Battle Mini-game – Map Pack 3 – New Maps

Hello this is stumpy and welcome to a minecraft let’s play video and today i am playing some more of the the battle minigame but this is not part of the uh the the 10 in a row challenge uh this is basically because they released some new

Maps recently and i want to i want to check them out basically hello so yeah i will be continuing the ten in a row challenge on the the previous maps uh but i thought i just wanted to play these maps for fun so there’s invasion and there is shipyard and let’s start

With the invasion first shall we and yeah let’s just give it a bit of a go so i’m not gonna be doing like a um a proper 10 in a row challenge on these maps because there’s only two new maps i don’t know just be alternating between

The same two maps like over and over and over and over again because yeah otherwise it will probably get a little bit boring so what i might do is i’ll finish the 10 in a row challenge on the the previous maps that i’m doing and then i’ll kind of like um maybe do

Either a different challenge or the 10 in a row challenge on like all of the maps like once they’ve all been like eventually added to the the game and i think that might be a better way of doing it so let’s go and uh grab some of

These uh these potions it looks like there’s someone there saying hello at all where how where do i go how do i get out of it okay i think i can go out this way and okay it looks like there’s some there’s some scary drops all around the

Place on this map so let’s uh let’s be uh be careful as we make our way around here it looks like this might be a map uh where you can get knocked off a lot i seem to be like on um like like the rooftops i guess around this

Area here and uh i want to be careful because we’re in the um uh the city texture pack so i always need to to kind of remind myself what the um the the chest look like when we’re playing in like these different texture packs because i’m so used to

Kind of looking for the the normal chest i really need to kind of keep an eye out to make sure i’m looking for the the right kind of chest speaking of the right kind of chest here is one over here and oh i’m gonna grab uh this

Poison potion as well i get rid of one of those uh those harming potions and it’s only down to a 1v1 i don’t know what was going on there if you saw the um the like the the chat whatever it’s called um people were going crazy joining and leaving all over the place

Then so i don’t know if they were lagging in and out or whatever but uh yeah it looks like a lot of the the people that were in the game have them uh have left and we’ve got some new people in uh but basically it means

We’re down to a 1v1 so hopefully i’m going to win this is going to be my first game well actually this is this is technically my second game because i did have one game on this but it wasn’t really a proper game basically this is what ended up happening like i played on

The the ship um uh shipyard map and i kind of ended up like falling down and then i got hurt and then i was kind of invisible but flying and then i was trying to attack the person with potions and then it ended up with them kicking

The other player and then i ended up somehow drawing so that was my first game but i’m not counting that because that wasn’t a a proper game so i’m gonna count this is my my first proper game and i’m really liking this map it’s really it’s really interesting

I fell down i knew that was going to be the way it was going to end and derpy pig gaming was able to to win the round how embarrassing i hate it when you’re doing this because you know that when it’s down to two people left like everyone’s watching you

Everyone’s watching and seeing what you’re you’re doing and then if you end up embarrassing yourself and doing something like that everyone just saw i’m just gonna go and hide in the other the corner a little bit over here just uh just to hide my face because of how embarrassing that that moment was

These guys don’t seem to mind too much though but yeah that might look really cool i think that’s gonna be a map that you really want to learn well like it looks like there’s lots of like parkour you can do and like really smart

Routes you can kind of go on to to get around the place so i think that that’s going to be a good one to to kind of end up really learning and mastering because i think that once you’ve got like a really efficient route to kind of make

Your way through and get all of the chests that’s going to be a good one but look at this map this is shipyard so as i said i saw it very briefly but how good does it look it’s in the um the steampunk texture pack and who voted

For cove come on the brand new maps just came out why are you voting for cove oh if we end up playing cove i’m going to be so disappointed like i like cove i really enjoy cove but i want to play the the new maps and yes i was able to win

The the vote yes i really just want to look at this map it just looks so amazing doesn’t it i know i’m not going to get a a big chance to look around while everyone’s hunting me down but uh yeah it’d be good to look around i know

I thought that was like a um an invisibility potion or something but it wasn’t it was some sort of splash potion and this this person seems to know where they’re going look at them let’s follow this person for a while i’m not really uh trying to hunt them down but they

