Started with paper dolls, then random drawings too, But it wasn’t until later that comics came into view. Got into digital art, thanks to YouTubers’ cue, And got my first tablet, a dream come true.
Created characters, but didn’t think they’d go far, Just wanted to create content for myself, by far. Then comics intrigued me, and Paperclips was the star, But it took a while before I raised the bar.
Tried my hand at superheroes, a school project in sight, Then got a wacom cintiq, amping up my art’s light. But it wasn’t until 2020, that I took flight, Revisited comics, and Paperclips shone bright.
Got an iPad, and started drawing with all my might, RATU and Paperclips, both taking flight. But 2023 brought a drop out, and a health fight, Now I’m restarting, trying to make it right.
So, my advice to you, as you start your art quest, Don’t aim for the big leagues, start with what’s best. Create something small, put yourself to the test, Experiment and figure out, before you invest.
Don’t rush into the big project, take your time, Mini comics and trials, will help you climb. You don’t have to know it all from the start, it’s not a crime, Just take that first step, and let your art shine.
So that’s my art journey, with all its twists and turns, Hope my advice helps you, as your creativity burns. Thanks for watching, hope this lesson you discern, Keep creating, keep exploring, it’s your turn.
