All the Mods – E09 – Automated LP, Demon Will Crystals, and Obsidian (Modded Minecraft 1.10.2)

Hello there friends it should boy here with another episode of all the mods and in this episode we’re gonna be doing some more blood magic stuff but first we’re gonna do something that we maybe should have done last episode because I am going to be doing a lot more blood magic stuff I’m

Gonna have to make a bunch more sacrifices so we are going to make another one of these roots standing stones that we’ve made before but there’s a bit of a new recipe we now need some rune stone but other than that everything is pretty much the

Same we’re gonna use a ghast here a bit of wheat Burnett sprig and an infernal bulb and then we can set those on fire also there are sound effects now hey there we go so this standing stone is the healing standing stone and you guys can probably

Tell if this does you can come over to our little blood magic area and we can set it down I’m just gonna put a redstone block under it to give it that redstone signal and it’s going to give us regeneration whenever work and it’s AOE so that’s gonna make it so I don’t

Have to eat as often I can just go over to my little incense altar get regen and come over and do more sacrifices at any time I need it and we’re moving really speedy now that we have our upgrades on our living armor we made last episode

And that quick feet six I’ve gotten a couple other levels on some other stuff but this episode I think we’re gonna take care of this whole sacrificing thing it is pretty annoying having to do manual sacrifices I want to upgrade from this I want all my LP and stuff to be

Automated so I don’t have to worry about it all the time oh but that regeneration stone makes it so much nicer to do sacrifices so doing that I was able to get 129,000 LP in my network which is gonna be plenty for activating the ritual we are going to do

Now so I’m going to gather up my ritual diviner the master ritual stone and a bunch of other ritual stones and then we’re gonna venture off into this house that was pretty unfinished before but now I’ve printed it all up I made a little cave sort of area down here I

Think it looks pretty nice and this was the room right under our blood altar so our blood altar is directly above this block I think so the ritual we are going to do is going to be the well of suffering to be hover over it it’s sort

Of a large ritual and it hopefully all fits in here if I actually get up to the master ritual stone let’s just hold down right click a little place all the runes for us just like before and hopefully that’s it because I did stop placing it

Looks like it did and I did forget my weak activation crystal but now if you right-click on this ritual stone it’s gonna take 20,000 LP I believe oh no it’s gonna say 40,000 LP nevermind and that’s gonna activate our ritual which is gonna do nothing right now to

Actually see what this ritual does we’re going to need to gather some loyal test subjects so I’m going to grab this capturing wand I found in some sort of dungeon and then we will just grab a consensual volunteer and then we will come down and place him inside of this

Ritual and let’s actually first take a look at our LP so we have eighty nine thousand seven hundred sixty-six so if we place him down he is going to start taking damage every time he takes damage or LP is gonna go up now the reason this is actually happening is because the

Well of suffering is going to damage any mob inside of its little AOE and it’s going to generate LP from that mob every time it does a tick of damage so it takes two LP to deal one ticket damage to a mob and then that pickup damage is

Going to put eight LP into our blood altar so that’s a net gain of eight LP or each mob damage tick sort of you understand that and so by just putting our blood orb in there it was sucking that up automatically so this ritual is a way to harvest LP from mobs rather

Than harvest it from our own life force which is a lot better and easier on my body so in order to get pretty much infinite LP we’re going to use a little trick with this graveyard soil from tinker construct so I’m going to go ahead and

Set this down at each of these four little corner things I set up these aren’t the corners these are definitely these side bases and then I’m going to use this curse to lasso from extra utilities to capture some mobs now the thing with the cursed lasso is that you

Have to get the mob down to like two hearts or so before you can capture it unlike other capturing devices and the reason we’re using a curse to lasso instead of capturing wand is basically capturing wand essentially removes a heart from a mob like permanently whenever you release it so I was trying

To put some mobs in here earlier and they kept coming out with less hearts than I captured him with a knight probably figured out that it did that but this purse lasso doesn’t do that so we can release that zombie onto this graveyard soil and you see that that

Zombie just like instantly regained all that health so this graveyard soil as a tooltip would suggest is going to heal the undead and it’s going to heal it really really rapidly so if you just named this zombie it’ll never D spawn and it’ll never die because it’s healing

