Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the bedrock guide today we’re taking a break from the pirate cave that we’ve been working on and we’re going to start a brand new project right over here this area i hope to have filled up with different buildings and things like that Over the course of the rest of this season and i think maybe over here we’ll have another like pirate ship maybe a shipwreck or something like that but i do want to start working on this area today and we are going to start with this little section right Here basically what this is going to be is a small tunnel that will get us from our little pirate town right here not sure how big that pirate town will be just yet but we’ll see what we can get done over the course of the next several Months and the tunnel will get us to the other side right here where there will be a suspension bridge that goes across over to this side over here and we’ll have a secret back entrance into our pirate cave that only super awesome pirates will know about Aka me because i’m i’m the only one that lives here so now i just cleaned up that massive mess of chests over there uh so we’re gonna try not to start a new one right here but you never know we’ll see what happens anyway we’re gonna go over here And keep digging this tunnel out because on the inside of this tunnel i do think i am going to move this nether portal and we’ll make it look really cool on the inside of there because right now it’s just a purple square in the middle of the the Field so we’re going to put our nether portal in there and the project that we are actually focused on today is going to be our potion brewing setup now it’s going to be a little bit different than what we did over in our starter house this is going to be a fully automatic Potion brewer that will give us a variety of options to choose from all right so i’ve done a decent amount of work on this area off-camera it is nowhere close to being done because this is just an ugly rectangle tube that goes through the mountain that quite honestly is Probably not going to be even tall enough uh for our contraption that we’re building today we may have to cap this off a little bit more but we’ll we’ll get to that here in a minute but here’s what we’ve got if we walk through here uh we’ve got this nice little river That’s running over to a waterfall super super cool stuff we may have to shape that out a little bit more as well over here we’re going to put our nether portal somewhere buried back into the wall we’ll make it look nice and cool and then over here this little room back here Behind this little pond uh is going to be hidden by a waterfall at some point probably during today’s video we might do a time lapse or a montage or something of working on this area just so you can see some of the progress and not have like A giant jump cut every single time but this area right here is going to be our automatic potion brewing station setup so i’ve divided it on two sides so we got one two three and four and we’ve got one two three and four and the reason that we divided These into a group of four and another group of four eight different modules for our potion brewing station is because we are going to try to brew eight different potions there are more different potion varieties than that in the game especially when you count the modifiers like splash potions or lingering potions Things like that but we are only going to focus on eight so the eight that we are going to be focusing on are potions of fire resistance potions of water breathing potions of night vision potions of swiftness potions of strength potions of healing splash potions of regeneration And splash potions of weakness this is 100 a subjective list of potions you can pick whatever ones you want you can brew every potion in the game you can brew one potion if you want this is completely up to you these are the potions that i think i Will use the most and i don’t really want to waste a whole lot of time adding modules for potions i think i will never use so like potion of turtle master i don’t see myself using it plus i killed turtles by accident anyway so who needs them so in order to get this Started we’re gonna go ahead and dig this space back a little bit more and we’re gonna dig it up a little bit more as well we’re gonna count one two three four five six and i believe that’s seven right there so yeah what did i tell you This is gonna be poking right on the top of this hillside we’re gonna have to do a little bit of terraforming on the outside as well as the inside of this little tunnel and then we’re gonna have to go over here and dig down one As well and we’re gonna have to do this all the way back here so i think this thing is about eight blocks tall uh but we will confirm that here in a minute when we start building it this little area is dug down one and it goes back five and we’re Gonna build it up eight blocks seven blocks starting right here uh we have this dug down a little bit just because of a few redstone items that need to go down below uh but most of this is going to be at eye level here so like our barrel for Where the potions are going to be stored once they are brewed that’s going to go right here but we’ll take that out for now and we’re going to start by placing down a repeater right here and then one piece of redstone dust here’s what we’re gonna do every single time we alternate blocks For a module we’re going to reverse these two items right here so we’ll put a redstone dust here and a repeater there repeater here and redstone dust there redstone dust here and a repeater there you get it right there and we’ll do the same thing over here when we get around To building these modules as well but then we’re going to go over here and we’re going to place one block right there and we’re going to place a redstone torch right on