Seemed they seem to know what’s happening around the place they’re little hello please don’t attack me okay looks like they’re trying to team up with me i don’t want to to team up with anyone that’s kind of kind of my rule for these uh these battle mini games i

Don’t know look at the bow it’s like a crossbow that’s cool and whoop looks like they have changed their mind about teaming up with me and they’re they’re going crazy throwing all of the potions at me i want to be careful because i got really really hurt then

But i can have this regeneration potion and that should help me out and there we go there’s someone here that i can kind of uh try and trap on the the stairs the regeneration potion seems to be doing its job and uh getting my health back up

So i lived i lived here to fight another day but there is someone right there so let’s back off for for just a little bit uh to try and get my health up a little bit more and then we can go in again it looks like they only have a stick oh

It’s got a fire aspect stick though but there we go i was able to take them out this has been a um a pretty a hectic round to start with it’s kind of one of the the the texture packs where i’m not very good at kind of working out what everything is but

That’s kind of because it’s only just come out i’ve not played in it very much so we got oh this is an invisibility potion let’s go and uh let’s go and have that now some apples these might be important because that was my last food

And yeah let’s go and try and work our way around like it’s always a little bit weird the first time you play one of these maps because you generally don’t know what you’re you’re doing very well in them what does more damage it looks like the

Uh the sword still does the the most damage so let’s kind of throw away these things and uh yeah let’s see if we can uh let’s see if we can make our way back to the middle so something else that the update changed is basically the way the

Um the chess replenish i think they basically wanted to to make it so that the way to win isn’t always just like camping the uh the the middle so i think that they’ve um they’ve changed it now so uh things either don’t respawn as much in the the

Middle or i don’t know maybe they don’t replenish if you’re standing really close to them or something along those lines so yeah we’re going after to see what’s happening with that and it looks like there’s a big fight going on here whoa that person got knocked right there

Oh they’ve got a knockback it’s like a knockback diamond shovel i think that is this might be quite dangerous actually let’s try and use a a harming potion and there we go look at that they must have been really weak i just got them with the harming

Potion i was able to win i didn’t even realize that we were down to a 1v1 okay it looks like i might have um i might have made up for my my poor performance on the the first game with that game there that was good that was a really

Action-packed look i took out four people that round 99 hearts of damage inflicted certainly not my best but considering that was my first time playing the map that’s not too bad but to be fair for a lot of these people it’s probably their first time playing

The map as well so yeah maybe i shouldn’t be too happy all right then let’s kind of just switch between the two like for this um uh for this video i’m basically just gonna be alternating between these two maps or we might be playing cove because someone really wants to play kofi

Literally so as i’m or temple so literally as i’m recording this video the battle pack has just come out like i’m recording this on the day it came out so these maps are brand new so who is voting to play cove and temple today there we go looks like we have two votes

For an invasion and everyone’s everyone’s just voting to kick each other at this point that’s one of the the new things that they added is basically the ability uh ability to to vote to kick each other um which i think could be handy in case i don’t know if

Someone’s cheating in some way or like picking kind of the annoying skins or something but uh hopefully people don’t end up just trying to to kick each other out of like revenge or something that’s kind of the thing that i’m worried about uh but so far it hasn’t seemed to be too

Bad and there we go is that a diamond sword that’s not a die i’ve got a diamond sword it’s really weak though if you look at it it’s really nearly destroyed so i want to make sure i use this at the the right time and maybe try and use a different

Weapon at first and all this person’s going after me he’s just seen what i have look at that i can just use my diamond sword to scare people off there’s a button here is this like a lift is this going to launch me up oh whoa whoa whoa

Okay it just launched me away that was um painful don’t want to do that again i guess maybe if i guided myself i could have landed on a ladder or something but that hurt me big time let’s hold on let’s not drop the boat nope just bounce that down

The stairs let’s get this back so i really want to get another weapon i know you might be saying why do you want another weapon when you have a diamond sword that’s because the diamond sword isn’t going to last very long you know i’m going to i’m going to make the most

Of it for while i am while i have it but it’s not going to last for forever it looks like uh there’s a chest over here which has just been refilled so let me go and make my way to this and there we go i got myself a um

Another melee weapon here so we can go and uh uh use the the pickaxe and then switch to the the sword maybe for like the the final hit or something it might be a quite a good way to do this i want to be uh be careful about food as well

