Hello everybody and welcome to the next episode of ultimate alchemy welcome back so at the beginning of last episode we eventually managed to get some iron automation which is done that’s very good using these infinite barrels which are beautiful and we also got ourselves a nice tinkers construct setup which is Awesome now today I’m going to be hopefully focusing on getting some more automation done so the main things I want to automate today are as follows and they’re not necessarily in the right order but this is what I want to do redstone I want to get automated but That requires three things which is requiring bowls to be automated iron pickaxes to be automated in the levers now iron pickaxes we can probably hold off on but leathers is is definitely one stone charcoal Pistons which means planks ender shards and item transfer caters if I can get all of that Automated by the end of this episode I’ll be very happy last episode we didn’t make ourselves our first piece of redstone as so and it actually doesn’t use up the bowls if I remember correctly so I think all we have to do is automate the levers which isn’t it’s no big deal So what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna grab but a stone just grab ourselves our acceleration wander there because I want to wanna get ourselves some stone so that we can craft ourselves some more mechanical crafters which came in very handy the last time oh so not quite Enough to do all of that that’s fine I would need those and some of those and we’re gonna get ourselves loads of mechanical crafters and that’s gonna be great the first one that I want to do is I’m gonna have one for whoops that is not where I wanted to place you I’m Actually gonna grab some iron see if we can at least upgrade I’ll set up in a minute actually we’ll hold off on the anything else so the first one is going be boot boot chuck some sticks in there and we we get ourselves lots of sticks Which is great and then we’re gonna get ourselves here we’re gonna get the sticks and the stone so we can put that there grab some of those sticks grab that there and we’ll put some stuff in there and that’s at least automating some lowers there so we have level Automation which is great we don’t need to have this completely like 100 percent automated but the idea that I don’t have to sit there and craft everything is is definitely a good idea so we’ve got some leathers we’ve got the balls we’ve got the pickaxes so you should just be able To combine all of this together I don’t know not that one that one and get ourselves a nice quantity of redstone which is awesome and it doesn’t actually use that much of the iron pickaxe which is good that’s that’s good to know so let’s grab another stack or so we’ll Pop those in there speed those up a bit and there we are 63 lovers could do the same thing again and we’re getting plenty of redstone which is awesome that’s that’s precisely what we want we want to see lots of redstone yeah these mechanical crafters are gonna come in Really really handy so what I’m actually gonna do is I’m just gonna I’m gonna move this one over a bit and just kind of have them all touching and then that way I can see what they’re crafting I wanted to go this way and grab some cobblestone So that I have the recipe in there there we are chuck one of those in there for now and then pop that in there get some more redstone cool okay so that’s the first thing next thing is going to be the iron pickaxes so we’re gonna grab all you Should be able to if I convert this all to planks chuck those in there I’ll get some sticks that does seem to automatically output them into the next inventory which is good that’s good so we do actually have leathers leathers automated so that’s good so we can even go one step further With that because we can make it ourselves if we make ourselves some more drawers there we are whoops like so we can have a draw up here that filters down into another craft Oh which we can put here which can be like so like sticks so I’ll go sticks Into but not sticks sorry that’s so I mean I meant planks into wood and then if we need to get some item trans locators because I have a plan I have a plan I’ll pop that in like that what this is basically going to allow us to do is we Have automated leather production just like this so let’s actually grab this because we don’t need this at the moment so basically all I have to do is put whoops not shift click that is the wrong button to press I just have to right-click these in there it’s going to Automatically convert them to logs into planks and then the planks into sticks and then the six are gonna go to leathers and then the leathers we can craft with another one actually yeah because we can just do this and then we can get ourselves our Bowl and so ball I In pick ax and a lever can I put I can put them back that’s good okay so if I pop that in there okay that’s good now it’s just gonna output them into the other ah look at that automated redstone production right here that’s good stuff so the other thing We’re going to need to add in is the the cobblestone so if we want more leather leather leather leather that’s very difficult to say by the way maybe it’s just me but we have we have automated redstone already