BatHeart Games – Mage Rage Jan 2022 – week 1 ep 1 – “All the World’s a Shrine!”

You’re playing a dangerous little game merkin it won’t end well Hello it’s a new mage range for a new year and this time shrines play a large part in it so i’m picking my spells throw away i’m basically banking on finding a shrine pretty soon so i can change my spells let’s see how well that works out oh by the way agent smith

Okay don’t know why i’m agent smith just thought it was worth a change from a christmas jumper to something in my my what you call it wardrobe my wardrobe have made skins i’ve got about 50 of them i think um patreon reward agent smith is indeed a patron of ed case um

Here we go and what shall i wear to top off the agent smith thank you yeah maybe that’s asking too much let’s just do anything actually what a heart glasses look like no no no i’m already wearing dark glasses um eventually a small bow yes yeah that sets it off nicely

Okay and want probably that would go best wouldn’t it okay right here’s the five spells that i’m starting with annihilation uh levitation because i’ve got a look around haven’t i uh blink and telly kelly and healing and here we are woof show me where the shrine is doggy

Um okay oh look we got we got meat already over there um they’ve been killing they’ve already been killing right what are we collecting let’s find out and i’ve got to write them all down i’ve got been spoiled by december and seeing what they were in advance yellow terracotta um brown wool

Now the brown is difficult but the wool comes very easily magenta stained glass deep slate gold ore 32 obsidian oh okay so we’re not going to the nether necessarily but um we have to get the obsidian to be able to go there three times over deep slate redstone or so we’re going digging

Golden redstone we’ve got to travel to get the dyes well only the brown dye really pumpkin it’s interesting because yeah we’re not really good not got to go to the nether not got to go underwater yeah dispenser now that one needs a dot of redstone but also a bow and a fletching table

Now i believe a flashing table is the one with flint is it not now where is base just in case i lose myself minus 2 70 13 17. that’s where i’ve started anyway okay so i suppose um let’s have a quick look around for this um This shrine oh look at those they’re beautiful there’s a shrine seen it already okay There we go now reminding myself how you have to hold snake aim at a spell slot and then switch your one to the off hand to change Thing is i can’t think for the life of me at the moment what other spells i need but i’ll i’ll break off i think and and think about that shortly so let’s let’s make a start it really was easy right oh are these lilacs are they magenta colored they make magenta die

They do they do no what a mess [Laughter] right i was i was heading this way to get some stone that i thought i saw up here oh wow wow and all kinds of other things right well let’s let’s telekinesis it into my inventory let’s make some basic tools

Oh no no no let’s assume we’re not having to do that this week we actually did was it the last week i played i actually had to to do a bit of um of growing of crops okay let’s get one bit more of that and make a feronachio all right um

And some coal are there any there any naughty guys down there waiting for me um okay um yeah let’s get a bit more of these things all right um iron i don’t know i’m looking through my list of things i need glass wool and terracotta and food

I want to go back where i was and um oh there’s a jungle ouch hurt oh look right now where was that it’s probably disappeared now isn’t it where the the doggies had been killing sheep that’s an irritation oh well got lots of flowers here oh eggs and i don’t need eggs okay

So we’ve got the yellow dye that we need as well um Oh dragon now magenta brown right okay magenta brown that sounds like some some lady’s name lady of ill repute or is my mind just completely completely weirdified hey george hi on the hill fool on the hill hello there was a ruined portal now i mustn’t forget i haven’t picked up food yet

Now um how did i do that the changing a spell now if i wanted to change say healing after using it oh i didn’t need to use it but say i hearing to revealing and annihilation to lava there we go But i’m gonna do it Where did the other one oh there’s the wall um And where did that wall go oh i’ve lost it there it is okay now i’ve got some food and it’s cooked there seems to be a room portal over here and i always like to go and have a look at those that would always be amusing if i had um

Not made it across that ravine doing such a casual jump obsidian that’s what’s here isn’t it um don’t really need the gold but let’s take what i can okay get a bit more i thought to take that um that gold block as well shouldn’t it okay

How much have i got then 15 obsidian i’m starting to collect garbage things all right let’s go up in the air skellies are there already let’s wander back past that village because we saw the jungle on the other side of it ancient mage now mustn’t forget to pick up some

Simple things i’ve got to get some um terracotta soaking some clay Sand bit of traveling all the dragons were booked out apparently tonight otherwise i would have chosen a dragon but you get a good view from up here does that mean it’s a blue dragon because the sky is completely clear isn’t it Isn’t it i can see the stars and i’m sure if it was a real rainstorm i would not have been able to see the stars Blue dragon there you are now once we’ve got to the right place Okay where are my hmm come on then um can’t see them but i never can is that them yes okay all right let’s get down here And grab all right and float oh no that is not that’s not the kind of floating i wanted all right now i’m set up here let’s take stock for a minute i want to make um lovely brown wool and that can start me off and then

Oh yeah the right yeah terra cotta and i want to get terra cots i want to get clay i want to get i shouldn’t miss a pumpkin while i’m going around um i want to dig some gravel to get flint look look is that no that’s that’s far too bright unlike me um

All right oh but that that’s worth going to because i might get some more it’s a it’s a room portal you see and i might get some more uh obsidian and i’ll be well on my way to my my full obsidian collection hora might be dead dead and back to the start

Always a possibility and looking around while i’m up here to see oh there’s a okay can i hurt somebody just feel the need don’t want the crying kind of obsidian where did i oh if i emptied the chest oh yeah darn it there we go um 27 i’m almost there

Might as well pick this bit up as well and then throw out all the things i don’t need oh it picks up flint as well excellent okay now what i’m gonna try and do let’s go for a fly it was a dragon knows that white dragon up there there we go

Nice on the trees just to my left here we go we’re going back past spawn oh wow what happened there wait stop shooting me do you know how mean that is okay right all right now what about um let’s change this one no lava let’s um yeah there we go

Let’s shed a little light right i want to get deep slate um gold and redstone ore so i need to go deeper slate man i would like let’s let’s try that annihilation that i was there we go you’re annihilated sir right this this actually doesn’t go deep enough so let’s

Try a different hole in the ground so okay well that was an interesting little experience actually while i’m up here what about trying um Oh i can make the flashing table i think i bet i’ll i’ll do it in front of a no [Laughter] so close to missing that right let’s make a fleshing table is it just like that no it’s not it’s it’s got more wood in it than that

That’s a fletching table there we go um i need to kill spiders or get string somehow for a bow to make a dispenser but right pumpkin i mustn’t forget the pumpkin but i need sand and cly well there’s clay but it’s already died isn’t it What’s in here man what’s in here and what’s in here thank you lovely very nice yes appreciate it what’s in here oh bucket of water well that comes in useful sometimes i’ll take it oh i’m not interested in that um let’s pop down the let’s just consolidate a bit by doing that

But not much right okay so and this building is quite an industrial sort of place isn’t it oh but that that building isn’t wasting my time but oh emeralds how lovely um don’t need them not this time um i’ll take that just in case right i want to get up high and see
