Hello everybody welcome to frere home of the dwarves and part of the Gemini a community collab I’ve been working on this build for probably about two months now and it’s been an absolute honor to build something like this for Gemini take a big inspiration of mine and a

Great friend too but man I’m ready to reveal this build for you guys so let’s get straight into it and let’s get on with the building I start off with just a simple full chest right in the middle of the mountain a symbol of power for

The dwarves and it’s got to be something amazing it’s got to be really I catchy so make sure it’s one of the most detailed builds out of all of it I start with planning it all with a little bit of wall and then I start detailing the

Middle of the fortress with just some simple gray palettes and not something too catchy because it is dwarven but enough so that it is visible and as you can see I have a lot planned around here I’ve got purple for bridges pink for the towers and then what I do here is I

Start building some freya colored banners I think they turned out pretty amazing in the end and now what I do is I just get back into it straight back into the fortress building I start detailing the actual main entrance of the fortress itself making sure I don’t

Go over the top of the details than just something very simple I tried to do some chains here thinking they might look good but they were just too big in the end so what I did was I just added some little fire pits now this is where the

Freya build pattern really starts coming along for me I add in these massive fire pits which I think turned out pretty good in the end and what I do is I kind of do this layered pattern where lavas falling down from the top and it’s going to another Bowl and it’s going to

Another Bowl and it’s going to another Bowl and honestly I think this is probably one of my favorite parts of the build because it really makes it feel very dwarven and I and then I had like this little crafters area in just a little bit of detail to fill in the

Blank spaces and then I built this massive Tower here is supporting one of the biggest towers out of all of them and I just do some really simple detailing here nothing over the top and then on the top what I do is I build this massive

I fit on the top which is going to come a reoccurring theme of the Freyr build and with that the build is really starting to come along in the foreground we have this epic entrance to the city which we’ll build later and in the background we’ve got these layered lava

Pools which is really making the build come together but now we’ve got to start work on the bridge now the bridge was actually pretty difficult to get right what I started off with was just some very simple it supports on each side kind of holding up the bridge but it looked really thin

In the end and very unrealistic so I had to go through quite a few ways to kind of figure it out and I do it on the other side as well but I feel like the supports of the bridge look really good actually I’m very effective now this

Isn’t the final design of the bridge but we do start work on that via apprentices anvil on the top here I built this little area I was going to build a little flag here but is a bit too big syke on I just removed it and then I

Built the lava flowing into some works it only makes sense to do so best apprentices anvil on the top of there and inside here is where the Masters anvil will be now this is a little throwback to the old let’s plays on YouTube and yield which time-lapses

This isn’t the best build in the world it’s kind of noobish actually but it really it’s kind of a throwback to like people like shin who really inspired me back in the day to start YouTube and get building then we start work on yet another flame

Of Freya now this is probably one of the biggest flames out of all of the build – – one on top of the fortress and man you know what these flames worked out really well for the build they really tied it all together but they were there couldn’t be a flame on

The bottom here because it take away from the focus of default just on the top so I thought what can I put up here at first I thought you know maybe it could just stay as it is but I decided against that in the end and what I went with

Is I went for a trebuchet now I’ve never really built a siege cannon before this or a siege weapon before this service is really exciting to try and make it work out and I think it did work out pretty good in the end and I start working on

All of these little tunnels back here it really adds just a little bit of color to the build even though it is still black and right it does add just that little bit of color and when I start work on this very high fortification up

Here it kind of blocks off the left side to the outside which turns out pretty good and then I started work on another little lava pool kind of thing with layers going down and down and down and it just adds to dwarven fill again and

What I did do this time is I did remove some of the snow because he didn’t really make that much sense for snow to be right next to lava but it could I guess it could kind of happen but now start working on this little bridge just

Something to fill up the space little bits of feeling a little bit plain and when I starts to work on a little area behind this which was just another little it just gives a little bit of black shade and because there’s a lot of Gray’s in this and obviously if you

Don’t know akan grayscale build you want from light gray to nearly black so you know it really adds a little bit of coloring and then finally we do one more flame this is actually the last flame of the built right up here which adds just that even kind of feel from the front

Whereas like left right is a weaver and and then we work on the final tower which was originally planned to be another flame but being so close to the fortress flame it just didn’t look too good so a friend iris came over and I decided to make it into a small little