Faster than its taking damage so we will always have a nice little zombie giving us some LPS and also another thing I didn’t realize is that T well of suffering actually gives you 20 LP per tick instead of 10 as I was saying before I’m pretty bad at math so I

Couldn’t see what’s going up by joining so this one I’m gonna do I’m just gonna keep catching zombies and putting them in these little chambers naming them as I get more zombies I will get more and more LP going and these guys still are not dying which is perfect also I know

That witches are pretty popular for the well of suffering because they are going to drink potions and heal up faster than they’re taking damage because of their health potions we could have also used like you know Andreo spawn or whatever but I like this method I like having

These same mobs and the great red soil seems pretty good and that’s got the last zombie that I’m gonna put in here so in total if you get places I have 15 zombies you can hear them all very clearly so I’ve got 15 zombies and

It works out to be about 270 LP well exactly 200 MB LV every little tick of the well of suffering that’s because it subtracts two for actually dealing damage than 20 so it’s 18 / zombie 18 Dayna math but yeah that’s a great I am pretty happy with and just running

Around getting all the zombies I was able to get up to 380,000 LP which is pretty you needed you want to get well of suffer and I got just the fix for this little baby let’s just set that right down oh yeah something that we can actually hear ourselves I think we

Should actually use this LP for something so we are going to do another ritual and we are going to do the serenade of the nether so we place down our master ritual stone hold it right click and it’s only gonna place those four blocks one right there as well and

Now whenever we activate it with our weak activation crystal it’s of course going to use up some LP and it’s going to generate some lava blocks so it’s going to place down a lava source block directly above the master ritual stone and anytime we get rid of that source

Block it’s just going to regenerate it and every time it regenerates a source block is going to use 500 LP from our soul network so it’s not cheap but it’s only 2 ticks of the well of suffering essentially so this is essentially an infinite source of lava as long as these

Zombies keep dying and we’re going to use this lava to make some obsidian because I would like to automate obsidian production so we are going to make a fluid collector so we can actually pick up that lava we’re going to get a couple of ender io tanks we’re

Also going to need some and REO reservoirs and most importantly we are going to get an alchemy table and we’re going to need a blood or for that and also we’re going to need to actually keep this blood orb on us so using this alchemy table we can actually create

Obsidian from a bucket of lava and a bucket of water and just any sort of blood or in order just give us a block of obsidian so let’s place this down this thing place is pretty weird you got a place it’s sort of sideways for it’s a proper and then let’s start actually

Collecting this lava so we can bucket it so let’s place down our fluid collector that’s going to do its thing automatically and it’s going to like strobe-light us cheese least and if we place a tank directly on top of this or directly adjacent to this fluid placer it’s going to empty

Straight into that tank so that’s 500 lq per bucket but our system is going to keep up because we’re not going to be constantly making buckets of lava so we’re going to place down another tank and this one is going to be full of water so let’s place down our reservoirs

So you can give that to buckets of water and it’ll become an infinite source and then if we right click with our yato wrench it’ll set the auto output to be into this fluid tank or anything adjacent that block so that’s going to fill up with water so we can grab a

Bucket of water and a bucket of lava and put that into our alchemy table what it’s not going to do anything until we put in a blood org that’s bound to us because it’s going to take 50 LP in order to create this obsidian and then

We’re going to be left with two empty buckets and our obsidian in the middle so in order to automatically insert and output items into this alchemy table we’re going to use its directional inputs so if we output from the top it’s going to extract our blood orb and

Whatever else goes in these slots and we don’t really want that we want this bottle to just stay in there forever but if we extract from the sides so front back left to right it’s going to extract from these bucket slots so anything around this ring so we will set it to

Extract from the side and we will set that to active the signal is fine and we’re only going to extract empty buckets because if we didn’t have it extracting only empty buckets it would extract the full buckets that are being made into the obsidian so while this bar

Is filling up it’s going to extract before the eternium can actually finish be–make and actually right i set this to thin out mode to make a bit easier and I will sit down another conduit and we will set this to NL mode as well and on the insert we are only going to

Insert empty buckets I’ll do the same for the water tank and we’ll set these to extract always active so the cool thing about these end reo tanks is if you put in a bucket it’s going to automatically fill up with whatever liquid is actually inside of the tank so

