Foreign Guys I have been living in the most naive ignorance for far too many years now when I thought about Minecraft I never Associated it with uh beautiful Graphics I always thought it had that simplistic impactful art style that was just so I don’t know so hello why are you so

Interested in me Mr Cow what is why I’m trying to do an intro here mate what’s going on yeah okay right I’m gonna carry on um yeah that’s simplistic iconic impactful art style that everyone knows across the entire world but I never really defined it as beautiful but I

Haven’t been engaging with the modern Community or the Shader creation Community for Minecraft and today I’m setting that right I’m doing the right thing I’m educating myself and learning just how stunning Minecraft can be welcome to Minecraft in VR maxed out on a 4090 with the complementary shaders pack applied and

The physics mod applied which I’ll show you more about in a minute but you can see there knocking into that tall grass and it’s wobbling the way it should now I am just playing on creative mode right now um it’s been so long since I played Minecraft properly that I would get

Slapped immediately if I tried to play Survival I wouldn’t even better remember how to build anything but uh for the purposes of this video I want to kind of go on a tour show you the physics and just show you how stunning this game is

If you have a PC that can run the Shader packs and ideally the physics packs as well because this physics mod is something pretty special right let’s get cracking I’m gonna need a pickaxe I’m gonna need a normal ax I’m probably gonna need a sword so I

Want to go down there I want to find out what’s in there as well and uh yeah then we can get going right this is creative so I can just give myself whatever the hell I want can I diamond stuff why would it not be diamond stuff you know I

Can have whatever I want where’s the sword give me a diamond sword as well yeah thank you very much right first things first let me show you some of these physics in this physics mod also can you see the light coming down through the tree it’s creating these

Light beams that’s part of what the shade is doing and there’s tons of these shaders as I say I’m using the complementary Shader pack um because I really like the way it makes the game look it’s clean it still has that iconic kind of Minecraft green but then you also get stunning lighting

And things like these light beams just like breathtaking and here in VR okay so this is the vivecraft mod so I can use right trigger to chop or I can physically chop now check out check out what this physics mod does it’s insane oh honestly I can’t I can’t get over that

And you push it all around I I can’t I cannot get over that I cannot get over how cool that is to see the blocks kind of crumble apart like that now I’m sure to some of you it won’t be a new thing you’ve probably already seen

This but for me seeing that is a revelation like that completely changes Minecraft for me um and turns into something so impressive it makes me want to get right back into playing Minecraft um and I haven’t played it properly for years literally years uh okay let’s take the pickaxe now

It gets even more crazy when you start chipping away at blocks quite low down under the ground so if I might just cheat here and use the right trigger to chop away this block but if I take that block out look at it it all starts to go oh my Lord

Oh and all these individual little kind of particles start colliding and rolling through the world how well this performs on kind of lower end rigs but I was doing some testing last night and I was pretty much maintaining 90 frames per second constantly on 40 90 with this Shader and these physics

Enabled that sheep’s gonna fall in if he’s not careful build myself a staircase out of here I’m stuck under the ground come on let me out that’s it that’s it that’s it that’s it brilliant right yeah so when I’m playing um in VR with this Shader enabled look at the

Water and the physics mod pack enabled I’m I’m maintaining a pretty solid 90 frames per second the entire time I did watch it dip occasionally um it will struggle certainly in some of these Overworld areas that are a bit more dense you see it dropping to the

80s um in the worst examples when action gets quite heavy it dip down into the kind of 50s maybe 60s but it’s only for a few seconds and then it Springs back up so performance is actually it’s actually pretty damn good considering just how amazing this looks oh my God

There’s a village okay I need to go I need to go and see what’s going on in the village I’m gonna take a sword just in case hello mate how’s it going look at me I’m learning all about Minecraft all over again wow this is actually a pretty

Cool looking Village hello sir you’re right I promise I’m not here to murder you I know it looks like I am rocked up with this sword but uh I’m gonna let you crack on with your life son why are you making these weird like Squidward noises at me why do they look