Because uh yeah i don’t have a a huge amount of food no i’ve got a um i’ve got a sword as well i didn’t even notice i had a sword so yeah let’s get rid of the the the pickaxe and uh yeah let’s go and let’s go after some people i’m feeling

I’m feeling fairly confident at the moment i think i’m gonna lead in with the um the the wooden sword and then if i feel uh like i need to i can then switch to the diamond sword but i basically want to uh to save the the

Diamond sword for when i up most need it and this level is crazy there’s just things all over the place there’s just so many different pathways and ladders and walkways and ways leading to each other and slime blocks that you can bounce off and all of these things going

On this is definitely going to be one that you need to learn and oh i think we got ourselves another elevator let’s see if um let’s see if this one goes better than the last one went there we go that was a a little bit of a safer a journey uh

There’s another chest out here is this one being taking it oh it hasn’t there’s a some armor in there looks like this is pretty much the uh the same as what i am uh what i already had though i think that might be a a slighter improvement

There so uh that’s not too bad and i got lots of them oh did someone just drop past me then i think i think i think someone just dropped down and just died underneath down there let’s uh let’s use the the ladder to make our way down but let’s

See if they um let’s see if they had any any goodies that we can we could use better make the most of it uh they do have a um they didn’t have a few more arrows so that’s gonna be handy and actually we’re down to a 1v1 look at

This let’s go and make our way to the the middle then because that’s uh most likely where they are so where is the middle looks like that’s the the center down there uh i can’t see them yet though so uh let’s uh let’s keep an eye

Out just to make sure we don’t get snuck up on at all there they are right let’s make the most of this bow and arrows i got so much um ammo for this and it looks like is that like a diamond shovel i think they might

Have down there so yeah let’s make the uh the most of the the bow and arrow and uh try and battle them at range if i can and i do have this uh this diamond sword for for backup so i can go and use that

If i if i need to let’s go and just have my uh my hunger up for now and all they got a bow and arrow as well i don’t know if they got as much arrow as i do but i want to be careful because they can they

Can fight me at range just like i can fight them at range so i think once i get a few nice hits in then i might kind of push in and try and finish them off and there we go that was a nice shot there can i get another shot oh i should

Have hit that one that was a bad miss let’s go in with the uh let’s go with this sword first then shall we and then let’s maybe switch to the diamond sword and all they’re running they are running away but i’m on the chase so i want to

Be really careful to not fall off here there’s so many pitfalls all over the place i really don’t want her to fall down but i want to hope that they fall down and i rick i led them to a dead end they ran to here and there was nowhere

Else to go actually i guess they could have jumped up into here maybe but there we go that was a another good round as i said i think i’m definitely uh making up for the uh the first round which was if i’m honest pretty embarrassing right then let’s go and vote for for

Shipyard i think based on first impressions i do prefer shipyard a little bit i think it just looks really cool and i think that i think that invasion will be good but at the moment it’s a little bit stressful to play just because just because of how many

Pitfalls there are and kind of moving it around is quite difficult it’s kind of hard to know where you can go and where you can’t go but i think that’s why i said it’s going to be a good map like you know once we’ve all played a while

Like i think in about a month or so once everyone’s really good and mastered it that might be like a really good arena then but for now when no one knows what they’re doing it’s kind of challenging but it’s fun it’s fun challenging and that’s what’s uh that’s what’s kind of a

Quite good fun about it so uh what’s everyone voting for now for everyone voting look at that three votes for cove it looks like we’re going to have a um a little bit of a break uh for uh from playing the new map and play can

Actually tell i want to play the new map let’s just back out of here and let’s just load up a um a new game and then let’s go into try and get the the new maps because i want to play the new maps i enjoy cove cove is probably in my top

Three favorite maps so far but i want to play the brand new maps because they’ve only just come out so what i’m going to do is i’m going to load up a new game i’m going to cut ahead in the uh the video until it’s just about to start and hopefully we can

Be playing on one of the uh the the two newer maps okay everyone welcome back um i don’t know in the game yet but i just had five rounds in a row where everyone voted for cove so basically i haven’t known what to do because it

Keeps just coming up with cove again so what i’ve done is i’ve uh set myself to appearing offline because it’s basically the same people were joining back in the the game with me which is fine but the problem is they was voting for for cove

