Hello and welcome everybody today we are going to look at the sweeper flying machine the sweeper flying machine is a quick and simple redstone contraption that can make for easy farming of tall growing minecraft crops whether you’re harvesting sugarcane bamboo kelp or even drip stone the sweeper makes quick short Work of big patches that need to be knocked out quickly first you’re going to want an unmovable block 2 up from the ground allowing for room for your crop to leave one behind after harvest our movable locks include obsidian crying obsidian and furnaces to name a few Next you want to put a sticky piston against the block and go five out to the left then one on the face and six out to the right but you can go up to nine slime out in both directions before you hit the piston push limit going behind the sticky piston target The top back corner of the slime attached to it and place a second sticky piston making two facing each other but next to each other next i’m using slime to put a placement block on the slime next to each piston going up to and knocking out the middle for an air gap Targeting an observer to the each floating slime to have it looking at the sky i’m not going to knock out the slime yet because when i do it we’ll update the observer and send the flying machine on its way so first i want to build my catching point for the machine A neat little addition to the sweeper is the trigger built using an observer the unmovable block redstone dust a repeater with four ticks of delay at a trapdoor put together as i’m about to show you here an observer facing into the back most observer of the flying machine Will detect when it hits there then we’ll put a block behind for it to get powered i’ll just use obsidian some redstone dust on top of that block and a repeater on top of the observer set to four ticks that’s three right clicks popping a trapdoor On top of the observer will be what triggers it as you can see there it was activated as it moved away moving away not such an issue once it gets there shoots it back on its merry way we’re going to do the exact same thing on the opposite side but This time we’re going to add a lever to it which is going to give the opportunity to toggle the farm on and off you can also use this design to add a trigger to the farm just let me know in the comments if you’d like to see how it’s done for each Type of farm because it’s just a little bit different every time and there you go flying sweeper machine nice and easy go make this useful in your world like i do in mine thanks very much for watching and do consider subscribing if you haven’t already the algorithm love subs and likes to let People know my stuff exists so do that if you can and until next time thanks folks you Video Information

Whether its sugar cane, bamboo, kelp or pointed dripstone you’re farming, the sweeper flying machine can make big farms a breeze for your minecraft world or SMP server. Easy on resources and quick to make, I’ll show you how to put one of these together in a couple of minutes, including a trigger that will send the flying machine back to its home to wait for its next trigger.
This is not my original design, I cannot provide credit because it’s been out there for so long, this is only my example of how to build it and showing some farms it can be used in.