A bit like Squidward to be honest they’re long dangly noses now this isn’t the first time I’ve played Minecraft in VR um I played it plenty a few times I played it ages ago um this is the first time I’m playing with vivecraft the vivecraft mod um previously I just played with the

Like official VR support that’s a little bit janky doesn’t let you swing your your items that that is terribly built the structural Integrity of that is is questionable at best I need to sort that out mate uh okay let me just hold on doing you a favor here because

Otherwise your house is going to disappear into the sea and I’m pretty sure you don’t want that to happen I wouldn’t want it to happen you know let me just uh not sure why I’m so concerned about this man’s house but uh that should fix his problems going forward

Beto banjo more like Bob the bloody Builder that’s me that’s me now there are also ragdoll physics um with this physics mod so if I hadn’t really want to but I’m going to kill one of these pigs um and you’ll see they ragdoll well he’s not dead he’s not dead

And then you can push him around and that’s the same for villagers for creepers for zombies whatever it might be they turn into like a full Ragdoll come on come on no come here we go this has a full Ragdoll after you’ve killed them is there a cat

I swear I just heard a cat are there cats in this game now Oh my God I’m so oh my God that looks exactly like my cat that’s insane it’s like the same color pattern this is brilliant hello honestly that does look exactly like my cat Mimi I’ll put a picture up on the screen like it’s the same color pattern it’s the

It’s the oranges and the black on the face and the white amazing hello Pig no don’t kill the cat kill the pig kill the pig there we go I only killed the pig because it was kind of in my way now don’t cry at me I

Didn’t mean to hit you I’m sorry if I did now I’ve learned one thing from playing a lot of modded VR Skyrim and now this in recent weeks I am a sucker for lighting like good lighting with these God rays and the changing of the day and the tone changes like right now

You’ve got that kind of warm um I can’t remember what this is called it’s like the golden hour isn’t it it’s when it’s when everyone takes their selfies because they look amazing um but as the Sun starts to go down and these light beams start to creep across

The land it just looks amazing and this really does it for me this this is this is what I love and then look the Sun starts to starts to dip and night falls and again like the lighting changes I I just I just love it I just absolutely

Love it I think it’s amazing you look amazing you’re friendly right I don’t have to kill you you’re okay I don’t want to try to kill you because you’re bigger than me so if we can just leave it at that that’ll be great right I

Think it’s time for me to dig into the Earth and see if I can find a cave I’m just gonna go down for a bit and see what happens down down down we go down we go oh my God I’m living inside the particles right now I can’t see anything no

There’s a lot of skeletons in here let’s illuminate this place a little bit oh it’s exactly like Indiana Jones exactly the same wow this is cool all right stick some of them up now it doesn’t look quite as good down here in the dungeons I would say that the um the

Shaders are at their best when you’re outside with the natural light like don’t get me wrong there’s still uh this still looks very cool down here and you do still get the lighting coming in but there’s something about the there’s something about being upstairs and seeing the kind of the light beams

Coming through that’s really really special when you’re in the Overworld right I’m gonna get some bow and arrows I’m gonna kill these guys all right let’s kill this guy take that you little bugger there we go check out his ragdoll absolutely Majestic I love that now I’m

Not sure how I can turn it on so that the enemies attack me maybe they just don’t in Creative maybe that’s what it is maybe I’m just an idiot and I forgotten how Minecraft works but I thought if you’re playing creative but you weren’t on Peaceful now I’m on

Normal right now um I thought they would still attack you but they are not attacking me and they are not interested in attacking me so clearly I am a fool and I’ve forgotten how Minecraft Works look at it it looks so good Oh I thought we want to go under there I

Don’t know what kind of Horrors lurk in the water now like it’s just an unknown to me uh okay they look okay what are they friendly little fish they’ll be okay all right look at this Sunrise coming through the water as well ah yes a snowy bit I was hoping I’d find

A snowy bit so there’s also physics for the snow the physics mod also gives snow physics so you can walk through it a bit like you do in Red Dead Redemption where you start to kind of like carve a path out through the snow look at that it’s it’s cool