Every time and i want to play the new map so i don’t know why they didn’t want to see the new maps or whether they were trying to troll me or or something but basically i’ve now loaded up a brand new game so there’s not as many people in

The the game because a lot of people they can kind of just look at my profile and then they see when i’m joinable so like join in immediately so yeah we are now able to play the new maps it just makes me laugh so much because you know

I like cove i enjoy playing cove but you know these brand new maps were at least you know today as i’m recording this and then everyone’s just voting for the old maps it just it just made me laugh quite a lot that it just ended up being the

The same map again and again and again but anyway we got into a game i know hello all right charging me is he using a fishing rod i think he just charged me down with a fishing rod right at the beginning of the game and oh snowballs

Do we have knockback snowballs now oh tell me that we have knockback snowballs that would be amazing i’ve wanted proper knockback snowballs for ages just in like the um not so much for the the battle game but just in like the the game in general just like think of all of the minigames

That i could do with with knockback snowballs and look how cool these paintings are i’ve not used the um the steampunk texture pack very much but it looks awesome doesn’t it and then in like this map as well this is uh this is really cool right then let’s make our

Way to the middle then so it looks like the chest won’t be refilling in the the same way they they uh they used to and did that person is he always down look at him look at him being sneaky down there let’s see if i can knock him off

Nope looks like he’s going to to survive is that like a place you’re supposed to be able to to go to it kind of looks almost like a little bit of like a cheaty place doesn’t it is there any way oh no it just leads to another part of

The level that was a pretty smart escape route from her from him there i am uh yeah i’m pretty impressed by that and it looks like we’re down to the the show down now i do have this uh this knockback axe which might be um uh pretty handy i think it would be

Better on the the invasion map but this is um they’re still gonna be pretty decent i know did they fall down i think they might have fallout they either fell down or they ended up lagging out of the game but either way that wasn’t a victory not a a very uh

Heroic victory from myself i took out one person i did my bit all right then i want to do um i want to do that map again let’s vote for let’s vote for shipyard again because i i am enjoying that map i think so far uh more

Than in the than invasion so let’s vote for it again chances are i’m going to end up playing cove again but i guess we’ll see but yeah i’m going to cut ahead in the other the video again until the uh the next round is just

About to begin and yeah we can uh carry on playing okay the uh the game has a has just loaded up uh we’re on the other the same map again i think i might be against the same person again they’re at least using the the same skin so i guess this can be

A a rematcher of sort seen as the uh the last one didn’t really count properly and looks like actually i think there’s three of us in the the game at the the moment so uh yeah let’s uh let’s go and try and grab as many chests as we can so

If you don’t know how it works basically the the size of the um the the map uh depends on the amount of people in the the game so i reckon that we’re probably playing on like the um the the smaller version of the the map now so it’s

Always good to remember both versions because if you kind of learn where all of like your favorite chess are like normally and then you play on the other version you might kind of get a little bit stuck you know trying to to go somewhere that isn’t even there or has changed it in

Some way so yeah it’s always best to learn all of the the different versions of the the map to be honest i’ve actually had um not very much trouble finding chests you know a lot of the time uh when you um first start playing like one of these uh

These new maps it’s a little bit difficult at first to find where all of the the chess are ever so far i have had uh no problem whatsoever on these maps and all right is that better so that’s gold protection too and that is oh iron

Right let’s make sure we keep the the iron one out of hand and uh yeah let’s um let’s go make our way to the the middle then because it looks like there’s not many people in the the game anyway so let’s see uh let’s see if we

Can try and take someone out pretty early because i got some some pretty nice things to to start with it doesn’t actually look like there is anyone in the middle ah but there is someone up over the top there oh look look at that chest they’re trying to make their way

To that is a sneaky chest i got a nice shot on them them there there they’re trying to back up i don’t think they actually know exactly where i am right now i got some some nice shots on them at all lucky i turned around because someone was sneaking back at me i’m

Worried they have knockback actually though no i scared them off there we go i took them out i thought they had way better stuff than me but somehow i was able to to take out this uh this person i am not complaining though let’s go and uh grab anything that they

Have that i might want um i have this regeneration potion a few spare arrows that should be uh okay and yeah let’s go and let’s go make our way to the middle now and what was the um what was this weapon that they had actually let’s uh drink this and let’s

