Hi everyone welcome back so it’s the start of a new year 2022 and what is the first thing you need to do well you need to get some new shaders for minecraft education of course yes that’s right instead of getting fit or giving up alcohol every sensible person knows you need to Be playing your new 1.17 version of minecraft education with some slick looking new shaders in the new year but what’s that i hear you ask can you even get shaders for the new version of minecraft education well the answer is kind of bedrock and pocket edition have moved over to Render dragon which is a new rendering engine that means all of our old beloved shaders we used to use in 1.14 no longer work as you can imagine this has caused outrage in the minecraft community as third-party creators are continuing to support their old shaders on mobile platforms which Haven’t yet made the move over to render dragon to complicate matters even further many of the shaders that have been updated to work with render dragon are not compatible with minecraft education edition it makes looking for good shaders an absolute nightmare luckily for you guys I have been spending my new year trolling the internet doing tons of research and looking for the five best shaders from minecraft education edition actually because of everything i was just explaining before i couldn’t get five shaders that i was really happy with and although I wanted this to be a top five video i just didn’t want to lower my standards on this occasion so get ready to see the four best shaders for minecraft education edition 2022 1.17 approved just before we get into it a little bit of info i am running all of these shaders today In the 1.17 version of minecraft education edition on a windows machine links to the downloads and credits the original creators will be in the video description below and i’ll also add in timestamps to help you find the parts of the video you are looking for i’ll be showing footage of each shader In a range of conditions and comparing them one at a time to the vanilla game with no shaders at the end of the video i’ll show you how to download and install every shader so please do hit that Like and subscribe button but without any further ado let’s dive in and take a look at these shaders so all right guys one thing to note about all of these shaders i did choose them because I felt They were quite easy to download and install i used google chrome to install these and i scanned them all with an antivirus they were fine now in the following video i will outline uh the exact Way that I downloaded these so do try and follow it as closely as you can the links to all of these different shaders are in the description down below fishy’s wonderful shader is the first One I’m going to look at follow the link in the description here it is to mcpedl scroll down and you want this um 3.9.1 mcpac file skip ahead and download nice and easy that one very easy to do Next is esbe2g shader again here it is links in the description down below uh for this one just scroll down and keep going down there past all this stuff and you’re looking specifically for this one download 2g version 5.2 skip past this little link here and it just downloads straight Away in the bottom super easy one that one now the next one bicubic shader version 2.5 ultra it’s a different website links in the description uh this one’s a bit different you’ve got a scroll Right the way down there’s lots of versions and i tested i tested a lot of them out uh but the one that worked for me uh was the bicubic shader version 2.5 ultra so you need to go to That specific one again just click it and it will pop up in your downloads there next is the rwspe shader version 5.0 official this is another one on mcpedl scroll down and we’re gonna look specifically for the mcpac file there and um we’ll this time we’ll get a little progress Bar when that gets to 100 i’ll just skip past there we go 100 and we’ll go get downloads and there we go we click the mcpac file and it pops up in our downloads now any of these files if they don’t automatically open in education edition right click them open in education edition And then go ahead start your new world and then down here you’ve got your resource packs and then just go to well you can see inactive here we’ve got nothing in there so we go to my packs Choose the one you want i’ve got loads on here because i’ve been testing them out and so many of them don’t work but uh the ones from today all work so go to the bicubic one for example and go To activate and then if you scroll up you can see in your active packs there there it is and you can deactivate that if you want to try out a different one at any point super easy now some of these shaders actually have little settings in there so if you’re struggling Uh with the resources on your system to run this you can adjust the settings on the ws uh sorry the rws pe shader you can smooth that up and down and adjust the settings but that’s it really easy okay guys one thing to note with these shaders is that they are quite Taxing on your system if you’re getting dropped frames or anything like that it could possibly be down to the performance of your system you can try reducing the render distance and messing around with the graphical settings slightly but certainly having a better pc helps I’m running this on a fairly high end pc and the link to the components that are in the description down below the other thing to note is that uh the old video that i made on um shaders is now out of Date but the other video i made on handheld devices like the iPad should still work those devices are not using render dragon yet so the old way of getting shades onto those systems should work fine i will update those videos eventually the one video that i will be updating shortly Is the uh texture pack video uh that probably is out of date and we’re gonna go through and check out which ones work for 1.17 and which ones don’t and get that all updated for you so do make sure That you like and subscribe to see when that comes out but i will see all of you next week you
