Better Minecraft EP18 Amazing Frostmaw Boss

Hey guys and welcome back this is chosen architect and today we’re playing some more better minecraft so so we are back and take a look at this so this may be 116 but there are axolotls and funny thing is i don’t think i oh i don’t think i have a book

This just shows up out of nowhere it’s either it’s either me okay well it’s it’s dead now do i have a bucket i do a bucket which one do i want there’s so many there’s so many to choose from that skeleton is just oh i think i really want like just the

Vanilla experience right so the best one would be the pink one just the plain pink one come here and we now have an axolotl in a bucket ah i feel so much better now uh but the real goal uh of today the whole reason i am back in the caves

Is we are we are really really low believe it or not really low on lapis and well i have to go mining for some of it so let’s go ahead and pull snooter boop out of here that’s exactly what i’m going with what a cute name for such a

Cute mob and uh yes this is worthy 100 of keeping in our inventory it’s just got to stay here like that’s its sole purpose is to be snooter boop and just be in our inventory that’s i’m sorry but it’s it’s going to happen like it is the cutest

That’s that’s what an axolotl is for it’s literally an inventory pet that that’s the whole reason it exists honestly so yet again i am back at the enderman farm farming this bad boy up getting all the experience that we’re going to need um i basically want to enchant this bad boy

Um i do have a sharpness 5 book already so that’s great that’s going to go on this thing hopefully um we’ll see what this thing can enchant like can it even be enchanted hopefully it can yeah it totally can i’m going to kind of get some decent enchants hopefully we can roll like

Unbreaking on it and then of course i need to throw mending on this bad boy and uh hopefully this thing will be better than this i mean this is already at nine but it has the sharpness four on it i don’t know i i wish there was a way to uh

To see if we could potentially like take the sharpness five book and get like sharpness six on it like maybe those little minions oh no they won’t do it because they required specifically diamond right ah that’d be really cool though so this seems to be perfect we can go ahead and

Throw this in here it only has sharpness on there but throw the sharpness book on here we have an unbreaking and sharpness five i think that’s pretty nice like i don’t need looting or anything like that this is gonna be perfect so i’m gonna gather a few more levels

And then we are going to head back out so here i am in the in dimension back again of course uh this time i’m not farming experience but um i have located a very particular biome and i was just making sure that this actually worked um

The sulfur here this is a material that we can get in this biome and uh this is the sulfur springs i do believe is what this is called um so i flew around a bit to find this thing it is absolutely beautiful and uh very functional as well and even beyond that

It’s kind of deep like in realism so if we take a look down here we have these sulf we have these vents this goes all the way down here and there are these like vents down here that are covered in like actual sea life it’s honestly this is just like the

Level of detail that is unseen is kind of crazy here uh just the i mean the sheer level um now to get this sulfur you’ll find these crystals on the the edges here and uh this is a pretty decent way to farm these you can see we have all these crystals

And they’re gonna be all in these vents and the more of these more of the crystals we can find the better we’re gonna be because this will allow us to actually make gunpowder it maybe not it may not be the best way to make gunpowder but i wanted to try a different approach

You know i wanted to try a more modded approach and also while we’re here we can get some gummies these are like little jellyfish and they drop this like gel they also attack you by the way they do hurt also these other fish as well they drop uh

In fish which is a nice little snack it’s nice little food and also this is a food as well um i guess this is just a reg i don’t know any potion maybe just a bottle of water and that put together gives you some uh some jelly which says it’s a hearty meal

So that’s kind of cool but other than that these vents i mean i i really need a better way like water breathing potions i think would be a good way to farm this but i’m going to place me a stone here because this place definitely seems like a a good source

Anyway for sulphur and this sulfur like i said it’s going to be needed to make gun powder so coal which we can have we have an abundance of we have abundance of bones sulfur however i need to farm this up and that is going to allow us to

Progress a bit further and find a few more of those bosses um because we just need tnt right that’s that’s one of the main things that i’m needing so definitely the best way to go about this vein mine yeah it’s it’s definitely doing us a favor here because all you do is

Just walk through here and these areas are all usually clumped together look at that a whole bunch we already have a way over a stack oh we got two stacks plus now that’s easy easy gunpowder so now all we have to do is craft this bad boy into

Into gunpowder i mean it’s it’s literally that simple and then we’re gonna need enough gunpowder to be able to make uh at least a couple more stacks i know this isn’t going to make i don’t i don’t think two stacks this might make a stack i think

Um i think you need five gunpowder right to make uh one tnt so yeah that’s that’s gonna be a thing so we are back here ready to loot this bad boy okay so um at the moment i do have one of these we got this last episode

I have pretty much enough of the uh corintium available to be able to make the new armor set however i need four more void crystals in order to do such now there’s some other tools that we might actually end up upgrading to this sword right here is actually better honestly than this sword

Um however i i i really hate that i put the the sharpness 5 on here because of that particular reason that sword seems like it’s going to be better than this one this one’s actually i believe slower no it’s actually faster never mind this one this one i forgot when the