the back of that with a repeater right here on the top of that this redstone torch Will not power this repeater until we place a block down right here because it will power this block which will power that repeater and this is where the barrel comes in we’re going to go ahead and place a barrel right here and then we’re going to put a hopper Straight into the back of that barrel and this repeater is going to lock this hopper so nothing can go down into it just yet i know this is kind of a speed run build and there’s a lot of information going in the beginning here uh we will go back Over how this thing works in its completeness when we’re done building one module so don’t worry we’ll explain it just hang tight so then we’re gonna grab our brewing stand and we’re gonna place it right down on top of that hopper right there and then we’re gonna grab a hopper And place it right into the back of the brewing stand like that and we’re going to put another barrel right here on top of that hopper this hopper and barrel is going to be the loader for our water bottles so we can just load up 27 water bottles and that way we’ll get 27 potions and actually we’ll get three more here so that’s 30 plus five in there we’ll get 35 potions every time we load this thing up and next we’re gonna go ahead and scaffold up just a little bit so we can get above the contraption and lucky for us we’re On the side of a hill here so we’re going to go ahead and take a redstone torch and we’re going to place it right on top of this block right here then we’re going to go ahead and place a block right there and then we’re going to Place a redstone torch right here it’s very important to send this redstone torch backwards versus putting it on top and we’ll explain why here in just a minute so then we’re gonna place another block right here so this is basically just a simple torch tower with a little bit of a Twist then we’ll take another torch and we’ll place it right here and then another block and then we’ll just go straight up from there so we’ll have another redstone torch right there and one block right here and then we’re gonna take our droppers and we’re gonna go one right here One right here and one right there so that is pretty much the entire redstone contraption all in one module the only thing left to do is add a button right here and this absolutely has to be a wooden button because of the timings if you use a Stone button or a black stone button uh the button won’t stay depressed long enough in order for the water bottles to shift out and put new ones in uh you’ll always have one that’s stuck in the hopper right here so wooden button it is and that’ll make this whole thing work like Clockwork when you press the button this redstone repeater will light up light up that redstone dust and it will power this block which will depower that torch depower this block and de-power this redstone repeater unlocking this right here so when this is unlocked the water bottles or potions That are are finally brewed on this brewing stand we’ll drop down into the hopper and into our storage while that is happening this redstone torch because this block will be depowered will re-power and lock this hopper right here so that no water bottles can come into the brewing stand until it is emptied And this reverses with the button depressing back up so then once this button pops back up and the signal reverses back to its original state this hopper will unlock and allow three water bottles to push into the brewing stand and then we’re good to go for the next Potion so then the rest of this up here this is why this is important right here if we were just to place a redstone torch right on top of here uh this actually would be powered by default and would be the last thing in the line To actually spit out an item but so that we can actually put these in sequential order we reversed the signal so that it pushes back powers this block keeps this off and then once the button is pressed down here this is actually the first dropper to power And these two will go unpowered until the button comes back up then these two will power and push out their ingredients so the very first thing that we want to pop into the brewing stand in this dropper right here will be netherwort because that is the foundational ingredient for most potions But we will have whatever the first ingredient needs to be for whatever potion we’re going to brew sitting right there in that bottom dropper then this middle dropper will be the primary ingredient that will create the specific potion we’re looking for this top one will be the modifier Whether that’s redstone to extend the length or glowstone to extend the strength of the potion and if we want on top of that to add a fourth dropper we can add another modifier which will be something like gunpowder that will give us a splash potion so that’s it that’s the basic circuit That’s how you build one of these modules and now all we need to do is build seven more of them hello everybody birdbrain here i’m actually doing this live on twitch right now and uh one of the one of the fine folks that’s in here reminded me That i’m a bird brain and here’s why i’m a bird brain we’ve got our droppers but uh they basically said so the droppers just kind of throw the uh the ingredients into the brewing stand no they definitely don’t that’d be cool but they definitely don’t the only thing Left to do now is hop her out of the top and just hop her tower all the way up just like that and now we have a fully functioning module so each of these ingredients will make their way into this hopper line and drop down into the top of our Brewing stand now something to explain about brewing stands they’re very similar to the way that furnaces work so the top is going to be your ingredients this side right here will be our water bottles and then if you