Outpost fing instead so I had some final shading to the fortress out front and then I put a little flag right on the summit and then the build is finally completed and then without further ado is my absolute pleasure to show you Frere kingdom of the dwarfs And before we move on to the town because it was a hoe entire town accompanying this build but I was made by the Gemini hey people I want to thank Gemini ta she let me build this whole entire thing she’s got quite a big channel 200,000 subscribers it’s been an

Drill that this jaw is insane it’s spewing up all of this material like wow whoever built this props to that because that is there’s a seriously cool build but it’s insane to think that all of these builds are made by their own people every single house is made by a

Different person but if some people made a few but most of these are just made by a single person look at this crane over here this is insane look it’s like it’s like carrying some stuff it’s got like a cool little counterweight there’s a little dwarven head over

I mean that’s pretty cool and then there’s like a little mine some TNT typical Dwarfs and then Oh No now the absolutely insane thing about this is that there is not just this one kingdom there is actually free a red blue and a yellow one each one having their own law

Frere is B merchants cap so it makes a lot of money it has a lot of gold and it’s very rich but man there was probably about 200 odd citation needed but it’s worried about 200 odd build submitted in the plot world and she’s had to put all of these together which

Is in take it takes an insane amount of time so in mad respect for that because that is pretty insane I mean look there’s even like a little build out here it’s actually boarded up I always really boarded up but yeah it’s pretty cool now over here is Tara which is like the

Military faction everyone’s kind of scared of these guys and look how insane this is this is only a small portion of it we’ve got the fortress which is built by gem and we’ve also got this amazing dragon this was a belief built by gem and look at this thing

It’s insane and then we got like this little mage thing here this little guard tower probably protecting themselves on the dwarves I’ve got like this small little house here there’s a so many little houses most of eazy-e have interiors as well which is probably the

Most insane thing if we go in here this one doesn’t know this one everyone does most of them do I think I was just a little bit unlucky but man it is insane it is really insane look at this arena serene of all the colors of the kingdoms

On here got like this this little throne here that’s amazing it’s like this little Observatory up here man it’s really issue it’s amazing it’s amazing and to think that not even one person built this like tore this is like a collaboration 200 people is absolutely insane to as that as a statistic really

I mean there’s so many people helped out with this build and man it is pretty good isn’t it I mean look at look at the amount of builds are like is it’s insane just there’s so many and most of these like I’ve said will have interior like I’m

Gonna go into this one as hope this one has interior this one has interior that’s right it worked the second time I mean look at it it’s all really well decorated and all of these blocks were placed by people as well because the welder didn’t work for the 1.13 world so

Everything had to be done by hand luckily the fortress did have welded it also would have been a little bit impossible and now look at this all of these trees I believe were built by someone and some of them may have been built by Jim but I believe most of them

Were built by people what is this over here it’s just a casual little treehouse over this thing looks amazing um man this is so cool got a little Zen a logging camp over here I mean this is just neat it’s got like little little baby looks here man

It’s so cool we’re so cool and that leads us onto Xena which is like the nice peaceful nation no one’s really got beef with them and man that is pretty cute to be honest as a nation they’re just kind of nice and peaceful kind of

Out of the way you know they have the the coast line to go with with these amazing ships look at this wing it’s on an angle and then obviously we got this thing over here which is also amazing and then look at how many ships are I

Didn’t realize there’s so many these are insane there is look at this one this one’s cool cool fish that’s that’s pretty cool this is for Fortress of Xena man it looks pretty cool oh yeah the wood everything works really well with it and these strips spruce logs of dark oak logs actually look

Really amazing with this whole build I believe that this was built by – second with the help of Kirsten and Freya but citation needed on that but I’m pretty sure most of the work was done by miner there’s a little whale here there’s all these little gods standing

Around which is pretty cool maybe I should have added some of them in Freya but we have got a massive trebuchet to kind of hand it out where these guys have got a really cool ballista but I still think that a trebuchet would probably top that then here we go we

Have got a floating boy I believe this is supposed to be minor my heart broken in the copy and pasting over and we’ve got the whale statue for Jim and we’ve also got this piano which is really well done like we’ve got all of these dragon heads being pushed into

There and man I’ve never seen that before but I works really well no so we got like the little pedals as well which is such a nice little feature but look at it for it just look at this this is insane might add up all of the other

Kingdoms together and you realise just how massive this build is in a grand total but man this this is amazing this is so cool and man I just want to thank again gem for letting me on let me do all of jobs over in prayer and it’s been