It just turns Minecraft into a whole new game man I I absolutely love it look at it you start to break away and you can see the grass underneath oh my God this music is insane as well what is going on I love it I love it so much it’s just brilliant look at this beautiful game absolutely beautiful never thought I’d say that about Minecraft but here we are in 2023 Minecraft is one of the most beautiful games I’ve played in VR on my 4090 easily easily oh that looks so good

That looks amazing okay I’ve tried to add a bit more challenge to the end of this video I’ve loaded into survival mode because I want to see if I can survive a night um which I know isn’t much of a challenge but again I can’t really out remember how to play

Minecraft at all so for me it’s a pretty big challenge it was boring when the enemies weren’t attacking me okay let’s see if we can build like just a little Hut get a crafting table going get a pickaxe get an ax and just yeah get off to a good start

Now I really don’t know if there’s anyone in the world who hasn’t played Minecraft but if you are a VR user and you haven’t checked this game out I would urge you to come in and see it you don’t have to have all the best Shader packs running there are some pretty um

Lag free or performance friendly Shader packs you can add that still make the game look stunning if your PC isn’t like the biggest beast in the world um but I would urge you to play it if you haven’t played this game in VR especially with these mods it’s uh yeah it’s kind of

It it changes the experience completely um and I just massively massively recommend it I’m Blown Away by how good this looks one two three four yes I still remember how to build a crafting table go me Minecraft never really leaves you you never really forget how to make it we’ll get a sword

We will get an ax and we are kind of a pickaxe okay I need some more sticks and things for that is that enough there we go pickaxe right cool pickaxe sword ax okay let’s start chopping down trees and getting ready for night time because nighttime is

Scary all right let’s do this come on come on honestly I could look at the uh trees and the particles falling apart all day like that is just so cool to me Blown Away by how good this stuff is all the links for these mods um and Shader

Let’s clear this tree out okay let’s build a basic little house with a bed so I can sleep for the night and not get killed by hit zombies you can tell I haven’t played this game for ages as well because I played it the other night and

See that 44 Oak planks that should be enough to build a tiny house right that should be enough to build a little a quaint little cottage it’s only for me it’s only a one bed a one bed apartment shouldn’t be too difficult okay and then we’ll put a door we’ll put

A door there it doesn’t have to be in the middle doesn’t have to be in the middle you know OCD be damned OCD be damned that might be the ugliest Minecraft house anyone has ever built in the history of Minecraft that’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen I need a bed can I

Have a bed please oh God I don’t know how to make a bed yet um well that’s fine uh is it fine probably not fine put a door on it every house needs a door there we go look at that amazing I’m safe now the zombies can’t

Get me that is just depressing that is the most depressing space that’s awful oh I hate it I can’t even remember how to build a bed how do you build a bed in Minecraft why won’t the crafting table tell me right the house should probably keep me secure but I

Can’t sleep I can’t sleep until morning I have no bed what am I missing what’s that what’s that whoa oh that’s amazing look at that okay that was a watermelon wasn’t it and all this liquid has come out of the watermelon I think that’s what just happened

That’s so cool wow those liquid physics are uh genuinely incredible okay I need some coal because I need to make a like a little campfire or something um is that okay there’s trees should I just dig for dig for coal is that a turtle oh my God there’s Turtles in

Minecraft now this is just a whole new experience that I never expected to have oh I’ll call you Leonardo you Donatello and you Michelangelo I don’t know where Raphael is Raphael has gone off on his own once again he always does absolute nightmare when did they add turtles that is just a

Surprisingly exciting thing that I did not think I’d see okay right uh it’s getting kind of night time-ish uh still don’t have a bed dig dig dig dig find some coal come on we gotta get down right digging a pit I need to find some coal I need to make a fire

How far have I gotta go to find some I don’t know let’s just keep going just keep going down until we find it there’s some there’s some amazing didn’t have to go far brilliant brilliant brilliant brilliant give give give all right a little bit more fantastic okay that should be enough for

That uh let’s get out oh right okay okay quick quick oh the Sun is going down I need to make a fire I need wood which I have coal which I have sticks which I don’t have oh no no sticks and it’s night time it’s fine it’s fine come on