See what they did have it looks like a diamond shovel uh let’s have a look a little a little look at the damage so it does um it does the same damage as the the sword but does have knock backer as well so i think i’m gonna stick to using

The the shovel uh just so i can have knockback because that might help me out a little bit later on but let’s um let’s try and find out where they are last time i saw them they’re over that way somewhere but they could have really moved around to pretty much anywhere at

This point and i think i got some iron boots there by the looks of things so let’s go and grab them and uh i’ve got a potion of invisibility here i might as well go and drink that and all it looks like the uh the chest that they were up

At has a refilled so let’s go and try and make our way to that i do want to be careful because we are in the the showdown now and can i can i jump and get that chest from here i think i might be able to but

This is a little bit risky but there we go i was able to to grab it and uh nothing particularly amazing things and there kind of things that i had already and ah i have spotted him i know where he is and as you can see the chest in

The middle aren’t refilling like they used to be it looks like that uh strategy is definitely not as good as it used to be at least so and that’s so that’s pretty good if you ask me and can i oh look i can open up

These i might be able to ambush him like i can ambush him by dropping down here and he did not expect that did i get him with the poison i’m not sure if i did get him with the uh the poison there though but let’s go and drink this uh

Regeneration and try and charge in has he backed himself off into a corner i know he’s got someone to escape through but there we go i was able to sneak up on him and oh watch see what sword does he have there he seemed to have quite a

Good sword let’s kind of back off and have a bow fight instead because his sword does seem to be pretty good it looks like he doesn’t really know what to to do right now i think he should charge in and use his sword but he’s just touching like crazy this is like

Something out of the matrix i can’t hit him oh this is just getting embarrassing now to be fair normally if they charge straight at you it’s easy to get them but when they dodge it’s quite hard to get them but there we go that was the most awkward battle ever it

Went off for so long with him just dodging to the side but there we go i was able to to win the round i’m enjoying this let’s have one more go one last round seeing as the the game has filled up and it looks like we’re playing other maps than other than cove

Let’s go and have one more game on invasion and then we’re going to call it a day so it’s quick because there’s actually like that there’s like 12 maps in the game now so this is going to be really good because if i just kind of play

In general in the future there’s going to be such like a huge amount of variety like i feel like i haven’t even properly learned you know the the last group of maps yet and wait a minute castle castle’s new this whole time i’ve been thinking that

There’s only two new maps out of castles knew i was i was thinking that it was siege look because siege has the big castle oh i think that might you reckon that’s inside the siege castle i don’t know because it’s in a different texture pack okay this whole time i’ve

Been saying that there’s only two maps added i’ve been wrong because there are three maps added there’s also castle right then luckily i didn’t end the video at the end of the last round let’s have a let’s have a go on castle then hopefully uh we end up getting it it

Looks like someone has voted for an invasion as well uh hopefully we do get lucky and and have castle uh but yeah silly me silly me i just looked down at the list and i just saw um yeah i just saw castle and i assumed it’s siege and it looks like this is

Invasion so i’m going to go and just play this game but i am going to cut ahead in the the video until we get to to go and play a castle soon as that is the uh the brand new map that’s silly me okay welcome to a castle

The uh the hidden secret map well it’s not a hidden map it’s uh it’s a map that probably everyone knew about and was shouting to to me about all of the times that i was saying that they only added uh two new maps i was thinking it’s weird because i was

Thinking that i thought they were gonna add three new maps and when i only saw the two i was getting confused but it was just me getting confused between uh siege and and castle but right then uh let’s uh let’s go and give this uh this

Level a go then i like the look of it i like the um i do quite like the the kind of the simple looking maps to like play on like it’s good to have like a really nice background but sometimes when it’s kind of quite a clear looking uh map it kind

Of it just makes it easier to to see where people are and things and uh this does look like a a nice kind of bright and open level which i think might be a quite good fun to to have some intense battles on so let’s uh let’s not have

Any battles yet let’s go and try and get some more things it looks like uh this person’s charging after me so i might not have a a choice to get into a battle and whoa they are using tnt uh they did end up getting taken out

Though this person has a sword so i want to be very careful and they’re really charging in i think i got some nice hits on them and there we go i was able to to survive a little bit longer that was a a very intense start considering i said

