Hey what’s up guys it’s big tony and in this tutorial we’re going to be building a medieval castle house here on the screen is the layout we’ll be using and here’s the materials list and now let’s get started alright so here’s our layout in place And the first thing we’re going to do is build up this tower on the left side so we’ll make a u-shape with the four blocks on the left and then going around like this and we’re going to build these blocks up to a total of five blocks high And now for this bigger rectangle we’ll build it up four blocks high so i’ll just mark this out so you can see what i’m talking about so this should be one block shorter than the tower [Laughter] [Laughter] Next on the right side we’ll build up an additional layer for these four blocks then go across the right side here And then three more on the back side so it should look like this next we’re going to place an upright log in each of these corners Then we’ll place horizontal logs in between Next on any exposed parts of those vertical logs we’ll place spruce trap doors Now we’ll start building in our second floor so start with a spruce plank in this corner Then we’ll place a lantern on that plank next we’ll take upside down stairs around the edge inside of these logs and we’ll fill in the rest using spruce top slabs Now for the right side portion we’ll place a horizontal log going across and then fill in the rest of slabs next we’re going to make a spiral staircase in the tower so start with a vertical oak log going right in the center Then we’ll place a stair here one block in front then we’re gonna place an upside down stair and another stair and we’ll basically just continue with these upside down stairs and stairs until you get to the level of the stone bricks then we’re going to place three spruce planks And that’s it for our staircase going up to the second level In this gap we’ll place two spruce doors then we’ll place four trapdoors above those doors now on either side of those doors we’ll build up five stone bricks on each side on those top trap doors we’ll place two upside down stone brick stairs then above those upside down stairs We’ll place two normal stairs all right so next we’re going to build the stables which extend out from the right side so on these three spots here we’ll build up stone bricks four blocks high then at the top of these gaps we’ll place upside down stone brick stairs to form arches On this back side we’ll build up a solid stone brick wall four blocks high [Laughter] now in between these two sections we’ll build up a two by two of stone rick walls then here against this wall build up a stone brick stairs and upside down stairs until they meet in the center And we’re going to do the same thing on these two sections above the stone brick pillars then we’ll fill in the roof using deep slate tile stairs just following the same pattern and also placing those upside down stairs below all right and now since these are staples i’m going to place some coarse Dirt here i’ll fill in everything inside the staples and i’m also going to have some spilling out around the edges now in front of the door here i’m going to mix in some cobblestone and mossy cobblestone this is completely optional and you’ll probably want to adjust it based on your landscape I’m also going to mix in some coarse dirt around this cobblestone All right that looks good and now for the stables i’m just going to place two fence gates in between each of these sections then next to the door i’ll place a fence and i’ll take a lantern and place it on that fence then we just need to place some horses in our stables Alright so that’s the first level of our house now our tower is built to five blocks already and we’re gonna add an additional nine so that should be a total of fourteen and this time we’re going to build the entire five by five tower just leave a One block gap here for a door alright so we can start filling this in now i’m actually going to leave a two and a half block tall gap so i’ll just place a slab here [Laughter] [Laughter] now on this side that face is the left Side of the build i’m gonna have a two by one window two blocks below the top i’ll fill it in with iron bars then blow place three stone brick stairs two walls on each side and then i’ll place three campfires across the top and then i’ll finish filling this in Now let’s continue our staircase up to the top so it’s kind of the same idea as before we’ll basically just have this oak log going up the center then we’ll go around it with our stairs and upside down stairs all right now once you get to the top of The stone brick we’ll go one block past day with our stairs and then we’re going to fill in everything in this 5×5 area with spruce planks just make sure to leave a gap so you can get up your stairs and i’ll turn this plank into an upside down stair So next for our correlations we’ll start with an upside down stair every other block at the top of the stone brick then on top of those upside down stairs we’ll place two full stone brick blocks then against the planks we’ll place upside down stairs in between and then We’ll repeat this on all four sides All right so now that we have our stairway in place i’m going to make some small slit windows And to make these i’m basically just going to break out two stone bricks then replace it with a stone brake stair and an upside down stair above and this just gives you a little window you can shoot through with a bow so i’m going to try to mix them up and Put them in different locations along the stairway just until i have something that i think looks good so all right that looks good to me all right so next we’re going to build a wooden building on the second floor so we’ll start by building it four oak logs in each corner Then we’re going to fill in between with strip spruce logs on the front side just leave a two by two gap for some doors so place some spruce doors in there and then we’ll place a fence post with two fence gates in between then build those fence posts up two blocks high We’ll build those strip spruce legs up to the same height as those oak logs then we’ll place a campfire roof over these doors On the back side you can add some windows if you want but i’m just going to fill it all in and now on the right side i’ll just place a door and then fill in the