BIG Wizard Brewing Tower | Minecraft 1.14 Let’s Play Ep. 39 (TheNeoCubest)

Hey guys what is up the new caboose tier welcome to episode 39 of my minecraft survival let’s play so a little bit of explaining I was mining for like an hour I didn’t find a single and I mean a single diamond I mined for a good bit I

Even made a silk touch pickaxe as well as us I already had the choker box but I didn’t really I realize I could use it so I also brought that along with me and stored the cobblestone but I mined all this stuff and I wanted to mine it out

On camera I have a few projects for this series a few projects of this series oh that’s wrong pickaxe what I really want to do is make a big tower like a wizard tower for brewing and then we’re gonna go back to the nether after we build

That and hopefully should be exciting so that’s pretty cool got four stacks of lapis we’re about to have more redstone than we know what to do with as well as coal like I mined for a long time I think it’s really fun to do it like this hopefully you guys enjoy it

Right anyways I will meet you guys back up at the tip top of the world we got a few things to do this episode like I said we’re gonna try to build an amazingly huge wizard tower I don’t know how big it’s gonna be but we’re gonna

Make it pretty cool because we haven’t built really anything that crazy in this world building why is the biggest like best thing we built was that modern house and that was a while ago so I really want to bring back some fun builds to this series that’s what’s gonna revive it for me

I’m not burned out at all I’m actually having a ton of fun I woke up early this morning just so I could mine for you guys and unfortunately I didn’t get any diamonds but we’re not in a position where we really need them we’ve got the

Best stuff we need and yeah let me put all this stuff up and I will s you guys in a second so that’s our haul we got 64 redstone blocks oh you got 33 coal blocks and then two stacks iron so pretty good haul so far and I forgot the lapis blocked

We’ll do it on camera I don’t think there’s too many unfortunately lapis is pretty rare but okay yeah that’s actually a pretty good bit I think guesses because we had fortune but yeah I’m gonna throw that all the stuff into the chest yeah we have more

Redstone than we know what to do it maybe you will do a redstone project is there something you guys would want to see let me know but I’m not really good with redstone so a redstone project for me it might not be what you’re thinking just because I’m terrible with redstone

So I don’t really know what I would do exactly but I could always try it just for you guys because you guys are important to me and if that’s something you want to see as something you get to see okay alright so I have a shoulder

Box – it should be filled with okay that stuff’s just mob drop so you can throw that away very easily and then there’s a little more coal but the rest of it should just be stone and I do need a good bit of cobblestone for this hopefully that’s enough but if

It’s not that big of a deal I am however gonna put up the shoulder box I don’t really need it actually maybe for building materials mmm see that’s why something it could be useful for if like building materials and stuff but I’m gonna go ahead and put

Up all my good tools which I’ll leave them in here so I don’t need this I don’t need the silk touch I think it’s all anything I need to put up but this has mending this has mending and then this has mending and this has mending so

Basically all of our good Armour has mending which is a good thing I believe we have a good bit yeah we do have a good bit of cobblestone so I don’t think we really need to worry I do however need to collect some more wood before we

Start because we’re gonna need a good bit of wood as well so I will see you guys back here when we have a good bit of wood I’m just gonna go mine some I want to mine oak wood so I need to actually travel on my railcar and go to

Where my farm area is so I’ll meet you guys by the farm area and I won’t mind a bunch of wood on camera or anything but I just kind of want to be over there when I meet you guys okay so it’s on my railcar I realize there’s some big oak

Trees like right here so I’m just gonna stop and get them because I don’t see the point in getting like I don’t see the point going all the way over there if I have a bunch right here so I’m gonna mine this little tree alright well hopefully you guys enjoyed that decay time-lapse

I’m tired of waiting and staring at my screen and watching it we also had a creeper blow up is reminding our wood but we got like a little bit over a stack and honestly that’s not a whole lot but it’s enough for what I’m gonna do

Let me run around see if there’s any other wood that can fall well there is but I’m not gonna wait for it we should have enough yeah we have enough saplings to sort of start a little bit of a tree farm in here so I’ll meet you guys back

At home base alright so as you guys may have noticed I completely removed the sugarcane farm a lot of people told me it looked bad I agree a hundred percent there was just a lot that was going on with this this farm and it doesn’t really need to be here I’m trying to