That’s a pretty good way of automatically filling buckets and once that gets filled it’s just going to get extracted and then inserted into the side of the south table which is going to put it back in this outer ring and the same for the lava so we put in our bucket it gets

Filled with lava and then extracted and makes obsidian so if we just set this conduit to be able to extract mega deign a redstone signal those buckets are going to get put into our tanks which are gonna get filled up and then put back into our alchemy table and then

It’s not going to extract the buckets until they become empty meaning we’ve actually made our obsidian but there is a problem we got two water buckets because I forgot to put this on round-robin mode so now if we put this bucket into the lava tank it’ll get put

Into the alchemy table those will get emptied and extracted and we’ll get one lava and one water bucket every single time and so now we have completely automated obsidian all we have to have is a bit of LP in our network and I’ll be honest I did NAB this obsidian

Generation idea from booty toast a man I’ve spent the last four months of my life trying to emulate though I gotta be honest my setup is way better than his I just going to say it so all that’s left to do is just get this obsidian out of

The alchemy table and into our refined storage system and actually conveniently the big cable that had ran all the way over here is pretty close to this alchemy table so I’m just gonna place an importer and we’re going to whitelist obsidian and to get items out of that

Middle slot of the alchemy table we have to hold from the bottom and then give this a redstone signal it should start making obsidian and then that gets imported into our refine storage system which it does perfect but right now if we just let this run it’s going to use

Up all of our LP and it’s going to clog up our entire refine storage system with obsidian so we need a way of automatically stopping in this system so that we don’t get too much overflow and we don’t use up all of our LP so we are

Going to make a detector from refine storage and all we have to do is just hook this up with some cable to hook it up to the network of course and the detector is going to give off a redstone signal depending on the amount of whatever specified item it has in the

Refine short system so we can tell it monitor obsidian and then we’ll give it a value so let’s give it a value of 40 because I know I’m close to 40 obsidian and then we can say emit signal when under the amount and right now we are under 40

Obsidian so there’s a redstone signal going to this conduit which is allowing these buckets to be extracted in order for the Obsidian to actually be made and now it looks like we did just hit 40 because that redstone signal turned off meaning that those buckets are not going

To get extracted and so no more obsidian is going to be made and if we look we have exactly four the obsidian in our system and so this is a really good way of keeping a certain amount of items in your storage network at a time so you

Don’t get clogged up and you don’t use up too many resources and I’m actually going to change this number in the detector to 256 because I think four stacks of obsidian is plenty so once we get up to four stacks this will stop and

Once I use up a bit more it’ll make a bit more and our obsidian setup is working perfectly we have 256 obsidian which is exactly what we want so now that we have automated LP and obsidian how about we automate something else but to automate these demon wills for tartar

Gems it’s really going to have to go out and fight mobs all night to try and fill up my tartar gem and actually blood magic has a system where we can automatically make demonic will and fill up our gems but we are going to need a

Bit of space for that so I’m gonna have to do some clearing out like some orc caves real quick in just a little while later another cave has eroded away so they got one level here and we got another level below that all pretty similar size standard stuff but now

Let’s actually get into the blood magic so to automatically create demon will we first have to release some demon will out into the environment so if we have at least setting 400 will in our tartar gem it’s gonna suck up 100 and it’s going to give us a demon crucible and

Then from that will we release into the air we’re gonna have to suck that back up and turn that into some wil crystals so we’re gonna get these demon crystallized errs and those did a good number to my will we only have 400 left these crystallized errs took 100 and

That demon crystal actually took 50 instead of 100 oh cool Eid Oakley so I went ahead and took the time to refill up my comments our talk Jim and I also some achievements on to my sentence soared I put XP boost and mending so I didn’t have to keep making new sentence

Swords because they don’t have very much durability and I also put on looting and looting actually does give you more demon will for each mob kill so it’s really good to have on your sentient sword but anyways let’s actually set down our demon crystallized errs and crucibles so as I said this demon

Crucible is going to release demon will into the air so if you put in our full common tartar gem we wait a couple seconds and we take that out you’re gonna see it removed one hundred of our will and it put it off into the air so

It’s created an aura of demon will and there can be 100 demon will in one chunk at a time so if we bring up our chunk borders you’ll see that this is all contained in one chunk so these demon crystallizes as long as they’re in the same chunk that the crucible just let

