Attempting “Cursed” Difficulty in Minecraft… (Is It Possible?)

Let me be as clear as possible when i say i am not beating this because i mean that is just ridiculous if you’ve been around the channel recently you’d know that a couple months ago fundy released a brand new impossible difficulty or as we like to call it

The possible difficulty because we bid it twice not only in survival but also in hardcore so in retaliation fundy released an updated difficulty possible plus plus oh i mean impossible plus plus or whatever i managed to beat this new difficulty first try with zero deaths i imagine

Fundy wasn’t too happy about this so a couple weeks later he comes out with a difficulty far harder than anything he’d released before nightmare difficulty although this was definitely a much harder challenge i still managed to beat it even in hardcore mode and following this i mentioned i had retired from

Trying to beat these challenges and i still have that was nightmare mode in hardcore i’m so glad this is over i am never doing this again that’s it i retire i win but recently fundy released a new difficulty so hard that i must agree nobody is beating this the cursed

Difficulty forget all the old pathetic rules of the older difficulties this new challenge has a set of rules so ridiculous even i refuse it’s even possible every block you break will explode tall grass will kill you water will avoid you all mobs are super scary oh my villagers can no longer be trusted

You need 42 obsidian to make a portal blaze are incredibly fast there’s a chance your end portal will break breaking end crystals will spawn withers and just so so much more but of course the worst rule of them all there is a completely random chance you will trip

While you’re walking and your inventory will fly everywhere why is this still a thing seriously this is by far the worst rule now there’s many reasons i don’t think it’s realistic for this difficulty to ever be beaten but i’ll get into that later so for now let’s just jump into a

Discovered a few strategies which are quite helpful for example an easy way to get food is by harassing fish in the river unfortunately even with all that food i just got i’m still not healing any hearts all right please heal me i see it i see a uh

You could you do let’s go let’s go look at the pyramid okay we gotta we gotta break and enter oh god i don’t wanna die oh no there’s spiders in here no no no no no no no our pyramid has been compromised all right this is not great

We may have to tactically die and just start again because we’re too low on health oh gosh okay yeah we’re we’re dying for sure we’ve achieved nothing already okay that’s just great exactly what i needed where did my stuff go cannot keep track of where my items go when that happens

No i just got it back right yeah let’s just start again there’s nothing wrong with admitting defeat All right in all honesty we really need a village if we’re really gonna achieve anything here oh i just saw something actually really good now this will come in handy wait no where are my chests no my chest are gonna be buried underneath hey for one we can start getting some wood

Hello oh come i guess we have a bit of food now as much as fundy may have thought this water thing was a nuisance i actually think it’s a really cool feature being able to run just along the bottom of an ocean i think it’s pretty cool

No no no no okay it’s already turning night we have achieved literally nothing this is this is just it’s impossible i guess if we had just gotten luckier we would have found a village by now but all right let’s at least try to survive right now i mean this is just easy food

Oh no it’s night time of course it’s night time why wouldn’t it be night time right now all right we need to find a village we need to avoid the mobs at all costs and we need to find a village oh no let me alone spider oh no

What is hurting me why how are you all right i feel safe underwater underwater is our safe space this is great visually i’ve noticed the water doesn’t disappear when you’re near these uh near the kelp no that’s the last thing we need right now no stop just let me have this

Bad chest and then like a good chest oh we got another shipwreck over here maybe this time we can find both chests oh gosh okay that was close oh no okay where do we get the good loot hello uh chest why is this not opening wait a minute buried treasure

Oh we got another chest here iron yes now we’re talking what do we do with our iron though that’s that’s the real question come on now we really need a village more than ever the ouch this is like a maze we just gotta solve constantly solving a maze okay let’s try

All right so i think oh wait a minute no no no no no this is not fair i figured we were getting nowhere with that world so we may as well start again fresh and uh this is this is not the nicest start okay all right we can get out of this ouch

Why are you still following me you’re still here stop it so that was a great start well anyway i figured i’d restart and i might as well explain why i’m playing so weird like why i’m playing how i am because there’s a few rules i haven’t quite yet

Mentioned i’m looking for a village first so i can get a bed because as you may have seen whenever you try and attack animals like a sheep they just teleport away so you really can’t kill sheep so the only way to get a bed is to loot a village

And i guess the same thing goes for food i figure we have a probably a better chance of getting some food at a village although the fish strategy thing that i had earlier is a pretty easy way to get food now you may also be wondering why i’m not just like

Mining straight away trying to get iron and that’s because fundy has made it so you literally can’t smelt iron like it takes one hour or something ridiculous to smelt a single piece of iron no also that’s really annoying i have no idea where my stuff went

So to solve the iron thing oh my god just let me have something please solve the iron thing i guess i will be looking in shipwrecks or you can kill the iron golem in a village if i can ever find a village i guess desert pyramids wouldn’t be as bad either

Wait we just got two cobblestone so you can manage to break this stuff without taking any damage if you just break it from as far away as possible but maybe we can actually survive wait can we get some fish all right all right no what is that get me out of here

I have no blocks no no no no no zombie leave me alone what is that luck okay does this food cook normally please tell me food cooks normally nope no no you can’t even smelt food all right maybe if we get really lucky really really lucky

Maybe we can manage to get some wool the animals teleport but they they have to go somewhere right right so where do they go oh no oh oh i didn’t even run into a flower that time oh we live okay half heart in a dream i’ve heard in the dream

Give me something cool okay i mean nice i guess we just try to run away oh no oh this is not gonna end well and it’s night time yep we’re screwed okay hey at least creepers are normal right right right of course not blow up wait a minute yo creepers are free blocks

That is an interesting development i mean this is the most blocks i’ve ever had in this difficulty so that’s cool hello we gotta do it how do we get in let me in okay all right wait string string diamonds oh we’re gonna lose all of this i know it