Find with the flowing water is so I don’t want to hear this anymore and I don’t know where it is but I have to search through these all these little tunnel things and I’ll hopefully find it at some point I don’t know I’ve legitimately don’t know where it is like

I I don’t have a clue well that just made it even worse I’m stupid but yeah I want to fill in this whole thing with dirt at some point I don’t want it to be open at all so I’m gonna go grab a bunch of dirt which I think we should

Have a good bit of let’s eat we have dirt yeah we got a bunch of dirt so I’m not gonna do this on camera but I’m gonna break this entire thing all these wood things because we don’t really need sugar cane anymore we’ve had enough sugar cane for since like episode

20 and things have progressed so so does the world need to progress so I’m gonna remove all this and I’ll meet you guys when I’m back I’ll just kind of fill it in with dirt as I go but should be pretty fun right alrighty now to fill

All this in with dirt all right so it’s all filled it with dirt and that’s fine and dandy I just realized that when I don’t know how I was thinking about getting blaze rods right I was like I don’t have looting on my sword so I was

Gonna look through some of the million enchanted books and see if we have any to have looting I don’t know if they will but I assume at least one of these has to have looting loyalty that’s good and it seems like looting is a pretty rare enchantment so I don’t really know

But I’ll do a double check through all these I really feel like something in your ass to have looting so hold on huh well that’s really weird we don’t have a single book with looting which kind of sucks because when I go and kill those withers I’m not gonna get

Any I’m not gonna get any like I don’t know enchantments I guess or not I’m not gonna get any wither skulls but that’s okay wait oh I could check the hoppers potentially let me try that okay well it is kind of difficult to check these chests

Hold on so we have okay nothing in there nothing in there nothing in there Wow nothing I was really hoping there’d just be like some Savior book in here but oh wait how many oh we have a few more ok this nothing nothing oh look at that

Sharped is for looting three oh it’s better falling which I guess it’s okay oh man is there anything else hidden in these that I’ve missed because I really I I don’t think so I remember looking through them but I never looked through the hoppers so thank you guys whoever told me to look

Through the hoppers you guys just saved this entire episode because we really needed looting to make this work I don’t know how expensive this I don’t know how expensive this enchantment will be so I guess we’ll sort of find out together but that’s a really good enchanted book that is sharpness war and

Looting three do we even have sharp we only have sharp is three oh wow this is gonna be sick okay let’s see it may cost a ridiculous amount of level so yeah it’s gonna cost twenty levels will get looting three sharpness four oh yeah that’s real good oh we can get twenty

Levels real quick but I really want to start constructing this thing but let me just go afk mob farm for these things just a little bit and by the way if you guys don’t know I have my own afk fishing or not afk fishing form my own

Zombie spawner I know it’s not the most efficient I didn’t just set it up with where there’s four on every side like below and above but I made this at the beginning of the game so maybe another episode we’ll make this into a better one but I’m gonna wait here afk for a

Little bit and hopefully that happens a bunch and then we get a bunch of zombies alright I’m getting impatient staring at my screen waiting for zombies to spawn let’s just go see what we got so we have this book I want to make sure we didn’t lose it somehow is that it

A stone sword you can’t you can’t just rush him like that but over the years I’ve learned you could just rush the creepers let’s go down on this zombie spawner let’s see exactly what we got because hopefully we killed a cut enough to get or we spawned enough to get like

30 low or 20 levels I don’t know this thing works really well though alright let’s see okay we’re getting close this is a lot actually yeah this definitely 20 heck yes okay we’re gonna go and enchant this real quick so I’ll meet you guys but I know I made another anvil oh wow

These out because I predict we’re gonna be using more of them these oak wood saplings right here I don’t know if we’re gonna need them off the bat but I do know that I am gonna have to farm these at some point so I’m just gonna

Stick a row of them like right here and maybe a row of them like over here maybe not so close to this slight pole because I don’t want it to I don’t interact in the wrong way okay something like that and we’re gonna build the tower like

Right here in the middle so I’m gonna grab a few things I think what I’m gonna need the most of is cobblestone so I’m just gonna grab a crap ton of cobblestone and then uh that should be good for now and then yeah I gotta sort this trust me it’s gonna bother okay