Off its aura it’s going to snatch that aura out of the air and it’s going to create some demon crystal clusters and there we go it takes about a minute for these things to actually spawn and once they do all we have to do is just break

Those off and it’s going to take that full 100 demon will in the aura to create one of these demon will crystals so I’m going to keep growing these and keep raking them off for now until we finally get lucky and we get a different

Type of demon wall so we have a red demon roll which is the vengeful will and so there is a 10% chance that one of these for other types of demon whoa will spawn that’s 2.5% for each so 90% of time you’re just going to get this

Regular demon will but there are also some other things we can do besides just growing at these crystals if we set down a Hellfire Forge in the same chunk this can also sort of snatch out of the aura so if we put in our tort our gem into

The Hellfire Forge that’s going to start sucking the whale out of the aura and it’s going to put it straight into the tartar gem so you’ll see we have 31 left over in our aura and those didn’t get crystallized because it means 102 crystallized and so if you throw in one

Of these demon wall crystals that will get sucked up and then it’ll get put into our tartar gem because it’s getting in from the aura so each one of these demon will crystals is giving us 50 will in our aura and that’s sort of the idea

For the steam Yule automation we want to grow these crystals and really some into the aura so our Hellfire Forge and our rituals and whatnot can use them the problem is that we are growing these crystals at a net loss right now because it takes 100 to grow a crystal and we

Only get 50 out of the crystal so we’re losing 50 every time which is no bueno so to more efficiently create those demon will crystals we are going to use the gathering of the Forsaken souls and with this ritual we are going to be able

To get a net gain of demon will instead of our loss so it’s going to take about 44 rooms and then we needed our activation crystal here we go let’s go ahead and put that energy through the ritual and it’s not going to do anything right now because similar to the well of

Suffering we are going to need to give it some mobs to kill so I went ahead and grabbed a little skeleton friend to do some experiments on and we’re also going to make sure that our demon aura is nice and filled up so let’s put these skeleton down and it’s gonna start

Taking some damage and I make sure to also grow some crystals and these are one level above the lowest block of the ritual because this ritual needs crystals to actually act on so once this skeleton dies oh there we go I don’t think that my aura was actually

Completely full up and I also put it in another mob because I didn’t realize my demon aura was not full when those mobs died this ritual basically randomly chose one of these crystals and it sort of made a little growth on the crystal so now if you break this crystal we’re

Going to get to demon world crystals out of that instead of our regular one and also that second little growth of crystal actually came at a reduced cost so I only had 100 aura and normally two crystals would have taken 200 aura but I was able to grow to with just 100 and

There may still be even some left so those extra growths on these crystals actually occur naturally as long as we have aura in our chunk but it happens very very very slowly so not only does this speed that growth process up to pretty much instantaneous but it also

Uses less demon will so we can actually get demon well at a profit get a net gain of demon wool and actually to better see the effects of this ritual we can make an item that will show us how much demon will is actually in our aura so if we have at

Least 400 demon will in our chart our gem it’s gonna drain 50 and it’s gonna give us the demon will or a gauge so with this gauge we can actually see exactly how much demon will we have in our aura if we press ship if we just put

Some wil into our aura you can see it’s at 100 you’re gonna see that numbers start to drain a little bit also we get some more growths because I’ve been running this ritual a couple times but our will is draining because these crystals are trying to get up to 100

Will drained and when it does it’ll create another little growth so you can see how slow that process actually is but let’s go and release a skeleton so you saw that will number drop pretty significantly whatever that skeleton died that’s because it randomly chose one of these

Crystals and it told it yo dog suck up a ton of will right now that’s gonna speed up the whole process of it getting to 100 but she saw we were able to get a crystal at pretty much a decreased cost I think it only took like 20 or so demon

Wall and I’m gonna go ahead and just take out the rest of that demon will I’m gonna suck it back up and we can see that go down on our gauge so it’s really handy for knowing how much of each will type you have so now the only thing

Really love to do is to get a bunch of mobs for this ritual to kill so we’re gonna set up a little darker room down here for mobs to spawn but I do want to be able to disable the mob spawns if I ever want to so we’re going to use some

Wireless redstone from RF tools so we replaced out a transmitter that if we right click with our receivers it’s going to set the channel of all those let’s cover that up and put down a lever so now if we set down one of these receivers we flip the lever and we can

