is going to take some levels from us we also have the conjure Mage Light that is something else I definitely want you

Know what let’s do the conjure Mage Light as it has two items so we need a lantern and that’s not too difficult for me to to whip up um so we just need a torch I have one on me so we’ll surround a torch get to that so

We have a lantern and we have a torch and I should be able to make this um so conjure Mage Light Select right and it says toss the items above so I can click them on like that and you can see it’s getting to work and it is crafting up

What we have perfect and it spits it out now as soon as I right click this we have now learned that spell and now we have conjure Mage Light so I can go here and we can say uh lumos yeah let’s name this thing lumos which is perfect and then we’ll say um

We can do projectile I like the projectile light um and then we’ll just say conjure Mage Light and hit create um we can also go over here to our Color Picker and we can change what the color looks like I’m gonna go with cyan hit save and make sure everything’s created

And now I should be able to shoot a light that’ll be this cyan color very very cool and now I can replace my torches with something far better a Mage Light now I have gone out in search of some cows this is going to actually benefit

Me in uh one way it’s gonna allow me to travel easier but first I’ve got to kill them Avada cadaver Avada Kedavra come on Avada good driver you’re supposed to die there we go I had to I I had to this is a killing spell which is fantastic and uh it’s just like

Using a sword but I’m using a projectile so I have a projectile and then three harm uh that allows I don’t know pretty decent balance of mana and actual damage so long as I can actually hit them now that I’m back home travel should become

A lot easier on me so let’s go ahead and demonstrate that go to tier one and I’m going to go to summon steed and select just apply the leather on there and there we go this is perfect this is perfect this right here is going to be fantastic for

Traveling early on ah so let’s go ahead and create this and I’m going to say self summon steed yes I think this is gonna be fine and then I am going to name this accio yeah that seems pretty fitting and then we can go ahead and create that and this

Is going to summon a horse for us how cool is that and now we have a personal horse that we can summon at any moment and use it to go at the travel distances because this pack has a lot of stuff in it regarding travel by the way quick tip

If you have an issue getting slime early on definitely kill these jellyfish it’s weird that jellyfish are spawning in this little area but take them out you’re going to need that slime later on and all you have to do is smelt this and you get slime balls so it

Is nighttime and this is my first enemy right there hopefully I can kill it without it actually doing anything normally it spawns in wolves which is kind of horrifying but I actually need this item kind of nice so we got a wild and Horn so I probably should have checked the

Quests earlier uh because my quest when I completed this ended up giving me a random glyph which is awesome uh the problem is is we have tier 2 tier three and tier one glyphs and it didn’t account for the two other glyphs that I just made

So yeah but I mean these only give you XP anyways but it is pretty pretty nice that you can get a random glyph from this one and honestly if I would have gotten bounce that would have been fantastic or any of the ones that I want

To make in the future now I’m heading back down into the mines and one thing you definitely want to get your hands on are some of these Source berries now I got some of these potions as a gift um but these can be used to craft a

Potion we’re not there just yet we can’t craft potions yet but you can eat these right and it gives you the Mana regeneration which is really really handy for mining in these situations as you can see going down also look at this deep slight not even a problem we can

Mine directly through deep slate stuff like this though Platinum more we’re gonna have to uh work our way around for now I believe I have found something horrifying the skulk stuff does this cause a warden I’m so unfamiliar with this part of the Minecraft oh no if I make noise

Does it come after me hopefully not this is a skulk vein or Vine not vain I was looking at the ore skulk catalyst oh boy I think I should just be careful careful when wandering these areas good thing I have this light I can cast because otherwise

Oh it would be this would be horrifying thankfully I have found even more diamond there’s diamond right there and there’s a diamond up here wait wait hold on this is a diamond vein oh my gosh we just found three diamond um four diamond oh and here’s the uh here’s the resonant

Crystal this is from Deep resonant oh man I can’t wait to get into this mod I’m glad we found one this does have some residual power in here and it looks like it can produce 40 54 RF per tick oh kind of nice by the way I hear a skulk

Since they’re going off I just come down here to get some gold oh my gosh and I just found even more diamond yes I’ll take it it’s just hanging out right there wow this opens up into a massive cave is that even more diamond what is going on here

Okay we’re finding diamond like it’s nobody’s business this is Mossy stone brick is there a spawner up there look at this oh wow this is epic on the way back Boop another Diamond there’s something special up there it looks like a chest you know what I could probably craft a

Spell real quick that is a projectile break spell switch to that I might be able to break that spawner that’s up there oh the spawner’s gone oh my that’s a loot chest yes okay well that was a lot easier than I was expecting we have ourself our first loot chest

Oh and it has some good stuff a block of diamonds slime balls up my first bucket worker exploitation what wool received his double but the sheer takes day or the Sheep takes damage interesting and then TNT in that okay that’s uh all very very interesting our first loot

Though that was that was Pro Gamer Strat right there I wonder if I can get this guy no it doesn’t work it does work what I just killed a stoneling with that um okay well I was not expecting to do that that is awesome that means we can make

Ourselves a pick a ring I didn’t realize this was the uh this was the tunic that I ended up getting from that zombie after I killed it uh from that that spawner that spawned it and we did get a a gym that puts Purity whoa what was that okay

Now I’m not quite sure how to Sock it I’m pretty sure that’s something I’ll figure out in apotheosis but oh my this gives us plus health and run speed we we get a buff whoa it’s a firefly that’s what it is I’m not worried about it at all

But it just poofs interesting all right so I have one last thing I want to craft uh before we have to end today’s episode I know it’s it’s been a fantastic episode so far and I am absolutely loving it but I do need to craft this

One item this is going to allow us to create our first gyms from uh from ours so let’s go over here this is going to be the item it’s a an imbuement chamber I believe no no yes the imbuement chamber so it’s going to just be some wood and

It looks like gold so I think we need uh six of the logs or planks get that all crafted up and we will have ourselves our first imbuement chamber yes now this thing is very important this thing is very very important um so I’m going to place it right beside

This for now all I have to do to kind of get started is just Place lapis inside here and it is going to take some time absorbing the natural energies and Aura around us and as you can see the crafting progress once it hits 100 we

Will end up with a crystal now what is that oh my gosh we’ll end up with a crystal I know first we’re being attacked by a creeper um oh what a good job okay whoo cat came out of nowhere anyways oh that was some reaction time

So yeah once this hits 100 we should end up with our first Crystal this right here or Jim I should say Source gym not Crystal so Source gyms are used for everything moving forward and man oh man this is gonna be perfect and there we go our First Source gym and

Of course our book is going to tell us all about this we can use apparently amethyst shards to make them yes but this is going to allow us to craft some special Essences that are going to allow us to make some special um some special materials here or some

Special uh what are they called again I always forget the name of them these the glyphs so some special glyphs um and the glyphs well perfect we are going to be able to craft ourselves hopefully a leap if at all possible in a bounce or a launch I think

A leap is the one I want this requires aeriscence and the bounce requires AB duration yeah I think that’s correct yeah but it’s definitely not what I said earlier but ah guys I hope you enjoyed today’s episode of course if you did be sure to click that subscribe button give