Number goes higher it actually means faster so it’s setting at 1.7 speed so honestly this thing is probably better than that sort but anyways as far as armor goes it’s it’s good armor so that’s what i want to upgrade from this to that and i think we’ll be in a pretty good

Place or at least have armor that’s transferable now luckily for us this setup should still work um so we should be able to basically place this in here and have no problem like reap just replacing it like that should work i know this is a really weird place in the hopper right here

But if i get here and we place this back down i can reactivate this now this dropped when we activated it last time so that’s what’s going to happen this is going to reactivate and all i got to do is drop down here and just continue our process of placing tnt in it

And i think that’s it and as you can see we ended up getting it back so i’m going to be doing this for just a little while and our first one is down so just like that i now have another void crystal and uh same process i’m gonna use the hopper just so

I don’t move this thing around and we’re using netherstars but netherstars are pretty easy to obtain like just getting the skulls is probably the hardest part i mean this is a probably one of the easiest bosses in my opinion so the last one is done we can pop up here and get

Our final loot awesome so now we have four void crystals which means we can actually make this pretty nice uh armor set and it also makes us immune to the levitation effect which is a kind of a benefit when we’re in this dimension now the teleporter is

Kind of a cool thing as well um i mean it’s basically a weighted teleport uh but we already have way stones so it kind of almost defeats the purpose of this but man this armor looks sick so let’s get back to the base and make this stuff so i decided instead

Of going back home what better place to do this since also i didn’t have enough experience to travel back home um what better place to craft this than the in dimension it only makes sense so we can go ahead and make the helmet i believe it is like

This i think all the pieces sort of fit together like this there’s our pants this i’m assuming is gonna be the chest piece uh no chess piece is something totally different uh let’s see that’s the helmet actually do we have the stuff to make the chess piece

Let’s take a look chest is oh chest has moved up okay and then last but not least make sure we don’t mess up and make the wrong thing let’s make the boots and we now have a full set now i’m in this dimension let’s put this on wow this actually

It’s not bad looking this is a good looking armor well now it’s time to enchant it though so to go ahead and finish off our armor here i i just need to grab ourselves a few mending books and uh we should be pretty pretty well off after that i’m gonna grab

This four mini books that should be perfect what else do you guys have oh wait that’s right you were the vain um efficiency five and you still don’t have a anything set up for you you know eventually something something is going to work with you i would love to get

Like unbreaking on you that would be great hmm we’ll work on that in the future i’m sure so i took a look inside of our quest book and i noted some things where we’re added um so we now have i think it’s called the mouse’s mod or

Our mouse’s mouth now i don’t even know how mousey’s yeah mousey’s mud uh but this thing right here this ice crystal i have i’m very familiar with this mod here for the most part and uh this boss and this boss are they’re okay this one’s pretty easy to fight this one however

Uh man what a savage uh quite a bit different and i would actually like to take on at least the ice boss if we can get to that today um and i know that you can find them in in cold biomes so i’m thinking right over here somewhere where we haven’t probably

Generated anything we’re probably going to find one um that with a long you know along with some other stuff that we maybe haven’t explored yet and so that’s the whole point of this pack is to explore so i’m gonna sleep and we’re gonna get our explorer on what a cool looking

Witch’s hut by the way i’m sure there’s a witch in here but look at this there’s a cage for which something would have been in aha there is a witch are you gonna be well i thought you were gonna be friendly but you even poisoned your own cat what a witch

Yeah anyways um apparently there’s stuff in here i don’t i don’t know exactly what that is that’s in there but there is some stuffs in there and is there anything in here i mean if you were to find this early on don’t get me wrong this is actually kind of a nice find

Simply because i mean you have blaze powder right off the bat that means you can start brewing potions and brew yourself a potion of fire resistance right away what i wish i would have found this earlier that would have been so much better than i mean and look at that there’s another nether

Material oh my goodness remember these guys remember this area well i don’t take levitation anymore because of my armor so fighting these guys are well a little bit easier and i have no idea what they drop but i’m i’m sure enough shots on the phantom

Oh yeah we’ll drop this guy and then we can 1v1 come on what you got you ain’t got nothing i mean i take a little bit of like levitation but not a not a horrible amount it’s kind of weird how it does that it like knocks you back i mean what didn’t drop

Anything what in the world no i’m good that means this is even less i thought they would drop something cool oh man so i just found this tower and i got an advancement that said jump uh that looks kind of scary down there you know what yolo what um

Oh oh no no okay um well why did we do that that was dumb okay so we just got just oh bedrock that’s nice okay so just it just gives you a a bad effect and then it’s like you’re not getting out of here right i have no idea

What i’m expecting here this is bedrock the whole thing is surrounded with bedrock what what an what an awful trick how dare they somebody’s laughing at this though somebody’s like i made this and you fell for it what a dork look what i found a regular vanilla igloo i

Wonder if there’s anything special in this if this has been modified in any way i mean if anything we can get an advancement or down here so we should have a splash potion of weakness and wow there is another ice dragon egg in here oh my goodness that’s crazy

But we have this guy right here which looks to be i don’t know exactly what you are but i’m gonna splash you hit you with that and we’re gonna wait a little bit it takes about two minutes and then i get an advancement from it so i’ve actually never really paid

