Hi everyone I’m Razer raccoon you may have seen a video I produced showing how to build a potion stand that will Brew three potions at a time continuously while you’re AFK and that’s nice but now it’s obsolete the stand behind me will Brew 147 Potions all at the same time The device will load water bottles with water it will load the water bottles into the Brewing stands you put 49 of each ingredient into one hopper and distribute it out to it will distribute it out automatically to all the potion stains and start brewing them all at the Same time and then when you’re done you flip a switch and it collects all of them into a collection station for you now I know what you’re thinking 147 potions but what if I need more than that well I will keep working on it and See if I can do better but for now you’ll just have to make another batch so let’s get started on this the first step is learning how to make a stand that will produce 21 potions at once and in part two I’ll show you how to link Those seven those stands up seven of them together so that you can Brew 147 potions at once all right let’s get going you should start off with a chest array like this this is just a quick tip for people who are if you’re new to Redstone whenever you’re right clicking a Container it opens the container so if you’re trying to place something against a container you need to shift hold the shift key down and place it like so we don’t need that one though just to give an example so you can place it like this And the next thing we’re going to do is going to put a hopper pipe coming out of the back of this so I’m holding down the shift key right clicking and I’ll go back seven and then I’m going to cut us I’m going to put Brewing stands on top And once again the Brewing stands when you place them on top we’ll also need you’ll need to hold down the shift key because Hoppers are a container now we want to put a hopper pipe of seven going into the back of this chest with the Brewing stands on top and we need to be able to turn these Hoppers off so that they don’t empty it out until we’re done Brewing so that’s going to require some Redstone we go one block past and put Redstone across here next we need to put the feed the water Bottles in so I’ve given myself some temporary blocks to stand on you can maybe use dirt blocks or whatever you want I just wanted these to look distinctive I’m going to delete those I just wanted to be clear about that so let’s put uh Hoppers feeding into the side of each of these So I did an extra one and then we’re gonna go up one more and we’re going to a little bit more I’m going to have poppers that feed the water bottle so we’ll go one into that and then above like this there we go this side is also going to need to be Regulated by Redstone so that we can switch it on and off and only feed the bottles in at the right time before we start brewing so we’re going to go up here and we’re going to put the Redstone all the way down like that after I had finished the entire video I Came up with a much better switching mechanism to prevent water bottles from flowing through during the switch over and and getting mixed in with the potions it was just tedious and this one seems to work a hundred percent without letting any water bottles flow through I’m just giving you a heads up that for the rest of the video you’re going to see the old switching mechanism but I’m going to recommend very highly that you use this one that I’m about to show you how to do just don’t let that confuse You we’re going to get rid of this redstone and I’m going to put a repeaters here so yeah again it’s going to look different for just a video just the side of the machine don’t let that bother you um and because this just works so much better And if we go here I’m going to add three blocks like that I’m going to put Redstone here and here okay so now we’re going to put a redstone block here and I’m going to put temporary blocks right here and then break that one because we need to attach a sticky Piston facing this way and now we can get rid of this block if I can fly all right now the last thing to do is we need a weak signal coming from this chest so I’m gonna film about a third full you could put anything in here it doesn’t matter I just want a weak signal not a full signal that’s why I’ve only partially filling them because we want to override that signal for the switch okay so this should work let’s do it a quick check okay and notice that the switch is over so that one side or the other is powered That’s turning off this set of Hoppers or this set of Hoppers depending on whether we’re Brewing or whether we want to dump out our potions and now again just remember this looks different for the rest of the video but this is the switching mechanism you should use You might also want to add a block under the switch and put a sign on it just to show that when the switch is up you’re releasing your potions into the storage and when the switch is down you’re feeding water bottles in and brewing potions the next thing we need is something that Distributes the ingredients out to the various stands so we’ll do it we’ll build that next so we’re going to put Hoppers pointing into the top of each stand this is where you feed ingredients into a brewing stand and then we’re going to put a chest it’s going to collect the ingredients as they Come in doesn’t matter how you Orient them you do need to shift click there’s gonna be a lot of shift clicking because you need them to be separate don’t don’t make double chest that will mess it up and then we’re going to put Hoppers feeding into the back of these chests like that So that’s the first part of this once again we need to be able to turn these hoppers on and off so we’re going to put blocks all the way around here loop around like that and then we’re going to come off of this and have it have a block like that so We’re going to put Redstone down all the way down and then we’re going to have a switch here click it one and we’re going to have a parador going into here and we need torch right there okay so these are off by default and they’re going to turn on as needed now We also need a button put it on the top of there all right now we’re going to put a hopper pipe so they’re connected to each other going into this going into the comparator and then one extra Fun to do well not like that at the end of the pipe there we go it’s a little tricky but you can see we’ve got one extra right there this is how we’re going to feed the ingredients in from here and it goes all the way into this comparator we’re back Around on the other side I realized I put an extra Hopper right here we can get rid of that and