A1MOSTADDICTED MINECRAFT – Minecraft: Mushroom House Tutorial

Hey guys almost addicted here and today we’re going to be building this survival house and it’s a perfect little mushroom house but first i’d like to say a huge thank you to everybody who’s supported me and especially my patreons and i put a post in my community about

Anyway um let’s pull this off sorry i’m getting a bit sentimental but honestly i really do appreciate it because i’m i am struggling at the moment i’ll be honest with you but i still want to um be able to put out content for you guys and i’m gonna start doing some

Want to post down below what you would like me to build i will do my best and yeah sorry to get all sentimental but yeah thank you Right so let’s do this it will fit in a 25 by 25 roughly and i’m just showing you here how you can change the color of it it doesn’t necessarily have to be red you could do loads of these so you could do red yellow

Or whatever and i’ve just done mine by a little pond it’s just got a nice little seating area as you can see i’ve just kind of put some flowers and crops and some um beehives and yeah it’s got a nice swing and everything and it’s balcony at the side and at the

Beginning i forgot to show it’s got a little uh kind of flower pop balcony at the back as well and a chimney coming out of it so we’re gonna do it in red um but obviously you can change the color and but i’m going to use the strip birch logs

And for these little spots all over the place i’m going to use just plain oak planks and so let’s start off we’re going to use some of the strip as well and as you can see here i’ve got a few bells about the area and yeah i’ve kind of done a

Little bit the landscape just added little bits of that but i guess that could be stone as well but uh to all the people that slap a like on this video and leave comments of what you want next i really do appreciate it so thank

You i think i’ve said thank you a lot so i’m gonna let’s start building now i guess and so i’m gonna start with the strip logs i’m gonna place one here and then right at the side of it i’m gonna grab the spruce block three gaps in between there another

Block and then another strip and then i’m going to grab the strip logs like that one two from this point and then we’re gonna go diagonal out to the side and count one two three four five diagonal one one two three four five diagonal one one two three four five now up

Altogether decided to go up nine blocks so that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine and i’m just gonna kind of do these for two three four five six seven eight nine these on the inside are going to go up five blocks so this is one

Two three four five and we can push it out like that because that’s going to be our next floor level so that’s one two three four five and then straight across here and we can just fill that bit in for now we’re gonna fill it all in but

We can bring this down and just just enough so we’ve got like a one gap doorway like that these are gonna be up i’d say what’s best is three so yeah one that’s two three one two three one two three one two three like this and then we can carry on after

That that’s there perfect right so now we’re gonna go on to this we’re gonna place it like this and then we’re gonna go i think it’s best to bring these up now to these levels like this and we’ll just start doing this front so put a stair here and stay here with a

Stair under and a stair under like this and then we can put a stair under here and let’s do it under here and then what we can do is place one there just make sure they’re all in line we’ll just fill it all in for now

I’m gonna have a window there but yeah and so i’m gonna have a trapdoor here a trapdoor here and then underneath these two bits place trapdoors here as well like that and you can place a trapdoor like that as well and then on top of this is going to be a slab of

The um spruce so just place there and then we can obviously put our trap door under like that so that’s our doorway it’s looking nice you can actually get a button um of the birch would probably work well like that and that would fit perfectly now we can take out a window here

So i think that’d be the perfect place for a window i’m going to bring all of these up we might as well just keep them all filled in now and then we can make the holes later or if you don’t want to do that i think we’re going to have a doorway

Here so before you start building i will bring it all the way up and just make sure your doorways at the same level as this window like that because we’re going to have this floor level that’s going to be filled all in and the same with the back window as

Well so these will all be filled up to the same apart from the middle one which will be level with this this one hasn’t got a window here so we can fill this completely in and it doesn’t matter about the windows but these are all coming up nine blocks all together

And yeah and let me know what you think to this design i could probably do a huge one um but you could probably make a whole little village out of this and so yeah let’s see if this this is the level this is where you can find the level

Yeah we can have it there So once you’ve found your level it should be there and we’ve got our window at the back we’ve got this side piece here so from the front it’ll be at the right hand side here this is where we’re going to have our little thing going around

And so that’s all filled in we might as well fill all this flooring apart from this one in the back corner because that’s where i’m going to put a ladder going up so you can kind of get into the build perfect like that and then that will be our side balcony there perfect

I think what we should do now is place one two one two and one two three four five one two three one and it’s just kind of uh making the back kind of look all right so one two three four five one two three one and then just two in each corner

