Ham on a burger bun I feel like I me it’s not a burger because it didn’t have Burger but it looks a lot more like a burger than a sandwich 100 types of bread so what there you know hundreds of types days or you know portions of the day where I start to fixate on you know the idea of success and whether or not I’ve you know Gotten there or how I’m doing but I think I think that you know growing in the space is is hard and should be hard because there are so many people doing very similar things at very similar quality points or even Superior right it’s like a personality thing you Know there’s tons of people that I enjoy watching so like why wouldn’t people go and watch them instead of me so it’s a it’s a weird thing um so I’m I’m pretty happy I think I mean I enjoy it and there are people that will Come and hang out and talk to me which is pretty cool which is pretty cool so I think it’s pretty legit I try and remain as positive as possible about it yeah I know so it was like so that was my plan and if you if you like if You go back chronologically enough you can kind of see that um uh like it was kind of what I was doing like months and months and months ago and so it was like I used to um I used to do a lot of shorts or more Um but what I was and that it’s like it probably would be a good idea to do it it’s just that um editing for me takes a lot more energy than streaming which is probably true for most people because like streaming is just like a you just Go and you just do stuff um there’s not a lot of like planning or editing or editing you know like effort involved um and one of the things was like the the shorts would get views like a couple of them got like thousand of views which is Which was cool at the time but like it didn’t convert into any like return views from analytics and I was like ah I’d probably rather just stick to the cuz what what I ended up my my my thinking SL realization was I was like okay I don’t really super enjoy doing The short stuff like it’s it’s kind of fun every once in a while like if I so I try and do that now if I if I come across a moment where I’m like oh that’d be kind of fun then I try and get myself To do a little thing I haven’t done it in a while um but I was like I might as well just continue doing the stuff I like to do and then hopefully build up an audience that likes the stuff that I like to do and therefore it kind of is You know like a self feeding system but I I don’t know why do you stream why do streamers the same copy and uninspired content um I think what your question is why do streamers all do the same thing and copy each other and don’t do inspired Content um I think the question for you would probably be like do you think you could do do you think you could do something original over and over and over again like what do you think like right so cuz wow this bridge sucks who did this like Um right if you were going to make videos and stuff every single day yeah I could but I don’t um then like I don’t know it’s you should probably try it lava on their toes cuz well I guess you know maybe part of the question is like what is original right I’m playing Minecraft like gu is like what I’m getting at is like I think maybe your perspective about people doing the same thing I would consider relooking at that Maybe I don’t know I think the answer is that I don’t know I don’t know how you feeling about that you you feeling better about people in content I think also that if you’re um if you’re feeling like they’re like oh people are so uninspired you could You going to make these awesome these these cool video ideas awesome editing and stuff but like I was like oh man I don’t think I could keep that up and so I’m hoping that if I just go to stream every day and I stream Something that I want to do and want to play and then it’s kind of just like a fun vibe that it’ll just work out yeah you know that which is like you know I think it it felt like the most healthy thing to aim for because Right in theory I could go out and I could find the best formula for like succeeding here which is probably like right you want to um you want to do you want to make viral videos you want to do shorts you want to be on Tik Tok you Want to be on all the platforms you want to be on Twitter you want to be doing stuff giveaways all that things um and like I could be aiming for everything that would be for growth and like expansion but I’d rather hit what I want To do the most and that if people want it it’ll happen it watch it all day you something which audience attention today’s area 140k damn oh [ __ ] oh is that why you’ve got a fancy gray box with a check mark damn that’s legit I know cuz like doing something Super unique is pretty pretty hard right make like well damn that’s not something that was um let’s see Uh I think the best way to go is just check on like the earn page I am at 1,700 hours of watch time so 1,718 public watch hours in the last 365 days um oh is there hello I should probably sleep it’s amazing for sub count is It um I I literally have no idea cuz um basically what I’ve been kind of looking at is um every once in a while I I uh just to like keep track of where I’m at I go and I um I check the like the um the ear tab That has the milestones for like what you need to get to like monetization um cuz like that’s that’s like