Place a lamp in front and that’s going to get a redstone signal and it’s just wireless redstone as you would expect so with all four lamps in here there are no places for mobs to actually spawn which is perfect and this lamp up here is actually going to stay on all the

Time this lapis lamp from random things is going to provide light but it’s not going to stop mob spawns so it’s pretty nice if you want to see into your dark rooms but still want mobs to spawn in them I also have a bit of dark glass

From Andreo which blocks off light and in order to get mobs to actually start spawning we’re going to use a drop of evil from s utilities and you these from killing wither skeletons and they really aren’t rare at all but if we right-click on a piece of dirt that is

Going to create some cursed earth and you guys probably know this from old XT utilities it’s just a new way of getting it but if you don’t know this cursed earth is essentially just a super mob spawner block so let’s block all that up

So no light can get in and if we disable this lever it’s going to turn dark in that room and mobs are going to start spawning and taking damage so you can see this cursed earth is spawning lobster rapidly are still very loud and they’re also

Juiced up with a bunch of potion effects so you gotta be careful with these guys they have like speed a million they’re pretty scary now something we should note about this little ritual is that there are diminishing returns on what kind of mob you kill so essentially it

Keeps track of the last ten mobs you kill and be more diverse the mobs you kill be more efficient this ritual will be on your demon roll crystal growth so it’s going to use less and less demon will to make a crystal the more diverse your mobs are and that’s why I think

This cursed earth is actually really good for this because it randomly spawns all mobs so that is awesome we can farm up that basic demon will but I also want all of the other types of demon mole so the other four types of demon roll so

I’m going to use up this regular demon will in hopes of getting some of that other stuff Oh Pulido please I’ve been farming wills for a while now just to get at least eight or nine of these for other types of demon will but before we can do

Anything with those really we’re going to need to upgrade our tartar Jim so right now we have the common but we need to go up to the greater tartar Jim and there we go so this greater tartar Jim can hold 4096 instead of the 1,024 we

Had before and we can charge this thing up pretty easily by just placing down a hopper and then throwing in a bunch of this demon wool and that’s going to automatically charge up this greater to dark Jim so we need this greater tartare Jen because we want to craft these

Separate types of demon will into one of those demon will crystals so we’re going to do this for each one of these we want these little crystal blocks we can actually place down to farm these other types of crystals and also the default type of crystals rather than the

Crystallizer it’s better in the long run and you’ll see why so we can place those down and even if we have we’ll in our aura these are not going to grow because we have to feed our or these specific types of will in order for these specific types of will to

Actually grow so we can feed our crucible are different types of will and that will get released into our aura and each of those bars represents our different types and you’ll see those are now starting to grow and a cool thing is if we have a Tartar gem with greater

Than 1024 demon will inside of it we can right-click on these crystals and it will harvest the crystals for us and we don’t have to break them so we can keep the crystal and all we have to do is right-click so we don’t have to destroy it and keep wreak wrapping that crystal

And it’s a bit of a visual bug whenever you do this it doesn’t update but you can see it does eventually stop so it’s not like glitched like we’re infinitely farming these or anything but I must say it is pretty annoying having to go up and right-click all these and all these

Crystals just fly-in everywhere but there is actually another ritual we can use to solve this so we’re gonna go down below are growing ritual and I’m just gonna leave a little two block gap in between the ritual stones never going to place down the crack of the fractured

Crystal so you can probably actually guess what this one does pretty easily but we can activate that and of course right now it’s not doing anything and before we actually make it do something let’s get a little system to pick up the items it’s going to be flinging so we

Are just going to set up a little item laser relay system so we’ll put the laser relay and the item interface down and we’re gonna place a item collector directly on this interface so everything that it picks up which we are going to filter this you only pick up demon wills

There we go so let’s pop that in there and I think it may already be picking up stuff from the little mob farm so all the demon wills it actually picks up it’ll all get put straight into the item interface and therefore into the laser relay sort of system and then in here

I’m gonna set up a little storage spots so we’ll put down drawers for all five different types of will and then back behind will put down a drawer controller with just a hopper leading into it and then this item laser relay on top and

Then all we have to do is link those up and there should be some nice wireless item trance so now let’s see what our ritual actually does although you might have guessed it already if we give this some aura this should grow this crystal and that should get harvested and then

