Just didn’t really feel like putting in the last two episodes so i didn’t welcome back to the minecraft guide episode 124 in the last episode we made a lot of really really good progress we have mobs now look at this sheep and cows not to brag or anything but the

Sugarcane farm it’s growing it’s looking really good and this was the to-do list we don’t need that anymore look at the wheat the wheat operation is doing so good in george the copper block george is old now check out this barn in the last episode we started the sweet berry barn it’s

It’s in a pretty good spot today we’re gonna finish this bad boy up for sure but even more importantly there’s something we kind of didn’t get to last episode and that’s iron oh yeah by the way remember those raiders last episode we got a crossbow i didn’t even realize it but we own

A crossbow now that’s pretty sweet but yeah one thing that we didn’t actually end up getting to last episode was iron which is exactly where we’re gonna start today to finish the bar up we’re gonna need more cobblestone and even if we don’t need more cobblestone we definitely should have more cobblestone

And of course to put ourselves in a better spot we need more iron seven iron is definitely not enough we could make an iron pickaxe right now but that’s like basically it like we need to have more iron hopefully if we get lucky today like enough iron

For a set of iron armor i feel like that’s a pretty simple goal speaking of simple goals i have a pretty easy one can we pass over seven likes today let’s see if we can do it i’m not too sure all right so we’re back down in the mines and i completely forgot

All of my coal but actually coal you’re my savior i knew there was a reason i didn’t get all of you before coal coal perfect cool so how are you guys like at 1.17 how is it going have you been playing 1.17 or have you not really been playing 1.17

Obviously i’ve been playing 1.17 and it feels good like i can’t lie i was starting to get a little bit of like burnt out of vanilla minecraft near the end of the 1.16 update and it feels good like it feels like a whole new game maybe back in 1.17

And i like it i i’m just having like a lot of fun with it i mean we haven’t even found a lot of the 1.17 things like copper and amethyst and stuff but like the small things like the texture updates it just makes the game feel like completely new again

It feels really good and like the raw ore stuff like is so cool we definitely need to set up an auto smelter at some point too i keep forgetting to say but yeah we actually never set one up at the jungle base so i don’t really have a goal today

In terms of how much i want to mine i just want to mine for a little while and check out the cave system maybe see if we can find something good oh okay okay okay okay we’re done mining wait you know what i just realized raw iron looks so much like raw chicken

Like it literally looks like raw chicken right definitely but yeah if you’ve been playing 1.17 i hope you’ve been having a lot of fun with it i’ve been loving it so much and skeleton i need you to just go away now if you drop some of the armor

I will love you so much uh oh skeleton my boy take it too soon okay so we have an arrow now too which is pretty cool definitely want to get a bow at some point but glow-like in oh yeah glow-like and that’s the first piece of glow-like in

It’s special and and we actually have a have a bone so we could grow that back at the base that’s pretty cool yeah that skeleton did so much damage though more iron more iron for sure having fortune right now would be so nice i i’m gonna try and get like

Um i was gonna say i’m gonna try and get like enough iron to like enchant or something first but maybe maybe it’s not even worth it like maybe we just keep picking up the iron we’ll find more later why does it sound like there’s zombies like all around me like

They’re literally everywhere in this cave like it’s crawling with them come on come on guys yeah i need armor i need armor like really bad and not like just gold armor like actual good armor okay so anyways back to getting this iron right here this is definitely good

We have seven at home we have 12 with us right now 24 pieces of iron for a full set of armor which is nice uh like 32 to be in a really good spot so maybe we’ll try and shoot for like if we could leave the mines with like 32

Iron that would be amazing more iron thank you and a horde of zombies somewhere around this wall somewhere it sounds like it is there like a spotter over here no actually like seriously is there a spawner over here actually like no joke there’s three zombies there has to be a spotter over here

Right okay skeleton okay okay okay enough with that there are skeletons literally everywhere and how do they do so much damage like what is that no no come on come on okay fine back to the base i don’t even get it like why like i mean i guess is because i