Whatever and then we’re gonna need a bunch of oak which we did already have a few stacks of oak logs which is good so we’re go ahead and make one into these and then I think we should be good to just start building I don’t really think

There’s much else we need I know it is dark but it’ll be night pretty soon and uh yeah let’s let it go and lay out the base for it so I’m thinking like well this is the center so like right here so one two three four want to go one two

And then one and then one two and then one two three four and I want to go one two one one two and then one two three four one two one one two one two three four one two one two okay so I wanted to wanted it to

Be circular I think I’ve accomplished that here mostly at least and I’m not exactly sure how to build a wizard tower but I think if it’s like this it’ll be the best because if it’s round and it sort of goes up and then it kind of gets

Smaller and smaller I feel like that’s gonna be the coolest thing because it’ll look like a proper wizard tower and that’s really what I’m going for I’m not trying to go for some basic tower you know I want a fancy wizard tower so this is gonna be a long process it’s gonna be

A huge project it may not be finished in this episode I really don’t know I have no idea how long this episodes been but you know what we’re gonna finish it in this episode just because I kind of want to have well will at least get the base

Of it done now you look like the structure and then we’ll finish the rest on another episode but we’ll get most of it done on this episode so I’m gonna don’t mind me I’m just gonna do this for a little bit until we get up to where

We’re high enough in the sky that I have deemed that it’s a base for a wizard tower then I’ll come back we’ll go one in and then we’ll go up even higher rinse and repeat until we get to a point not a point actually you know what not a

Point it needs to go in and then it’s gonna have like a little thing at the top but like this will be able to hold most of our stuff already like our brewing stuff we’re not gonna need but I do want to kind of have some like soul sand breweries throughout it but

Something like this will look pretty cool I don’t know if we need to go up any higher before we go in one I really don’t know maybe another layer – yeah I think another two is gonna be healthy I know I’ve just been talking a building so let me shut up

And I’ll come back in a bit I’ll just finish this later real quick and then come back all right sweet so we have this complete well this base complete so my thinking is I kind of want to go in one block and then extend it up now the

Only thing is is I have to be careful because they don’t want to have the corners put in just yet so I have to go around this thing and painstakingly place these actually you know what I could just do it like this and then break the yes that’d be much simpler see

I’m stupid sometimes when I build especially not in creative like if I wasn’t creative I could bang this out and probably like 10 15 minutes but since I’m in survival I’ve got to think and I may need to use a little bit of scaffolding mmm maybe I’m not sure it depends because

There’s some details I want to add obviously to this bill it’s not just gonna be like a cobblestone cylinder it sort of decreases in diameter as it goes up it’s gonna have a few add text risk details we may add like some bits of mossy cobble here and there or something

Like that I’m not really sure but all we have to do it now is just break the corners does that be much simpler yeah see that’s a lot better and now we basically have another cylinder that we need to extend up a little bit and it’s

Gonna end up looking like a tower that sort of I don’t know you know like a wizard tower I guess that’s what I’m going for I’ve never built a wizard – I mean I have the wizard towers but not to this degree I’m kind of trying to go big or

Go home with this series because it’s either I go big with my projects or I just get bored so I need to actually push myself to build something big I’m not having to push myself so hard I mean it’s just a game at the end of the day

But I do take it very seriously because I do record it and one thing I want to mention you guys is I’m sorry but I can’t reply to every comment anymore I did it for like six months but it started to degrade my mental health and that’s not something that’s okay and if

Like a lot of people haven’t been in my position like doing YouTube and replying to every comment I don’t know if like a youtuber at my size average tried it but I did try it and I thought I could do it forever but unfortunately it just it

Started to degrade how it was feeling and maybe that was a reason I wasn’t doing as well on my uploads I really don’t know either way I stopped and I feel a whole lot better so I’m gonna take that as a sign that it was affecting my health

Mentally and yeah I like to think I’m a pretty tough person but I don’t know why it’s so hard I don’t know I mean it’s not that hard to type to him two people well like I don’t know if you guys realize but I’d probably do five

600 people per day and like that’s a lot of comments and it does take probably like two or three hours every day but now I have those two or three hours freed up to either build a Minecraft or hang out with more in a girlfriend or do