Attention to this because i’ve never been able to see it but is this achievement based on the length of the strength effect so it takes exactly five minutes wow that is this is interesting um it’s so cool to be able to see that number like in it ha and it’s given nausea

Right afterwards which is another weird thing that i’ve never been able to see but because we have the one probe i’m actually able to see that that was that’s something i learned i’ll just learn something today so this is a new sort of village thing that i’ve not seen this is like an

Actual village but like there’s a lot of iron and stuff in here but i just opened this chest and there is a map that was in it this thing right here it’s called the villager campsite explorer map and i notice there is a a little indicator that’s in red and then we’re

The little dot up in the top i i think i want to go explore this map and see exactly where it leaves us because who knows there could be some really epic loot there that i’m just missing out on it could be buried i don’t really know honestly so i’ve hit

The halfway mark and i have to say this map is definitely taking me quite the distance i have honestly no idea what what i’m gonna find here but i hope it’s hope it’s worth my time all right well we’re starting to uncover some of the map

We are starting to uncover a map here all right and what’s this what’s this leading us to hope it’s something good we’re so close what should be just like a random village it’s right here somewhere right here wait what there there is something here is this an encampment hold up a minute

What are this people are strange well this is definitely not not what i was expecting uh okay so we have oh there is loot oh my gosh we’re being bombarded with stuff okay let’s get out of there for a second i don’t have my axe on me

I do have my bow which is kind of nice i just get back to these guys but these guys seem to have like a lot of health i don’t know if they’re normal or not wow okay that was an advancement but i mean what is here

I mean is there it’s just a lot of these guys is this just like oh wait there’s there’s stuff okay wow look at all them that just piled out of there okay i have my axe in here some actually you know what we could just use

This bad boy this should one shot them oh wait it’s not one shotting them it’s too shoddy okay that’s that’s good though okay is there good stuff in here though i don’t even know slime is it really worth me being here and getting shot like this i better look like a porcupine

Too much going on i’ve got to get out of this place no no no and no so i did find that there is a chest in the middle of a fire pit now i’m always weary of stuff like that being trapped so i want to take my time and i’m slowly

Killing these guys to be able to get to it oh let’s let’s head back also there was like a what is what there was this that tasmanian devil oh my gosh that is a taz that is a tasmanian cutie you don’t look like no devil what you look like a short-legged dog

Yeah you’re not hurting anybody but this this thing right here okay so i i don’t know what to expect from this so i’m gonna put the fire out here check under here i mean the chest you would think that it would say trap but there’s another map this is map zero

We’ve been here before wait what is this it’s just a map it’s literally just a map that has been completed already which is kind of strange in itself huh i’m not even seeing that biome unless it’s from like over here uh is this supposed to be a clue

I have no i have honestly no idea that’s interesting though that there is a map in there what mystery hmm there’s really nothing else here it’s kind of unfortunate oh look what i found ah yes oh as you can see by the boss bar and the sleeping giant oh did i just

Wake him i don’t think i’ve woke him yet oh look at this frosty boy oh boy i’m kind of nervous because i don’t remember how powerful this guy was nor does it take bow damage and i remember there being definitely ice attacks am i ready for this

We’re about to find out all right buddy i’m gonna wake you up i’m gonna wake this sleeping beautiful giant oh boy oh boy yeah yeah i remember this oh no no no no okay okay okay okay oh oh okay arrows not effective this is bad oh no no no no i can’t move

I gotta get him when he does that oh this effect hurts okay after that let’s get a couple swipes in swipes okay i just got to stay back from when he does that move because that move oh is the worst i can’t even i can’t eat or anything

Okay okay okay stop buddy ow damn this guy is tough man and when i go to get away he sucks me in dude i love this it’s so cool oh but i take so much damage thank god for this armor though look at this dude freaking cool looking is this

How cool i don’t remember this boss being this way so this there’s definitely been some improvements here the block like the model and everything the animations this is all new and this is so cool i can’t hit him i’m so frozen thank god for this armor this is some boss level

Armor here and take it get wrecked i want that item yes we just destroyed them and we got ourselves the ice crystal which uh this can also be enchanted can it be enchanted with like mending oh yes it can and now we have the powers

Of this guy you can see this right here we should be able to like freeze this thing this moose freezing you to death boom oh oh oh yeah no you’re you’re mean i’m sorry i’m sorry please please i don’t want to i’m out of here i’m not here i’ll leave

You alone don’t bother me you know what i’m sorry so with that done we now actually get this beefy hammer look at this hammer um and i believe it’s it’s literally just a hammer i don’t think it does three by threes like it this is the thing like i don’t know

Sometimes hammers are more weapons in these mod packs than they are or anything this one doesn’t have like a high damage but does it do like three by three mining no any special effect like can you throw him no can’t throw hold and shift doing things it’s just a weapon

It’s actually not a super slow hammer not bad i just realized this thing regenerates itself like it has a durability bar that’s not a durability bar that’s a timer bar you can hold it for that long and then it just regenerates itself that is so cool well guys i hope you