Don’t have any armor but like what okay so 13 iron 13 iron is a pretty good start definitely a start we’re gonna eat a little bit more than 13 but it’s a start we’ll start smelting it actually only a little bit of it i keep forgetting to replant my tree farm i

Need like some kind of reminder or something seven it’s the perfect number eight it’s the perfect number for a chest plate that will protect us a lot one iron chest plate that’s pretty good the sweet berry bush broke my pants okay so i don’t really plan on being down

Here very much longer i hear a witch now i figured i would just come back down here and get some of the resources that i can see at least uh there is some more iron over here which we could definitely take and then there’s some more over here too

There’s also a skeleton somewhere over here which is really concerning ah there it is there it is there it is this is right there why are sweet berries so terrible did i always like were they always this bad or am i like forgetting something like they’re

So bad the regen on these things it’s seriously so painful like it’s just rough okay so i hear another skeleton i’ll recover the iron really quick check this out and it goes nowhere okay dead end but this cave definitely has to go somewhere else like there are so many

Mobs over here like look at this so many zombies and skeletons too yeah we’re done with that it’s chasing me it’s chasing me no so anyways the skeleton decided to chase me like out of the cave so i guess that’s that we’ll just get rid of the skeleton really quick there we go

That should be it for skeletons for now i hope i could be making a gigantic mistake with this one but i’m just gonna go ahead and ignore all those zombies for now and just get the just get the copper okay it worked i got the copper i have 19 copper eight more

Iron perfect now i need cobblestone which is kind of perfect because there’s a bunch of the stuff right here if i lucky maybe i’ll end up hitting like more copper that would be pretty sweet or maybe even more iron if i’m like really lucky oh or cold or cold coal is awesome too

It’s sweet awesome i’ll take anything that i can get at this point so while you enjoy this cobblestone coal mining time lapse i’d like to talk about the build a little bit i’ve decided cobblestone on the roof no way not on this build 100 absolutely we we need oak wood on the roof

And then maybe on that tower a bit copper like imagine copper staircases on that top tower part that could look pretty sweet what i might end up doing is uh putting something temporary where the tower like roof needs to be like maybe cobblestone for today but then later once i have more copper

And it doesn’t even need to be much more copper just needs to be a little bit more copper once i have enough for like a full roof on that thing i think we’re gonna switch it over remove whatever i put in today put copper there it would be so cool

Well well well look at who it is iron ore this is perfect exactly what i asked for everything is working out so well in 1.17 i love it that’s gonna bring our iron total up to 14 which is actually perfect just about perfect in total we have now almost obtained

Half a stack of iron which is awesome okay so moving on now we need to finish up that barn situation that we started in the last episode now to finish that stuff off we’re gonna need a little bit of bulk wood to get oak wood i’m gonna have to chop down some oak

Trees and conveniently when i chop down these oak trees i’m gonna get saplings eventually i definitely would like to come back in and replant these trees but today i’m so sorry but i’m not going to replant the trees today this place feels so empty now i was looking around

For like sheep to shear while i was waiting and i guess i took them out to the pen we need to repopulate the wild eventually how many are inside of the hole today hmm two of you still perfect perfect everything’s going as planned uh birch saplings

And oak saplings this is exactly what we needed and look we have so many i can actually replant the trees look at that perfect george george while i was away while i was away you have aged you are so old now george you’ve completed your full

Life’s process i want to pick it up but i i don’t think i’m going to oh my gosh that was so quick no like seriously like that was way faster than i thought it was meant to be like that went really really quick okay so let’s melt up that and then over

Here i actually already smelted up some of this we’ll smell more of it up uh maybe we’ll just smell like as much as we can and then the extra copper will just put away for now uh now that we have one block that’s good but we’re gonna need honeycomb soon so