I didn’t want to to get into a battle yet i i got in quite a lot of fighting very early on there i got is that a i got a a strength potion here where’s the um where’s that person’s sword then that’s what i’m really after did he

Leave it down here in the petunias i hear it is down here so what damage does this do uh so that has fire aspect on it which is good but i think i’m gonna go for the uh the sword instead uh and so actually let’s go and grab this and

Let’s have both of them so i can set them on fire and then try and deal the the the damager against them so let’s go and grab some of these uh these potions seen as they’re lying around here have a little bit to eat and yeah let’s go and

Carry on roaming the the map let’s kind of go to the um the other side of the map over here just to see if there are any um uh chefs that have been left over on uh on this side and just check out the map a little a little bit like of

Course i’m playing to to win i always played to try and win but as well as i’m more just kind of trying to check out and i said okay can i eat the cake no there’s cake but it doesn’t let you eat it what a tease why put cake there if

They’re not gonna let you eat it and oh did this does this do these buttons do anything okay i lit something lit up then whoa what was that is that to like launch you across the room let’s have another go at that i might regret this if this ends up

Hurting me but is that gonna launch me across the room um i think it’s supposed to but i don’t know where you’re supposed to stand for that that’s um a little bit crazy right then it looks like there are some people around the the middle of the map there’s still

Three people left in the games i want to be very careful i’d be uh be happy if i got a bit more armor or something before getting into too much of a battle and whoa that scared me then seeing that set of armor no look there’s levers behind these armor

Hmm do you reckon that they opened something up or something i might have just found a bit of a secret here i pulled them both down did anything oh did that open up this chest here i think i might have opened up this chest here there we go there’s a uh

A stampy tip for this map yeah i didn’t know the map existed but i now have discovered some of the the secrets on it but it looked like there were some people yeah there’s some people kind of roaming around here let’s see if i can

Kind of lure this person down into a bit of an ambush and then try and get them there we go they weren’t expecting that i got some nice early hits on them then there we go i think they actually had better stuff than me but because i was

Able to like ambush them i think i was able to to get a good hit on them let’s go and try and get this person they’ve got me really weak though and now they’re scared they are running away there we go i was able to take them out

As well uh let’s go and have a healing potion as fast as we can at all they’re an enchanted bow as well don’t mind if i do and what armor do we have here then it looks like is there a better helmet we can go and grab that uh there’s an

Enchanted bow we can replace uh our normal bow with uh with that uh there’s that shovel there the diamond shovel i’m not too worried about that i don’t think that’s gonna be uh much better than what i have is there anything else here that i particularly care about nope not

Anything else uh overly amazing around there but i might as well we’ll have a little look in there in this chest here uh yeah but i might as well go and grab one of these other potions uh just seems i have a bunch of spare potions anyway i

Might as well go and have this at hand we’re down to the showdown now though pretty much i mean not the official showdown but we’re down to a 1v1 at least and i see you hiding up there on that little perch don’t think that i

Don’t and i see you on that side as well we’re directly he’s going to go back to the other side yep there he is right there let’s go and try and fire it through the gap let’s see if i can shoot it before he arrives oh back to the

Other side again oh that was a nice shot by him there going back to this side it doesn’t matter so much about you sneaking when i can see your game attack now and the other side oh that was a nice shot i got him there he’s got to be

Really weak surely now this isn’t this isn’t a fight i really want to stay in too much though i’d rather kind of uh charge in and get him uh get him close up and it looks like he’s uh he’s agreed with mixed look i got this strength

Potion if i drink this at the the right time that could really give me a huge advantage here we go here’s the the strength potion let’s try and get them on fire and then let’s try and hit them with the the sword all day good am they

Got an eye in a an iron axe so that was going to deal a lot of damage but the strength potion is absolutely amazing in this game so there we go that is the uh the third map in the battle video game i can’t believe i didn’t even realize it

Was there this whole time how many times have i scrolled past it ignoring it anyway hopefully you enjoyed this video this is my first time playing the new maps overall impressions very good i think i might kind of try and do like a a top 10 list of my favorite maps once

They’re all released so oh yeah that might be a quite a fun thing to do but anyway that’s in this episode here thank you so much for watching and i’ll see you all later bye