Stuff like that and those things make me a lot happier than replying to comments for two hours and just feeling overwhelmed because I when I was like just kind of playing Minecraft like the entire time I’m playing I was thinking about how many comments am I gonna have

To do after this and well as I was doing like things with my friends I’d be like oh if I don’t do comments like three hours I’m not gonna have any free time later and it’s like that’s not how I should be living my life and I’m lucky

Enough to be able to do YouTube for a job at this point if you guys don’t know I’m a sophomore in college about to be a junior starting next semester so pretty cool pretty rad but that this tree break no I was gonna say grew but I hope it

Didn’t break like part of the tower yeah we’re gonna get all the way up here I don’t think we need to go up much higher I haven’t been able to look at it yet but I predict we’ll be able to fall without dying and we’re gonna try it

We’re gonna test that hypothesis just to see if it’s true I’m gonna go up one more block and then I don’t know if I want to go up another like in diameter I don’t like someone smaller in diameter if you guys have noticed I’ve just been going like sort of down low

Right here okay and then we had two connecting diagonally like one two and then we had those four again so it was extended out like this and then there was four so I’m gonna copy that same base pattern that we had and that’ll actually look really good it’ll make it

Look really symmetric so I’m gonna go around this entire thing and essentially build that pattern just like up on top like I’m trying to let you I hope you guys know that makes sense I’m building the base pattern that we did it surely it makes sense I don’t really know I

Don’t know what makes sense to people who don’t build I have no idea some people build I’m not saying you guys don’t build I’m just saying that sometimes things that I say won’t really make a whole lot of sense because I’m like speaking at builder jargon and

People are like what you know did you just speak English or you just talk can like you talking crazy man alright but let me finish this it shouldn’t take too much longer really I might as well recorded on camera so we’re gonna do the one two three four and then break that

One and then yeah if we made this right they should connect over evenly so we’ll build these to break that one go in one and then go out diagonal against like one wait wait thank God for thank God for uh whatever this this enchantment is called feather falling I have such a

Large spire of just crap I’ve been building up I really just should use scaffolding but for some reason I don’t know why I haven’t have I even have it like crafted and stuff I don’t know why I’m not using it don’t ask me my brain to me sometimes doesn’t make sense so I

Is gonna be like where all the main stuff happens like it as far as the brewing goes but then all the other floors below it which there will be a ton will be like Sol C and growing and stuff yeah I have to sort of decide what

I want to do up here like it like for a pattern and whatnot I don’t really know I just kind of to make sure at least it’s three blocks up like this and then just make a little bit of a room up here we have to make a

Cool like pointed roof which I’ve never made before and that should look wizardy enough again I don’t know much about building wizard style stuff like old wizard stuff I don’t know but it should be kind of fun like that’s what I’m trying to say building stuff that you’ve

Never built before is always pretty fun I’m gonna go up one more layer and then we’re gonna start on this roof I actually already have a really good plan for the roof and I hope it works because if it doesn’t work I’ll be a sad boy and

I don’t want to be sad I don’t want to be sad so I’m gonna make this roof work we’re gonna do it guys I’m gonna go around with a layer of oak wood come on hurry up I got this idea in my head I don’t want it to go away okay I’m gonna

Go around with the layer of oak wood like this and I’m not gonna skip the corners we’re gonna go around we’re gonna make a one block layer around this entire thing with oak wood planks and then from there we’re just gonna extend that up a little bit and then we’re

Gonna go up in diameter and up in diameter but we’re gonna go up and diameter like every block not like go up and then go up we may we may do two actually I’m not sure again I’ve never built this before so I don’t know how

It’s gonna look I wish I could look at it and creative but like that’s the thing about survival you just kind of have to Yolo it and then if you go look at it and it looks bad you have to go back up there destroy it by hand instead

Of liking creative just like spam clicking and destroying the whole thing but I guess that’s kind of the beauty of it and you guys seem to like like the episodes that have the most views our ones were on building so I’m gonna take that into account and start building

More because yeah I’m gonna need a ton more oak wood oh well thank God for feather falling for hold on let me get back up fish wise I need to see if it looks okay I was I started to build up and I was like I should probably show it
