Edgecraft which uses optifine and mcpatcher to make the map look as realistic as possible this is easily one of the best looking recreations in minecraft so i’ll just let you guys sit back and enjoy the cinematic views for a minute At the number nine spot i decided to put a recreation of one of my favorite movies which is spirited away i realized a lot of you probably haven’t seen this movie so i definitely want to recommend checking it out for yourself it’s a little bit of a kids movie i think it’s

Disney and if you’re into anime type stuff then you’ll probably enjoy it nonetheless the minecraft recreation of spirited away is on point one of the major reasons why i love the movie is because of the artwork it’s just amazing just by looking at these side-to-side screenshots of the movie and the map you

Can tell how much attention to detail was put into this minecraft build there’s a ton more screenshots on their website where you can actually apply to become a builder if you want and help out with this amazing project here at number 8 we have a scale replica

Of the great pyramid of giza this minecraft recreation is massive with over 3.5 million blocks utilized the neat part about this map is that it also incorporates a vast maze system if you can navigate through the maze you can find the pharah’s chamber which has tons of riches and an end portal

Coming in at number seven is a minecraft recreation of the eiffel tower the eiffel tower is one of the tallest structures in the world so granted it’s also pretty massive within minecraft it’s over 210 blocks tall and the creator used over 100 000 blocks during the building process the nice part about

This map is that it also includes the surrounding area of the eiffel tower and not just the tower itself it definitely complements the overall quality of the build and secures its spot at number seven number six is actually a recreation from the lord of the rings trilogy the

Specific recreation is the elven town of rivendell which is located in middle earth now there isn’t a download link for this map so i’m not going to be able to give you guys some awesome cinematic views but the creator does provide a good amount of screenshots from the map

And let me just say it really does look amazing the map itself took around three weeks to build and i believe there are only two builders working on this project so definitely make sure to go give some love to this awesome creation at number 5 we have the statue of atlas

For those of you who don’t know atlas is actually a titan from greek mythology who was condemned by zeus to hold up the heavens for the olympians now there’s a lot of statues out there of atlas but this creation is the absolute best in my opinion the build is just massive and

The structure that atlas is holding is just crazy i mean there’s so many different buildings on it and it just looks awesome i can’t even imagine how much time and effort went into this insane minecraft recreation so make sure to go show them some love coming in at number four is a recreation

Of manhattan new york city in minecraft the creator started with just the chrysler building but then began building more and more and more until the project now has over 17 subway stations one train station 26 theaters two parks a library and a ton of skyscrapers some significant structures

In the build are the grand central station times square the empire state building the rockefeller center and even madison square park this is easily one of the most extensive minecraft recreations i’ve ever seen so be sure to give the creator some love alright so we’re coming up to the top

Athens is an ancient citadel that stands above the city of athens the minecraft recreation took over three months to build and contained a one to one scale of the acropolis some of the famous buildings on the hill are the parthenon the old temple of athena and the arreach

Put project 1845. this minecraft project is a one-to-one scale replica of ancient china in beijing which also includes some of the surrounding area this project has been in the works for about four years now and surprisingly enough it’s only 8.6 percent complete in that amount of time though they’ve placed

Over 800 million blocks and the project is supposed to be complete within the next four to nine years project 1845 is the largest urban minecraft project ever and will cover an area of 256 square kilometers there’s really not much else to say about how amazing this
