Hey guys it’s jax here and today i’m going to be showing you guys how to make an automatic umbrella in minecraft both working in java and bedrock edition So this is an automatic brewing station and this is hit here right in front of us so we have a selection of potions to choose from and we can click on any of these with a press of a button then we can go ahead over to the boost Or upgrade section and we can change it to whatever we want so let’s make this a lingering potion press the button then i will walk over here and press this go button on the ground and you’ll notice that my brewing stand starts to brew it straight away Now i’ve got this awkward potion of option up here i’ll be addressing this later in the video it’s to brew potions um like invisibility and weakness but i’ll be going more into that a bit later but we’ve got this automatic brewing station so let’s have a look behind this And see what the redstone is we’ve got this super simple intuitive design back here we have a block here which the button is on then the dropper when we press the button the dropper dispenses at the item into this hopper system and it gets taken over to this hopper here Right here and gets locked and let me just break this box here because these are just cover-up blocks and because this hopper is locked here no items will go in or out of it which is exactly what we want but then when we press this button it unlocks that said hopper but before Doing that it dispenses out a netherwart which turns it into an awkward pressure which most potions that need but when you don’t need that you flick this lever and it will take away this block meaning it can’t dispense that anymore let’s have a look at the materials you Will need for this video now of course if you want to learn more about how potion brewing works check out my potion brewing information video the link for that will be in the description down below but here are the materials you need and let’s get going Let’s start by placing a block with a brewing stand on top of it now on top of this brewing stand we want to place a hopper we do this by sneaking jumping and placing it and to the left side of it place another hopper going into it like this Then come one back on this top hopper like so now keep in mind that the rest of our brewing station is going to be to the left side of this so all of our buttons are on this side here now from this hopper to the left side count another 19 with hoppers making Sure you’re connecting them by sneaking like this and placing it so another 19 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19. it should all be connected so when you place one item in this end hopper It should flow all the way along and reach and finally reach its final destination of this hopper here now if it doesn’t do that mine did but if yours doesn’t make sure you have connected all of these hoppers all of their nozzles should be facing sort of This way going towards our brewing stand this one here on the corner is facing inwards like that way to go down straight down into this brewing stand now go about some scaffolding and directly below these last four hoppers i’m going to say it’s the last four that Is on the left most side we’re going to place four scaffolding one two three four with droppers on top of them like this facing directly up then we will leave a one block space and place another twelve one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven Twelve doing the same with the droppers make sure these are droppers not dispensers dispensers will not work in this situation then we can go ahead and break these blocks here then one block diagonally forward from all of these droppers in front of where we place the scaffolding place a redstone lamp Like this going right along leaving the gap and then more redstone lamps now these lamps are optional however i think they look really nice and i think they’re an important part to this but you don’t have to put them in if you don’t want to we’re going to come along And place some blocks directly on top of these lamps like so with buttons on them when you press the button it should light up the lamp and on all of these in the one block gap doesn’t matter what kind of button you use it’s up to you This is what we should have so far so that is the basis of the sort of selection system down we are now going to work on the system over here which is the main system in this brewing station it gets all the timing correct keeping in line with this brewing stain here Come along two and on the second block here break one block down place a redstone torch a block a redstone torch and then a block like this then wrap around using blocks like so to the back place redstone dust here and here a repeater here on four ticks delay this Is what it should look like then a block here in front of the repeater with a redstone torch now if you’ve positioned this all correctly the redstone torch should be directly behind this brewing stand now one block in front of this block here and one up place a redstone lamp like this With a lever on it turn that lever on then place a stone brick slab or any sort of slab needs to be a slab on the top half then two blocks and come down and place the sticky piston facing towards the block and cover that with a redstone You notice the sticky piston should extend and touch this block here and when you turn it off it’ll retract and remove this block from on top of this redstone torch like that place a button in front of the brewing stand right here and then with some we’re going to break Some blocks over here to reveal this redstone torch we’re going to connect up some redstone like so through this torch look going in a u-shape and connecting straight into this torch when you press this button you should notice that this back torch turns off and this torch here turns on if you’ve Done everything correctly facing to the right of the build looking at the face of this block here place a dropper going into this hopper here like this place a double chest like so this is where all of our water bottles are going to be stored feel free to label this now But i will be going over all the different labeling later in the video okay so this is this system complete now let me explain to you what this right here does so basically when we want to brew our potion we click this button it will dispense a netherwart and it’ll Go straight into our system here and then it will send through the other items we have selected now sometimes we don’t want that nether walk for example when brewing a weakness potion so we turn this off and what that does is it pulls this block here back to there Meaning there’s no redstone signal going to that dropper which has the netherwarts in them and that means when we press this button all it does is let this item through now let’s go over the labeling of this lovely machine here as you can clearly see we sort of have two different Sections now one of these sections here the first one on the left is our boost section this section includes all of our boosts that we need to sort of upgrade our potions then if we move over to the right here we have all of our potion making Materials and sort of things to get the actual potion going now you don’t necessarily have to have it in this order exactly however i definitely suggest trying to keep the boosts and the potions separate um as it allows for a smoother potion making experience because it’s clearly set out As well as that i’ve gone ahead and labeled all of these potions with the item that they use and then i’ve named the item like this if i were to grab out a puffer fish and then i’ve named the item in an anvil so a puff of fish gives you water Breathing so i would name this papa fish water breathing and i would place this into the item frame now you don’t have to put these um item frames in a specific order you could have the lingering before the splash potion or for example the water breathing before the night vision that Doesn’t actually matter as long as this syncs up with what you’ve got at the back so what i’ve gone and done is labeled the back droppers as well so this water breathing one which is filled with puffer fish if i follow that along matches up with the water breathing Button here which is what we want now some potions take multiple steps to brew like invisibility i’ve mentioned that so if you want a more detailed view of how to brew these potions check out the potion brewing tree that i’ve linked in the description down below if you Follow those steps you’ll be able to brew every potion let’s have a quick go at brewing the invisibility potion because this potion is a little bit different so we’re going to start by brewing a night vision potion we want to make sure this awkward effect is turned on because for a night vision We need to start off with an awkward potion then once we’ve got that we will press the button and this nether wart will come in now another note to make is that you need to make sure you’ve got blaze powder in this brewing stand now i haven’t got a Chest to put this blaze powder into because you can just fill it up manually here lace powder is made using blaze rods and this is what fuels the brewing stand so you want to make sure we fill that up and we can see we’re slowly getting a night vision potion we’ve got the Awkward potion here then this golden carrot will turn into night vision like we’ve labeled it now that we’ve got a night vision version of three minutes we need to corrupt this potion and the way we do that is using a fermented spider right or the weakness sort of effect We will turn off this awkward portion because we don’t need any more netherwarts press this button wait a short amount of time to let it go into this hopper then press the button and then you will see it start to brew now of course if i wanted to add some Boost i could walk over and do that now so invisibility you can’t get invisibility too because you can’t get more invisible but you can get a longer duration of visibility so that is what i am going to do i’m going to boost the duration of that press this button walk over here Make sure that this lever is flicked notice the time of this is currently three minutes and press this button we will see our redstone dust go down and our invisibility portion start to brew even further into sort of its different steps and stages and we are almost there we now have An eight-minute invisibility potion we can go ahead and take at least potions out and our water bottles will be filled so the main thing we want to do is at this here which is the awkward potion button all of our potions our water bottle here water bottle chest and of course don’t Forget to fill up the blaze powder here but on that note guys you guys are now brewing experts when it comes to using this machine so that is going to be