do it on the opposite side that will actually load up Your blaze powder uh so yeah there there’s a few different ways that you can put inputs into this thing automatically uh we’re gonna load blaze powder manually because it does last for a decently long time and again just to keep this thing small and simple for everybody It’s not something i felt the need to automate and have stacks upon stacks upon stacks of just sitting in storage okay again it’s great that i’m doing this on stream because we have people that are way smarter than me giving me tips on how to build my own contraption here So thanks to scott nothing we don’t actually need a separate hopper for blaze powder we can just put it in with water bottles uh but but you got to make sure that you do have a slot in the hopper uh for blaze powder so for example we’re Gonna go ahead and put three water bottles in there they will not go into the brewing stand they’ll just kind of chill there because this is already full of three water bottles and then if we go ahead and just load up the last spot here with blaze powder Let’s pretend like we’ve got a full stack plus uh watch it’s just gonna tick down just like that and it’s gonna start filling up our brewing stand so as long as we make sure to keep this full and then put a stack or two inside the barrel here our blaze powder will stay Loaded up for for a long time now we’re not gonna use very much of this because i want to reserve most of this for water bottles but it is nice to have and nice to know so thank you so much for that tip all right all eight of our Modules are in place and i’ve got one of these filled up we’re gonna fill up the rest of them a little bit later but in this bottom dispenser right here we’ve got netherwort and then directly above that we’ve got our magma cream to craft a potion of fire resistance and then This top one right here we’ve got redstone dust to extend the duration of that potion and then we’ve got a bunch of water bottles that we’ve got pre-loaded into the barrel we’ve got the three water bottles right there and we’re actually just gonna go ahead and push the button to activate it these Three water bottles will drop through as water bottles and we actually have a few extra right here and then when we press this button these three water bottles will drop in and then we’ll just put them back up there for good measure and then the next three bottles that drop into the potion Brewing stand will become fire resistance potion so let’s go ahead and test this out there go the three water bottles they are right there it’s been reloaded and we do have nether wart in there going ahead and turning these into awkward potions and now it’s going to go ahead and drop In one magma cream perfect that’s exactly what we want and if we look in the hopper right here we got one redstone preloaded and when this magma cream is all finished up the redstone will drop right in and extend these fire resistance potions from three minutes To eight minutes long so like i said these water bottles have been emptied out of the potion brewing stand we can go ahead and reload those and this setup is all ready to go we can go ahead and press the button we will have three fire resistance potions drop into our barrel And we’ll have three more already brewing up this thing is perfect i absolutely love it we need to fill the rest of these up but we’re not gonna do that just yet we’re gonna go out here and i’m gonna spend a little bit of time decorating this area because i don’t Want it to sit like this we want it to look nice and we’re gonna get it done Okay So All right so if you can see over behind me over my shoulder the few minutes here of this montage we’ve got a completed cave and it’s actually been a couple hours of work live on twitch and again if you’re not following me on twitch be sure to check That out we’d love to have you a part of the flock over there as well but let’s do a quick walk through just to see how this feels in its final state don’t worry about this this is still a mess on the outside we’re gonna fix this up but the interior Is what we’re focused on and all already as we’re walking through it’s just so immersive with all of the vines and leaves these vines will actually grow out a little bit so it’ll get even more immersive in here we got the texture variation we got the nice little waterfall hiding our room You can still see that there’s something back there but if you’re just kind of passing through uh you’re not really even gonna know that that’s there then we’ve got the lanterns hanging to give this a bit of atmosphere at night but they’re not so in your face as to be Noticeable they’re just kind of hidden up there and there’s a few off to the side like that and that and that but then here’s where the fun happens we can come over here and do a little bit of lily pad parkour and go on into our pirate cave where we’ve got Our gold we’ve got some extra barrels to store some things in maybe we store excess potions or water bottles in here so that we can quickly refill or quickly grab and go but guys the droppers on all of these are not fully filled up just yet i do have some work To do on that but that’s gonna have to be in between episodes because we are running out of time i do have a little refilling area here that we can easily access the droppers but i think that’s where we can go ahead and call it an episode but guys that is Gonna do it for today’s video i hope you enjoyed learning how to build an automatic potion brewing setup there are a lot of different ways that you could go with this and i’m really excited with how this turned out i am going to be trying to get these potions filled in in between Episodes so that this will be fully functional by the next episode and we can start using this for our adventures and for our builds thank you so much for watching