rest then around the door place three fence posts on each side and a fence gate above And then three campfires on top then around this wall we’re actually going to build up the first level completely then on the second level place a stone break every other block so this is what it should look like then we’ll place fence posts in these gaps next we’ll place a placeholder block in This corner and then place five sideways oak logs going across then we’ll place three strips bruce logs then one more in the center in the center of the front side i’m going to place two spruce trap doors then i’m going to place a stair here and another stair right here So it should look like this then i’ll place two spruce planks and now we’re ready to start building a roof so first of all place an open spruce fence gate one block below the top of these oak logs then we’ll place deep slate tile stairs going across and extending out by one on Each side and so the frame of this roof is super simple it’s just going up the stairs and upside down stairs then when you get to the center place an upside down stair with a slab on top so it should look like this then we’ll go back down on the other side So it should look like this then we’ll take these stairs all the way across and again we’ll place open fence gates one block below the top of those oak logs you might want to make some adjustments here just so your stairs don’t connect with the roof stairs And then we’re just going to fill in the roof So place an upside down stair here and then next to these trapdoors we’ll place a full block on each side then two more stairs then we’ll turn these stairs 90 degrees on top of that full block it should look like this and place two upside down stairs in here and for this Level again we’ll turn those stairs 90 degrees and go on top like this then we’ll do the same on the other side so this is what our roof should look like when it’s all finished alright so now i’m going to go ahead and mix in some mossy and crack stone bricks With the regular stone bricks And another optional thing you can do is you can replace some of these full blocks with stairs to look like missing bricks now for some decorations i’ll place some oak leaf bushes around the house add in some sweet berries Then i’m also going to build up some grass around the backside Alright so now the exterior of our house is finished alright so for the interior the first thing we’re going to do is divide off some walls so on the left side we’ll place four stone bricks here and then two upside down stone brick stairs at the top Then underneath this log on the right side we’ll place four stone bricks then we’ll place four more then we’ll place four more on this side so we should have a two black wide gap that lines up with the other side and again we’re going to place those two Upside down stairs to make an arch all right so now let’s start breaking out the grass so we can place in our floor All right so now from the back side of this main road we’re going to place a three by six and we’ll use a checkerboard pattern of polished deep slate and polished and site Then for the rest of the floor we’re also going to use a checkerboard pattern this time we’re using stripped dark oak logs and a checkerboard will just be facing them different directions you All right so now that we have our floor in place let’s go back to this room on the right side and place a crafting table with the lantern on top then we’ll place an anvil and then this is going to be our chest room so let’s build up some chests We’ll build them up three blocks wide and four blocks tall then i’ll replace these blocks that i broke above the anvil let’s place a dark oak trap door with an ender chest on top then we’ll place a chest and a barrel and on that barrel let’s place an item frame with a clock This corner i’ll place a spruce fence with some candles on it now let’s move into our center room so start by placing a two by two of anvils with two smooth stone slabs on top then replace three more smooth stone slabs here for a shelf place a stone Cutter and then a flower pot then on the right side i’ll place three barrels like so and on this one we’ll place an open fence gate in this corner place four bookshelves in an l shape and then a chest then we’ll make a chair here using a stair and a sign Right here i’m gonna make a one by one painting so we’ll need some placeholder blocks so it should look like this this corner will place a scaffold and then a flower pot and then we’ll make a chair using a stair and a sign again next let’s go under our stairway and We’ll place a barrel and then a chest then i’m going to place a lantern next to the barrel all right so that’s it for the decorations on our first floor now for the second floor i’m going to start by building up oak logs in each corner Then at the top of those logs we’ll place horizontal locks going across just skipping those stairs then i’ll place stairs in each of these corners to round it out now i’m going to place some upside down deep slate tile stairs going across then i’ll place two vertical logs on each side Some more upside down stairs Then we’ll place full blocks in the center now on the back side of the house we’ll place two beds of any color you like place a bookshelf on each side and then a lantern on one now we’re gonna place a two by two painting so we’ll just need a placeholder block Then i’m gonna place some carpet around the bed again you can use any color and that’ll be it for our bedroom next we’re going to go outside onto this balcony and place a cartography table with a dark oak sign on it then i’ll make two chairs using a spruce Slab and a spruce sign And we’ll place a lantern on the ground here Next we’re going to go up to the top of our stairway and if it’s too dark anywhere along the stairway you can just place a chain and then a lantern Alright so now at the top here i’m actually going to change this stair so that it just goes straight then i’m going to make a railing using oak trap doors and we’ll leave one gap on this side place an empty flower pot here gonna place a barrel in the corner Then we’ll place a stair and sign chair and let’s place a lantern next to the barrel and finally on top of this barrel let’s place an item frame with a bow alright and now we’re all finished i hope you enjoy your new