which is cool it would be cool once we get some item Conduits that we can filter the stone into here but for now we can just chalk a stack of stone in whenever we need it and obviously we can speed this up later but we do have redstone automation which is good the next one that I wanted to automate was stone production so I’m Actually gonna grab some of this I’m gonna come over here I’m gonna make myself a furnace good stuff we’ve got our writing translators which is good so we can pop those I guess we want to do it from the top so I can leave say a gap There no we don’t we don’t need a gap actually am I talking about I’m talking complete nonsense is what I’m talking we can just do something as simple as this I believe fill that with cobblestone grab ourselves some charcoal I thought I had some spare here do I not Know I don’t so let’s grab those grab a stack of that we were also gonna be automating charcoal as well so there’s gonna be that which will be good so we’ll pop that in there speed that along a little bit this acceleration one is gonna be your friend like significantly Be your friend because it’s just gonna stop coming so useful so then we’re gonna pop over here and we’re pop that charcoal in there and we’re gonna do the same thing here which is have a draw on this side so let’s craft ourselves another draw so we’ll get some wood like so Boop Draw done very nice and on the other side oh no that’s the wrong side I forgot that’s the thing you can’t do you have to do it from the bottom aren’t we so that’s gonna be a little annoying just like don’t really want to do this from the bottom so how Can I do this better I can just do now here’s a question if I do so if I put the furnace here and I put the translator there that’s not going to filter into the yeah I thought I was gonna happen okay new plan new plan we’re gonna put the furnace somewhere Else I didn’t really think this for this through too much okay so let’s see so we need to have it come in through the top that’s not gonna work ideally so how can we do this I guess I guess we are going to have to break into the floor a little Bit here which I didn’t really want to do now if there was a way to get another one of these barrels that would be so much easier cuz I would just be able to plop them up on a shelf or something but I guess I guess there isn’t also does This know it doesn’t speed up any quicker than I thought it wouldn’t right okay right we’re just gonna do it manual style okay we’re gonna do a manual style for now I’m just gonna again that’s not gonna work I just I’ve just been over this it was a whole point of that Previous section all right like that you know I’m gonna float up I’m gonna put one of those there you know right-click that when we’ve got an open hand that is the thing you need to do and we’re gonna Chuck a bunch of coal in there and and some there we go okay We’ve got stone in production it’s not automated but we’ve got stone production that’s something at least so the next kind of step is probably doing the same but with charcoal so what I’m gonna need is I’m gonna need another furnace obviously now eventually I’ll make more Of these or we’ll find a better way to do it but for now do I have anything in here I do good so I should be able to put I’m gonna need it kind of in putting twice that’s the things so if I put one there and there that’s not going to work Is it because it’s going to be inputting into the bottom oh no that does work no that doesn’t because the output is is the side so what I need to do is I need to kind of do this the other way around so I need it to be I need access to the Top and the side that’s rather annoying isn’t it okay that’s not gonna work so top and the side there’s no real easy way to do that is there okay well that’s just that’s this is not going my way today is it we’re really struggling today okay right break this Break this will do it our own way I can probably use like a filler chest or something like that one huh how did that place there okay I thought the first time was just me being bad but I I right-click that okay that’s fine just do that for now okay I’ll just Chuck Some of that in there I’ll sorry this in there okay cool we’re gonna have some of that at least cooking up let’s go for another chest get ourselves another barrel so we can at least out put that into into it a chest which it’s gonna require output From the bottom again right you know what I’m done with that plan that’s not happening that’s fine we’re just gonna leave it there I’m just gonna pretend that didn’t happen okay so we’ve got stone we’ve got charcoal we got redstone so maybe we should look at getting the pistons Sorted so let’s do there and piston recipe so three of those three of those some of those some of those now here’s a question can I just do the GE I click I can look at that so that has output and redstone there so I should just be able to chuck all of This in and it will produce piston sweet okay so we have a piston now and it’s the same recipe there so we are gonna need an align pick which is fine grab our iron this is gonna be a very slow start to begin with but that’s fine we Don’t need all of the bowls in there we only need one of them actually so we can keep one here for