Welcome back to redstone in 60 seconds i’m animus j and today we’re talking about repeaters so previously we talked about how a redstone signal will travel for 15 blocks before it dies what a repeater does primarily is it extends that signal out for an additional 15 blocks By moving this little torch what you’re doing is you are changing the delay from the default one tick to two three or four ticks before the redstone signal is passed on or before it is turned off just think of redstone ticks as time it takes to do something in minecraft so Right here we have zero takes because there is no delay added whereas here we have one two three and four the max you can do on a repeater so not only will this one illuminate last but it will also stay on the longest because it will also hold the power for four ticks So there you have it that is minecraft repeaters i’m animus j see you guys next time when we’re going over comparators Video Information
