BenC1ark – I Spent 1,000 Hours Farming In Minecraft.. Here’s Why..

This is the space man NPC, a new character brought to Hypixel Sky block by the Garden update. If you’re ever lucky enough to meet him, he will offer you his helmet, a color changing piece of glass called the Space Helmet. This is how my friends and I spent 1000 hours to get it

And got trolled by hypixel admins in the process in the garden every 15 minutes you’ll be greeted by a visitor, one of just 78 characters detailed in the visitor logbook. When someone is scheduled to visit your garden, there’s a bit of luck involved before it visits a rarities is rolled. then an NPC

From that rarity class is chosen at random for the uncommon rarity. You should have that 73.5% of the time. Rare 22.05% of the time. Legendary 4.41%. And finally, special of which there is only one possible character the Space man who has a 0.00441% chance, or one in 2,267.66 chance of visiting.

But I’ve missed a few details there. In order for the space man to even consider visiting your garden, you need to have pretty much completed the update, meaning achieving Garden Level 15, a challenge that took my coop and I, 12 full days to complete. To level up your garden you need garden experience.

This is mainly obtained through farming different crops and hitting milestones inside crops. But at a certain point for each milestone, you’ll need to farm 50 million of that one crop in exchange for a very small amount of XP. That’s where visitors come in quite handy. Each uncommon visitor gives

Two XP, each rare gives four and each legendary gives ten. These don’t seem very high, but once you take into account the fact that visitors have milestones too, it gets a little crazy. Once you’ve served a thousand visitors, the milestones cap and increases of 500 visitors, meaning you get exponentially more XP whilst

Doing the same amount of visitors. We figured this out after hitting high levels of crop milestones pretty early on and we really focused on visitors. But the information I just told you is now 7.5 times more important, so I hope you paying attention. You know how I said the visitors gave 2, 4

Pretty unique rewards. For example, when the NPC Dusk visits you along with the usual stuff, he’ll offer you a random rune now, thanks to MenacingBanana on the Alpha server. His spaceman asked for 2.2 billion mushrooms, so his exact request was 434,783 Enchanted red mushroom blocks. We were all flabbergasted. If there were even enough red mushrooms on the bizarre, which there weren’t, that would cost over 15 billion coins. The community scrambled talking to Wiki editors and trying to work out

Why this was the information provided on the wiki suggested the maximum number of enchanted mushroom blocks it could possibly ask for was 35,254. But the wiki editors work with what they have and sometimes information is just wrong. And that’s when an absolute game called lox connected the dots and realized that space

Wasn’t asking for random numbers at all. He was asking for exactly 1 billion coins worth of crops. If they were to sell to NPC, he realized that enchanted mushroom blocks have the wrong NPC price. You can sell enchanted mushrooms for 640 coins per to NPC, but the blocks that take