Come on get some sticks stick stick sticks sticks three sticks three sticks three sticks he immediately gets terrifying you know night time is just not it’s not a good time it’s not a good time for me okay campfire there we go oh now the campfires also have smoke

Physics you can see there that smoke is kind of blowing up into the sky now with this particular Shader it also causes some strange kind of lines to appear but that’s just a conflict with this Shader goes away with other shaders so with this one I really like these kind of

Lines appear but the smoke still looks awesome and you can change the color and the density of it in all sorts so okay um getting kind of hungry probably gonna have to eat apple that’ll do did I just punch my house I can’t I can’t even sleep I just want

Don’t make me Google how to make a bed in Minecraft that is such a boomer thing to do that’s such an old man thing to do like if I have to Google how to make a bed in Minecraft I’m quitting gaming that I’ve reached that point in my life

It’s just the saddest thing oh no oh no hello May what are you playing at why do I get hit by him every time like he has longer arms than me oh my God and I’m going in there and I’m going in there I’m gonna die nah stay outside I’m dying lads

I think it might actually be easier to fight the uh mobs by holding right trigger rather than trying to swing when I try and swing I could never hit him where are you waiting right there ah he’s on top of my bloody house there we go yeah it’s much easier to

Leave it and to show you a couple of different shaders just to kind of emphasize how different all the shaders are so I’m running with complementary shaders right now that’s the that’s the Shader Pack’s name but if you bring up the menu and you go to options and you

Go to video and then Shader packs I’ve got a bunch of them in store now all of them look kind of wildly different so let me just load up uh Zeus as in like Dr Seuss I think renewed version 1.01 and you’ll see immediately how visually

It changes so breathe that in and then check this out look at that now this is a very popular Shader pack this one is used by a lot of people a little bit more intensive you’ve got the kind of wavy trees as well so like blowing in

The wind and a little bit more of a muted tone to it not quite as vibrant but it still has that kind of classic Minecraft green the smoke in this one is kind of a black as well I do like this one I just prefer complementary

Um for me ow I like the vividness of that one it’s a lot brighter but there’s so many different shaders to pick between you don’t have to settle you can load up a ton and just switch between them on the Fly and kind of get a feel

For which one is your favorite you know there’s so much you can add to this to change how it looks and if you have the system for it you can put some really impressive shaders on here that turn this game into something uh just beautiful absolutely beautiful

It’s a beautiful game when you’ve got the right Shader packs um applied and it’s such an interactive and enjoyable game when you’ve got the physics mod applied which just like I’ll never get over how cool that is I will never get over how cool that is it just looks awesome

Seeing all these blocks have their own physics and they float in the water and they crumble away it’s mad you know enemies have got ragdolls the smoke has physics cloth has physics liquid has physics if you can get it working the ocean has its own physics and that’s one thing I haven’t

Been able to get working um in the list of physics settings and you can amend everything from here so it’s a really comprehensive mod and you do need to sign up to a patreon to get access to this but I would highly recommend it if you’re looking at

Playing some Minecraft because this is a beautifully crafted mod now that is what the ocean is supposed to look like with the mod installed there you go with the waves but for me I’ve obviously done something wrong with my setup for Minecraft and when I turn

It on the ocean disappears so it’s gone now there is now just empty void with a squid there floating suspended in nothingness so I will crack that I will figure out what I’m doing wrong I’m not sure what I’ve done to make it not work I know it doesn’t work with Minecraft

Forge but it does work or should work with Minecraft fabric that’s what I’m using um and it still isn’t working for me so I’ll keep trying but even without it just look at it Just look how amazing Minecraft is I know this isn’t necessarily anything new but for me in VR to see it looking this good in VR and running this while in VR that is a revelation um and it makes Minecraft very appealing to me as a option for an Escapist VR

Experience that I play either on my own or with a few friends because you can still use all these shaders and the physics mod pack with friends when you’re playing a multiplayer so come and check out Minecraft if it’s been a while since you’ve played or maybe you’ve

Never played in VR Tinker with the Shader packs have a look at the physics based mod and just come check this game out again it’s a renewed experience for me it’s been so long that’s about to break it’s been so long since I’ve played it and um yeah I’m like a kid in