now but we’ve made our first ender shard which is a good start so the end of shard is required because it gives you a resonating redstone Crystals which we’ll use for the extra utilities crafting stuff also can be used for screen which is cool but it’s the item trans locators that were after so we need to iron for redstone a chest which we can get relatively simply if we send those back over there I think I can Actually do this I’ll just make me loads of chests which is cool so we should be able to now make the item translators one we’re missing Pistons of course so cobblestone some iron some redstone some logs chuck those all in there get some of those done 14 Pistons there we Go pop those in there click on this and boom we’ve got some more item trans locators so that’s good we now have more access to the item transit caters which is a good start because we’re gonna need those they’re gonna come in very useful ok so the next thing then is maybe a Resonator so we’re gonna need a block of charcoal and a resonating redstone crystal so we need another ender shard which is gonna require another piston which no we do have some left so we’re gonna need another one of whoops another one of those how many can we get we can You get the one really I feel like there we go there we go oK we’ve got plenty now that’s good so we’ll pop those back in there and we can do one of these with some redstone and that gets us the resonating redstone crystals so that’s Really good stop and then for that we need to make a resonator we need we need a block of charcoal which we can grab some from over here cuz we should be crafting notes there we are so we’ve got some charcoal craft one of those up ok And then we should be good to craft a resonator which is awesome so we now have a resonator at our disposal the resonator is gonna be very interesting because wait you can’t end stone burn into rainbow stone with an active language oh that’s cool that’s not what I was Looking at this is probably gonna be the next thing we want redstone 2 crushed black quartz because you remember we were looking and we needed things like bone meal and stuff like that war in this pack apparently mobs don’t spawn naturally in order mobs so the whole Point of me lighting this up was completely useless but it’s good to know now but yeah that means we’re gonna need another way to get so we can’t build a mob farm effectively so that requires crafting dice now there is something from actually additions called the lens Of color that allows you to convert dyes into different colors every time you use it and that could basically allow us so if we look at in ink ink sacs which can be crafted with black pigment which we can get with charcoal you can use it on An ink sack which you can convert one to one and then you can use the lens to get the various different materials so that’s something that we definitely want to do so the next kind of staged getting towards that I think is the hand mill or Manual mill that’s what we want so we’re gonna need some redstone torches which we can get really easily because we have redstone now there we are I feel like I didn’t craft fire but I might have crafted five and then we need another one of those those themo bobbies are They called there we are the resonating red sand crystals we’re gonna need some more wood which is no problem so we’ll put the redstone torches around there so we get a redstone gear and then we need some polished stone which we get by getting stone bricks which we get from stone so We get stone bricks and then we make polished stone and now we have a manual mill so yeah so now we can use our resonator which is awesome so in the resonator we can use some redstone to get some crushed black quartz can also get red coal as well which might be Worth doing cuz it boosts efficiency but for now what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna grab some redstone not a whole lot because we don’t need loads chuck that in there and we’re gonna pop this bad boy and crank it up and see what happens So I think it only takes four 4gp so that’s good but that should get us the black quartz that we need from what I can gather and then we can push on to that you know the dye changing stuff which will come in very useful so that Should have done enough for now there we go we got five that should work she should be able to smelt this up no problem let’s speed that up a bit and there we have some black quartz which is awesome so we’re going to need a few things we’re going to need an iron Casing so that’s something I should be able to craft I’m missing the sticks OOP there we are so my encasing should be the first thing we craft there we go now we’ve got your in casing we also get the manual as well which is cool so we are going to need The atomic Reconstructor which is gonna require a little bit more iron actually so let’s go and grab some so we’ll grab some of that we’ve got over a thousand of it already which is brilliant it’s a great start and then what was I looking at so I’m casing and we have an atomic Reconstructor hell yeah okay so let’s kind of angle it this way and we will set it to toggle mode the one tip on deactivation I think yeah I think that’s the mode or is it pulse I think it might