We can actually like get the other ones okay so this roof is gonna be expensive there’s no getting around it unless actually maybe it won’t be that bad it’s all slaps so i feel like the ultimate early game combo is definitely like oak slabs and cobblestone we’re living in a taiga so

We’re not really gonna exactly get that full experience but i think we could still use it on the roof so what i wanted to do here is put like some cobblestone bands in here not with like solid blocks so definitely with like slabs they’re just like just like okay wrong thing we’ll put

Cobblestone slabs in here and like solid blocks popping up past the roof like just a little bit every once in a while it won’t be very common but like a half a slab like popping up right there and then we’ll do like oak wood like fill this in go down this way and

Then we’ll have a another one maybe like maybe we line them up with every single like section where we have those things right there i tried to zoom but it doesn’t work so this is where the tower is going to go on the other side of the tower all that

We’re gonna do is continue this roof up it’s just gonna go all the way up like the slab angle right there meet in the middle and then go right back down on the other side everything’s gonna be symmetrical in here uh what i decided last episode these things are just gonna continue

Right along the side it’s gonna help make this build look really structured i’m still loving this fence skate thing for sure the back wall though uh i’m not exactly in love with the back wall i’m thinking that maybe we come in here with like cobblestone and go up

And then the barrels um the barrels i really like them right i i just think there needs to be more to them because it’s really flat right now to fix it i was thinking maybe we could come in here with like um honestly maybe like like oak

Staircases in there that might look good and then we could eventually hang like a lantern off at the bottom of them once i have lanterns that might look really cool the front is probably gonna stay open i’m just gonna be able to walk right into the build and

Get the sweet berries whenever i need them the nice thing about having all of these barrels on the build too is uh sweet berries they drop like a lot and eventually i probably won’t need too many so i can actually just start storing sweet berries inside of the barrels

And then to make this build even more cool looking we could probably put like these cross sections in here too like linking everything together i want the build to look like really strong and built up and then in here this is where that tower bit is i’m not

Too sure what i’m gonna do to be honest i i might just kind of leave it exposed for now like that i i don’t know at the same time definitely thinking like a ceiling in here though like in this bit this doesn’t continue all the way up we do like an oak ceiling

Now eventually i want to get cave vines glow berries and hang them in here so i can climb like all the way up and down that could be pretty sweet but we don’t have those yet so it’s just gonna stay like that oh you know what we could do

You know what we could do so we’re gonna have these sections like going across like this to make it look even more cool we could have this going here and i mean it’s gonna get like hectic like really busy but it’s a barn i mean it’s not meant to

Be like really big and then on the top we could do like the same thing or something or maybe if we wanted to we could even come in with like campfires i mean that would be really expensive but it would be sweet back wall it’s gonna be easy yeah cobblestone for sure

I need to do something else with that back wall it’s just too like weird looking another thing that i need to talk about another thing that i need to do before i move too far into the build is make room for a few more trees so

I love those ones they look so good um Hmm so i still want to keep that line of trees in the front i feel like that’s good it hides the tree farm at least where the tree farm is for now uh but some of the trees in here like past that first row might have to go away

I love the shape of these first trees but this one might just be in the way cobblestone walls back of the build maybe we go like up and then around and then by the way eventually i i didn’t say it yet but eventually maybe i’ll replace some of

This stuff with like deep slate deepside could be pretty cool but maybe something like that or maybe we even just like fill it in all the way yeah you know what we’ll just fill it in all the way it’ll probably look better we have enough windows on the build

Oh and you know what we could do to make this like thicker so it looks like it’s like all like connected and like supporting in there oh it’s all coming together it’s all coming together exactly as planned tent city will be unstoppable soon it is getting a little dark on the

Inside though because we’re filling in the roof so maybe we have some like torches in here i don’t like it okay yes i know it’s torches but it’s gonna have to do iron 16 iron that combines with the other one to get to 23 and then the eight from this thing