Like this but you can kind of make it a little bit more messy and organic but i’m kind of um for tutorial purposes and doing it like that but as you can see here i’ve got them here even got a little one coming out the side here

Like that so you can mess it around you can make it a bit more busy you can have some up in some areas like that a bit higher just so it kind of looks like the bottom of a mushroom kind of thing so yeah at the bottom here i’m going to not

Bring it up that high actually because i’m going to have three grass blocks here and then underneath two stairs and we can have a trap door and then we can just wrap trap doors around it don’t don’t wrap the blocks all the way around it that’s not gonna work

Like that and then for the top of it i think we can just get away with something like that but you can actually turn in for each corners like that and yeah it works perfectly we can actually get a window for that one because this one’s going to be a window you can

Add some maybe some ferns or something or some flowers of your choice nice and simple for that bit window here and then we’re going to have to place a window directly on there not just above it just there because it’s gonna interfere with the top of the roof

And so let’s do this first right so one two three four five one two one two three four five one two one two three four five one two one two three four five one two now you can do that in any color and of your choice i think what i do now is

One two three and then yeah i think i actually do four yeah five even so double that up and then three so yeah one two three four five and then three for each one and then i extend the the back of it a bit later so five and three around each corner

Five and then three and then i go in by let’s see hmm i’ll extend it so it makes more sense like that so one one one one one one in the middle one one one in the middle and like that and then the next bit i think

What i do is count one two one two like that one two one two one two one two making sure you’ve got the three lines there and we cannot take away the spots later it’s a lot easier to just do it this way and then obviously sort spots out there

Okay across here i’m gonna count one two one two one two one two on each of the corners so we’re kind of covering up that little bit one two one two like that and then we might as well fill that in ready like that and what you can do is you can

Bring these up one extra one there that and just fill these in so we’ve got some nice roof space okay the next bit let’s have a look it goes on to there so it shall be one two three four yeah one two three four five i think that is correct

Yeah so one two three four five you should have a space either side there one two three four five or one in the middle and two each side whichever’s the easiest then a diagonal one to fill this bit in and then we can bring this log up to meet these

So it’s all nice and tidy and then the next bit i think i do this so one two three four five and then one two three four five one two three four five one two three part five and then to end it i think i put one in each corner

And then count one two three one two three one two three one two three and then just fill this in now for the front what i decided to do is take that out and make it into a window so we might as well take that out so we can actually see through

The window there and uh yeah you can just kind of randomly place your spots all around here i will try and do it like this because it kind of looks alright so we’re going to have a spot here at the front and maybe a spot here and a spot

Here and maybe one at the top here like that so that looks all right it’s just kind of evening it out so maybe one here you don’t want them too close together so if you had one there it wouldn’t look right so kind of one there maybe we could get away with

One here instead of there and then around the back yeah it’s just kind of random maybe one dangling down here maybe one here um one here one here one maybe down here and then let’s see get away with one at the top and here perfect and what we can do actually

We’ll have that there and maybe one hanging out the back perfect and yeah underneath i’d put all that stuff now this is when i did an extra mushroom off the side so that’s four lots of that so here we count one two three and then i think i did it like this

One two three and then one two three like that and then we go up by one two three and then out one two three up again one two three and then out one two one two one two and i think i did this one here like that

So it kind of looks like that so it’s two two up two up two up two up two up perfect we’ve got it right and now off here so you you count earlier one two three one two three diagonal one two three and then this should be just touching one two three

Like that so in the middle here you will have a three by three square we can bring that up again like this and then on top we can have a little square like this so it’s kind of like an extra mushroom added on and instead of putting these spots what i

Did is i actually use buttons because i thought it’s a smaller mushroom we could have like little spots around like this could even have them underneath like that and just randomly placed maybe one on top or maybe two like that um how many do they do there yeah two one there perfect

We can maybe have one there as well so i think that looks perfect for a little thing and then what i did here is i got the chain and then i used trapdoor as well so the chain was going down from this point so where we put this two bit out we’ll

Count one two three four five six maybe yeah six down and then underneath that we can just place a trap door don’t fall down there a trapdoor going underneath there and it makes a perfect little swing so yeah we’ve got that and uh let’s do this little balcony now

Now this balcony here is just situated underneath this window so where you would have that window there we’re going to put that that and then that and that like that and then outwards it’s kind of as you can see one two three out from this one here so one

Two three and from the far end one one two two three and then just put it straight across here and just put them across until they meet like so that say yeah and then we get some of the spruce logs you’re gonna have to crouch down for these