I know we’re gonna lose all of it we have enough string to make a bed oh we need to get out of here we need to get out of here all right just survive no no wait okay string diamonds we have everything of value get out all right we

Got golden apples to heal we need to make this bed we need to make this bed all right three wall blocks no zombie no not the time pillager not the time not the time died around here somewhere with like wooden stuff right oh it’s probably despawned i’ve put myself

In danger for nothing we have three will we’re about to finally make progress please don’t do this to me no spiders not right no i’m so dead get them bees get them bees no secure the wall i don’t see it many bees there’s the wall there’s a wall there’s a wall ouch

Okay i’m actually fine with this this is kind of progress oh my gosh okay wait we made it no no no no no no come no don’t come up don’t come up don’t come up you’re actually ruining everything block give me a block give me the block all right cool

Cool cool we blocked off the staircase we are so close to something good so so damn close no i now block myself okay wait where’s my wall Oh my god that was pog we’ve done it we’ve done it oh we’ve done it it took us an hour and we finally made a bed this is great know what this means this means we can go ahead and we can die as much as we damn please

So yeah i spent an hour playing this difficulty and the only progress i made was making a bet i think it’s pretty obvious i’m not going to be beating this difficulty so instead i want to end this video by trying to figure out exactly what you’d have to do to actually beat

It and summarize some of the strategies i think might help first thing you’d want to do is actually find a village that’s where i went wrong if you find a village you automatically get a bed an iron and achieve everything i managed to achieve in this video straight away

Next step would be to set up your spawn point somewhere safe then equip yourself as best you can with blocks and stuff maybe you want to use creepers to get a bunch of blocks quickly but i’d recommend just sleeping through every night to avoid dying over and over now for food there’s

Actually a lot more options than i first thought i figured out sweet berries are a really easy way to get heaps of food but also you can kill regular mobs by using the explosions from blocks as long as you don’t hurt them yourself they won’t teleport away now there’s

Something i overlooked in this video and that’s furnaces although the regular furnaces don’t work you can actually use the smoker and the blast furnace and they’ll work completely normally so you can actually cook the food you get which is really helpful now although it’ll be difficult to craft a blast furnace you

Can actually get really lucky and find one naturally in a village and if you do manage to do this it will mean you can actually mine and smelt your own iron which would definitely help a lot but if not don’t worry because it’s not like iron armor will help you because it’s

Made to break extremely fast now at this stage your only objective is to go to the nether so find a lava pool and using a bucket make your portal one obsidian block at a time you’ll have to do this 43 times by the way once you’re in the nether you’re

Going to want to hope another fortress is extremely close because you won’t survive in the nether very long otherwise if you manage to get to a blaze spawner make sure to place plenty of blocks around for cover these guys are really fast but i’ve noticed it can actually be helpful

Because sometimes they suffocate themselves in walls i doubt you’ll live very long so what i’d suggest is bringing a chest to put your blaze rods in anytime you get one and just keep running in and dying a thing to note is every time you go out of a nether portal you get taken

Somewhere completely random so the easiest way in and out of the nether is actually just dying now if you’re lucky enough to ever make it out of the nether with all the blaze rods you should now know you’ll need to get ender pearls now for reasons you won’t be able to trade with

Villagers so you’re actually going to have to kill endermen now here’s where things get tough endermen are actually invisible so you’re going to have a super hard time finding them you could use boats to make fighting the enderman easier but honestly your biggest problem here is just finding the

Enderman but even if you manage that we’re still not done you’ll still need to locate your stronghold while trying to traverse the poisonous grass find a way to dig into the stronghold and find the portal room and now just pray luck is on your side because there’s a small

Chance your end frame may break every time you place an eye in it then honestly you’re just screwed so you completed the portal and made it into the end great don’t forget every crystal you break will spawn a wither so be prepared to die a lot before you go into the end you’re

Going to want to stockpile heaps of blocks since you don’t really have a way of getting a bow and bows don’t even shoot straight i’d recommend building up to all the end crystals and breaking them yourself honestly letters might work well here once all the crystals are broken the

Withers should despawn according to fundy but from my experience they don’t so now you just need to kill the dragon and the great thing about this difficulty is every block explodes so you know that bed trick that speedrunners use well now you can do it with dirt and

Just any block so besides having to constantly avoid the horde of endermen that are always angry at you and the withers that never despawn this end fight isn’t really that bad so once you kill the dragon don’t be fooled you haven’t won yet if you try to enter the end portal to beat

The game this happens but thankfully this can be avoided by simply ender pearling into the portal so you did it you completed the curse difficulty easy right wrong here’s all the reasons i don’t think this is possible firstly the tripping mechanic you trip so often in this difficulty and you lose

So much stuff from it you can play as careful as you like but there’s nothing you can do from just tripping and losing all your stuff it doesn’t even matter where you are the other reason is because there is something i’ve forgotten to mention so far

You only have two hours to beat the game that’s right fundy has made it so once two hours is up lava will constantly spawn under your feet and you will constantly die and there is nothing you can do about it and ultimately this is why i think this difficulty is impossible

I’m sure it’d be possible to do if you spent many many hours trying to beat it but with only two hours to get to the nether get all the ender pearls all while tripping and losing progress constantly along the way there is literally no way there is

Enough time to ever beat this difficulty but i’m talking strictly on a random seed run there are some people that have already beaten this difficulty using a set seed that’s right there are some rare seeds in minecraft where the end portal spawns already completed meaning there is no need to go to the

Nether and no need to get ender pearls you can literally just go straight to the end fight using these seeds it’s actually quite possible to beat this curse difficulty so if you want to see me beat curse difficulty using one of these set seeds