then we’re going to put a hopper going into the here this top row like that I’m going to put an extra block here and then Redstone I I left this off Before sorry about that and then this is going to feed the water bottles in so we’re going to put chest there and there now technically we’d basically be done I’m putting a block there too just to even it out we’re basically done if you’re willing to load this up with Water bottles like this uh it’ll work it will feed them into this but that’s the most tedious part to me is filling these water balls up so we’re gonna show how to automate that next first off we need this chest to be able to let the device know when it needs More bottles so the way we’re going to do that is we’re going to compare the signal from this chest with the signal from this chest and this chest is going to be one third full of bottles I found that to be a pretty good number so with this one As you say is also one-third full so it’s sending a signal we’ll put a block here and now that block is going to get energized right now because it has enough bottles but as soon as it doesn’t have enough it’ll get de-energized uh it’s going to take a little bit more Than that because it’s a bigger chest there we go so now that it’s less than a third full that signal stops see and so that’s what’s going to let it know to do something let’s build the device so we’re going to have a hopper going into this chest And then we’re going to put a block on the hopper that’s also and then next to the hopper and then we put glass so we can see what’s going on in the rest of it we do need that block there to be solid though we’re going to then remove the middle Block we just needed something to place blocks against I’m gonna put water in there now we’re going to put lock here I’m gonna have to do that so that we have a block to place against and then we’re going to go to put a dispenser it does need to be a Dispenser not just a dropper dropper will not work and then we could put stuff that’s going to trigger it we need this to be Redstone and then we’re going to put an observer but facing us shiny bread butthole facing this way and then another Observer here when Those are facing each other will it’ll produce a continuous signal and that’s going to this what we want so now if we take out hold on a second we need to make sure this bottle’s in here that is probably enough bottles but if you want to be set for decades And put a hopper and a chest and a quick side tip to get a lot of bottles don’t don’t go out harvesting a ton of sand it’s super tedious there’s a video I made about trading with villagers the basics of it is to make a good melon farm a good Pumpkin farm those are really easy trade them with farmers and then get all the emeralds that you need trade those emeralds with I think Librarians to get as much glass as you need it’s just obscene amounts of glass and you can fill this up with bottles way faster and Way easier and then be done with it understanding how you operate this is important I’ve already done one batch of potions these happen very quickly just to make sure it was working and you do want to make sure that one that you’re in Brew mode here this I’ve put the sign Here that is turned off these Hoppers so that the potions don’t fall out but these are on meaning that it fills them up with water bottles so you can see they’ve all got water bottles I’ve put blaze powder I recommend you look up how to make a blaze farm it’s one of the Easier Farms to make but a little bit of blaze powder goes a long way they all have blaze powder and water bottles in them and now the trick is just load all your ingredients in this first Hopper at the top here in order from left to right So we’re going to load in uh seven netherwort seven blaze powder and seven Redstone now I’m clicking a timer over here after I’ve got all I just loaded all the ingredients in um I don’t have a good uh on screen timer I’m afraid but I’m using my phone’s stopwatch feature right now and You can see that in other words in there something to note is the Redstone is not in there yet it’s up here uh and the hopper above is the blaze powder that’s going to fall in on its own so the last thing we do is press this button after all the ingredients Are fit in that’s going to turn these off just long enough to get the last ingredient in and so now the Redstone is lined up and ready to go right now the blaze powder is brewing so this will be strength potions in a moment they’re awkward potions right now Okay now the Redstone is going in we’re basically Brewing 21 potions in the same speed as Brewing seven of them or one uh three of them excuse me so we’re just putting all seven at once and it’s Distributing all the ingredients for us evenly okay so that was just over a minute About just a minute two seconds which presumably is about the same time it takes to broom three of them so now the other thing you do is we’re going to release the potions now occasionally a water bottle will slip through in this um but you can see these have all Dropped into these Hoppers and they’re now feeding into this chest array here okay so give it a little time it takes time for Hoppers to flow but they’re all in there now and we’re lucky we didn’t get any water bottles you’ll occasionally see a water bottle or two If you do just grab them and put them back at this chest that’s all there is to it for making 21 potions at once you can make much more elaborate potions than we made with as many ingredients as needed just make sure you put them in the right order I’m Going to link the schematic for this in my GitHub account in the description so those of you who are familiar with flightmatica you could go there to get this this is just the first step if you’re if you’re still curious and want to find out how to make 147 potions at once this is the first step to that and I’ll link to the next video that will get into how to link up seven of these together so that you can make 147 potions in about the time it takes to make three potions so hopefully you’re curious hit the Subscribe button Tell your friends about this I appreciate you watching this long thank you Foreign Video Information

Brew 147 potions in just a few minutes by brewing them all at the same time. Fills bottles with water, loads the brewing stands with the water bottles, then accepts 49 of each ingredient and automatically distributes them out to 49 brewing stands. When you’re done, flip a switch and all 147 potions are sent to a collection array of chests.
This video is part 1 and shows how to brew 21 potions at once. Part 2 which is linked will show how to link up 7 of these to brew 147 potions at once.