Picked up as you’re sort of saying maybe oh yeah you could you can see it flinging up it’s getting picked up pretty quick but that’s what that’s cracked crystal whatever ritual does is it automatically harvest our crystals so now really all that’s left to do is to automate actually putting demon well

Into the aura so all I’m going to do is place down five demon crucibles because I made four more of them one for each type of will and then we’re just going to run hoppers into all of those and that’s going to pull from our drawers and automatically place that into the

Aura so you can see everything getting burned up everything’s nice and filled up and our crystals are actually going to start burrowing because our ritual I had been doing stuff and essentially when the ritual is running but you don’t have enough aura in the air the crystals

Still sort of get selected to suck or out of the air it’s just going to wait until the aura actually gets there for it’s you suck if that makes any sense now let’s turn our mob spawner back on because I turned it off for that little bit and we’re gonna get some rapid

Growth going so this is pretty much working but there are a few more things I actually want to do to make this more efficient for one I want to make sure that whenever all of these drawers are full meaning we can’t actually hold any more demon whoa we want this ritual to

Turn off that’s because every time the crystals get harvested they’re using a bit of LP so I don’t want this draining LP when it doesn’t need to so we are going to use these inventory chokers from RF tools to see whenever we have enough demon will so if we place those

Down with the arrow facing away from the inventory we want to check we can specify what item we want it to check for so I wanted to check for this regular demon role crystal in this drawer and so we just put that in that

Slot and then we want to set it to the amount and so those drawers are full whatever they’re holding 2048 because they have a 32 stack limit and then for storage drawers is actually a little bit weird it’s not slot 0 that we’re checking for it’s slot 1 so all the

Demon was getting put in slot 1 slot 0 is something else I don’t actually know what it is so we’re just going to run that signal out into a torch and now if you actually change this number really quick so right now these signal is off

But if we set this to just 1 it’s going to say ok there’s Elly one demon will crystal we can set it higher there’s a stack there’s more than a stack of demon will in this drawer so that signal is going to light up turning off that torch so turn this signal on

Whenever this drawer is full with 2048 items turning that torch off and we’re going to do the same exact thing for all of the other ones so I have just hooked it all up the same exact way 2048 of each type of crystal and then all those

Are going into torches that we’re going to run this all into one line and we’re doing this to basically make a one big and gate so we’ll place a torch here and this torch is only going to turn on whenever all these torches are off and

The only way all these torches are going to be off is if all of these drawers are completely full of demon wool so whenever those drawers are full of demon will this torch will turn on then we’re going to use a bit more wireless redstone we’ll set down another

Transmitter and that is going to create a new channel so we just right click to set our receivers to channel two and then we’re going to come down below our ritual where our master ritual stones are and we’re going to point event redstone signal straight into the master

Ritual stone of both of these and we’re doing this because whenever you give the master ritual stone a redstone signal it’s going to stop doing the ritual and then whenever you take away the redstone signal it will resume so that is just gonna make it so whatever those drawers

Are full this ritual will stop working and we can actually test that out right now so if we turn this torch on those master ritual stones will start to get a redstone signal and so the mobs up here have stopped dying and also everything has stopped getting harvested so now

This ritual won’t drain LP from our system whenever we do not need any demon will and I’m also gonna put void upgrades on all of these drawers because I don’t want one type of demon world to clog up our whole system and then to finish this system up I’m going to want

To get more of these demon will crystals but before we do that I’m actually going to move this whole ritual down one I thought it would look cool if it was raised up but in fact it looks very not cool and I yeah I think that is a lot

Better so I made a bunch more of these crystals so we will go ahead and place these down so I made nine of these default dimmable crystals because we use the most of these crystals so I thought we should have the most actually growing and then for all the other ones I made

For now currently there aren’t a core many uses for these other types of will everything other than the default there are a few but other uses are getting added as time goes on but I think it’s so good to grow them so we can have them

When that time does come and I can also go out another layer with these crystals so I can go all the way to the edge of these vlogs here but I kind of wanted to keep it contained also it is good to have as many crystals as possible in

Your little crystal farm because if I remember correctly each of these crystals has a cool-down so the gathering of the Forsaken souls can only affect these crystals once every so often and if it selects randomly a crystal that is on its cooldown nothing is going to happen that