Little bits here and then on top we’re gonna place that with the slab and then i used the lectins so we’re gonna have to crouch down and place them from the inside like this all the way across and do it here and then what i did is i got the

Trapdoors again crouching down And then just putting them across like this because they kind of like fit in perfect and make a perfect little balcony and then like this so we’ve got a nice little balcony there but what you can do you can always keep expanding this balcony so if you wanted the balcony here

You could have it like that and all you would need to do is just keep expanding these back so just these across here and you can keep going you could obviously have you could have a big walkway so it kind of meets the other mushrooms

That might be kind of cool idea as well so like that put that on there obviously that one here i’m falling all over there we go and then we’ve got this on here and yeah it’s just a perfect little side balcony so you can have one gap two gaps i think

I put two gap there and then an overhang of two here so like this one one strip there and then two strips there and then one two three at that side one two three on that side and underneath i just placed a load of these and this is why i put

That one there because when we’re trimming under with that It doesn’t get in the way so like that Up to this point and uh yeah same with this if you want to do it kind of like there so it doesn’t interfere with that roof you can do that that way and underneath here as well so yeah and then i put a little um

I think i put a little we have a look a little stair here just to the side and then i just turned it into a little chair for sitting out you can sit there get through that door and then i think i put a lantern

Just out here i did put them outside as well so lantern out here and uh i took these bits out here just underneath to add more lanterns and uh yeah i had him on chains though so you don’t have to put the chain there but i had a chain hanging down

By one obviously you can keep it like that one you can maybe stretch this down even more Like that i kind of like how it’s kind of odd and you can have a lantern under here but i did actually put a little bell here and for this little bit as well if you want a little bit more detail there you can put a stair there instead

And we can take this out let’s just put that there for now and then we can use the spruce wooden door put it on the inside outside like that and then i just got a trapdoor so you can remove these trapdoors just to have that detail there and then i’ve got some bush

And i’m using the better leaves so it kind of and the autumn texture pack so if i just quickly have a look for you yeah i’m using this pack and the better leaves so yeah just to have different kind of leaves leafs obviously you can just use green leaves

And then a compositor thing there perfect and uh i think i did have a lantern at the side here as well so we’ve got that kind of like how this is overhanging like that and um let me see what else did i have um let’s see if i’m missing anything oh yeah yeah

And the chimney see the chimneys here so it’s kind of level with that and it’s coming out of that one so the chimney would be from here and i think it came just at the side of this door here so i did actually put a furnace i will

Show you around in the other house and so you can take a bit of inspiration from it you don’t have to necessarily do it that way i’ve lost where the furnaces go that’s not good furnace and then i think i got um just a cobblestone wall i think cobblestone wall and then

I did this and then for this one i think i went like this and there was a stair so cobble i got the cobblestair like this and then i turned it like that and then i got another cobble and then on top of that i got campfire

So get the campfire so we can obviously get the smoke and then i got some spruce trap doors just to wrap it around like that and then to finish it off i got a cobblestone wall and just placed it on top so it’s hiding the campfire

But we’ve got a smoking chimney now and outside i did put a little campfire as well and i just kind of uh i got some trapdoors and kind of spaced them out like this just like someone would be camping out there or something like that and uh yeah for these touches here

It kind of completely random so maybe one here one here like that put one up here and uh yeah i just think it adds to it see this is completely random so you can have just in random places where you feel it might work maybe one here one here maybe one up here

One down here somewhere maybe here like that it just gives it that sort of rustic look i think i think it looks really nice so yeah and that is pretty much our house let’s see if i added any other details yeah like little details like this I had um just little bits here and if you would like as well you could have this coming down like this so it kind of looks like it’s supported even more so there’s loads you can do um loads of different stuff so i’ll just give you some little extras that you

Could kind of add to it maybe you could put it out like this and then get some stairs you’re gonna have to get the stairs to where this point so you can kind of put them like that and then put your stairs going down and you’ve got another way into your home

Like that what i tend to do is put stairs underneath just so it kind of makes it look a little bit thicker and then what you can do is maybe add these going up as well so it kind of looks like it’s uh supported if you don’t like how

It zigzags there you can always have it from the ground so it kind of it’s a whole thing like that and then at the top you can have it coming out i double them up like this obviously we won’t need that one so we can put that out and remove those

So something like that you know and if you want to complete that by carrying on doing this so it kind of works like that let’s remove this one and i can show you guys what it looks like and then you can kind of decide which you like better