be pause that we want the other thing We’re gonna want is probably a generator to power the thing and we can actually use so we’ve got a few choices the overclocked generator is a bit out of our reach because I mean the lapis is a bit scary but we could probably get away with doing a coal generator which Requires another one of those iron casings but it should be relatively simple to get to like so if we chuck that bad boy there grab ourselves a wooden button pop that on the top and then power that bad boy up this thing should fill up and then we should be Good to go really obviously this isn’t the most efficient setup in the world but it does the job so now we’re getting that we need to look at the recipe for a lens which is some glass and some black quartz so to get that we’re gonna need Some sand which we get from gravel which we get from Kabul and the pickaxe and Bowl set up so let’s get some gravel then get some sand cook up some sand speed that bad boy up there we are we got some sand put that way that was easy And then we’ll do all the way around one piece of black quartz you got a lens very good Chuck this over here hit the button and there’s our lens of color so just to test it out let’s try and make one of those one of those things the the ink Sacs so we put for charcoal together to get a black pigment we threw that in front hit the button Oh nope sorry no we don’t I just wasted some power we want to get the ink sac first then we hit the button there we go so we’ve got some Rouge red which is Cool the Rose red is like based on the flowers and stuff like that you know the usual is that use for anything special I probably not but you never know you never know so soon you know Industrial oh sorry immersive engineering stuff it’s used to color yeah yeah thermal Expansion and stuff and all that so that’s cool but nothing nothing in particular don’t say you craft construction block powder which is good good to know blank seals very useful done craft stuff and obviously it’s used for empowering but what we want to basically do is see if we can get some Lapis so cactus creamed again anything useful for this not really that’s interesting semiotic fabricator very good but it’s the lapis that we’re after really so cooker beams there’s the lapis so just for reference point this is how you would have to normally craft lapis so you’d have to Get this essence of true blue which you acquire essence of royal blue in a fractionating still and then you need essence of royal blue bakit which you get from mixing essence of very blue is pulverized gold and alchemical imbue er fraction mean fractionating still on essence of blue just essence of mildly Blue you get the picture and yet we just got one from from being sacks from charcoal which is way way better and this is going to open up our options way way easier and yeah this was something that I was going to use in the last in The snow blog series but I don’t think we ended up needing to so I ended up having the chickens for it it was one of the methods I was gonna get around not being able to find cactus green but then we ended up figuring that out so we Didn’t have to which was great I think to round off this episode why don’t we try and get get a few more lapis and see what we can get so I think this whoops I think this does the order in this say did that miss alright of course I did it Again I keep forgetting you how to convert them to ink sacs yes I think the order is exactly the same in each one I keep taking the lens off that’s not by intended to do yeah so I think it rotates the same order each time yeah it definitely does so then This is the office nice now we’ve got some lapis so we’re gonna grab one of those shards there we’re gonna grab resonating crystal we’re gonna grab two of those we’re gonna grab some lapis and we’ve got solar panels which I’m actually gonna pop right back here there We go it also rained quite well but now now we have 3gp running because they each generate one I think 3gp whenever it’s sunny which is cool so that’s a pretty good way to get into it so that cuts out a lot of the tedium I think for That is I was looking at how can we get lapis before I started this episode and I thought that’s that’s probably the easiest way to do it so there we are so that’s that’s a good shortcut I feel like it’s an effective way of doing it and it’s very accessible with the early Game as well so you know I mean it didn’t cost me that much to get here which is pretty cool so that is technically if we look at clay we’ve already got access to the lapis we’ve got access to cobblestone we’ve got access to wood grass is gonna be Carpenter so that’s gonna be maybe next episode we’ll work on getting a carpenter because I mean it doesn’t look too difficult to get we’ll need some water as well water might be a little more of a challenge actually no I think about it because I don’t know if there’s An easy way that we can get water I’ll have to have a think about that one but yeah we can get grass with compost which is you know you can get it with standard dirt or leaves leaves might be it so oak sapling maybe sapling dead bush which you get for Sticks in a carpenter yeah so I think carpenter is definitely gonna be the way we go next episode