the the kind of goal right now and so it’s like you need 500 subscribers and 3,000 uh public watch hours and they’re about they’ve always been sort of neck and neck actually and So I I’ve always assumed that I was growing equally in sub two watch hours I don’t know though in theory I think with my my streaming style the more subscribers I have the faster the watch hours would outpace just because how many hours I have getting views on vods let’s Go I know actually I because I was getting some comments on on on past vods so like there’s definitely some growth is occurring which is super exciting I know it’s like I’m kind of I’m kind of getting somewhere it’s taken a really long time and the funny thing is like I Don’t well it’s like like I want to be like oh my God I’m finally somewhere but I don’t want to devalue the people that were you know hanging out with me before because they they were just as valuable if not more than now but it is cool that I feel like I’m Finally hitting some of the things that make me feel like growth is actually occurring which is nice updating some thumbnails you don’t you don’t like my thumbnails yeah I I don’t put a ton of time into the thumbnails you know getting some nice picture builds would be nice yes exactly Exactly when it was you know it’s like in theory over time you know right I don’t and it’s also I don’t want to devalue new regulars because it’s like your view and being there is just as important but it is it is more likely for someone to show up now and hang out Than when I had zero viewers and like I don’t think I could have gone from zero to you know like from one to five if there wasn’t one in the first place so you could stream the thumbnails not as good vnails that is a that is a good Point that is a that is a that is a fair and valid point I because it’s like it’s got enough about if there’s a game there’s a thing but yeah no I I I guess I think maybe what my thought is is that I wasn’t imagining That I was going to pull people to a VOD first I think my thought my pipeline was like someone sees a live stream clicks on it he like oh this is pretty good and then if I’m not live and they’re bored they think it’s is it’s one of the things I kind of love um about like video games is that they’re surprisingly Interesting in terms of oops like real life economy because you can learn things about what people are willing to do and you know pay in virtual settings that kind of do translate into real world stuff stuff for help setups people seem to like doing shops and things Um what do you mean by like the first part cuz you because I was oh yeah yeah yeah I get you no yeah it’s like a like Services where like we exchange um help yeah yeah yeah I get you I think it’s part of the the idea that it would Be cool if things would persist or exist without um needing to you know like come back and check on them cuz it’s like if you have a shop that is somewhere then you don’t have to worry about I could do some like just biome one so I could have like a little like a Sakura Forest one um or even like nether biomes too I Could have like a a soul sand one or like a little Bastion one sounds like it could be kind of fun and also if I do it as floating islands and stuff that are like chained together then I don’t have to worry about building uh artificial ones in the ocean Don’t have to deal with the water all the benefit of islands and bridges and stuff none of the water it’s a win-win the only downside is that it’s a lot harder to build midair um than it is to swim around in the water okay let’s See well right but like you can fly it’s like elytra I feel like is a you know is a transitory tool where like cuz like falling off getting up elytra fix but like the building part that you know right where it’s like you can get up and down really easy and around but Like building something consistently there like if like I want to go put some blocks underneath this thing like getting wonky but I’m not going to replace the whole thing just because the the wheel is being weird and I can get around it so let’s See oh so it always uh always will choose the last slot that’s interesting that’s not bad but you can probably just like write a macro for that right okay although then then it might just do that anytime you pressed any of the buttons might really mess with some other Games having to write it and then uh then turn it on and off for different activities that would be complicated Suddenly It’s like well okay all of these Solutions are a little weird suboptimal that’s not too Bad this is and this is a lot more easily uh replicable although I do think the um the scaffolding does surprisingly help with the um the camouflage a bit does really help distract from uh how uniform and Bland this construction is okay two three okay Okay and then this was you go out one up one right yeah okay oh wait but one of them needs to be the middle shouldn’t there be another these days I don’t even remember um oh wait it’s probably technically lower by number than it used to be but it’s because the world goes negative or maybe it’s the same maybe the build limit Still the that bottom thing looked ugly but now look how nice that that d vaping part is and that’s plenty tall cuz actually any taller and it’s going to make it look weird that the chain isn’t like pulled More