Add that in and we get a grand total of 31 iron and 55 copper already that’s crazy i’m basically out of wood though so time for me to wait for these oak trees to grow up and in the meantime chop down this first string my sugar cane they’re fully ready to

Harvest i think we just like doubled the amount of sugarcane that i have like like literally it goes all the way to there now we definitely doubled that that’s nice we’re gonna need a better sugarcane farm soon too finally one tree grew i’m making pretty good progress on this building right here

All that i think i’m gonna need after this one is one more tree to grow once one tree grows it’ll grow and i’ll be able to finish up the build i’m also thinking about adding even more detail in here it’s gonna get pretty crazy from the inside

Uh but add more detail in here by putting like spruce logs um or beams or whatever you want to call this going like straight up and down in here too i just can’t reach there we go perfect it’s gonna be cool now down inside of this thing it feels cramped

Uh really really cramped i think there’s a better way that we could do this so the sweet berries are nice and all and i i like them planted like that but i also don’t i think there’s definitely a better way we can do this so let’s think about this imagine this

We have sweet berries planted all the way around the side uh wrapping down this way we’ll probably be able to put more plants into actually maybe we skip that spot right there so we can get like to the back corner um we do that then we could do

We could do two rows going down the middle so we have the full side lined and then the middle two yeah yeah i think that’s the way that we want to do this actually didn’t think about it though sweet berries get planted on the course dirt

Always on the forester oh this is such a better use of the space look at this oh we’re gonna have so many more berries in here than before all right so i figured it out the new planting pattern is gonna go like this we’re gonna go straight down that wall

Three in the middle on the back right there then we’re gonna go right down like this and by the way the three on the back in the middle if i ever need like more storage or whatever for whatever reason i i could just take those ones out but

Anyways uh we’re gonna go around the sides like that on the front or excuse me in the middle we’re gonna go seven long seven long like that it’s so many sweet berry plants this is way more than i would ever need and it keeps the top way more open

Now to keep myself from like walking on top of those wheat berries easy it’s so simple it’s just gonna be like really expensive but it’s fine i can keep cutting down like giant spruce trees all day long we’re gonna make a bunch of trapdoors through strap doors and that’s growing really fast that’s

Like crazy uh what we’re gonna do here to keep that from happening because that’s gonna be really dangerous is just like a bunch of trapdoors on top of those sweet berry bushes like that it’ll be perfect then when i harvest it it’ll throw up uh into the sky

And i should be able to get it from like standing here if i can’t get it from this side for whatever reason uh then i guess i could go to the outside glorious the true definition of glorious that’s what it is and i missed a block all right so i’ve

Been busy building for like 20 30 more minutes and the build has come a long way since you saw it last time so the roof i i tried hard on the roof but at the same time i didn’t really try that hard on the roof because we’re gonna change it i

Definitely still want to make this like a copper roof oh no yeah you see what i mean i made a big mistake that needs to move back one block but yeah i’m gonna change the roof eventually i really like the idea of it all being copper i think that would look really cool

So it’s there and it’s spruce wood and it’s good i i’ll fix it but yeah that’s what i did right there the tower is completely inaccessible right now like i said cave vines eventually vines going all the way down the sink that would be pretty sweet so we’re gonna do that eventually

But the inside i finished everything so i moved the trapdoor so the metal like links all the way down the build i thought that looks pretty sweet we can move in here and we can harvest all the sweet berries and i can run along here and pick everything up

I’m pretty sure i pick everything up um okay maybe not but i can do this i can open the gate up go outside and then i can pick everything else up that i can’t reach for whatever reason i think it’s because of the walls i have

The sweet berry rolls in the middle that are just gonna be pure perfection like this is really easy to pick up i can harvest all these and get them from both sides and then yeah on the other side in the middle too overall i’m really happy with how the

Build turned out i mean it’s a lot of wood for sure it could definitely burn down so we’re gonna need a lightning rod but the sweet berry barn i think it’s good and with that i think the food situation is going to be at least decent for a little while with my calculations