And so on and so forth let’s remove this let’s stack these up and we’ve got kind of like a hidden area here now so that is our perfect little balcony and we’ve got a little space in here that we can kind of use you can kind of block this area off as well

If you would like and so kind of just stacking these up and you’ve got that area blocked off as well so yeah or you could just have it as a one little fence there kind of blocking it off and then you’ve got a little staircase going up and it leads you into your

House this way so uh yeah definitely different ideas that you could use and if you don’t like that there you can have this take away the stairs and have it kind of like a plane thing i kind of uh i wanted that as a support so even if you just do

One so one there and just have the other as that so uh different stuff different things and uh let’s see at the top here let’s see if we can make it like if we take those five out and place it like like this kind of gives more look to the

Roof or you could even just do it to there like that make it look like the roofs going up kind of thing so that’s another idea and um yes i think it’s a perfect little house i’m going to show you around what it looks like on the inside

So just as you come in i’ve got like an armor stand at the side and then this is kind of like uh a stair with two slabs i’ve just put some birch pressure plates a cake i just put a little trip wire hook there and in each corner

I just put a lantern and then obviously this is where the stairs going all the way up and then i just put an end rod there but obviously if you’re in survival you could just put a normal yeah a normal gate in whatever color you like

It’s like that i just kind of liked it because it gave a bit of that and then i put a little chair here so another little seat little red carpet down with this going up which is a strip log with a little thing on and then i just put

This going down which is a chain a pot if you put a plant in it it looks like you’ve got some hanging pots so you could do that the side of the door i just put some chests going up but you can decorate however you like

I’m just kind of showing you what i did and then this is a spruce block and then crafting table in the middle i put an item frame on and then i put a half slab and then a sign over it so if you aim the sign there it goes over it

And then i just got these trapdoors and a trapdoor there so we can actually fit things on it and a trap door above it so that makes the kind of nice little shelf the side here just two furnaces and stair underneath trap door trap door and then i put

Trapdoors at the side so it kind of looks like it’s encased in another little hanging basket so two chains going down this time and then yeah so that is the downstairs but you can change your armor and do whatever you like but i thought that was an okay downstairs now upstairs

I put two stairs there just as you’re coming through with some of that on over the doorway i just put a trapdoor there and a trapdoor down just so i could fit a lantern on so that is the doorway onto our balcony there and then i put this

Going down here but obviously i put it all the way through the other one and that’s going all the way through the roof the roof design just loads of lanterns around i put an extra um wool there with the lantern on not going through and this is just stairs just uh

In whatever pattern you like so panned like that and then i just followed the roof so going all the way around but you can do it however you like and three chests up there so just as you’re coming through so the doorways there two across here maybe a little picture up there

And for this um all i did is if you can have a look underneath here it’s just four blocks and then i put these on and then just put trapdoors here at the side with the stair going up so it’s three trap doors and then at this side trapped all their trapdoor there

Trap door here trap door here and a trapdoor going up like that and then i just got four going over the top so to get that it’d be like up here and then just like that so it’s kind of like you could even have a overhang like that

I just thought it was a cool little bed idea or for like a little bunk bed at the side of it i just put a post there put a picture on and then some more trapdoors and a little chest a composer or whatever with some bushes on

And that’s our window at the top and then here i just put a little broom stand with another trapdoor so we just place a trapdoor on the lower end there you can place it on whatever you like a little pot and there’s some more pots and plants so

Yeah two furnaces there and just trap doors stacked up but you can use carpets or whatever you like but yeah a little red carpet going around there so that the interior really super simple interior but i think it looks really cool but you can do whatever you like if you

Like this one you can obviously stop the video pause it do your own thing and around the house what i’ve done is got some cobblestone i’ve got a little bit of gravel there as well just little bits of stone here and there but depending on your landscape you can

Do whatever you like i got a little bit of the trim of the slab just going around it and then this is just wheat so little bits of holes for however your landscape is some flowers around and then i just got some beehives and then i just put them on top of

Like a strip birch log and yeah that was it really at the side here i had a little pond so all i did is i got a strip oak put some oak up here or stripped spruce even and then the oak fence just going up and then i just put a

Little lantern on there and another little uh kind of seat there and just that going across here with this here so yeah with the i put a bit of sugar cane there i did actually put some coral down there and some lily pads around um but yeah it’d be cool if you could

Make a whole moat going around it and then do some little bridges or something but hopefully you got a bit of inspiration from this and there you’ve got now got a new mushroom village house so yeah a few little adaptions that you can do to it to make it look even more cooler
